Abstract

Perangkat  penilaian kompetensi berbicara  mata pelajaran bahasa Jawa di sekolah dasar belum optimal sehingga belum mampu mengungkap seluruh potensi siswa. Penilaian masih menitikberatkan  pada bentuk tertulis. Oleh karena itu, alat penilaian yang komprehensif untuk menilai seluruh aspek perlu dikembangkan.  Penelitian ini bertujuan  mendeskripsikan karakteristik pengembangan perangkat penilaian berbicara, menyusun kembali model perangkat penilaian  kompetensi berbicara, dan  menguji keefektifan perangkat penilaian  kompetensi berbicara pada  mata pelajaran bahasa Jawa  di SD Kelas Tinggi. Prosedur penelitian yang digunakan adalah Reaserch and Development (R&D). Data  penelitian ini berupa  deskripsi kebutuhan, deskripsi saran dari ahli, dan  hasil uji coba produk. Data  dikumpulkan dengan teknik angket,  uji ahli, serta tes. Data dianalisis  menggunakan teknik deskriptif kualitatif, kuantitatif  prosentase, dan uji keefektifan. Hasil penelitian ini berupa  model penilaian kompetensi berbicara meliputi jenis bercerita, berpidato, dan berdialog. Perangkat penilaian ketiga jenis berbicara tersebut  terdiri atas materi ajar yang sesuai KD, penilaian aspek sikap, pengetahuan, dan  keterampilan. Hasil penelitian ini dapat dimanfaatkan  guru sekolah dasar kelas tinggi untuk melakukan penilaian kompetensi berbicara. Penelitian ini meneliti penilaian kompetensi berbicara, agar lebih lengkap perlu dilakukan penelitian lanjutan dengan kompetensi yang berbeda.The assessment tools of speaking competence in Javanese language subjects in primary schools have not been optimal so that they have not been able to uncover all students’ potential.  The assessments are still focused on written form Therefore, an assessment tool that meets the rules needs to be developed. This study aimed to describe the characteristics of the development of assessment tools to speak, recast the model of speaking competence assessment tools, and test the effectiveness of the assessment of competence to speak on the subjects of the Java language in high grade primary school. The procedure of the research is Research and Development (R & D). This research data is in the form of need description, a description of the expert advice, and product test results. The data were collected by questionnaire technique, expert testing and tests. They were analyzed using qualitative descriptive technique, quantitative percentages, and test effectiveness. The results of this research are models of speaking competence assessment include types of storytelling, speeches, and dialogue. Three types of speaking assessment tools consist of appropriate teaching materials based on Basic Competence (KD), assesses the attitudes, knowledge, and skills. The results of this study can be exploited for high-grade primary school teachers to conduct speaking competence assessment. This study examined the speaking competence assessment, in order to more fully need to do further research with different competencies.

Abstract

Situasi kebahasaan penutur asing dalam ranah sosial masyarakat dwibahasawan memiliki berbagai kendala yang dipengaruhi oleh berbagai faktor. Penelitian ini dimaksudkan untuk menelaahkode tutur verbal penutur asing dalam ranah sosial masyarakat dwibahasawan. Fokus penelitian ini adalah wujud, fungsi, dan faktor kode tutur penutur asing dalam ranah sosial masyarakat dwibahasawan. Adapun tujuan penelitian ini adalah mendeskripsi wujud, menentukan fungsi,mendeskripsi dominasi fungsi, danmengidentifikasi faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi komunikasi verbal penutur asing dalam ranah sosial masyarakat dwibahasawan.Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan teknik pengamatan dan wawancara.Analisis data penelitian dilakukan melalui dua prosedur, yaitu analisis selama proses pengumpulan data dan analisis setelah pengumpulan data.Wujud, fungsi, dominasi fungsi, dan faktor kode tutur verbal penutur asing dalam ranah sosial masyarakat dwibahasawan. Wujud kode komunikasi verbal penutur asing berupa register dan ragam.Fungsi bahasa yang ditemukan meliputi fungsi ekspresif-referensial, fungsi ekspresif-konatif, fungsi konatif-referensial,fungsi fatis-konatif,danfungsi fatis-referensial. Faktor yang mempengaruhi adalahtempat dan suasana tutur-peserta tutur, peserta tutur-tujuan tutur, suasana tutur-peserta tutur-tujuan tutur, pokok tuturan-peserta tutur, dan sarana tutur-peserta tutur.Peneliti memberikan saran kepada pembaca dan peneliti lain untuk menjadikan penelitian ini sebagai kajian lanjutan dengan objek serta tempat yang berbeda dan tidak terbatas pada komunikasi verbal serta dalam ranah sosial saja.The situation of foreign language speakers in the realm of social bilingual have various constraints influenced by a variety of factors. This study aimed to examine the code said verbal foreign speakers in the realm of social bilingual. This is the focus of research exists, function, and the code says foreign speakers in the realm of social bilingual. The purpose of this study are to describe the form, specify the function, describing the dominance of the function, and identify factors that influence verbal communication foreign speakers in the realm of social bilingual. Data was collected by observation and interview techniques. To analyze the data of this study is done through two procedures, namely the analysis of the data collection process and analysis of collected data.The result is a form, function, function domination, and the verbal code said foreign speakers in the realm of social bilingual.The results of this study are form, function, domination function, and verbal speech code factor of foreign speakers in the social domain bilingual society. A form of verbal communication code in the form of foreign speakers and variety of registers. The function of language is found in the form of expressive function-referential, expressive functions-conative, function connative-referential,function phatic-conative, and function phatic-referential. Factors that influence is the place and the atmosphere of speech-participant said, participant said-purpose speech, the atmosphere of speech-participant said-purpose speech, the principal speech-participant said, and means said-participant said. Based on this, the researchers advise readers and other researchers to make research as research continued with the object and a different and not limited to verbal communication as well as in the social sphere alone.

Abstract

Buku pengayaan merupakan bahan ajar yang penting sebagai pelengkap buku teks. Melihat fenomena yang terjadi, perlunya penanaman nilai-nilai kewirausahaan agar generasi sekarang siap menghadapi Masyarakat Ekonomi Asean (MEA). Tujuan dari penelitian ini yaitu mendeskripsi kebutuhan, menyusun prinsip-prinsip, dan menguji keefektifan buku pengayaan. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode research and development (R&D) yang diadaptasi dari teorinya Borg dan Gall. Hasil penelitian ini yaitu buku pengayaan yang memenuhi kebutuhan peserta didik dan guru, serta memenuhi prisip-prinsip pengembangan buku pengayaan. Berdasarkan hasil uji keefektifan,buku pengayaan ini efektif digunakan dalam pembelajaran menulis teks prosedur kompleks.The book of enhancements into materials that are important as a complement of textbooks. See the occurred phenomena, the need for planting values entrepreneurship so that generation is now ready to face the Asean economic community (MEA). The purpose of this research that describe the need, compiling principles, and test the effectiveness of enrichment books. This research uses the methods of research and development (R&D) which was adapted fromhis theory of Borg and Gall. The results of this research that enrichment books that meet the needs of learners and teachers, as well as fulfilling the principle guiding the development of enrichment books. Based on the results of a test of the effectiveness of this effective enrichment, books used in learning to write the text of the procedure is complex.

Abstract

Karya sastra memiliki standar ganda. Secara tekstual karya sastra merupakan wacana yang berdimensi estetika, sedangkan secara kontekstual karya sastra merupakan meniatur potret struktur sosial budaya manusia dan segala pernik-pernik. Dimensi estetika serta meniatur struktur sosial dapat dibongkar untuk dipahami elemen tekstualnya. Penelitian ini bertujuan membongkar elemen-elemen tekstual, kognisi sosial dan konteks pada 13 cerpen,yaitu Menunggu, Si Kupu-Kupu, Matinya Seorang Penari Telanjang, Senja di Kuburan Keroncong Pembunuhanan, Sepotong Senja untuk Pacarku, Sebuah Pertanyaan untuk Cinta, Bulan di Atas Kampung, Tujuan: Negeri Senja, Hujan Senja dan Cinta,Cintaku Jauh di Komodo, Cinta di Atas Perahu Cadik, dan Aku, Pembunuh Munir. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kumpulan cerpen Senja dan Cinta yang Berdarah karya Seno Gumira Ajidarma memiliki karakter dalam penulisan cerpennya seperti latar, detail, maksud, praanggapan, dan nominalisasi yang bervariasi. Pemilihan kata yang menggunakan majas mampu membuat para pembaca menikmati setiap karya sastranya. Cerpen ini diangkat oleh pengarang sebagai sebuah peristiwa yang pernah terjadi di masyarakat. Simpulan elemen tekstual pada teks kumpulan cerpen Senja dan Cinta yang Berdarah karya Seno Gumira Ajidarma, antara lain: teks pada cerpen memaparkan peristiwa yang ada dimasyarakat dengan kajian semantik yang ditekankan seperti latar, detail, maksud, praanggapan, dan nominalisasi.Pengarang menggunakan majas yang mampu menarik minat pembaca untuk menggali isi dan tujuan yang diinginkan pengarang. Konteks berupa kognisi sosial dan analisis sosial memiliki ciri khas pada setiap cerpen yang mengangkat perkembangan zaman yang makin praktis. Penelitian dengan analisis wacana kritis mampu membongkar struktur teks sehingga elemen tekstualdapat dilacak secara maksimal.The literary work has a double standard that is textually literary work is a discourse whose aesthetic and contextual dimensions of literary works is a portrait meniatur social structure of human culture and all the trinkets . The results of the study that the short story collection Senja dan Cinta yang Berdarah by Seno Gumira Ajidarmahas character in the writing of short stories such as background, detail, intentions, presuppositions, and nominalizations varied. Wording used figure of speech can make the reader enjoy every literary work. The story raised the events that have occurred in society. Conclusions textual elements in the text of the short story collection Senja dan Cinta yang Berdarah by Seno Gumira Ajidarma, among others: the text on the short story describing events that exist in the community, with the study of semantics is emphasized as background, detail, intentions, presuppositions, and nominalization. In the selection of words, the authors use a figure of speech that is able to attract readers to explore the contents and desired goals authors. Context in the form of social cognition and social analysis has a characteristic on each short story that raised the times are more practical. Suggestions in this study that Critical Discourse Analysis on the short story Senja dan Cinta yang Berdarahby SenoGumira Ajidarma able to dismantle the structure of the text with merenik so textual elements can be traced to the fullest .

Abstract

Masyarakat Kota Pekalongan merupakan multietnis dan multibahasa. Pemilihan bahasa dalam masyarakat multibahasa diperlukan agar komunikasi berjalan lancar sesuai dengan tujuan. Pemilihan bahasa pada masyarakat multibahasa dapat berupa akomodasi bahasa. Proses akomodasi bahasa dilakukan dengan tujuan untuk menentukan bahasa mana yang sesuai digunakan pada peristiwa tutur dalam ranah perdagangan. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah mendeskripsikan wujud pilihan bahasa, pola akomodasi bahasa, faktor penyebab akomodasi bahasa, dan fungsi sosial akomodasi bahasa pada masyarakat Kota Pekalongan etnis Jawa–Tionghoa–Arab dalam ranah perdagangan. Data dikumpulkan dengan metode simak dan teknik sadap sebagai teknik dasarnya. Kemudian diteruskan dengan teknik lanjutan berupa teknik simak libat cakap, teknik simak bebas libat cakap, teknik rekam, dan teknik catat. Analisis data dilakukan dengan metode etnografi. Wujud pilihan bahasa yang digunakan oleh masyarakat Kota Pekalongan etnis Jawa–Tionghoa–Arab dalam ranah perdagangan meliputi tunggal bahasa, alih kode, dan campur kode. Pola akomodasi bahasa yang dilakukan etnis Jawa–divergensi, Tionghoa–konvergensi dan Arab–konvergensi. Faktor penyebab terjadinya akomodasi bahasa masyarakat Kota Pekalongan etnis Jawa–Tionghoa–Arab dalam ranah perdagangan adalah status sosial, jarak sosial, usia, dan tujuan tuturan. Fungsi sosial akomodasi bahasa masyarakat Kota Pekalongan etnis Jawa–Tionghoa–Arab dalam ranah perdagangan adalah fungsi representasi, referensi, heuristik, interaksi, regulasi, instrumental, dan personal..Pekalongan has multi-ethnics and multi-languages society. Selection of the language in a multilingual society is needed in order to run in accordance with the purpose of communication. The language selection can be in a form of multilingual community language accommodation. Language accommodation process is conducted in order to determine where the appropriate language is used in speech events in commercial context.The purpose of this study were to describe the form of language selection, to describe the pattern of language accommodation, to describe the causes of language accommodation, and to describe the social function of language accommodation in the Commercial Sphere of Javanese-Chinese-Arabic Ethnics Community in Pekalongan.The data were collected by using observation method by applying the technique of tapping as the basic technique. Then continued with advanced techniques such as observe-involve-participate, free observe-involve-participate, recording techniques, and taking notes. The data were analyzed by using ethnographic methods.The results of this study were the form of language selection in the commercial sphere of Javanese-Chinese-Arabic Ethnics Community in Pekalongan are single language, code switching and code-mixing. The pattern of language accommodation are divergence and convergence. The factors causing language accommodation in the community are a social status, social distance, age, and purpose of the speech. The social function of language accommodation in the commercial sphere of Javanese-Chinese-Arabic Ethnics Community in Pekalongan are representational function, referential, heuristics, interactional, regulation, instrumental, and personal.

Abstract

Latar belakang penelitian ini mengkaji tentang “Pandangan Dunia Pengarang dan Konteks Sosial Novel Rumah Tanpa Jendela Karya Asma Nadia”. Adapun hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: (1) latar belakang kehidupan sosial budaya masyarakat dalam novel RTJ ialah adanya dua kelompok masyarakat yaitu kelompok masyarakat miskin dan masyarakat kaya, pendidikan mahal dan tidak terjangkau, kehidupan religius, budaya pernikahan yang diatur orang tua, kekerasan terhadap anak-anak, anak berkebutuhan khusus, sikap moral dan amoral masyarakat serta anak band tanpa napza, (2) pandangan dunia pengarang bahwa kemiskinan adalah ujian, meskipun hidup dalam deraan kemiskinan prinsip hidup yang baik harus tetap dipertahankan, (3) konteks sosial pandangan dunia pengarang, novel RTJ merupakan gambaran dari masyarakat Jakarta dan bangsa Indonesia. Pembaca dalam memaknai isi novel, disarankan mengambil hal-hal positif yang patut dijadikan pedoman dalam menjalani kehidupan. Bagi pendidik, persoalan-persoalan sosial dalam novel RTJ sangat baik untuk dijadikan bahan pembelajaran.This study discuss about “Novel Rumah Tanpa Jendela written by Asma Nadia: A review of sociology of literature”. The result of this study shows that: (1) the background of social and cultural life of society in the novel RTJ is the existence of two groups of people, namely the poor and the rich one, social and cultural life of the poor and the rich, education is unriecheable,  expensive and halfwau school,  the rules of religious life, culture of arranged marriage of parents, violence against children, education for children with special needs, a moral and unmoral attitude of society and group of band without drugs, (2) point of view of the author that poverty is a test, although living in poverty flogging a good life principle must be maintained, (3) the class of people who represented the author is of the lower class ir poor people. The general public in defining the content of novel, suggested taking the positive things thar should be a guide in life. For educators, the social problems in novel RTJ are excellent for learning materials.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mendeskripsikan dan menjelaskan bentuk kebahasaaan tuturan ritual natoni adat masyarakat etnis Timor, fungsi kebahasaan tuturan ritual natoni adat masyarakat etnis Timor dan makna budaya kebahasaan tuturan ritual natoni adat masyarakat etnis Timor. Pendekatan dalam penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan teori lingusistik kebudayaan. Teknik pengumpulan datamenggunakanteknik simak dan wawancara. Teknik analisis data dilakukan dengan menggunakan model interaktif dielektif. Hasil penelitian ditemukan berbagai bentuk kebahasaan, mencakup : bentuk kata, bentuk frasa, bentuk kalimat, bentuk wacana; fungsi kebahasaan, mencakup: fungsi informasional, fungsi ekspresif, fungsi direktif, fungsi estetis, fungsi fatik; dan makna budaya kebahasaan yang terdapat dalam tuturan ritual natoni adat masyarakat etnis Timor dalam penyambutan tamu di sekolah.The purpose of this study is to describe and explain the ritual forms of speech kebahasaaan natoni Timor indigenous ethnic communities, linguistic utterances ritual function natoni etnis Timor indigenous communities and the cultural meaning of linguistic utterances natoni ritual indigenous ethnic communities Timor. The approach in this study using the approach of linguistic theory of culture. Data collection technique used see and interview techniques. In doing techniques refer, applied recording technique as the basic technique. Then proceed with the advanced technique in the form of free refer techniques involved capably, recording technique, and the technique of record. Furthermore, the technique of structured and unstructured interviews. Mechanical analysis of data using interactive models dielektif. The research found various forms of language, include: word a form, phrase form, form of sentences, form discourses, linguistic functions, include: informational function, expressive function, directive function, aesthetic function, phatic function; linguistic and cultural meaning contained in ritual speech natoni indigenous ethnic communities in welcoming guests at the school.

Abstract

Novel serial Anak-anak Mamak karya Tere Liye dapat dijadikan acuan dalam pemahaman dunia anak, khususnya pada kepribadian dan emosi. Adanya kepribadian dan emosi yang dihadirkan setiap anak membuat topik ini menarik untuk diteliti. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan dan memaparkan tokoh utama, struktur kepribadian, struktur emosi, keterkaitan struktur kepribadian dan emosi tokoh utama, dan faktor kedua struktur. Pendekatan dalam penelitian ini adalah pendekatan psikologi sastra. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan secara pembacaan semiotik tingkat pertama yaitu heuristik. Teknik analisis data dilakukan secara pembacaan hermeneutik. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan tokoh utama keempat novel adalah Burlian, Pukat, Eliana, dan Amelia. Eliana didominasi tiga struktur kepribadian. Tokoh Burlian didominasi struktur emosi berupa ingin tahu, Pukat berupa gembira, Eliana berupa amarah, sedangkan Amelia berupa gembira dan sedih. Tokoh Eliana didominasi struktur yang berkaitan antara kepribadian dan emosi. Kepribadian tokoh Eliana terbentuk karena faktor endogen dan lingkungan, sedangkan faktor emosi tokoh Eliana karena adanya perasaan yang dirasakan dan adanya perubahan dalam tingkah laku.Anak-anak Mamak serial Novel by Tere Liye can be used as reference in understanding the world of children, particularly on personality and emotion. Their personalities and emotions that are presented by each child make this topic interesting to be studied. The purpose of this research are, to describe and explain the main character, the personality structure of the main character, the emotional structure of the main character, the relationship between the personality and the emotional structure of the main character, and the second factors structure. The approach used in this study is the approach of literary psychology. The data was collected in a semiotic reading of the first level of heuristics. Technique of data analysis was done through the hermeneutics reading. The conclusion of this study is the main characters of the four novels are Burlian, Pukat, Eliana, and Amelia. Eliana was dominated by three personality structures. Burlian figure was dominated by the structure of emotions such as curiosity, Pukat figure is dominated by the structure of personality in the form of happiness, personality structure in Eliana figure was in the form of anger, while Amelia was in the form joy and sadness. The Eliana figure was dominated by structures which link between personality and emotions. Eliana characters' personalities formed due to endogenous and environmental factors, while the emotional factors in Eliana figure appeared for her feelings felt and the change in behavior.

Abstract

Pembelajaran BIPA merepresentasikan masyarakat dwibahasa. Kondisi tersebut diasumsikan memunculkan pilihan bahasa dalam interaksi pembelajaran. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah mendeskripsikan wujud pilihan bahasa, pola pemilihan bahasa, dan faktor-faktor yang memengaruhi pilihan bahasa dan alasan pengajar serta pembelajar menggunakan pilihan bahasa dalam interaksi pembelajaran BIPA. Data dikumpulkan dengan metode simak dilanjutkan menggunakan teknik simak bebas libat cakap, rekam, dan catat. Analisis data dilakukan dengan metode padan menggunakan teknik pilah unsur penentu. Dalam interaksi pembelajaran BIPA terdapat pilihan bahasa berupa 1) variasi tunggal bahasa meliputi Bahasa Indonesia ragam formal dan nonformal, serta bahasa Inggris; 2) alih kode; dan 3) campur kode. Pola pemilihan bahasa dilihat berdasarkan tingkat pembelajaran dan proses terjadinya interaksi. Ditemukan pola peralihan situasional dan metaforik dalam wujud pilihan bahasa. Pilihan bahasa dipengaruhi oleh faktor internal dan eksternal. Faktor internal berupa latar belakang bahasa penutur, sedangkan faktor eksternal berupa situasi, topik percakapan, dan maksud/tujuan tuturan. Adanya tiga wujud pilihan bahasa yakni variasi tunggal bahasa, alih kode, dan campur kode selaras dengan tingkat/jenjang pembelajaran BIPA.Indonesian Language Learning for Foreign Speakers (BIPA) represents a bilingual society. Such condition was assumed to create language choice in the interaction of BIPA. This study was aimed to describe instances, patterns, and factors of languange choice that shape the language choice itself and the teachers and learners’ motives in using language choice during the interaction of BIPA. The data were collected via observation method and other advanced techniques such as uninvolved conversation observation technique, recording, and writing. Furthermore, the data were analyzed using comparative method and determinant-sorting technique. The instances of language choice which were found in the interaction of BIPA are 1) intra-language variation within Indonesian language i.e. formal and informal Indonesian, and English; 2) code switching; and 3) code mixing. The patterns of language choice were observed according to the levels of learning and the process of interaction. There were two patterns which were found such as situational and metaphorical switching. The factors that influenced the language choice are internal factor within the background of the learners’ language, and external factors within situation, topic of conversation, and purpose of speech. The kind of language choice was relevant with the levels of BIPA.

Abstract

Dalam penelitian ini dibahas dimensi tekstual, praktik kewacanaan, dan dimensi sosiokultural pemberitaan di Harian Suara Merdeka, Harian Republika, Harian Kompas, dan Tabloid Derap Guru dalam membentuk citra guru. Pendekatan metodologis yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah deskriptif kualitatif, sedangkan pendekatan teoretis Analisis Wacana Kritis (AWK) Norman Fairclough. Berdasarkan analisis data, diperoleh hasil sebagai berikut. Pertama, Wujud citra guru di Harian Suara Merdeka cenderung positif dengan persentase 66,67%. Harian Republika juga condong ke pembentukan citra positif dengan persentase 60%. Adapun Harian Kompas 100% condong ke citra negatif bagi guru. Sebaliknya, Tabloid Derap Guru 100% mengarah ke pembentukan citra positif. Kedua, citra positif dan negatif tersebut ditentukan oleh praktik wacana yang terdapat di media massa yang bersangkutan. Ketiga, teks yang diproduksi media dipengaruhi oleh teks, praktik wacana, dan praktik sosiokultural.According to the study results, firstly, it was revealed how mass media constructed the image of teacher based on textual analysis through representation stage. Suara Merdeka daily news tended to shape positive image with the percentage of 66,67% compared to negative image of 33,33%. Republika daily news also had the same trend to shape positive image of teacher with the percentage of 60% and 40% of negative image. In addition, Kompas daily news had a tendency to shape a 100% negative image of teacher while Derap Guru tabloid had a 100% positive image. The percentage and the direction of the image of teacher was in accordance with the data collected from November 2015 to January 2016. Secondly, the analysis of the discourse practice was focused on production and consumption of text. Suara Merdeka, Republika, and Kompas daily news including Derap Guru Tabloid seemed to have certain considerations to select issues to be presented to the readers every day. Text production is closely linked to the ideology of the journalist and the enterprise. Derap Guru tabloid mostly wrote reports about teacher from PGRI view point. Meanwhile, SuaraMerdeka gave larger portion at various news about teacher. However, Republika and Kompas as a national daily news did not report teacher in detail. At the stage of text consumption, informants mostly delivered positive response to news about teacher at that daily news and tabloid. Thirdly, sociocultural practice dimension was analyzed on three levels; they are (1) situational, (2) institutional, (3) and social.
