Kata Muwazah berasal dari bahasa Arab yaitu (??????) yang memiliki arti kesetaraan. Jurnal ini fokus pada isu-isu aktual dan kontemporer yang berkaitan dengan kajian gender lokalitas dalam berbagai perspektif. Redaksi mengundang para ilmuwan, sarjana, professional, praktisi dan peneliti dalam berbagai disiplin ilmu yang konsern terhadap kajian gender berupa analisis, aplikasi teori, hasil penelitian, terjemahan, resensi buku, literature review untuk mempublikasikan hasil karya ilmiahnya setelah melalui mekanisme seleksi naskah, telaah mitra bebestari, dan proses penyuntingan. Jurnal ini terbit setahun dua kali setiap bulan Juni dan Desember.

Abstract

This article is an observation for nearly four years in the land of the mullahs (Iran) as a country whose population is almost 80% are followers of Shia school, while the most prominent characteristics of the school is getting married mut’ah ‘. Among the ordinary people of Iran, the term is rarely used and tend mut’ah unpopular. They are more familiar with the term ‘sîgheh’. Mut’ah marriage is now rarely carried out by the Iranian society, even in the city itself as a city of Qom is the beginning of the Iranian revolution. They consider marriage mut’ah as part of the past and now no longer regarded as the Shiite tradition, but only as a scientific discourse alone

Abstract

Gender inequality not only shows up in the legal, social or purely political, but also gender discrimination in the field of human language which can automatically give birth to living systems which tend to marginalization of women. Gender inequality is in the field of linguistics partly contained in, the assumption of women’s language, mastery of the language gap between men and women, texts and language learning systems, and poor language skills and logic.

Abstract

Feminism and gender is basically a simple concept where women just want to get justice in all matters, especially education, not to exceed man and nature. Because it gives the concept of gender-feminist groups depart from the differences of men and women that is due to be formed by the social differences are not judged by the natural aspect. The term feminism and gender with various forms of the concept and its implementation in conducting a lawsuit over the values subbordinasi women did not exist in Islam, because Islam itself does not distinguish the position of a person based on gender and gender bias does not exist in Islam. Islam put men and women in the same position and the same glory.

Abstract

A valid marriage will bear the consequences of the rights and obligations of husband and wife. If each couple meet and fulfill what the obligations of each, are expected home will easily reach what is often presented as households that sakinah, mawaddah wa mercy. Nushuz is an attitude of ignoring the rights and obligations that each spouse feels aggrieved and persecuted. From the teachings of Islam has been anticipated by the various instructions and teachings for it not increasingly protracted. However, the conception nushuz sebagin understood by those impressed gender biased because it puts the woman or wife as the party that 'the accused'. Such a perspective is of course harm and discredit the position of women, so that a new perspective needs to be introduced in order to create gender relations of husband and wife are equal, just and humane

The process of empowerment of women involves several components but the most responsible and the key is the women themselves. Abstract

This descriptive qualitative study aimed to know the model of empowerment of women by the KWSU Setia Budi Wanita Malang and success empowerment model conducted by the Cooperative. The research source was collected both primary and secondary acquired through in-depth interviews, documentation and observation. Research results show that, the model Women's Empowerment KWSU Setia Budi Wanita Malang is accountability group system model string. The success of the empowerment model KWSU Setia Budi Wanita Malang is located on the board, management, programs, builder, and the group itself. They understand very well about the rules of the cooperative and its execution, each job description is not related in a personal, participatory management and programs to suit the needs of society and of the spirit of behavior change.

Abstract

Abstract : There are two opposite opinions about the permissibility of women in politics. One opinion states that women should be at home, devoted to her husband, just have a domestic role, and should not be involved in politics. Another opinion states that women have the freedom to play, both inside and outside the home as well as in politics. This happens because they don’t understand the concept of women's rights that purely political, as well as in understanding the text verse Al-Qur`an is still gender bias. The differences of those opinions related to the differences in understanding the Islamic sources especially the verses of the Al-Qur`an about politics. This paper discusses political rights of women in Islam, so that people can understand and not considered taboo against women who were involved in politics. Based on the identification, classification, and analysis of the texts of the Al-Qur'an and hadith about politics, found that women in politics have the right according to Islam. Men and women are obliged to enjoining good and forbidding evil through several ways including the political media. Islam does not distinguish between men and women in individual rights and social rights especially political rights. However, it was noted that all rights must be placed within the limits of natural as women.       Abstrak : Terjadi dua pendapat yang berseberangan tentang kebolehan perempuan berpolitik.  Satu pendapat menyatakan perempuan harus di dalam rumah, mengabdi kepada suami, dan hanya mempunyai peran domestik dan tidak boleh berpolitik. Pendapat  lain menyatakan perempuan mempunyai kemerdekaan untuk berperan, baik di dalam maupun di luar rumah demikian juga dalam bidang politik. Hal tersebut terjadi karena belum difahaminya konsep tentang hak politik perempuan secara murni, juga karena dalam memahami teks ayat al-Qur`an masih bias gender. Perbedaan pandangan tersebut terkait dengan perbedaan dalam memahami sumber-sumber ajaran Islam  terutama ayat al-Qur`an yang berbicara tentang politik. Makalah ini  membahas  bagaimana sebenarnya hak politik perempuan dalam Islam, sehingga masyarakat dapat memahami dan tidak menganggap tabu terhadap perempuan yang terjun di dunia politik. Berdasarkan  identifikasi dan klasifikasi serta analisis  nash-nash dari  al-Qur’an dan hadis tentang politik dalam al-Qur`an, ditemukan bahwa perempuan mempunyai hak dalam berpolitik menurut Islam. Laki-laki dan perempuan berkewajiban untuk amar makrûf nahî munkar melalui beberapa cara termasuk diantaranya dengan media politik. Islam tidak membedakan laki-laki dan perempuan dalam hak-hak individu dan hak-hak kemasyarakatan utamanya hak politik. Namun demikian, yang perlu dicatat adalah semua hak tersebut harus diletakkan dalam batas-batas kodrati sebagai perempuan.
