Abstract

Instilling Monotheistic Values in Learning Arabic. Arabic Language Education Study Program, Faculty of Tarbiyah and Teacher Training, UIN North Sumatra Medan. This study discusses instilling the values of monotheism in learning Arabic. The problem studied is what are the monotheistic values instilled in learning Arabic. This study aims to find out how students change in learning after the inculcation of monotheistic values is included in learning. This study uses library research methods, namely searching for data, collecting data and analyzing data. The results of this study indicate that there are several ways to instill the value of monotheism in learning Arabic. The reason why it is necessary to instill the value of monotheism in learning Arabic is so that students are not only experts in the cognitive field, but so that students understand that everything in this world must have something to do with Allah SWT, especially in the field of education. And also so that students have good morals and manners in their daily lives.

Abstract

A common problem that occurs in education is the failure to achieve educational goals. The problem also occurs in Arabic language learning caused by the lack of utilization and lack of improvisation of strategies in the learning carried out. The existing strategy seems menoton and results in a lack of student interest in Arabic.  For this reason, there is a need for strategies in learning to increase the learning drive so that it can improve cognitive and intellectual abilities. The aspect of monotheism is belief in god without associating it. This principle became the main purpose of the teachings under the Prophet Muhammad SAW. This study aims to find out methods and strategies in Tawhid-based Arabic language learning. The results of the research conducted show that there is a need for a special strategy in instilling the value of tawhid through Arabic language learning. This is an effort to provide an understanding that everything in this world is related to Allah SWT, including in the field of education. And so that students can have good morals and civility in everyday life because they always feel watched by God the creator.

Abstract

This observation aims to carry out studies on aspects related to science and technology based on the perspective of the Koran, including positive and negative impacts on life. Researchers used a qualitative descriptive approach using library research (library research). Researchers carried out data collection techniques with information analysis techniques using inductive and deductive analysis and documentation. The study results obtained data if science and technology are based on the point of view of the pure Qur'an because they are still needed in human activities; therefore, they must be upheld and provide a lot of relief for living things. However, in practice, it should be considered more carefully. This is also related to the positive and negative impacts that arise, so appropriate wisdom is needed so as not to cause harm to others in living life.

Abstract

Nilai-nilai pendidikan sosial dewasa ini tidak lagi mencerminkan indahnya nilai yang telah diajarkan Al-Qur’an, hal ini dapat dilihat dari banyaknya tindakan-tindakan yang melanggar nilai-nilai sosial contoh yang paling nyata adalah mengejek atau memperolok orang lain dan masih banyak contoh lainnya dan mirisnya hal seperti ini dianggap menjadi suatu hal yang biasa saja bahkan menjadi tren kekinian di media sosial. Melihat begitu gentingnya masalah yang terkait tentang pendidikan sosial ini, penulis merasa penelitian tentang pendidikan sosial akan membahas sedemikian rupa mengenai topik ini dengan memfokuskan pendidikan sosial yang tentunya berlandaskan Al-Qur’an. Artinya permasalahan yang akan penulis bahas mencakup pendidikan sosial dalam Al-Qur’an dengan mencantumkan beberapa ayat Al-Qur’an terkait dengan pembahasan ini begitu pula penafsiran dari ayat tersebut dengan harapan untuk memperbaiki sistem kehidupan sosial kita berdasarkan apa yang telah termaktub di Al-Qur’an, namun karena keterbatasan penulis dalam mengkaji ayat Al-Qur’an yang berkaitan dengan pendidikan sosial maka ayat yang akan penulis bahas adalah QS. Al-Hujarat ayat 11-13 dan QS. Ali Imran ayat 112. Dengan menggunakan metodologi penelitian berbasis kepustakaan (library research) penulis mendapatkan hasil penelitian bahwasanya nilai pendidikan sosial yang terkandung dalam Al-Qur’an khususnya kedua surah tersebut bahwa dalam kehidupan bersosial seseorang dianjurkan untuk memiliki sikap toleransi, tidak mengolok-olok dan mengejek orang lain, tidak berburuk sangka dan tidak mencari kesalahan-kesalahan orang lain serta menjaga hubungan kepada Allah dan sesama manusia, dengan demikian nilai-nilai inilah yang nantinya diterapkan dalam pelaksanaan pendidikan sosial.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui seberapa besar pengaruh metode Contextual Teaching And Learning (CTL) terhadap hasil belajar Fiqih kelas VIII di MTs Al-Islamiyah AMZ Depok. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan metode quasi eksperimen. Sampel berjumlah 32 untuk kelas kontrol dan 30 untuk kelas eksperimen. Data diperoleh melalui observasi, tes dan dokumentasi. Data dianalisis dengan menggunakan bantuan SPSS 22. Hasil analisis diperoleh bukti empiris yang menunjukkan bahwa terdapat perbedaan hasil belajar pada kelas eksperimen dan kelas kontrol. Hasil uji hipotesis dengan Independent sample t test didapat t hitung sebesar 0,807 dengan jumlah sampel 62 didapat df 60, maka dihasilkan t tabel sebesar 1,671 dengan demikian t hitung 0,807 < dari t tabel 1,671. nilai p sebesar 0,423 > 0,05. Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini tidak terdapat pengaruh signifikan antara pendekatan kontekstual terhadap hasil belajar pembelajaran Fiqih di MTs. Al-Islamiyah AMZ Depok.

Abstract

This paper tries to see why in post-reform Indonesia, right-wing populist groups strengthened using the knife of analysis from Robert Kuttner in his book entitled Can Democracy Survive Global Capitalism. Robert Kuttner mentions 5 factors causing the rise of right-wing populism. First, there is a process of convergence between the development of capitalism and the strengthening of democratic politics. Second, there was a significant political shift. The third is the phenomenon of undemocratic globalization. Fourth, it is the implication of the third factor which greatly influences political spaces. Fifth, there is socio-political vulnerability.

Abstract

Tafsir Al-Manar is an interpretation that marks the world of modern interpretation, which was written by Muhammad Rasyid Ridha from the teachings of his teacher, Muhammad Abduh.  The interpretation is of the Tafsir bi al-Rayi type with the Tahlili interpretation method and the pattern Al-Adabi wa al-Ijtimai.  The novelty of this interpretation lies in its style, which focuses on social issues.  Therefore, every style of Al-Adabi wa al-Ijtimai must be different according to the time, place and social problems it faces.  The problem discussed in this study is how the idea of the pattern of Al-Adabi wa al-Ijtimai and the social issues contained therein. This research paradigm uses a descriptive qualitative approach with descriptive and deductive methods.  The data source used is the interpretation of Al-Manar by Muhammad Abduh and Muhammad Rasyid Ridha, by analyzing the biographies of both of them as well as the social issues alluded to in the interpretation of Al-Manar.  The results found, that the idea was motivated by the decline of Muslims and influenced by the empiricism of Muhammad Abduh and Muhammad Rasyid Ridha.  Meanwhile, from the social issues contained in Al-Manar's interpretation, all of them refer to the optimization of reason as a source of knowledge.
