Abstract

ABSTRAK   Pneumonia merupakan pembunuh utama balita di dunia yang kurang mendapat perhatian bahkan terlupakan (“the forgotten killer”). Cakupan angka penemuan pneumonia balita di Indonesia tahun 2014 masih belum mencapai target yaitu 29,74% (target 80%). Rendahnya cakupan penemuan pneumonia balita disebabkan antara lain karena deteksi kasus oleh bidan sebagai pemberi pelayanan balita sakit di puskesmas masih rendah. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui faktor – faktor yang berhubungan dengan praktik penemuan pneumonia balita oleh bidan di puskesmas wilayah Kabupaten Pemalang. Metode penelitian ini berjenis explanatory research, menggunakan pendekatan cross sectional, dengan populasi penelitian adalah bidan yang bertugas di ruang rawat jalan KIA puskesmas di Kabupaten Pemalang berjumlah 242 orang. Teknik sampling secara purposive didapat 44 responden. Analisis data secara univariat dan bivariat dengan uji chi square. Hasil penelitian didapatkan faktor yang berhubungan dengan praktik penemuan pneumonia oleh bidan adalah pengetahuan (p=0,000), tugas rangkap (p=0,019), lama memegang program (p=0,007) dan dukungan kepala puskemas (p=0,000). Faktor yang tidak berhubungan adalah umur (p=1,000), sikap (p=0,773), ketersediaan fasilitas (p=0,117) dan dukungan mitra kerja (p=1,000).   ABSTRACT                  Pneumonia is the main killer of children under five in the world who received less attention even forgotten ("the forgotten killer"). Coverage under five pneumonia detection rate in Indonesia in 2014 has yet to reach the target of 29.74% (target 80%). The low coverage of infant pneumonia is caused partly because the detection of cases by midwives as the service provider sick children in health centers is still low. This study aimed to identify factors related to the practice of the invention toddler pneumonia by midwives in health centers Pemalang district. This research method was explanatory research using cross sectional approach, the study population are midwife who served in the room KIA clinics in Pemalang amounted to 242 people. Purposive sampling technique obtained 44 respondents. Data analysis of univariate and bivariate with chi square test. The result showed that factors associated with the practice of the invention of pneumonia by midwives are knowledge (p = 0.000), double duty (p = 0.019), long held the program (p = 0.007) and the head support health centers (p = 0.000). Factors unrelated are age (p = 1.000), attitude (p = 0.773), the availability of facilities (p = 0.117) and the support of partners (p = 1.000).

Abstract

Abstrak   Pemakaian mesin sebagai alat kerja dan mekanisasi dalam industri dapat menimbulkan kebisingan ditempat kerja. Kebisingan dapat mempengaruhi pekerja. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh kebisingan mesin pengolahan emas (tromol) terhadap stres kerja pada pekerja di pertambangan emas di Desa Dunggilata Kecamatan Bulawa Kabupaten Bone Bolango. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian survei analitik dengan pendekatan cross-sectional. Data yang diperoleh dianalisis dengan menggunakan uji statistik korelasi Pearson Product Moment. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan, ada hubungan antara kebisingan pada mesin pengolahan emas tromol terhadap stres kerja pada pekerja (p = 0,01)   Abstract   The use of the machine in industries may cause noise in workplace which could affect workers. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of gold-processing drum-machine noise to occupational stress on gold mining workers in the Dunggilata Village, Bulawa Sub-district, Bone Bolango Regency. This was analytic survey with cross-sectional approach. The data were analyzed using Pearson Product Moment Test. The results showed that there was a correlation between noise of gold-processing drum-machine and occupational stress on workers (p=0.01

Abstract

Background: Occupational health and safety was a thought and effort to ensure the integrity and perfection of both body and spirit. PT Katingan Indah Utama was a company Domestic Investment (DCI), which was engaged in oil palm plantations and management. Problems on PT. Katingan Indah Utama was the implementation of occupational safety and health that had basically been performed well but not maximum, especially in the use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) for workers at the production line. This study aimed at identifying the relationship between knowledge, attitude and motivation with the behavior of using self- protective equipment at production workers in PT. Katingan Indah Utama, Kotawaringin Timur, Central Kalimantan province.Methods: This was an observational analytic study with cross sectional approach. The sample of this study was all production workers of PT. Katingan Indah Utama, in the amount of 70 workers. Analysis of data used univariate, bivariat with statistical test of Chi-Square and multivariate analysis with logistics regression.Results: The results of the study showed no correlation between knowledge (p = 0.004) and the behavior of the use of self-protective equipment, there was a relationship between attitudes (p = 0.031) and the behavior of the use of self-protective equipment and there was a relationship between motivation (p = 0.022) and the behavior of using self- protective equipment. Multivariate analysis showed that variable of knowledge was the dominant variable related to the behavior of of self-protective equipment at the production workers of PT . Katingan Indah Utama with p value ( 0.002). Conclusion: There was a correlation relationship between knowledge, attitude and motivation with the behavior of using self-protective equipment at the production workers of PT. Katingan Indah Utama, East Kotawaringin, Central Kalimantan Province and variable of knowledge was the dominant variable related to the behavior of of self-protective equipment at the production workers of PT . Katingan Indah Utama, East Kotawaringin, Central Kalimantan Province.

Abstract

Surgery that causes severe pain physiological response as compared to a normal delivery was called sectio caesarea. The alternative to reduce pain with bitter orange aroma therapy. Bitter orange aroma therapy is to give the effect of reducing the muscle tensions and stress the body as a whole with the goal of keeping the body and mind into a relaxed. This research was aimed to explore the effectiveness of bitter orange aroma therapy for reduction pain in post partum sectio caesarea. The method used this research was quasi experimental with pre test and post test design with control group. The instruments used numeric rating scale to measure pain intensity. The sampling technique used purposive sampling where the quantity of research sample 34 respondents which are divided into 2 groups, namely intervention group and control group. bitter orange aroma therapy carried out for 15 minutes each day for 2 days. The univariate analysis was conducted to show pain distribution and bivariate analysis was conducted by Wicoxon and Mann Whitney. The result show that after bitter orange aroma therapy was applied towards intervered group, it was obtained that mean of respondents category pain was reducing at 3,44 (low pain) with the reduction was 1,47 and mean of post partum sectio caesarea pain without given bitter orange aroma therapy in control group was 4,82 (moderate pain) with the reduction was 0. The statistic showed up p value (0,000)< 0,05 which mean that kneading techniques effective to reduce pain of post partum sectio caesarea. Based on the result, bitter orange aroma therapy can be recommended as nursing intervention of post partum sectio caesarea.

Abstract

Health surveillance officers of dengue hemorrhagic fever (DHF) was one of DHF prevention and control programs Semarang City. The aim of this research was to know the effectiveness of DHF surveillance officers to determine larvae-absence rate in Semarang City. This research was quantitative supported by qualitative study with descriptive survey design. Samples in this research were 57 DHF health surveillance officers determined by cluster sampling technique and 3 of them as informants to complete the quantitative data. Techniques of collecting data were interviews and documentation. Data analysis was done descriptively by determining the effectiveness formula and using Miles and Hubberman model for qualitative data. The study showed that DHF health surveillance officers in Semarang City has been effective. It showed from effectiveness result score of each component compared with the percentage table of program effectiveness that input aspect was effective (71%), process aspect was very effective (92%), and output aspect was effective (77%), even though there were still obstacles in each aspect.

Abstract

Abstrak   Demam Berdarah Dengue (DBD) sering menimbulkan wabah dan kematian. Kasus DBD di Kabupaten Demak selalu meningkat dan 75% wilayah di Demak endemis DBD. Demak Kota adalah salah satu kecamatan endemis DBD dengan CFR tertinggi. Pemerintah telah melakukan berbagai upaya, namun belum optimal. Pemberdayaan masyarakat dengan mengaktifkan kembali potensi dan kearifan lokal masyarakat “Ronda Jentik” adalah bentuk inovasi pemberdayaan masyarakat dalam penanggulangan DBD. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian pengembangan dengan pendekatan kuantitatif dan kualitatif. Populasi seluruh rumah di RW 04 Kelurahan Mangunjiwan Kecamatan Demak sejumlah 126 rumah. Responden penelitian adalah ibu rumah tangga yang ditentukan dengan teknik cluster sampling. Hasil menunjukkan model “Ronda Jentik” relevan dengan permasalahan DBD, dapat menumbuhkan kebersamaan dalam pemberantasan sarang nyamuk, mudah, sesuai dengan budaya lokal, tidak membutuhkan banyak biaya, serta semua anggota masyarakat terlibat sebagai subjek pemantauan dan pemberantasan jentik. Hasil uji coba, model “Ronda Jentik” dapat meningkatkan praktik PSN dan meningkatkan jumlah rumah bebas jentik.   Abstract   Dengue Hemorrhagic Fever (DHF) is a diseasethat often causes epidemic and death. Dengue cases in the Demak Regency always increases and 75% of Demak areas are endemic. Demak Kota is one of endemic sub-districts with the highest CFR. The government has made various efforts, but did not work well. Empowerment by reactivating potential and local wisdom, “Ronda Jentik” is a form of innovation community empowerment in dengue prevention. This is a development research with quantitative and qualitative approach. The population was all houses (146 houses) in RW 04 in Mangunjiwan Village. The respondents were housewives which were taken by cluster sampling. The study states that the "Ronda Jentik" model was relevant to dengue problem, able to foster togetherness in mosquito eradication, easy, similiar to the local cultural, and does not require a lot of costs, and all community members could involve as the subject of larvae monitoring and eradication. "Ronda Jentik" model could improve practices of mosquito eradication and increase the amount of no-larvae houses.

Abstract

ABSTRAK Kegiatan radiologi selain dapat memberikan manfaat juga dapat menimbulkan bahaya bagi pekerja radiasi. Untuk mencegah hal tersebut dapat dilakukan dengan menerapkan aspek manajemen keselamatan radiasi. Penelitian ini bertujuan mengetahui gambaran penerapan manajemen keselamatan radiasi pada instalasi radiologi RSUD Ungaran. Jenis penelitian ini menggunakan metode diskriptif kuantitatif dengan teknik pengambilan data observasi dan wawancara. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan dari 5 variabel dengan 16 komponen terdiri dari 48 poin. Sebanyak 29 poin (60,42%) terpenuhi dan sesuai dengan standar/ peraturan. Sebanyak 10 poin (20,83%) terpenuhi tetapi belum sesuai dengan standar/peraturan. Sebanyak 9 poin (18,75%) tidak terpenuhi oleh instalasi radiologi RSUD Ungaran.     ABSTRACT The radiological activity not only brings benefits but also can damage radiologist. It can be prevented by implementing the aspects of radiation safety management. This study aimed to overview the implementation of radiation safety management in Ungaran Public Hospital radiology instalation. This research used quantitative descriptive method used observations, interviews with three informants, and documentation studies to collect data. The results of this study indicated from 5 variables (16 components consist of 48 ​​points. As much 29 points (60,42%) were fulfilled based on the standards. A total of 10 points (20,83%) were fulfilled but not based on the standards. A total of 9 points (18,75%) were not fulfilled.

Abstract

Almost 65% of high blood pressure cases in old women is caused by estrogen deficiency, while 35% can be influenced by lifestyle factors and other factors. This study aimed to analyze lifestyle factors on hypertension at the age of menopause in Tlogosari Wetan Public Health Center of Semarang City. As many as 50 people has used as respondent randomly by cross sectional design study. Analysis of the data in this study using univariate, bivariate using Spearman rank test, and multivariate analysis using logistic regression test. The results in this study are there was a significant relationship between physical activity, stress , fat intake, the intake of sodium (p<0,05) against hypertension at the age of menopause. The results of logistic regression showed that sodium intake have a higher level of risk to hypertension (0.021). It can be concluded that food choice, stress, and physical activity are the lifestyle factors that contribute significantly to the risk of hypertension in menopause women.

Abstract

Abstrak   Gedung F5 adalah gedung baru di Fakultas Ilmu Keolahragaan yang masih memiliki sarana keselamatan gedung yang sangat minim, dimana gedung ini memiliki potensi untuk terjadi kebakaran ataupun bencana alam lainnya. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah menghasilkan suatu rekomendasi sebagai upaya perbaikan dalam aspek keselamatan terhadap gedung baru F5 Universitas Negeri Semarang. Penelitian ini dengan menggunakan metode penelitian deskriptif komparatif. Hasil dari 103 poin yang dibahas, sebanyak 41 poin (39,8%) terpenuhi dan sesuai dengan standar/peraturan. Sebanyak 12 poin (11,7%) terpenuhi namun belum sesuai dengan standar/peraturan dan sebanyak 50 poin (48,5%) tidak terpenuhi. Saran untuk penelitian ini antara lain yaitu memasang instalasi alarm kebakaran, titik panggil manual, hidran, sprinkler, tanda pemasangan pada setiap APAR, dan memasang kembali check sheet yang hilang. Selain itu memasang pintu darurat, tangga darurat, pencahayaan darurat, memperbaiki penunjuk arah evakuasi darurat, menambah 1 area untuk titik berkumpul, menambah 1 akses untuk jalur keluar atau memperlebar jalur akses masuk tersebut menjadi minimal 4 dan ideal 5,5 meter dan melengkapi dengan cermin cembung setiap tikungan yang ada pada akses masuk gedung F5 sebanyak 3 unit.   Kata Kunci : Keselamatan, gedung, darurat.     Abstract F5 Building is a new building in the Faculty of Sport Science which still has very minimal building safety facilities.The purpose of this research is to produce a recommendation as an effort to improve the safety aspect of the new building of F5 State University of Semarang. This research used comparative descriptive research method and focus on 103 topic points of safety building. From observation and analysis, it resulted 41 points (39.8%) were met and in accordance with the standards / regulations. A total of 12 points (11.7%) are met but not in accordance with the standard / regulation and as many as 50 points (48.5%) are not met. Suggestions for this research include installing fire alarms, manual call points, hydrants, sprinklers, installation marks on each APAR, and reinstalling missing check sheets. In addition to installing emergency exits, emergency stairs, emergency lighting, fixing emergency evacuation directions, adding 1 area for the gathering point, adding 1 access to the exit or widening the access point to a minimum of 4 and ideal 5.5 meters and equipping with a convex mirror any bend that existed on the access entrance of F5 building.   Keywords: safety, building, emergency

Abstract

Pacaran dan perilaku seksual berkaitan erat satu sama lain. Pacaran akan menghadapkan remaja pada kondisi yang meningkatkan pengalaman seksual. Dilaporkan bahwa perilaku berciuman (48% remaja laki-laki, 30% remaja perempuan), petting (30% remaja laki-laki, 6% remaja perempuan). Tujuan penelitian untuk mengetahui hubungan komunikasi orangtua-remaja, pendidikan orangtua dengan perilaku seksual berisiko pada remaja Tahun 2015. Penelitian ini adalah observasional analitik dengan rancangan cross sectional. Besar sampel adalah 88 orang. Teknik sampling  adalah total sampling. Analisa data menggunakan chi square dan regresi logistik. Hasil penelitian didapatkan perilaku seksual remaja risiko rendah (91,2%), komunikasi orangtua-remaja baik (57,2%). Ada hubungan komunikasi orangtua-remaja dengan perilaku seksual berisiko (p=0,03), ada hubungan pendidikan orangtua dengan perilaku seksual berisiko (p=0,04). Simpulan penelitian ada hubungan komunikasi orangtua-remaja, pendidikan orangtua dengan perilaku seksual berisiko dan komunikasi orangtua-remaja merupakan variabel dominan berhubungan dengan perilaku seksual berisiko pada remaja.   Dating and sexual behaviors are closely related to one another. The aimed of research to determine the relationship parent-adolescent communication, education of parents with risky sexual behavior in adolescents Year 2015. This study was observational analytic with cross sectional design. The sample size are 88 people. Sampling technique was total sampling. Data were analyzed using chi square and logistic regression. The result showed a low risk of adolescent sexual behavior (91.2%), parent-adolescent communication is good (57.2%). There was a relathionship parent-adolescent communication with risky sexual behavior (p=0.03), there was relationship with the parent education risky sexual behavior (p=0.04). The conclusions of research there was a relationship parent-adolescent communication, education of parents with risky sexual behavior and parent-teenager communication is the dominant variable associated with risky sexual behavior in adolescents.
