Abstract

Nurse Call System, a system used by inpatients to call nurses if they need help. This system is very useful for patients with disabilities such as being unable to speak, unable to walk, and no family in the form of a telephone or a button attached to a wall. The weakness of the system with permanent position is mobility, for example when the patient is going to the bathroom and unwanted things happen, the patient will have difficulty asking for help. So, a wireless Nurse Call system is needed that can be carried wherever the patient goes so that the patient can call the nurse wherever needed. In this research, nurse call system was developed wirelessly via the ZigBee data communication and realtime notification using websocket protocol. The development stages were carried out: literature study and field observation, development of Zigbee push buttons and gateways, development of middleware to read data from gateways, development of dashboard and reporting application. The last stage of monitoring and evaluation is testing the system that has been made. Based on the test results performed the system can run well when the distance between the zigbee push button and the gateway is less than 15 meters and has a response time of less than 1634 milliseconds.

Abstract

3D animation is one of the applications of computer graphics. 3D animated films can be used as learning media to convey messages. In its implementations, there are still many 3D animated films that produce stiff and unrealistic movements. This is because there are deficiencies in the animation process. This problem is the background of this research. The goal to be achieved is to find the right method to produce animated movements that are not rigid so that they can convey the message well. The theme of this is islamic and mother love. The method used in the animating process is the keyframe method; method of making 3D animation that starts from one point to another until it becomes a unified visualization of object images. The design of 3D animation is done using blender software and is carried out in 8 stages, namely determining story design, storyboarding, character modeling, texturing, rigging, animating, rendering, and editing. This research produces a mp4 formatted 3D animated film with a duration of 90 seconds. The keyframing method is also proven to be effective and easy to apply to produce smooth animation movements if the interpolated value is reduced.

Abstract

Universities need to have a special strategy to capture the target prospective students. The variety of promotional media needs to be analyzed so that the media distribution is right on target. The number of new student admissions in each year of a college is influenced by the promotional actions that have been carried out. Data mining is a method for finding useful new information from a large amount of data collection and can help in making decisions. The analysis of promotion strategies grouped with the K-means algorithm is expected to be used by the promotion team in determining promotion strategies to get new prospective students in accordance with the promotion target. Promotional media that can be accessed in all provinces are the internet and leaflets/posters. For close-range media in promoting higher education, benefits can still be taken such as school visits, educational exhibitions, newspapers, billboards/banners. However, for provinces outside Yogyakarta, there are promotion strategies that can be relied upon, namely student recommendations and alumni recommendations

Abstract

This study aims to map sub-districts that are prone to criminal acts with data mining to group criminal data using k-means clustering, as well as visualize into a webgis-based criminal information system by displaying a map of the distribution of criminal data and the percentage of each sub-district. -district of the city of Dili. After carrying out a series of processes, it was found that the sub-district of dom aleixo which shows a very vulnerable status area with the type of crime of assault has a high percentage of total victims with a value of 49.6%, theft 19.6%, harassment 12%, prostitution 9.6%, murder 6.8% and finally drugs with a percentage of 2.4%.

Abstract

The number of sales transactions that occur every day makes the sales transaction data increase. Sales transaction data is only used as an archive for a store. Due to the large number of customer requests for goods, there is a shortage of goods. Shortage or stock of goods in a store/company will have a very bad impact on the success and sales of buying and selling transactions. To prevent this, a system is needed that can help to find out early about the availability of goods in the store. The method used in this research is the association rule method using a priori algorithm. The a priori algorithm is a data mining technique to find combinations of items in the database, the results of the research conducted, the a priori algorithm can make it easier to find patterns of combinations of items in the dataset. The information obtained can help decision makers to determine the priority of stock inventory.

Abstract

A business process is a structured collection of interrelated activities or work within an organization to produce a product or service. For the quality of products and services, of course, an effective and efficient business process is needed. So far, many business processes are still depicted in the form of still images in the form of flowcharts, because they do not know the notation called BPMN (Business Process Model and Notation) which can create images of business processes as well as model them in a simulation. By using BPMN, the most effective and efficient business processes can be simulated to produce organizational products or services. This research implements BPI (Business Process Improvement) with lean management method, and DMAIC framework (Define, Measure, Analysis, Improve, Control). DMAIC is used for gradual improvement of business processes. The tools used to assist DMAIC in this research include the SIPOC diagram (Supplier, Input, Process, Output, Customer), identification of CTQ (Critical to Quality), measuring process capability using DPMO (Defects Per Million Opportunities), root cause analysis, then simulated using the Bizagi Modeler tool. From research on STAI Attanwir's business processes, it was found that out of 46 business processes there were 15 that experienced waste. Of the 7 types of waste, at STAI Attanwir there are 2 wastes that occur, namely waiting waste and movement waste. Of the 15 As-Is and To-Be business processes that experienced waste, after a simulation using BPI, the results showed that 12 business processes experienced significant changes in terms of time and resources. However, there are 3 business processes whose utilization level remains abnormal even though improvements have been made.

Abstract

Accreditation activities aim to evaluate the quality and feasibility of an institution based on the data it has. The accreditation process requires supporting data sources from various documents and different databases, therefore requiring a system for a fast and efficient data collection and visualization process. One of the systems that can be used is a dashboard system and a data warehouse. In this study, the development and implementation of a data warehouse and dashboard system was carried out based on the guidelines for the Department Accreditation Instrument 4.0 (IAPS 4.0) from BAN-PT using the prototyping development method. From the implementation results, 38 quantitative indicators were obtained which can be visualized into the dashboard system. From the testing process using the requirements traceability matrix and functional testing, it was found that all test items successfully passed the test and this system can be used for the accreditation process based on IAPS 4.0 BAN-PT. With this system, it is hoped that the campus department can use it to carry out an independent evaluation process before or during the study program accreditation process.
