Abstract

Coronavirus disease (COVID-19) is a disease that disrupts the respiratory tract and infects many people. However, until now, there is still no cure. Therefore a robot service is proposed to minimize direct contact between nurses and patients who are equipped with PPE (Personal Protective Equipment). Robot Service is a robot carrying logistics for patients in the Isolation Room. The robot is expected to be able to help medical personnel work and reduce the risk of medical personnel being exposed to the virus while in the Isolation Room. This robot has a feature to rotate and move along the hospital hallway, using either automatic or normal mode. This robot is also equipped with an Omni infrared camera that can see the environmental conditions around the robot so that it can make it easier for operators to run this robot with a Wi-Fi communication system. Abstract

Document summarization is needed to get the information effectively and efficiently. One method used to obtain the document summarization by applying machine learning techniques. This paper proposes the application of regression models to query-focused multi-document summarization based on the significance of the sentence position. The method used is the Support Vector Regression (SVR) which estimates the weight of the sentence on a set of documents to be made as a summary based on sentence feature which has been defined previously. A series of evaluations performed on a data set of DUC 2005. From the test results obtained summary which has an average precision and recall values of 0.0580 and 0.0590 for measurements using ROUGE-2, ROUGE 0.0997 and 0.1019 for measurements using the proposed regression-SU4. Model can perform measurements of the significance of the position of the sentence in the document well.

Abstract

Penggunaan sistem informasi dan teknologi yang cepat dirasa cukup penting dalam membantu proses belajar mengajar. Oleh sebab itu, diusulkan penggunaan platform E-Learning untuk membantu guru. Fitur yang diajarkan diarahkan untuk dapat melakukan pemberian materi, tugas, ujian, kuisioner, dan organisasi kegiatan. Para pengajar dilatih mengimplementasikan aplikasi online, seperti google drive, google form, untuk mendukung kegiatan bahan ajar, dengan sasaran guru guru SMA Tuban, Jawa Timur, Indonesia. Peserta merasa terbantu dengan sistem ini dan berencana mengaplikasikan kedalam proses pengajaran. Dari hasil training, para peserta merasa antusias terhadap pelatihan ini, dimana mereka mampu membuat, dan mempraktekkan fitur fitur yang ada di Google untuk membantu pekerjaan mereka. Dari hasil kuisioner tingkat kepuasan, sebanyak 15 dari 17 orang peserta pelatihan merasa terbantu dengan adanya pelatihan ini. Kemudian sebanyak 14 orang peserta juga merasa hasil pelatihan Information and Communication Technology yang diikuti relevan dengan permasalahan dan dapat dijadikan alternatif solusi yang membantu guru dalam proses kegiatan belajar. Peningkatan pemahaman juga dialami oleh peserta workshop sebelum dan setelah bergabung dengan kegiatan sosialisasi. dalam proses pembelajaran, merujuk pada data tingkat pemahaman yang diambil sebelum dan setelah pelatihan.

Abstract

This paper discusses the sound generator which uses of sine waves superposition to produce musical sounds. The sound generator was then further used as practicum module by electrical engineering students in the electrical physics course. Especially to better understand about electrical waves and its parameters. This sound generator is considered to be a more effective learning tool in comparison to the  oscilloscope and function generators, which are more commonly used. To build the sound generator, a simple and precise architectural design is required. The architecture consist of  microcontroller as main processor and several RC integrators to convert square waves into sine waves. The algorithm in the microcontroller was aranged to produce a harmonious melody. In summary, this paper discusses the complete and comprehensive process of constructing a sound generator including its architectural design, generation process of sine waves, superposition of waves, and also the process of composing a tone scenario in order to produce a harmonious melody.

Abstract

Pada lingkungan pengembangan perangkat lunak banyak pengguna, konflik dapat terjadi karena pengguna melakukan perubahan pada bagian yang sama. Lingkungan pengembangan banyak pengguna menggunakan kontrol versi untuk mengelolah perubahan yang terjadi. Ketika salah satu pengguna melakukan penyimpanan, kontrol versi mendeteksi terjadinya konflik. Pendeteksian konflik dilakukan untuk mencegah kloning dan kesalahan sintaksis pada proses penggabungan dua buah versi. Pada penelitian ini digunakan sebuah metode untuk mendeteksi konflik secara leksikal pada diagram kelas dalam lingkungan pengembangan banyak pengguna. Metode ini menggunakan pendekatan modifikasi graf dan similaritas WordNet. Pendekatan modifikasi graf digunakan untuk mencari bagian dalam diagram kelas yang hanya mengalami perubahan. Kelas, atribut, operasi dan relasi dimodelkan menjadi bentuk graf. Pendekatan ini menghasilkan graf dengan aturan minimal. Graf dengan aturan minimal adalah graf yang hanya mengalami perubahan. Konflik dapat dideteksi dengan membandingkan similaritas WordNet dua buah versi graf dengan aturan minimal. Pasangan bagian yang mempunyai nilai similaritas tinggi teridentifikasi sebagai kasus konflik leksikal. Dalam penelitian ini metode diujikan dengan menggunakan diagram kelas yang terdiri dari 30 versi. Dari penelitian ini pendekatan yang diambil diperoleh nilai kappa sebesar 0,6404 yang menunjukkan bahwa hasil tingkat kecocokan antara sistem dan pakar pada penelitian ini adalah kuat (good)

Abstract

Nurse Call System, a system used by inpatients to call nurses if they need help. This system is very useful for patients with disabilities such as being unable to speak, unable to walk, and no family in the form of a telephone or a button attached to a wall. The weakness of the system with permanent position is mobility, for example when the patient is going to the bathroom and unwanted things happen, the patient will have difficulty asking for help. So, a wireless Nurse Call system is needed that can be carried wherever the patient goes so that the patient can call the nurse wherever needed. In this research, nurse call system was developed wirelessly via the ZigBee data communication and realtime notification using websocket protocol. The development stages were carried out: literature study and field observation, development of Zigbee push buttons and gateways, development of middleware to read data from gateways, development of dashboard and reporting application. The last stage of monitoring and evaluation is testing the system that has been made. Based on the test results performed the system can run well when the distance between the zigbee push button and the gateway is less than 15 meters and has a response time of less than 1634 milliseconds.

Abstract

The emergency of the healthcare device unit, such as a ventilator, has been experienced during the COVID-19 pandemic in 2020. Therefore, ventilator usage is not hard suggested anymore for COVID-19 patients compared to the outbreak beginning. Despite that, it is still essential to have the ventilator ready, if possible, in each house, for the upcoming respiratory syndrome outbreak. Therefore, in this paper, a digital ventilator development is presented. The digital ventilator is comprised of three main parts, such as respiration mechanism (I), controller Internet of Things (IoT) module (II), and website application (III). The developed digital ventilator has been tested by comparing the measurement of respiratory data between the developed digital ventilator and gas flow analyzer. Results show that the respiratory data, such as Pressure Peak (PPeak), Positive End Respiratory Pressure (PEEP), Inspiratory Expiratory Ratio (IE Ratio), Breath per Minute (BPM), and Tidal Volume can be monitored and controlled both directly and online via website application consistently (standard deviation around 10%) with PPeak absolute error of 1.35 mbar, the PEEP absolute error of 0.16 mbar. Furthermore, the average time response of the digital ventilator to the input command from the website application is 0.23 s. Therefore, it is safe to assume that the doctor can use the website application to control the digital ventilator remotely.

Abstract

The elevator has an important role in assisting transportation and logistics activities in a building. However, if the elevator is not used wisely, then the power consumption will be inefficient. A policy of elevator usage is necessary to ensure the effectiveness of elevator power consumption. Therefore, in this study, elevator power consumption monitoring is proposed. The power consumption behavior can be learned so a suitable policy can be made accordingly. Two elevators in Telkom Campus Surabaya are monitored to understand the daily electrical energy usage. Internet of Things (IoT) based real-time power monitoring system is used to monitor the electrical energy usage of the elevator. A raspberry pi is used to collect the data of electrical usage via a current and power sensor. The data is sent to the cloud, which later is displayed through a dashboard website. The result shows that the elevator usage on weekdays and weekends is different. The peak power on weekdays is obtained from 15.00 to 16.00, meanwhile, on weekends, the peak occurs from 9:00 to 10:00. On weekdays, the total power consumed by the elevator is 51.74kW, while on weekends, it is 11.94kW. Restrictions on the use of lifts are applied to periods when the lift has few passengers and has a short distance. From the results obtained, the total power consumed can decrease by an average of 37%. It is expected that the suggested policies can reduce elevator power consumption and the monthly cost of electrical energy.

Abstract

Internet of Things (IoT) merupakan wujud perkembangan teknologi internet yang akhir-akhir ini menjadi topik perbincangan di kalangan penggiat industri Teknologi Informasi dan Komunikasi (TIK). Masyarakat Indonesia, khususnya para pelajar harus siap menghadapi tantangan tersebut untuk dapat bersaing dengan dunia. Untuk itu pihak penyelenggara pendidikan harus meningkatkan pengetahuan pelajar untuk mengakomodir hal tersebut, sedangkan kurikulum saat ini belum dapat mengakomodir hal tersebut sehingga dibutuhkan kegiatan ekstrakurikuler di luar jam pelajaran sekolah guna meningkatkan pengetahuan tentang teknologi IoT yang saat ini menjadi tren. Salah satu hal yang dapat dilakukan untuk menghadapi tantangan ini yaitu memberikan pembekalan tentang perkembangan teknologi IoT agar para pelajar dapat mempersiapkan diri lebih dini. SMP Al Islah Surabaya adalah salah satu sekolah menengah yang ada di Surabaya. Di sekolah ini, kurikulum yang digunakan masih belum mengakomodir pengetahuan tentang teknologi IoT. Kondisi inilah yang menyebabkan dibutuhkannya pengetahuan dan skill tambahan yang saat ini sedang berkembang sangat penting untuk mereka kuasai, salah satunya adalah tentang IoT. Hal ini yang menjadi dasar pemikiran penulis ingin memberikan skill tambahan kepada siswa SMP Al Islah Surabaya agar memiliki bekal kemampuan lain disamping kemampuan akademik yang mereka terima di sekolah. Penulis memberikan pelatihan IoT, dimana dalam pelaksanaannya kami dibantu oleh mahasiswa Teknik Komputer.
