Abstract

This research based on using oftamarillo fruit in food processing is less, in fact the tamarillo includes a great nutritional degree for healty.The purpose of this research is analysing the effects of using sugar degree on the quality of tamarillo jam, consist of color, smell, texture, and teste. This type of this research is purely experimental with complete randomized design method. The research variables include independent variables withsugar degree as much 40%, 50% and 60% of the total material used. The dependent variable are quality of tamarillo jam. Primary data is sourced from 30 semi-trained by submitting the organoleptic test format. Analysis data with ANAVA, if there is real difference continued with Duncan test. The result of the analysis is there real difference to the use of sugar degree in the quality of maroon color, easy to smear of texture, and sweet acidity of typical tamarillo. On the typical tamarillo smell of quality, typical cinnamon smell and smooth texture have no significant difference. The best results fortamarillo jam is jam with 60% sugar degree.Keywords : Sugar Level, Tamarillo Jam, Quality

Abstract

The type of the research is qualitative deskriptive research that is corelasional. The population of this study is the students of class XI majoring in hair beauty SMK N 7 Padang that has followed 45 (up style) seting. The sampling tecnique from this research is the total sampling of data collection is by using questionnaire by using skala which is tested the validity. Analysis tecnique of achievment level of respondent with formula percentage of tes requirements analysis by using normality and linieritas test while correlation coefficient analysis using person correlation product moment and for hypothesis test of t test. The results stated that the creativity of students included in the category was with the percentage 71% while the average of student learning outcemes os 73 which states still below KKM. KKM is determinated is 75. The result of correlation analysis obtained r value count of 0,685 with a strong relationship interpretation with a significance value 0,000 <0,05. Ha test accepted suggested to teachers to improve students creativity through efforts to use learning resources and learning strategies that build more and encourage student creativity .Keywords: Creativity, Learning Out Comes, Structuring (Up Style)

Abstract

This research to describe about tourism potential at Tarusan Kamang Kecamatan Kamang Magek consist of what to see, (b) what to do, (c) what to buy, (d) what to arrived, (e) what to stay.The kind of research is descriptive qualitative. Technique data collection was carried out by using the method interview, observation and documentation. In this research using purposive sampling with 6 informants snowball sampling with 5 informants. Technique analysis data used in this research was reduction data, presentation of data, and conclusion.The research found that Tarusan Kamang object seen from the aspect: (a) what to see, Tarusan Kamang has a beautiful scenery. (b) what to do, tourist can take Rakit and boat around Tarusan Kamang. (c) what to buy, there is no souvenir shop, but tourist can only find the tradisional food. (d) what to arrived, the transportation which available is land transportation mode. Abstract

The background of this study was the lack of utilization materials local food namely sukun flour. The purpose of this research was to analyzed substitution effect of sukun flour peel as much as 20%, 30% and 40% to the quality of volume, skin color, shape, aroma, texture and taste of sweet breads. This type of research was purely experimental with a completely randomized design method. The data used were primary data sourced from 5 expert panelists namely culinary lecturers by proposed the organoleptic test format. Analyzed of data using ANAVA, if Fcount> Ftable then continued with Duncan test. The result of the research showed that there was a significant influence of sukun flour substitution on sweet bread quality as much as 20% produced the best quality,covering volume exspands, aroma sukun, fine texture.Keywords: Sukun, sweet bread, Quality of sweet bread

Abstract

The basic pattern of Fernando burgo’s system which is written in the third book of Modelismo is from Italy.  It is not yet known if the use of this pattern is suitable for Indonesian women with an ideal body. The aims of this research is to describe the flaws, to illustrate how to improve the flaws and to adjust the basic foundation within the use of Fernando burgo’s system to the Indonesia slim women. This research is an applied research. The research objects are 23 years old iwomen with 163 cm height and 52 kg weight. The research instrument used is assessment form. The assessment was conducted by 5 panelists who are fashion lecturers. The analysis techniques used is descriptive statistic. The result of the research shows that the basic pattern of Fernando Burgo’s system has some flaws to used for Indonesian women with ideal typed of body. The flaws are 1). The centre front neckline is higher for 1 cm. 2) the lowest shoulder line shifts backward for 1 cm. 3). The front body block is wider for 1 cm. 4) the hipline is narrower for 2cm. The ways to improve those flaws are 1) the centre front neckline has to be lower for 1 cm. 2) the lowest back shoulder line has to be higher for 1cm and the lowest front shoulder line has to be lower for 1 cm. 3) the front body width has to be reduced by 0.5 cm for the half front block  4) the hip dimension has to be added 0.5 cm for the quarter skirt block. The adjustment were obtained by adjusting the result of the previous pattern and manipulate the formula which is used in Fernando burgo’s formulation for Indonesian women with ideal typed of body.Keyword : Adjustment, Fernando Burgo’sbasic pattern system, Indonesia ideal women

Abstract

Many factors that affect production batik basurek of batik industry in thecity of Bengkulu. Among them was caused by the supply of raw materials has notbeen efficient, the lack of a competent workforce, and the high cost ofproduction/capital in batik. The aimed of this research was to describe whetherthere is influence of the raw materials, labor, and cost of production of batikbasurek against capital in the city of Bengkulu province of Bengkulu. The type ofresearch that is quantitative descriptive, with the entire population of industryleader batik basurek, as many as six people. The number of samples is equal tothe number of population. The technique of sampling using the technique saturated of sampling. Engineering data collection using the likert scale withquestion form distributed to respondents and have tested the validity andreliability. The results showed: 1) inventories raw materials are located on bothcategories of 50.00%. 2) amount and quality of labor with very high requirement,low and very low each of 33,33%. 3) availability of production cost/very highcapital of 66,66%. 4) the quality and number of batik production with a very highrequirement, low and very low each of 33,33%). Based on multiple regressionanalysis, hypothesis testing and the results of the determination of the coefficientindicates that the raw material (X1), labor (X2), and cost of production/capital(X3), has a positive influence and significantly to the production of batik basurekamounted to 99.8%.Keywords: Batik basurek production, the city of Bengkulu.

Abstract

This research arouse from the observations of researcher towardsBayang Sani waterfall tourist attraction manage by the local people. Thisresearch aims to know the Bayang Sani waterfall tourist attraction in thevillage of Koto Baru Bayang Pesisir Selatan Regency which includes threeterms of attractions: Something to see, Something to do and Something tobuy. Abstract

Purpose of this are: (1) Describing bellboy service quality, (2) Describingguest statisfaction and (3) analize an affecttion of bellboy service towards gueststatisfaction in Grand Rocky Hotel Bukittinggi. Type of this research were allguest in Grand Rocky Hotel Bukittinggi. According to sampling purposive, 100guest has been collected as sample. Data was collected by using the questionnairewhich has been tested the validity and reability. Then, data were analyzeddescriptively and correlation with the assistance of a computer program 16.00 spssversion. The result showed taht: (1) bellboy service quality are in low category(57%), (2) guest statisfaction are in low (86%) and (3) there is significant affectbetween the quality of service to the guest statisfaction in Grand Rocky HotelBukittinggi of (34%) while (66%) influenced by the other factors.Keywords: service quality, guest statisfaction, bellboy1Prodi

Abstract

This research was based on the lack of wuluh star fruit utilization, whereas wuluh star fruit has good nutritional value for health. This study aimed to analyzed the effect of sugar content as much as 450 gr, 500 gr, 550 gr and 600 gr to the quality of shape X4 (600 gr), color X4 (600 gr), smell X4 (600 gr), texture X1 (450 gr) and flavor X4 (600 gr) on candy wuluh star fruit. Types of pure experimental research with complete randomized design methods of three repetitions. The research variables included the independent variable (X) that wasthe influence of sugar. The dependent variable (Y) was the quality (shape, color, smell, texture and flavor) candy wuluh star fruit. The data that have been obtained was tabulated and analyzed by variant (ANAVA). If different proceed with Duncan test. Abstract

The research started from observation and experience of researcher whiledoing activity of industrial field experience at Tourism Office of West SumateraProvince, that there is descreasing performance to employee discipline in work.The purpose of research is to see how big the influence of variable discipline (X)to Employee Performance (Y) in the Tourism Office of West Sumatra Province.The sample of the in this research were 42 people taken using the technique ofsampling proportionate stratified random sampling. The data collection was donewith the questionnaire using scale likert that they are highly capable validity andreliability. This research result indicates that : (1) The discipline in the categorysufficient (45%), (2) The Employee Performance is at category sufficient (60%)(3) The discipline affect Employee Performance of 64,9 % and 35,1% influencedby other factors. Then obtained regression coefficient value of 0.880 with a valueof t arithmetic 8.608 on sig. 0,000 ≤ 0.05. This means that each increase of 1 unitdiscipline will increase 0.880 units of employee performance.
