Abstract

The purpose of research is theapplication observation grooming standard front office in The Axana Hotel Padang City. This research consists of five indicators are: personal hygiene, attitude, greeting, polite, welcome guest. This type of research is descriptive research using survey method. Population in this research is guest have stayed and visit inThe Axana Hotel Padang on January 2014 until Desember 2014 amounted to 20.543 guest. Sampling technique is non probability sampling, using insidental sampling. Sample number in this research amounted to 95 guest. Data collection using a questionnaire based on a Likert scale that tested for validity and reliability. Based on the results of the study concluded that in general the application observation grooming standard front officeinThe Axana Hotel Padang City good less in mean 90,41 between range 70 -< 93, and for allindicators about grooming standardgood less all.Key Word: Grooming Standar, Employee, Front Office, Guest

Abstract

Acne cause pain, itching, and lack of confidence. To treat this abnormaly we used Gambir mask skin care cosmetics. This study aimed to analyze the use of Gambir mask to treat the acne, to the student of UNP with acne wits indicator color, shape, volume, and the amount of acne. This study used a quasi eksperimen methods with (Non Equivalent Control Group Design). The object of research is the papule acne type. UNP student population wits aged 17-25 years old who had acne, the technique of sampling through purposive sampling technique, with a sample size of 6 people. The collected data are primary data, descriptive analysis, hypothesis was tested by t (independent sampel t test). The study states that the control group (Xo) showed no significant change in the results, while the experimental group (X1) showed a significant change in results. Data are normal and homogeneous so that the t use Equal variances assumed. Price t count> t table (8.649> 2.074) it is proved that the hypothesis there is a difference significant influence on the use of the mask image in both groups against facial acne skin care is received at a significance level of 0,05 (5%).Keywords: gambir Mask, Facial skin care, acne

Abstract

Abstract This research describes the color, value and flatness color produced in cottondyeing using a banana leaf extract Mordant china with alum concentration of 10grams, 30 grams, 50 grams. This type of research is a quasi experimental researchdesign. The research consisted of two variables, namely, variable X is used in cottondyeing extracts banana leaf china and Y variables are the result of immersion includecolor (hue), dark bright color (value) and the flatness of color. The type of data is theprimary data. Data sources amounted to 15 people consisting of five faculty membersdressmaking KK subjects and 10 subjects dressmaking students. The data isprocessed using analysis of variance (ANOVA) one-way, with SPSS version 12.0.The results are significant differences due to the influence of the concentration ofalum 10 grams, 30 grams, 50 grams to cotton using leaf extract petai china. As forthe flatness of color there is no significant difference due to the effect of alumconcentration of 10 grams, 30 grams and 50 grams. Abstract

This study aimed to describe hair treatment done by the students of Family Welfare Department, Faculty University of Padang who has done hair straightening (rebonding). This research is a correlation with the population of 45 people and the samples were 45 students who have been doing hair straightening (rebonding). The sample in this study was done by using purposive sampling. Data collection techniques using Likert Scale and Scale questionnaire Guttman already tested for validity and reliability. Data analysis using descriptive analysis was done by testing normality and linearity test, hypothesis testing with product moment correlation. Based on the results of the data proving that the students from the Department of Family Welfare Faculty of Engineering, University of Padang; (1) hair care knowledge possessed by students who have been doing hair straightening medium category with the percentage of 33,33%, (2) Health student who has been doing hair straightening (rebonding) including category simply by 64.12% percentage, (3) There is a significant relationship between health care done by students who have hair straightening (rebonding) with evidentiary value 0.241> 0.5 in the low category.Keywords : Knowledge Hair Treatmen After Straightening, Hair Health

Abstract

This research started from the results of pre-research observations ofemployees of New d'Dhave Hotel Padang who complained about their leaders. Thisstudy aims to analyze the Effect of Manager Leadership on Job SatisfactionEmployees at New d'Dhave Hotel Padang. The type of this research is descriptivequantitative with causal assosiative method. The number of samples in this studyamounted to 30 people taken using the technique of saturated sampling. Datacollection technique is done by questionnaire by using Likert scale that has beentested the validity and reliability. Based on the research that has been done thenobtained the results of simple linear regression hypothesis test obtained a constantvalue (a) of 71,831, this figure has meaning if there is no managerial leadership (X)then the value of consistent job satisfaction (Y) is 71.831. Then obtained the value ofregression coefficient (b) of -0.420, this figure means that every increase of 1 unit ofmanagerial leadership (X), then job satisfaction (Y) will decrease by -0.420. thenobtained R square equal to 0,137, namely an effect of 13,7%.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to examine the influence between the quality of service towards visitor satisfaction in Adityawarman Museum. The type of research is clausal assosiative. Population in this research are amounted to 117 people. The sampling technique is non probability sampling, by using insidental sampling. Sample in this research are amounted to 54 people. Data collecting using a questionnaire based on a Likert scale that has been tested for validity and reliability. Based on the results of theresearch concluded that in general about the quality of service in Adityawarman Museum is good (63 %), meanwhile for visitor satisfaction in Adityawarman Museum is also good (66,7 %). The results also indicate that the are significant influence between quality of service and visitor satisfaction in Adityawarman Museum with the coefficient determinant (R Square) value of 0,146 on a 0,004 significant value. Abstract

The purpose of research was to describe the use of food additives by the vendors of street food in North Padang District Elementary School. This type of research is quantitative descriptive. The study population was street food vendors in the neighborhood elementary school in the district of Padang Utara totaling 53 traders, sampling using total sampling technique. Collecting data using a questionnaire and analyzed using a percentage formula. Data collecting by questioner and analysys by percentace. The results of the study as follows: 1) Type of Food Additives dyes used synthetic red, yellow, green and brown. Synthetic sweeteners are used, sakarine. MSG flavor and aroma boosters, preservatives are rarely used. Natural food additives used natural dyes, dye green from pandan leaves and leaf suji, the yellow color of turmeric. Natural sweetener from cane sugar, brown sugar, honey, natural preservatives garlic, sugar, salt, flavor and aroma of garlic, pepper, and lime leaves. (2) The dose BTP used by traders snacks, BTP synthetic dyes above the maximum limit of 500 mg/kg, a sweetener within the limits of a maximum of 300 mg/kg, a flavor enhancer MSG above the maximum limit of 300 mg/kg, adders aroma vanilie above the maximum limit of 0.9/kg and (3) Knowledge of Food Additives are used by traders snacks including unfavorable categoryKata kunci: Food Additives, Food Snacks, snacks Traders

Abstract

This study aims to reveal students' creative relationship with the learning outcomes at the course practice care and hair styling. This research is descriptive quantitative research that describes what the subject under study in order to obtain answers to questions of the problems studied. The population in this study were students of Make up and Beauty Family Welfare Department FT UNP listed in semester from January to June 2013, which amounted to 25 people, because the population is less than 100 then the entire population in this study the research sample. The data of this study consisted of primary data in the form of questionnaires and secondary data from a pure value students daily practice in the course of care and hair styling semesters from January to June 2013. Results of data analysis showed that the average score of respondents overall achievement of the variable creativity of 65.3% with a low category, the results of student learning practices with the highest level of achievement by 76% of respondents to a value between 71-80. Ha accepted hypothesis which states that there is a positive and significant relationship between student creativity with the practice of student learning outcomes at the course and treatment of hair styling with a correlation of 0.459 with the interpretation being while Ho is rejected. From the results of the study can be recommended for all elements related to the care and grooming of learning to improve student learning through the creative use of learning resources and effort learning strategies that lead to increased creativity in learning more.Kata Kunci : Memiliki rasa ingin tahu yang luas, percaya diri, bebas dalam berekspresi, dan dapat bekerja sendiri.

Abstract

This study aims to see whether there is an influence of ‘halal’ labelon buying interest by the students of Education Makeup and BeautyFaculty of Engineering Department of Padang State University. Thisresearch is descriptive quantitative. The populations in this research were137 female students and the sample about 102 female students ofEducation Makeup and Beauty Faculty of Engineering Department ofPadang State University in academic year 2010 to 2013. The research datais primary data that obtained directly from the respondents in the form 43items questionnaire with a number of statements by using Likers scale thathas been tested for validity and reliability. Data were analyzed usingdescriptive analysis that was performed linearly test, normality test andhypotheses test with product moment correlation. The results showed thatthere was no significant relationship but it has a positive side between‘halal’ labels on buying interest. The analysis showed that the ‘Halal’Label located on the percentage of 55% in a low category, and InterestBuy obtained the percentage 81% in a high category.Keyword: Halal label, buying interest cosmetic care and makeup

Abstract

The study aims to know an effort to maintain sanitation equipment to eat and drink in the Café Damil Denia Universitas Negeri Padang of the which consist of the early stages of the laundering, laundering, flushing, eradication of germs, drying, and storage equipment to eat and drink. This type of research it’s a sort of descriptive set of qualitative. The data collection is done using the method of interviews, observations, and documentation involving informants, namely management, and employee Café Damil Denia. The analysis of data in this study include the reduction of data, and the conclusion. The result of this research is (1)The eating utensils and drinking just one container. (2) Of eating utrnsils and drinking did not immediateky be appointed to the wash. (3) A cup and plate that have not been washed in clean. (4) The drink is ready to be washed and still wet laid down in the visitors. (5) Of eating utensils and drinking will be used still a stain.
