Abstract

Madura cattle used in this study used PGF2α at a concentration of 2 ml (Group 1.), GnRH + PGF2α + GnRH (Group 2.) and GnRH + PGF2α + ECP (Group 3.) was 100%. This is in accordance with the results of the chi square test on livestock which lust on treatments 1,2 and 3 that the three treatments had a very good lustrous response, but did not show a significant difference in pregnancy (P> 0.05). Pregnancy detection is done by rectal palpation at the age of 2 months after IB is carried out and supported by looking at the profile of the progesterone hormone from blood palsma, if the concentration above 2 nmol / mL is thought to have undergone pregnancy. Abstract

Milk chips were the type of snacks that favored by children and adults. This kind of snacks made from milk that has high nutrition value required by children and adults. Milk chips required many ingredient, such as baking powders. The objective of this research was to study organoleptic parameters of milk chips with different treatment of baking powders (0,1%, 0,3%, 0,5%, 0,8%, 1%). The result of organoleptic test showed that different treatment of baking powders significantly impact the crispiness of milk chips. The highest score of crispiness found in milk chips with 1% doses of baking powders. So, high doses of baking powders giving the high score of crispiness by organoleptic test. High doses of baking powders not effecting colors, taste and flavours of milk chips.

Abstract

Keberlanjutan usaha peternakan baik ayam broiler ataupun ayam pejantan layer sangat ditentukan oleh pengetahuan peternak tentang aspek-aspek kelayakan usaha. Suatu usaha dikatakan layak jika memenuhi syarat-syarat seperti layak pasar dan pemasaran, layak teknis, dan layak finansial. Berdasarkan ketiga aspek tersebut, aspek finansial merupakan aspek paling utama yang harus diperhatikan. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di Peternak Ayam Broiler Pola Kemitraan dan Peternak Ayam Pejantan Layer, Kecamatan Kandat, Kabupaten Kediri. Metode analisis perbandingan antara penerimaan dengan biaya untuk menentukan usaha ternak ayam broiler dan ayam pejantan layer tersebut layak atau tidak untuk dikembangkan dengan menggunakan analisis R/C (Return Cost Ratio), Rentabilitas dan Uji t. Analisis Ekonomi Usaha berbasis perbandingan pada usaha peternakan ayam broiler dan ayam pejantan layer di Kecamatan Kandat Kabupaten Kediri tergolong layak. Hal ini terbukti karena nilai R/C>1 sehingga dapat dikatakan layak. Sedangkan berdasarkan perhitungan uji-t nilai R/C t-hitung -1,039 < t-tabel 5% (2,262). Sehingga tidak terdapat perbedaan yang signifikan antara peternakan ayam broiler dengan ayam pejantan layer. Sedangkan perhitungan statistik uji-t nilai Rentabilitas t-hitung -0,9416 < t-tabel 5% (2,262). Sehingga tidak terdapat perbedaan yang signifikan antara peternakan ayam broiler dengan ayam pejantan layer

Abstract

Quail performances was caused by several reasons such as light color and cage density. The purpose of this research was to find the influence of light color and cage density to male quail performances during 5 weeks fattening. Method was used in this reseach was Completely Randomized Design with factorial pattern containing two factors were light color (white, yellow, green) and cage density (40 male quail/ m2 and 60 male quail/ m2). The measured variable were feed intake, body weight gain and feed conversion rate. The result showed that the varieties of light color and cage density on male quail give no effect (P> 0.05) on feed intake, body weight gain and feed conversion rate for 5 weeks fattening period.

Abstract

Increased demand for livestock products one of which is chicken meat, consumption of chicken meat in 2014 reached 4.48 kg / kap / th (total consumption broiler, laying chicken race reject and stud and free-range chicken ­). Chicken is a name for a pet chicken which are not cultivated by means of commercial mass cultivation and does not originate from the race generated for commercial purposes. Production of chicken that is currently not maximally demanding existence additive a natural feed to increase the production of chicken meat. One of the natural feed additive is turmeric flour. Research on “Effect of Dose and Method of Giving of Turmeric Flour to Chicken Village Performance “ JAWA SUPER”” was held on February 17 - March 14, 2017 in Sawahan Village, Purwokerto Village, Ngadiluwih District, Kediri Regency. This study aims to determine the effect of dosage and turmeric feeding method on the performance of chicken “JAWA SUPER”. The method used in this research is experimental method by using nested pattern, consisting of 2 treatments and 4 doses, in which each treatment dose was repeated 3 times. Turmeric powder is fed in 1% feed (P1), 1.5% (P2), 2% (P3) 2.5% (P4) and in drinking water with dose of 1% (M1), 1.5% (M2 ), 2% (M3) 2.5% (M4). The variables observed in this study were feed consumption, body weight gain, feed conversion and chicken mortality. Based on the results of the study can be concluded that the treatment and doses given in the study all did not significantly affect the performance of "JAWA SUPER" chicken chicken except chicken mortality. With the average of each variable, consumption (mean feed method 44.00 ± 2.13 (gram / head / day) and drinking method of 43.27 ± 1.29 (gram / head / day)), UN (average feed method 527 , 61 ± 53,61 (gram / head) and in drinking method 514,15 ± 4,65 (gram / head)), feed conversion (feed method average 2,17 ± 0,16 and drink method 2,20 ± 0 , 19), and mortality with 0% mortality from 96 chickens maintained.

Abstract

The aim of this research was to find influence soaking in a mixture of salt solutions and ginger extract against a fat and protein contain of egg.This study was conducted in the laboratory of animal husbandry, Faculty of Agriculture, Kadiri Islamic University on 20 -26 June 2014 and eggs sample were analyzed the fat and the protein contain in the laboratory of biochemistry, MIPA Faculty, UMM on 27-30 June 2014. Methodology of this research used was the factorials method Completed Random Design (RAL). Research factors includes: immersion in a solution of salt, consisting of 2 level: G0: without additional salt; G1: by the addition of 15 %salt and factors soaking in ginger extract, consists of 4 level: J0: without additional ginger extract; J1: by the addition of 5% ginger extract, J2: by the addition of 10% ginger extract; J3: by the addition of 15% ginger extract.The total number of eggs required in this study was 96 egg. The results of the analysis showed that treatment of soaking in a mixture of salt solutions and ginger extract produce a fat and protein content of eggs with no significant different (P>0.05). The average of fat content (%) in each combination treatment: G0J0= 12,582 ± 0,160 ; G0J1= 11,782 ± 0,390 ; G0J2= 11,568 ± 0,331 ; G0J3= 10,894 ± 0,339 ; G1J0 = 12,640 ± 0,176 ; G1J1= 11,971 ± 0,142 ; G1J2= 11,392 ± 0,132 ; G1J3= 10,557 ± 0,473. The average of protein content (%) in each combination treatment: G0J0= 14,566 ± 0,218 ; G0J1= 14,651 ± 0,180 ; G0J2= 14,825 ± 0,098 ; G0J3= 15,003 ± 0,055 ; G1J0= 14,681 ± 0,075 ; G1J1= 14,909 ± 0,055 ; G1J2= 15,033 ± 0,082 ; G1J3= 15,062 ± 0,047. The conclusions of this research was not significantly different (P>0,05) use a mixture of salt solutions and dosage ginger extractin soaking egg against a fat and protein content.Suggested should be used combination treatment immersion in a solution of salt and 15% ginger extract to maintain a fat content and protein of egg and further investigation to determine the level of consumer test (organoleptic) of egg who received treatment in a solution of salt and ginger extract

Abstract

Enclosure is one of the success factors in a poultry farm. Closed house enclosure is a modern enclosure that has many advantages ranging from labor efficiency, temperature and humidity that can be adjusted, without being affected by the temperature from outside the enclosure. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of lamp coloring on the performance of the chicken phase layer in the closed house cage system. The study was conducted in July 2018 on the farm owned by Mr. Rudyanto Margadji located in Balapan Village, Sukorejo District, Blitar Regency. Data obtained from farms is processed using unpaired t test. The variables observed included feed consumption (feed intake), daily egg production (Hen day), feed conversion (FCR). The results showed that the level of consumption of feed on red lights averaged = 120.3 g, whereas for yellow lights = 120.2 g, for Hen Day on average = 92.33% for red lights and for yellow lights = 86.22%. The FCR value at the red light indicates an average of 2.04 and for the yellow light is 2.13.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilakukan diwilayah kerja KUD Karyabakti, tepatnya didesa Babatan Kecamatan Ngancar Kabupaten Kediri. Penelitian ini berlangsung selama 4 minggu mulai 25 April 2015 sampai dengan 24 Mei 2015.Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh perbandingan jumlah hijauan dan konsentrat serta teknik pemberian konsentrat terhadap performance sapi PFH. Materi yang digunakan adalah 18 ekor sapi laktasi dengan jenis PFH. Pakan yang digunakan terdiri dari rumput gajah dan konsentrat, Pakan diberikan 2 kali sehari dengan rasio 1. 40% HMT : 60% konsentrat, 2. 50% HMT : 50% konsentrat, 3. 60% HMT : 40% konsentrat (dasar BK). Selain itu pada pemberian konsentrat dilakukan dengan teknik basah dan kering sedangkan air tersedia secara adlibitum. Alat yang digunakan dalam penelitian adalah timbangan Ruddweigh, timbangan duduk shelter, alat pemerahan seperti timba perah, milkcan, minyak pelumas puting, selang air, sikat, timba takar dan alat tulis. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode percobaan dengan perlakuan perbandingan jumlah HMT dan konsentrat yang didasarkan atas kebutuhan BK ternak menurut ARC (1984). Perlakuan yang diperoleh adalah R1T1,R2T1,R3T1,R1T2,R2T2,R3T2 dari masing-masing perlakuan dicobakan kepada 18 ekor ternak selama 21 hari, minggu pertama adalah tahap persiapan minggu kedua adalah tahap adaptasi minggu ketiga dan keempat adalah tahap koleksi data. Variabel yang diamati meliputi jumlah produksi susu dan perubahan BB. Data hasil penelitian dianalisis dengan analisis ragam percobaan tersarang dengan menggunakan rancangan acak kelompok (RAK). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa rata-rata produksi susu dari 18 ekor ternak adalah 9,36(L), 11,67(L), 10,5(L), 9,46(L), 10,28(L), 8,07(L), 15,14(L), 16,07(L), 14,07(L), 17,39(L), 14,64(L), 13(L), 19,53(L), 20,75(L), 21,93(L), 22,39(L), 21,18(L), 22,03(L), dan perubahan BB adalah 5,63, 1,58, 8,16, (-16,66), 5,19, (-0,39),(-3,69), (-11,01), 25,42, 3,33, 5,64, 5,53, 4,55, 2,39, 5,57, (-6,76), (-2,78), (-1,56). Hasil uji statistika menunjukkan terdapat perbedaan yang tidak nyata (P > 0,05) pada rasio dan teknik terhadap produksi susu dan terdapat perbedaan yang nyata (P < 0,05) pada rasio dan teknik terhadap perubahan BB. Kesimpulan yang dapat diambil adalah perbandingan jumlah hijauan dan konsentrat serta teknik pemberian konsentrat berpengaruh tidak nyata terhadap jumlah produksi susu, tetapi berpengaruh nyata terhadap perubahan BB. Disarankan dalam penggunaan pakan memakai HMT 50% : konsentrat 50% dengan teknik konsentrat kering

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilaksanakan pada bulan November 2017 – Januari 2018 di Kabupaten Blitar Jawa Timur khususnya tepatnya di Kecamatan Talun, Kanigoro, Kademangan, Binangun, Srengat, Nglegok dan Ponggok. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendapatkan analisis kenaikan harga dedak padi, analisis biaya produksi dan Break Event Point (BEP) usaha ayam petelur, analisis Revenue Cost Ratio R/C dan analisis finansial usaha ayam petelur. Materi yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah data primer dan data sekunder. Data primer didapatkan dari peternak ayam petelur di Kabupaten Blitar dengan cara survey di peternak ayam petelur. Data sekunder didapatkan dari laporan penelitian dan informasi dari instansi yang terkait yang berhubungan dengan penelitian ini. Metode penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini yaitu metode survey dengan sampel yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah sebanyak 100 orang peternak ayam petelur yang berada di Kabupaten Blitar Jawa Timur. Data dianalisis secara kuantitatif yaitu analisis finansial dengan menghitung keuntungan dan R/C ratio. Hasil penelitian ini di dapatkan bahwa kenaikan dedak padi berpengaruh sangat nyata (P<0,01) terhadap kenaikan total biaya produksi, kenaikan break event point (BEP), penurunan revenue cost ratio (R/C) dan berpengaruh nyata (P<0,05) pada penurunan tingkat pendapatan peternak ayam petelur. Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini adalah bahwa adanya kenaikan harga dedak padi menyebabkan biaya produksi pada usaha ayam petelur mengalami kenaikan yang menyebabkan terjadinya penurunan pendapatan. Meskipun terjadi kenaikan pada biaya produksi, usaha ayam petelur masih layak untuk dilanjutkan karena nilai revenue cost ratio (R/C) masih diatas 1. Disarankan pada paternak ayam petelur pada saat terjadi kenaikan salah satu harga pakan segera dilakukan reformulasi pakan dengan kualitas yang sama dengan pakan sebelumnya tapi dengan persentase yang berbeda sehingga harga pakan masih dapat ditekan kenaikannya

Abstract

The purpose of this research was to find the influence of doses and period of soakingin Bay Leaf Solution to Cholesterol Contain of Chicken Egg.Research carried out in Animal Husbandry Laboratories, Faculty of Agriculture, Kadiri Islamic University at 20-26 july 2013. The cholesterol analysis was done in Laboratory of chemistry, MIPA Faculty, UMM starting on july 27 - august 12 2013 Material used was 144 egg which 1 day old with eggs weight between 40-49 gram taken off the farm laying chicken.The methodology used is the method factorials Complete Random Design (RAL).The first factors was doses of bay leaf, consisting of 4 level: D0: control (without treatment); D1: soaking in 5%solution leaf; D2: soaking in7.5%solution leaf %; D3: soaking in 10%solution leaf.The second factor was period of soakingconsisting 2 level: L0: control (without treatment); L1: soaking in leaf solution for 3 days; L2: soaking in leaf solution for 6 days.To achieve 12 combination treatment, where treatment repeated three times, every second egg used 4.The total number of eggs needed the research was 144 egg The result showed that the influence of doses and period of soaking in bay leaf solution as regards of cholesterol content on eggs chicken show an significant influence interaction (p<0,01).The cholesterol content of egg (mg/100g) on each combination treatment was: D0L0= 282,857 ± 14,1374a ; D0L1= 273,743 ± 9,3158a ; D0L2 = 262,404 ± 7,9843bc ; D1L0 = 286,089 ± 4,2407a ; D1L1 = 261,148 ± 6,0831c ; D1L2 = 249,412 ± 5,8339de ; D2L0 = 283,247 ± 3,9063a ; D2L1 = 243,644 ± 3,1968e ; D2L2 = 227,360 ± 5,1087g ; D3L0 = 281,548 ± 3,2804a ; D3L1 = 229,643 ± 2,6179fg ; D3L2 = 200,271 ± 4,0193h. The conclusion of this research was that treatment of bay leaf solution, period of storage and significant combination (p<0.01) against eggs cholesterol.Advice from this research was used a combination of better treatment 10% doses and period of soaking in a solution of bay leaf in 6 days to get low cholesterol content of chicken egg. The further research of organoleptic test needed to determine the preference of consumers with this kind of eggs.
