Conceptual Idea, publishes articles conceptually relevant to advancing the practice of music and learning, present theories of music, models, or philosophical position, etc. Articles may draw upon theory/or material developed in educational practice that recognize and address a wide range of pedagogical approach that would interest members from a variety of countries and teaching setting, including activities and art materials to help internationalize art curricula.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to investigate and describe perfomance form of music group Angklung Kridotomo. Research methods applied in this study is qualitative descriptive. The result showed, music group Angklung Kridotomo do perfomance in Beringharjo market at day and in Malioboro street at night. Angklung Kridotomo group perfomance consisted by opening session that contain greeting and play opening music, at the prime session playing pop, campursari, and dangdut music. Abstract

The research of abstract is based on the activity of learning vocal; using the solfegio methodology at Gracia Gitaswara Choir for GKJ north of Cilacap. It means that the trainer of choir should have interesting and easier methods for all the choir members to learn vocal. The aim of this research is used for knowing the plan of learning vocal, the mechanism of vocal study and factors that related to vocal learning. The research methodology is based on persuading the qualitative descriptive research. It means describe, explain in details and analyst the subjects which is studied. The result of the research shows that the application of vocal study; using solfegio methodology is an efficient and effective strategy to interest the choir members in vocal study.

Abstract

Purpose in this research is: (1) knowing and descripting shape music instrumen of Marching Pring White Lion in Kalimanggis village Subah sub-district Batang district. (2) knowing and descripting existence of Marching Pring White Lion in Kalimanggis village Subah sub-district Batang district. Approach use in this research is descriptive and qualitative approach. Strategy data collection in use observed technique, interview, and documentation. Data analysis technique in use is cover in three principal component, data reduction, data dish, and verification. In this reaserch find music arransement divided for two is ritmic music arransement and mix music arransement. Ritmic music arransement is playing music instrument non melodic, function as fill in, instrument in use tongprek, snare drum, bass drum, cymbal, tamborin, and triol. Mix music arransement is music arransement for instrument melodis and non melodic. Existence Marching Pring White Lion in Kalimanggis village Subah sub-district Batang district since the beginning from1976 until now 2015 is very famous in surrounding area and outside the territory, until now the group do training in week end, and in addition to certain events of this art is still doing performances in various regions.

Abstract

Students prefer an easier way to learn the vocals and drums on the band's extracurricular activities, from a sense of love that the interests of students can grow so that the results belajarpun also increased. The purpose of this study was to determine whether using the method of ear training can increase interest and learning outcomes vocals and drum band students in extracurricular activities SMP N 3 Semarang. This type of research is a classroom action research with two cycles were carried out on students of SMP N 3 Semarang. The first cycle and the second cycle consists of planning, action, observation, and reflection. Data collection techniques used include practice tests, questionnaires, observations, journals, documentation, and interviews. Data analysis technique used is the percentage descriptive analysis, analysis of reflection, and discussion of evaluative. These results indicate that by using the method of ear training can increase interest and learning outcomes vocals and drum students of SMP N 3 Semarang on the band's extracurricular activities. Improvement occurs in both the interest and the learning outcomes for the use of ear training methods can facilitate students in learning vocals and drums on the band's extracurricular activities, so as to ease the students feel happy and interested in learning vocals and drums.

Abstract

Therapy rhythm is a therapy for stroke patients by means of moving the member body adjusts to the rhythm / rhythm of the music, was originally developed by Ronnie Gardiner a jazz drummer from the USA and then in early 2008 music school Gilang Ramadhan Studio Band (GRSB) to expand that to be applied to the tool music like drum and keyboard so that a new breakthrough in the world of learning drums and keyboard. This study used a qualitative approach. Data collection techniques including observation, interviews, and documentation. Mechanical examination of the validity of the data using triangulation confidence level, which includes triangulation, triangulation method, and triangulation of data. Data analysis technique used is the technique of interactive analysis include: data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion. The results showed that the application of therapeutic rhythm (Rhythm Therapy) for children with autism (autism) on learning piano-keyboard in Gilang Ramadhan Studio Band (GRSB) in Tegal emphasis on the provision of material rhythm more intensive with the aim of creating a cure by using 9 learning program , Factors supporting the implementation rhythm therapy is divided into internal and external factors. No limiting factor on the teacher who had difficulty in presenting the material.

Abstract

There is always trance in the show of Jaran Kepang Turonggo Seto. Music is one of the way to become trance, it’s song Slompret-slompret. This research to purpose of; Describe forms of performance Jaran Kepang Turonggo Seto; Knowing how the process of trance the dancers Jaran Kepang Turonggo Seto; to know how the purpose of song Slompret-slompret. The conclusion is; the performing of Jaran Kepang Turonggo Seto consists of many factor, there is a story, dancer, dance property, costume, make up, dance, stage, sound system, and music illustration; before the trance is happen, the dancer of Jaran Kepang Turonggo Seto have to through of lelaku, sikap and ritual jamasan, it’s the adult dancer will; the fuction of the song Slompret-slompret use to medium dancer to trance. In the song have composition lyrics, composition, melody and garap ricikan.

Abstract

Kota Semarang merupakan salah satu kota multikultural di Indonesia dimana terdapat beberapa etnis masyarakat yang hidup berdampingan di kota ini. Salah satunya yaitu etnis Tionghoa. Meskipun telah menyatu dengan etnis lain, masyarakat etnis Tionghoa di Semarang tetap mempertahankan budaya Tionghoa, salah satu contohnya dengan menyajikan musik pop mandarin atau lagu-lagu mandarin pop pada pesta pernikahan etnis Tionghoa di Semarang. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah: (1) Mengetahui, menganalisis, dan mendeskripsikan bentuk pertunjukan lagu-lagu pop mandarin dalam pesta pernikahan etnis Tionghoa di Semarang. (2) Mengetahui, menganalisis dan mendeskripsikan fungsi pertunjukan musik pop mandarin pada pesta pernikahan Etnis Tionghoa di Semarang. Bentuk penyajian terdiri dari: (1) Waktu penyajian, (2) Tempat, (3) Urutan sajian (4) Perlengkapan Pementasan. Sedangkan urutan penyajian meliputi: (1) Persiapan, (2) Pembukaan, (3) Prosesi dan Detail (4) Penutupan. Musik pengiring yang digunakan dalam penyajian terdiri dari: (1) Midi, (2) Solo Organ, (3) Band. Judul-judul lagu pop mandarin yang disajikan dalam pesta pernikahan etnis Tionghoa adalah: (1) Yue Liang Dai Biao Wo De Xin, (2) Tian Mi Mi, (3) Lao Shu Ai Da Mi. Fungsi yang terkandung dalam pertunjukan musik pop mandarin pada pesta pernikahan Etnis Tionghoa di Semarang adalah: (1) kesinambungan budaya, (2) sarana hiburan, (3) presentasi estetis, dan (4) fungsi komunikasi. Abstract Semarang city is one of the multicultural cities in Indonesia where there are several ethnic communities that live side by side in this city. One of them is ethnic Chinese. Although it has been fused with other ethnic, the ethnic Chinese community in Semarang retain Chinese culture, one example by presenting pop music mandarin or mandarin pop songs at weddings ethnic Chinese in Semarang. The purpose of this study are: (1) Determine, analyze and describe the form of performances mandarin pop songs in the wedding party of ethnic Chinese in Semarang. (2) Determine, analyze and describe the function of mandarin pop music performances at weddings Ethnic Chinese in Semarang. Forms of presentation consists of: (1) Time of presentation, (2) Places (3) The order of presentation (4) Equipment Performance. While the order of presentation are: (1) Preparation, (2) opening, (3) Procession and Detail (4) Closure. Abstract

Masalah yang muncul dari penelitian ini adalah bagaimanakah psikologi para pemain band Sakadathu dalam musik club malam Liquid Semarang dilihat dari gaya hidup dan gaya bermusiknya. Mengetahui dan mendeskripsikanpsikologi para pemain band Sakadathu. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian kualitatif dengan memaparkan hasil penelitian secara deskriptif. Teknikpengumpulan data yang digunakandalampenelitianiniadalahobservasi,wawancara,dokumentasi, dan studi pustaka.Teknik analisis penelitian ini terbagi dalam tiga tahap yaitu reduksi data, penyajian data, menarik kesimpulan.Sakadhatu beranggotakan Inu sebagai pemegang Drum, Pungky (bass), Adhi ( gitar), Vientan (keyboard), Dino, Girda, Helga ( vocal).Psikologiparapemain band Sakadathudalam music duniamalam Liquid Semarang dilihatdarigayabermusikcukupfleksibel, tiappemainmempunyaikarakterdiridankaraktermusik yang berbeda. Intigritas yang tinggipadapekerjaannyadanmemilikisikapkesetiakawananantarsesamaanggota band.Sakadathuterbilangkurangstabildilihatdarigayahidup. Lingkungansehari-hari yang berinteraksidengankalanganatasduniamalam, hidupnyacederungmenjadiborosdanhedonis. Kata kunci: Psikologi, Gaya Hidup, Gaya Bermusik Abstract. Data collection techniques used in this study is observation, interview, documentation, and literature. Mechanical analysis of this study is divided into three stages: data reduction, data presentation, draw conclusions. Sakadhatu consists Inu as the holder Drum, Pungky (bass), Adhi (guitar), Vientan (keyboards), Dino, Girda, Helga (vocal). The psychology of the players in the music duniamalam Sakadathu band Liquid Semarang views of musical styles are quite flexible, each player has a character and character of different music. Intigritas high on the job and have an attitude of solidarity among fellow band members.Sakadathu somewhat less stable views of the lifestyle.Everyday environments that interact with the world on the night, his life tended to be extravagant and hedonist.

Abstract

Pembelajaran musik sangat penting untuk merangsang perkembangan kreativitas seseorang ataupun sebaliknya. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk menjawab dan mendeskripsikan tentang tahapan-tahapan pembelajaran yang dilakukan dalam pengembangan kreativitas musik dan hasilnya dalam pembelajaran seni budaya di SMA Negeri 1 Pati. Penelitian kualitatif dengan pendekatan etnografi melalui wawancara, observasi dan dokumentasi. Teknik analaisis data menggunakan analisis model interaktif. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa 1) pelaksanaan pembelajaran seni budaya (musik) dalam pengembangan kreativitas musik di SMA Negeri 1 Pati terdiri dari tiga hal yang dikaji yaitu perencanaan, pelaksanaan, dan penilaian, guru sudah melaksanakan dalam hal pelaksanaan dan penilaian. Dalam hal perencanaan, terdapat ketidaksesuaian yang tercermin pada rencana pelaksanaan pembelajaran (RPP). 2) Hasil pengembangan kreativitas musik dalam pembelajaran seni budaya (musik) di SMA Negeri 1 Pati dengan faktor-faktor utama dalam pembelajaran yang meliputi tugas, kerja sama kelompok, serta keseimbangan antara pemahaman dan keterampilan telah dilaksanakan dalam pembelajaran seni musik di SMA Negeri 1 Pati. Hal tersebut tercermin dengan adanya tugas-tugas yang diberikan guru dengan melibatkan keaktifan siswa melakukan kegiatan-kegiatan musik dalam pembelajaran. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian disarankan sebagai berikut: 1) Bagi siswa, hendaknya lebih telaten dan konsentrasi dalam mempelajari berbagai jenis alat musik agar lebih cepat menguasai alat musik yang diajarkan. 2) Bagi setiap guru hendaknya memiliki kreativitas yang tinggi untuk memilih dan menentukan media pembelajaran yang tepat agar dapat membangkitkan minat dan kreativitas siswa. Guru hendaknya bersikap demokrasi dengan memberikan kebebasan kepada siswa untuk berpendapat dan membiasakan siswa untuk belajar mandiri sehingga kreativitas musik siswa dapat tercipta dengan sendirinya. Sedangkan dalam hal penilaian, hendaknya guru lebih terperinci dalam membuat kriteria penilaian agar tampak terlihat tercapai atau tidaknya indikator pembelajaran.

Abstract

Pemerintah Daerah DKI Jakarta mewujudkan sebuah wilayah pelestarian budaya Betawi, kini dikenal dengan Perkampungan Budaya Betawi yang lokasinya berada di Jakarta Selatan, tepatnya di daerah Setu Babakan, kelurahan Srengseng Sawah. Dalam wilayah Perkampungan Budaya Betawi terdapat Sanggar Seni Betawi Setu Babakan, sanggar tersebut mengadakan pelatihan kesenian yang salah satunya adalah Gambang Kromong. Penelitian ini bertujuan mengetahui bagaimana perjalanan sejarah Gambang Kromong yang ada di wilayah Perkampungan Budaya Betawi ini, dan bagaimana proses enkulturasi yang berjalan di wilayah tersebut sebagai usaha pewarisan kesenian tradisi kepada generasi penerusnya. Menggunakan pendekatan penelitian deskriptif kualitatif, data diperoleh dengan teknik observasi, wawancara, dokumentasi, dan studi dokumen. Data yang diperoleh diperiksa keabsahannya dengan teknik triangulasi kemudian dianalisis dengan model deskriptif kualitatif. Hasil penelitian ini menemukan fakta bahwa musik Gambang Kromong telah ada di wilayah Setu Babakan sejak sebelum ditetapkannya Perkampungan Budaya Betawi di wilayah ini, dan proses enkulturasi kesenian Gambang Kromong terjadi melalui proses informal dan nonformal. Enkulturasi secara informal terjadi melalui proses pelaziman terhadap anak dalam keluarga dan lingkungan masyarakat. Sedangkan enkulturasi secara nonformal di Sanggar Seni Betawi Setu Babakan berjalan secara terprogram dalam ratihan rutin. Proses pewarisan Gambang Kromong di Sanggar Seni Betawi Setu Babakan dilakukan melalui tahap perkenalan, melihat, meniru, kemudian tahap pembinaan. Kata kunci: enkulturasi; gambang kromong; kebudayaan betawi Abstracts DKI Government actualizes a Betawi culture preservation area, now known as the Betawi Cultural Village which is located in South Jakarta, precisely in the area of Setu Babakan, Srengseng Sawah district. In the Betawi Cultural Village there is a Betawi Art Studio Setu Babakan. This studio held art training one of which is Gambang Kromong. This study aims to know how the Gambang Kromong history goes in this Betawi Cultural Village, moreover, how the process of enculturation goes as the effort of inheriting the art tradition to the next generation. By using descriptive qualitative research method, the data is collected by using observation, interview, documentation, and document study techniques. The validity of the collected data then being examined by using triangulation technique and analyzed by using descriptive qualitative method. The result of this study found a fact that Gambang Kromong music has been in Setu Babakan since Betawi Cultural Village hasn’t established yet, moreover, enculturation process of Gambang Kromong happened through informal and non-formal processes. Informal enculturation happens through the children’ habitually process in a family and social surroundings. Meanwhile, non-formal enculturation in Betawi Art Studio Setu Babakan goes programmatically in a daily practice. The inheriting process of Gambang Kromong at Betawi Art Studio Setu Babakan held through introduction, see, imitate, and development steps.
