Abstract

Kota Semarang merupakan salah satu kota multikultural di Indonesia dimana terdapat beberapa etnis masyarakat yang hidup berdampingan di kota ini. Salah satunya yaitu etnis Tionghoa. Meskipun telah menyatu dengan etnis lain, masyarakat etnis Tionghoa di Semarang tetap mempertahankan budaya Tionghoa, salah satu contohnya dengan menyajikan musik pop mandarin atau lagu-lagu mandarin pop pada pesta pernikahan etnis Tionghoa di Semarang. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah: (1) Mengetahui, menganalisis, dan mendeskripsikan bentuk pertunjukan lagu-lagu pop mandarin dalam pesta pernikahan etnis Tionghoa di Semarang. (2) Mengetahui, menganalisis dan mendeskripsikan fungsi pertunjukan musik pop mandarin pada pesta pernikahan Etnis Tionghoa di Semarang. Bentuk penyajian terdiri dari: (1) Waktu penyajian, (2) Tempat, (3) Urutan sajian (4) Perlengkapan Pementasan. Sedangkan urutan penyajian meliputi: (1) Persiapan, (2) Pembukaan, (3) Prosesi dan Detail (4) Penutupan. Musik pengiring yang digunakan dalam penyajian terdiri dari: (1) Midi, (2) Solo Organ, (3) Band. Judul-judul lagu pop mandarin yang disajikan dalam pesta pernikahan etnis Tionghoa adalah: (1) Yue Liang Dai Biao Wo De Xin, (2) Tian Mi Mi, (3) Lao Shu Ai Da Mi. Fungsi yang terkandung dalam pertunjukan musik pop mandarin pada pesta pernikahan Etnis Tionghoa di Semarang adalah: (1) kesinambungan budaya, (2) sarana hiburan, (3) presentasi estetis, dan (4) fungsi komunikasi. Abstract Semarang city is one of the multicultural cities in Indonesia where there are several ethnic communities that live side by side in this city. One of them is ethnic Chinese. Although it has been fused with other ethnic, the ethnic Chinese community in Semarang retain Chinese culture, one example by presenting pop music mandarin or mandarin pop songs at weddings ethnic Chinese in Semarang. The purpose of this study are: (1) Determine, analyze and describe the form of performances mandarin pop songs in the wedding party of ethnic Chinese in Semarang. Abstract

Masalah yang muncul dari penelitian ini adalah bagaimanakah psikologi para pemain band Sakadathu dalam musik club malam Liquid Semarang dilihat dari gaya hidup dan gaya bermusiknya. Mengetahui dan mendeskripsikanpsikologi para pemain band Sakadathu. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian kualitatif dengan memaparkan hasil penelitian secara deskriptif. Teknikpengumpulan data yang digunakandalampenelitianiniadalahobservasi,wawancara,dokumentasi, dan studi pustaka.Teknik analisis penelitian ini terbagi dalam tiga tahap yaitu reduksi data, penyajian data, menarik kesimpulan.Sakadhatu beranggotakan Inu sebagai pemegang Drum, Pungky (bass), Adhi ( gitar), Vientan (keyboard), Dino, Girda, Helga ( vocal).Psikologiparapemain band Sakadathudalam music duniamalam Liquid Semarang dilihatdarigayabermusikcukupfleksibel, tiappemainmempunyaikarakterdiridankaraktermusik yang berbeda. Intigritas yang tinggipadapekerjaannyadanmemilikisikapkesetiakawananantarsesamaanggota band.Sakadathuterbilangkurangstabildilihatdarigayahidup. Lingkungansehari-hari yang berinteraksidengankalanganatasduniamalam, hidupnyacederungmenjadiborosdanhedonis. Kata kunci: Psikologi, Gaya Hidup, Gaya Bermusik Abstract. Problems that arise from this research is how the psychology of the players Sakadathu band in the music club nights Liquid Semarang views of lifestyle and musical styles. Knowing and psychology description players Sakadathu band. This study uses qualitative research methods to explain the results descriptively. Data collection techniques used in this study is observation, interview, documentation, and literature. Mechanical analysis of this study is divided into three stages: data reduction, data presentation, draw conclusions. Sakadhatu consists Inu as the holder Drum, Pungky (bass), Adhi (guitar), Vientan (keyboards), Dino, Girda, Helga (vocal). The psychology of the players in the music duniamalam Sakadathu band Liquid Semarang views of musical styles are quite flexible, each player has a character and character of different music. Intigritas high on the job and have an attitude of solidarity among fellow band members.Sakadathu somewhat less stable views of the lifestyle.Everyday environments that interact with the world on the night, his life tended to be extravagant and hedonist.

Abstract

Pembelajaran musik sangat penting untuk merangsang perkembangan kreativitas seseorang ataupun sebaliknya. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk menjawab dan mendeskripsikan tentang tahapan-tahapan pembelajaran yang dilakukan dalam pengembangan kreativitas musik dan hasilnya dalam pembelajaran seni budaya di SMA Negeri 1 Pati. Penelitian kualitatif dengan pendekatan etnografi melalui wawancara, observasi dan dokumentasi. Teknik analaisis data menggunakan analisis model interaktif. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa 1) pelaksanaan pembelajaran seni budaya (musik) dalam pengembangan kreativitas musik di SMA Negeri 1 Pati terdiri dari tiga hal yang dikaji yaitu perencanaan, pelaksanaan, dan penilaian, guru sudah melaksanakan dalam hal pelaksanaan dan penilaian. Dalam hal perencanaan, terdapat ketidaksesuaian yang tercermin pada rencana pelaksanaan pembelajaran (RPP). 2) Hasil pengembangan kreativitas musik dalam pembelajaran seni budaya (musik) di SMA Negeri 1 Pati dengan faktor-faktor utama dalam pembelajaran yang meliputi tugas, kerja sama kelompok, serta keseimbangan antara pemahaman dan keterampilan telah dilaksanakan dalam pembelajaran seni musik di SMA Negeri 1 Pati. Hal tersebut tercermin dengan adanya tugas-tugas yang diberikan guru dengan melibatkan keaktifan siswa melakukan kegiatan-kegiatan musik dalam pembelajaran. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian disarankan sebagai berikut: 1) Bagi siswa, hendaknya lebih telaten dan konsentrasi dalam mempelajari berbagai jenis alat musik agar lebih cepat menguasai alat musik yang diajarkan. 2) Bagi setiap guru hendaknya memiliki kreativitas yang tinggi untuk memilih dan menentukan media pembelajaran yang tepat agar dapat membangkitkan minat dan kreativitas siswa. Guru hendaknya bersikap demokrasi dengan memberikan kebebasan kepada siswa untuk berpendapat dan membiasakan siswa untuk belajar mandiri sehingga kreativitas musik siswa dapat tercipta dengan sendirinya. Sedangkan dalam hal penilaian, hendaknya guru lebih terperinci dalam membuat kriteria penilaian agar tampak terlihat tercapai atau tidaknya indikator pembelajaran.

Abstract

Pemerintah Daerah DKI Jakarta mewujudkan sebuah wilayah pelestarian budaya Betawi, kini dikenal dengan Perkampungan Budaya Betawi yang lokasinya berada di Jakarta Selatan, tepatnya di daerah Setu Babakan, kelurahan Srengseng Sawah. Dalam wilayah Perkampungan Budaya Betawi terdapat Sanggar Seni Betawi Setu Babakan, sanggar tersebut mengadakan pelatihan kesenian yang salah satunya adalah Gambang Kromong. Penelitian ini bertujuan mengetahui bagaimana perjalanan sejarah Gambang Kromong yang ada di wilayah Perkampungan Budaya Betawi ini, dan bagaimana proses enkulturasi yang berjalan di wilayah tersebut sebagai usaha pewarisan kesenian tradisi kepada generasi penerusnya. Menggunakan pendekatan penelitian deskriptif kualitatif, data diperoleh dengan teknik observasi, wawancara, dokumentasi, dan studi dokumen. Data yang diperoleh diperiksa keabsahannya dengan teknik triangulasi kemudian dianalisis dengan model deskriptif kualitatif. Hasil penelitian ini menemukan fakta bahwa musik Gambang Kromong telah ada di wilayah Setu Babakan sejak sebelum ditetapkannya Perkampungan Budaya Betawi di wilayah ini, dan proses enkulturasi kesenian Gambang Kromong terjadi melalui proses informal dan nonformal. Enkulturasi secara informal terjadi melalui proses pelaziman terhadap anak dalam keluarga dan lingkungan masyarakat. Sedangkan enkulturasi secara nonformal di Sanggar Seni Betawi Setu Babakan berjalan secara terprogram dalam ratihan rutin. Proses pewarisan Gambang Kromong di Sanggar Seni Betawi Setu Babakan dilakukan melalui tahap perkenalan, melihat, meniru, kemudian tahap pembinaan. Kata kunci: enkulturasi; gambang kromong; kebudayaan betawi Abstracts DKI Government actualizes a Betawi culture preservation area, now known as the Betawi Cultural Village which is located in South Jakarta, precisely in the area of Setu Babakan, Srengseng Sawah district. In the Betawi Cultural Village there is a Betawi Art Studio Setu Babakan. This studio held art training one of which is Gambang Kromong. This study aims to know how the Gambang Kromong history goes in this Betawi Cultural Village, moreover, how the process of enculturation goes as the effort of inheriting the art tradition to the next generation. By using descriptive qualitative research method, the data is collected by using observation, interview, documentation, and document study techniques. The validity of the collected data then being examined by using triangulation technique and analyzed by using descriptive qualitative method. The result of this study found a fact that Gambang Kromong music has been in Setu Babakan since Betawi Cultural Village hasn’t established yet, moreover, enculturation process of Gambang Kromong happened through informal and non-formal processes. Informal enculturation happens through the children’ habitually process in a family and social surroundings. Meanwhile, non-formal enculturation in Betawi Art Studio Setu Babakan goes programmatically in a daily practice. The inheriting process of Gambang Kromong at Betawi Art Studio Setu Babakan held through introduction, see, imitate, and development steps.

Abstract

The last few years in Semarang emergence a phenomenon of marching band unit raging from community organizations, universities and school environment, so that the unit of the newly established marching band can manage their unit. This study aims to: (1) knowing the purpose, methods and materials Diklatsar SKUMB; (2) Determine the ability to play music SKUMB members after attending basic training. The method used is a qualitative method, so this is a descriptive study that provides an overview as carefully as possible about matters under investigation. Data collection techniques in this study using observation, interview and documentation. Technique authenticity of data is done by triangulation techniques, and data analysis conducted in stages, data reduction, data presentation and conclusion or verification. The results showed that (1) Interest Diklatsar SKUMB is Increasing levels of experience and knowledge of students about the marching band; Improving student knowledge about management and the implementation of UKM’s; Improving the quality of work of the marching band; Improving leadership for participants of activities. (2) Educational materials basic training SKUMB includes elements of appearance (display and charts) as well as the skills of playing music (rhythm, melody, and harmony; (3) Ability to play music member SKUMB after attending basic training is successfully playing songs training materials in which includes the ability plays rhythm, melody and harmony.

Abstract

Meditation is a step to know yourself for the good and balance life. It’s can be helped with used music for media called ambient music. In Semarang there is a musical group that plays ambient music named Dinding Kota. The purpose of this study to describe how to create an ambient that can be used as a medium meditation which has benefited as information for the public to know the ambient function. This research uses qualitative descriptive method with data collection in the form of interview, observation, and documentation. In making the ambient group has nine steps Dinding Kota in the form of contempatation, choose a background, choose themes and concept, choose an instrument, select pedal effect, set the pedal effect, set amplifier, and make ambientpart and ambient notes. The use of ambient as a medium of meditation done using headphone or a headset with a body sitting cross legged posisition or lying down and focus on listening to ambient music. Ambient is a type of music which resulted in another dimension there that may effect one’s thoughts and suggestios with the sound echoing hum’s that can be used as a medium of meditation.

Abstract

The researcher wants to know about the form and purpose of the ryhme of those songs that still being used at GBI Wanamukti, the problem formulation of this research are : (1). what type of song structure analysis of The Book of Nyanyian Pujian that is still being used at GBI Wanamukti Semarang? (2). what is the meaning that lies behind the rhyme in The Book of Nyanyian Pujian that is still being used at GBI Wanamukti Semarang?. The researcher used Qualitative Descriptive as the research method. The result of this research aim to know that "Jangan Aku Dilalu" NP 129, "Berkati Persembahanku" NP 359, "Bapa, Antarlah Kami" NP 360 are the songs that often being used at GBI Wanamukti Semaarang. "Jangan Aku Dilalui" NP 129 is a song with 2-piece structured pattern A (a a') and B (a b'). "Berkati Persembahanku" NP 359 has 1-piece with pattern A(a a'). "Bapa, Antarlah Kami" has 1-piece with pattern A (a a'). The meaning of the song "Jangan Aku Dilalui" NP 129 is about request to God to hear the church prayers as well as the recognition of God as the only hope of giving relief to the church. The meaning of "Berkati Persembahanku" song NP 359 is about regarding the request to God to bless the offering made for the church, as well as an acknowledgment that God is the main factor determining the success of the community. The song "Bapa, Antarlah Kami" NP 360 has the meaning of a request to the Lord to be with the congregation as they finished worship and will return to their respective homes.

Abstract

ABSTRACT Researchers make the formulation of problems that can be studied in this research is "(1) How to use software pro tools as recording learning media at purnomo music school, (2) apasajakah supporting factor and drawing of recording learning in purnomo music school. The purpose of this research is to know, medikanripsikan and analyze (1) utilization of software pro tools as recording learning media at purnomo music school, (2) supporting and inhibiting factor of learning recording at purnomo music school. This research uses qualitative approach. Data collection techniques include observation, interviews, and documentation. Data analysis is performed using data reduction, data presentation and drawing conclusions or verification. The result of the research is learning recording at Purnomo Music School for 3 months with the intensity of meeting once a week and using lecture, demonstration and question and answer method. Utilization Software Pro Tools as learning media is done with three stages namely (1) planning, Purnomo Music School has a careful planning before implementing learning recording first to prepare curriculum and learning modules; (2) implementation, recording learning in Purnomo School of Music performed in two stages. First with the preparation of music equipment and computers or laptops that are done during the learning and the second stage is the teacher or teacher to do the introduction of the tool then demonstrate how to record, mix and make music composition; (3) evaluation, evaluation is done by the teacher at the end of the learning process that is after the participants of the course follow the training for 3 months. Supporting factors in learning recording are (1) the demands in terms of music technology in the digital era; (2) the existence of youtube media as media of music development; And (3) the background of the supportive course participants. The inhibiting factors in learning recording are (1) the difference of the participants' intelligence; (2) lack of interest in theoretical learning; (3) lack of motivation of course participants in learning; (4) a less supportive environment; (5) lack of consistency of learners in meeting the schedule of the course; (6) changing the mood of course participants in learning peroses; And (7) a power outage. Suggestions that can be submitted are (1) to the manager / owner of Music School Purnomo need to evaluate the implementation of recording class course so that it can apply promotion strategy to attract more candidate course participants; (2) to instructors / instructors need to learn and apply learning methods that can improve the motivation and mood of the course participants; (3) to the participants of the course is expected to improve motivation and mood in learning recording. Abstract

Penelitian ini mengkaji tentang ekspresi musikal khususnya tentang karakteristik permainan musik saxophone Kaori Kobayashi. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah: (1) mendeskripsikan jenis lagu yang dimainkan oleh Kaori Kobayashi; (2) mendeskripsikan karakteristik ekspresi musikal yang ditunjukkan melalui melodi lagu, improvisasi, dinamik, dan aspek lain: gerak, suara, rupa, pelaku, pada permainan musik saxophone Kaori Kobayashi. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukan bahwa jenis lagu cover yang dibawakan oleh Kaori Kobayashi dimainkan dengan tempo larghetto (50-55 BPM), lento (45-60 BPM), dan tempo cepat atau allegretto (116-120 BPM). Genre musik yang dimainkan adalah smoothjazz, popjazz, dan softrock. Aspek penjiwaan di ungkapkan melalui suara yang dihasilkan dari jenis tiupannya dan ekspresi mimik wajah, serta penggunaan tiupan staccato pada saat membawakan lagu bertempo cepat. Karakteristik permainan musik saxophone dari Kaori Kobayashi dilihat dari aspek melodi lagu terlihat dari warna suara yang menggunakan jenis alat musik aerophone yaitu saxophone, menggunakan nada dasar G dan A dalam tangga nada saxophone, permainan modulasi nada juga dipakai dalam permainannya, serta ornamen dan nilai nada yang sering digunakan adalah not bernilai ½ dan ¼ ketuk. Aspek improvisasi terlihat dari progresi akord dan tangga nada, Kaori Kobayashi lebih banyak menggunakan not seperenambelasan, dengan ada variasi dibeberapa bagian yang menggunakan not seperdelapanan. Jangkauan nada yang digunakan Kai Kobayashi nada terendah adalah d¹, dan nada tertinggi improvisasi adalah d². Aspek dinamika permainan musik Kaori Kobayashi dimulai dari dinamika sangat lembut (pianissimo) ke tiupan keras (f= forte), dengan variasi penggunaan dinamika sesuai dengan karakteristik lagu yang dimainkan.

Abstract

The Result of this research shows that:(1) Polaritme found in all of musical instruments of Terbang Jidur played by Gapura Sejati Group and the musical pattern that judged by the differences of the musical instruments but they sounds very harmony (2) The melody used in song entitled “Sola” and “Tanaqol” all of them using vocal melody, in this case means that there are no instruments played as a melody instrument which used by Gapura Sejati Group.(3) “Sola” song has 3 parts, A-B-C, which are A – B – B – C – C. “Sola” has a sequence A(a,x), B (b,y), C (c,z). While “Tanaqol” song has 4 parts, A-B-C-D, which are A – B – B – C – C – D - D. In “Tanaqol” song has a sequence like this A(a,x), B (b,y), B’ (b’,y’), C (c,z), C (c,z), C’(c’,z’), D (d,xx), D’ (d,xx). (4) The Rhymes in “Sola” dan “Tanaqol” using arabic language and tells us the story about prophet Muhammad SAW.
