Abstract

Abstract. Excavation of tunnels in underground mines is quite a complex job, because it will give a change in balance from rock conditions that can be failure. This research was conducted to determine rock strength, rock mass class, and open  hole stability based on the potential of wedge debris by estimating the Safety Factor (FS) value of the planned tunnel. Based on the RMR-System method, the value for coal is 49 points, where this rock is included in class III (fair rock) with maximum stand up time is 310 hours  (±13 days) for 3m of span. The results of the RMR ground support recommends using Rock bolt with a diameter of 20 mm, fully grounted length 4 m, and spacing 1.5-2 m. Another alternative is to use a Class V wooden stand. Based on the results, the value of safety factor (FS) on the roof (siltstone) is 1,944, FS on the left wall (Coal) is 1,346, and the right wall (Coal) is 4,067. From the results of rock reinforcement using the RMR-System ground support recommendations, the result is an increase in the Safety Factor (FS) value from the value of 1,346 to 2,377 so that the wedge is more stable.Keywords:  Tunnel, Safety Factor (FS), RMR System , Stand-Up Time, Ground Support.

Abstract

Penelitian ini berawal dari pengamatan peneliti terhadap kecelakaan kerja yang terjadi pada pertambangan emas rakyat di Kabupaten Sijunjung. Tingkat kecelakaan kerja yang tinggi merupakan suatu permasalahan yang harus diselesaikan. Selain itu, pertambangan rakyat juga menyisakan beberapa permasalahan antara lain masih tingginya tingkat kekeruhan sungai akibat pertambangan emas rakyat, masih banyaknya penambangan yang tidak sesuai dengan aturan perizinan pertambangan dan lahan pascatambang yang tidak reklamasi. Pengetahuan penambangan tentang keselamatan dan kesehatan kerja menjadi faktor yang mengurangi kecelakaan kerja, dapat diartikan bahwa pengetahuan pekerja tambang merupakan bagian penting bagi para pekerja sebagai bentuk tanggapan terhadap keselamatan dan kesehatan kerja yang dipengaruhi oleh pengetahuan masing-masing pekerja tersebut. Oleh karena itu, penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui bagaimana gambaran tentang kegiatan pertambangan emas rakyat dan bagaimana pengaruh antara pengetahuan pekerja tambang tentang keselamatan dan kesehatan kerja dengan frekuensi kecelakaan kerja pada penambangan emas rakyat di Kenagarian Palangki Kecamatan IV Nagari Kabupaten Sijunjung. Penelitian ini bersifat deskriptif dengan menggunakan analisis regresi linear berganda. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan “terdapat pengaruh yang signifikan antara variable X1, X2 dan X3 secara bersama-sama terhadap Variabel Y”. Variabel yang paling dominan dalam mempengaruhi variabel Y secara parsial adalah variabel X1 yaitu pengetahuan umum pekerja tambang tentang keselamatan dan kesehatan kerja. Artinya semakin baik tingkat pengetahuan pekerja tambang tentang keselamatan dan kesehatan kerja maka semakin rendah frekuensi kecelakaan kerja

Abstract

Abstract. Madhani Talatah Nusantara Company Site 037C Gendang Timburu is a contractor in the mining concession PKP2B Kalimantan Energi Lestari Company were located in Gendang Timburu village, Durian River District, Kotabaru, South Kalimantan Province. The implementation of mining activities requires for good planning, with the aim of providing a large profit for the company. Mining equipments productivity are the main thing that plays a role in supporting the company's production. Mining activities are carried out by blasting and ripping processes to achieve production targets. Among the excavation methods have differences in productivity and economy. So based on the background  above, the  research is conducted with the aim of seeing the technical costs differences in the of using both of  the method. From the results of the study, it was found that in the ripping activitis using of D9R bulldozer type heavy equipment, the cost of using Liebher R-9250 hydraulic excavator was obtained with a large operating cost in the rock grading activity of Rp. 7.299,90/ bcm with total profits after revenue reduction namely Rp. 22.437,10/bcm. Whereas by using the blasting method with the type MD6290 and using a loading device, namely the hydraulic excavator R-9250, the operational costs of Rp 7.508,68/bcm with a profit of Rp. 21.113,32/bcm..    Keywords:  Produktifitas, Ripping, Blasting, Economi, Coal.

Abstract

Coal is a source of energy used as fuel. PT. Atoz Nusantara Mining is a coal mining company located in Nagari Tambang IV Jurai Pasisr Selatan. Currently coal mining activities are less effective because they are low in caloric value. Low calorie coal is piled up in stockpile and not sold. To be marketed, need to increase the value of calories or processing to be sold and utilized. Sawdust waste creates problems in handling and has not been optimally utilized. The waste is left to rot and be burned by sawmill or wood worker. Research with this method uses sawdust with the aim that low-calorie coal mixed with sawdust can be used. Based on the results of the study it can be concluded that the mixing of coal with sawdust can increase the calorific value of coal which in the sample 1 calorie coal 2186 cal / gr with a ratio of 25:75 to 3915 cal / gr. In the sample 2 calories of coal 4298 cal / gr with a ratio of 75:25 to 4249 cal / gr. In the sample 3 calories of coal 1757 cal / gr with a ratio of 25:75 to 3700 cal / gr. Other parameters such as water content, ash content, flying substances and sulfur content also changed, in sample 1 moisture in analysis 6.28% with a ratio of 75:25 to 4.32%; ash content 54.68% with a ratio of 25:75 to 10.66%; volatile matter 8.50% with a ratio of 75:25 to 29.28%; sulfur 0.55% with a ratio of 25:75 to 0.16%. In sample 2 moisture in analysis was 5.80% with a ratio of 75:25 to 4.46%; ash content 37.40% with a ratio of 25:75 to 11.33%; volatile matter 6.60% with a ratio of 75:25 to 26.79%; sulfur 1.17% with a ratio of 25:75 to 0.29%. In sample 3 moisture in analysis was 6.02% with a ratio of 75:25 to 4.28%; ash content 61.91% with a ratio of 25:75 to 15.65%; volatile matter 6.32% with a ratio of 75:25 to 30.48%; sulfur 1.17% with a ratio of 25:75 to 0.09%. Keywords: coal, low-calorie, sawdust, waste of sawdust, fuel

Abstract

PT Koto Alam Sejahtera is one private company engaged in the mining of andesite stone with open pit mining with quarry method. Located in Jorong Polong Duo Kenagarian Koto Alam District Pangkalan Koto Baru District Lima Puluh City Province West Sumatra. The purpose of this research is to analyze the performance of the crushing plant and other obstacles encountered during production activities. One of the steps to be taken so that the desired target company can be fulfilled is to rearrange the CSS (close side setting) on the cone crusher. To determine the actual capacity cone crusher then done by doing beltcut test beltcut test. Beltcut test is one type of tool capacity testing on belt conveyor, with the aim of knowing the amount (tonnase) and efficiency of the crushing plant. With the results obtained from the beltcut test, it is hoped that it can be used as a basis handliig crushing plant in the future. Currently the total production generated from the crushing result is 111,12 ton / hour or 17.574,20 ton / month, with the CSS size setting on the 45 mm for cone crusher I and 18 mm for cone crusher II. This amount is considered not able to meet the target set by the company that is as much as 23.000 tons / month in February. After the analysis, the total production was 155.98 ton/haur or 24.669,99 ton/mounth with 56 mm size of CSS cone crusher I and 26 mm for cone crusher II.Keywords: quarry method,  crushing plant, close side setting, beltcut test, efficiency

Abstract

Abstract. Based on observations made on Sicincin-Malalak street KM 33 have been found 12th failure point with various conditions and types of failure. In addition, the geometry of the slope, high intensity of the earthquake and rainfall greatly affect to the condition of slope stability. The research was done on rock  slope with many joints, steep geometry, and many rockfalls. From these problem, we need to measure the physical characteristic, compressive strength and rock mass condition in research area using Rock Mass Rating (RMR) classification. Furthermore, the analysis of potential failure in the research area doing using dips to know the type of failure and then analyzed the stability of the slope using the limit equilibrium  method.  The results of rock mass classification with RMR obtained rocks included in Group II which means rock mass in good condition. Analysis using dips in get type of failure is toppling failure with possibly 15,53% with failure stike = N 225 E - N 285 E and dip = 15° - 90°. Furthermore, slope stability analysis was performed using the equilibrium limiting method for toppling failure and obtained FK values of slope is 1,58 which means that the slope is stable but still need protection from rock fall with construction of ditch and wiremesh instalation.Keyword: Failure, limit equilibrium method, toppling, slope stability, RMR

Abstract

Abstract. PT Pama Persada Nusantara is a company engaged in mining, in the process of coal mining, the company realizes that the frequency of risk of possible work accidents is very high. Events that occur unexpectedly in the process of mining activities, lack of employee awareness of PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) and the importance of signs in the mining area is one of the evaluation materials in occupational safety and health in minimizing mining accidents related to employees. For this reason, it is necessary to conduct research and studies on occupational safety and health to create safe conditions, avoid unsafe actions and supervision of every activity. Thus, the risk to each element involved in mining activities can be minimized especially in the Operations area . Abstract

PT. Semen Padang has 4 units of crushing plant there are crusher II, IIIA, IIIB, and VI. Production of limestone crusher in April 2017 is 692,755 tons, while the target of limestone crusher production is 804,749 tons so the target of limestone crusher production in PT. Semen Padang in April 2017 was not achieved. This is caused of the target crusher working hours are not achieved, frequent improvements in the crusher, and the change of usage belt conveyor lines. The purpose of this research is to get the performance value of crushing plant and belt conveyor, get the production capacity of belt conveyor, reveal the ideal crusher working system so we can get the ideal limestone crusher production.This research was combined between theory with field data, then we can get the problem solving approach, and the result of data processing will be analyzed for subsequent to be generated a recommendation.Based on the research result can be concluded. First, the performance of crushing plant and belt conveyor is not optimal because the work efficiency of limestone crusher II is 26,20%, crusher IIIA is 21,54%, and crusher IIIB is 28,33%. Second, the minimum production capacity of the belt conveyor is 1,409.7 tons/hour. Third, the ideal crusher working hours is 672 hours in a month so that the production of limestone crusher 810,992 tons in a month.

Abstract

bstrak— Kegiatan pengabdian Program Kemitraan Masyaraka (PKM) dengan judul PEMBERDAYAANWANITA MELALUI PEMBUDIDAYAAN JAMUR DI DESA KAMPUNG KANDANGKECAMATAN PARIAMAN TIMUR, PARIAMAN, SUMATERA BARAT ini bertujuan untukmemberdayakan sekelompok masyarakat yang tidak produktif menjadi masyarakat yang mandiri secaraekonomi. Proses pemberdayaan masyarakat khususnya ibu-ibu rumah tanggga yang tergabung dalamkelompok Program Kesejahteraan Keluarga (PKK) dan Kelompok Wanita Tani (KWT) Desa KampungKandang Kecamatan Pariaman Timur Pariaman akan dilaksanakan dengan memberikan pelatihan danbimbingan bagi ibu-ibu rumah tangga anggota PKK dan KWT untuk dapat ilmu pengetahuan bagaimana carapembudidayaan jamur tiram. Untuk membudidayakan jamur tiram ini tidaklah sulit dan tidak membutuhkanbiaya yang banyak. Sehingga ibu-ibu rumah tangga tidak membutuhkan modal yang terlalu besar. Untukterlaksananya program PKM ini, maka pelatihan dan bimbingan pembudidayaan jamur tiram ini akan diberikanoleh narasumber yang merupakan lulusan dari Pendidikan Teknik Bangunan UNP yang berwirausaha dalampembudidayaan jamur tiram, yaitu “Jamur Tiram Kuranji”. Target dari kegiatan ini adalah semua masyarakatDesa Kampung Kandang Kecamatan Pariaman Timur khususnya ibu-ibu rumah tangga diharapkan mampumandiri secara ekonomi menjadi masyarakat yang lebih sejahtera dan menjadi desa percontohan.Kata Kunci: Pembudidayaan Jamur Tiram, PKK, KWT

Abstract

Abstract. Labor is every person who is able to do work to produce goods or services to meet needs. Economic sector activities and urban planning have important relationships in the development plan. Gross Regional Domestic Product (GRDP) is one of the references that can be used in determining the ability of economic resources and shows the rate of economic growth so that the economic base sector of a region is known. The problem raised in this study is that urban development planning in Karimun Regency is not in accordance with the activities of the economic sector which is the base sector.The research method used in this study is the LQ (Location Quotient) Analysis which is to analyze the potential or base sector in the economy in an area,  namely the entire workforce and GRDP according to the main employment sector and the sample, which is based on labor data in nine main employment sectors and GRDP at current prices with data for 2011-2015 for the Karimun Regency and Riau Islands Province. The results obtained in this study are the first Agricultural sector plays a role as a base sector in economic growth in Karimun Regency, then the second base sector is the Construction sector.  Keywords: Labor,  economic sector, city planning, GRDP, LQ Analysis
