Abstract

Abstract. — PT. Manggala Usaha Manunggal is a contractor company that trusted to do coal mining by PT. Banjarsari Pribumi in Merapi Timur, Lahat Regency, South Sumatera. PT. Manggala Usaha Manunggal using open pit mining method. At the crest area of highwall section B there is the pile of overburden materials. Slope stability analysis using the Monte Carlo probabilistic method, the factor of safety and probability of failure for the recommendation of  slope geometry will be obtained using Bishop Simplified method. As the results are the result of slope stability analysis on highwall section B shown that there is no decrease in slope stability where the value of factor before and after being given additional load is the same, that is 3,017 and the probability of Failure is 0% .

Abstract

Abstract. Labor is every person who is able to do work to produce goods or services to meet needs. Economic sector activities and urban planning have important relationships in the development plan. Gross Regional Domestic Product (GRDP) is one of the references that can be used in determining the ability of economic resources and shows the rate of economic growth so that the economic base sector of a region is known. The problem raised in this study is that urban development planning in Karimun Regency is not in accordance with the activities of the economic sector which is the base sector.The research method used in this study is the LQ (Location Quotient) Analysis which is to analyze the potential or base sector in the economy in an area,  namely the entire workforce and GRDP according to the main employment sector and the sample, which is based on labor data in nine main employment sectors and GRDP at current prices with data for 2011-2015 for the Karimun Regency and Riau Islands Province. The results obtained in this study are the first Agricultural sector plays a role as a base sector in economic growth in Karimun Regency, then the second base sector is the Construction sector.  Keywords: Labor,  economic sector, city planning, GRDP, LQ Analysis

Abstract

PT. Bukit Asam Tbk has a stockpile, one of which is in the OPB 4 area which is located in West Banko, Tanjung Enim, South Sumatra. stockpile data in May the percentage of load in in stockpile 4 has an achievement value of 77% and an achievement value of 83% load out in TLS 4. The final stock in the books on May 29, 2021 is 18,987.90 tons, but based on the measurement results of the final stock survey data is 793.85 tons. This thin stock affects the filling time of coal to trains in TLS 4 which can cause losses to the company if it experiences a long waiting time. Therefore, safety stock is needed as a safety stock if the stock is thin. Based on the results of research and analysis conducted at the research location which resulted in productivity and frequency of obstacles in the OPB 4 area, the productivity value of CHF 4 was 57.8% while in TLS 4 it was 54.9%. The average effective ultillize value for January 2021 - May 2021 is 56% for CHF 4 and 50% on TLS 4. The results obtained that the required safety stock value in the stockpile 4 area is 24,612,775 tons, with a stockpile management system that has a stockpile pattern at stockpile 4 is Chevron. Coal unloading system with FIFO (First In First Out) for the process of getting in and out of coal on the stockpile.

Abstract

Abstract. PT. Dasrat Sarana Arang Sejati is an underground coal mining company located in Batu Tanjung Village, Talawi District, Sawahlunto City, West Sumatra. PT. Dasrat Sarana Charcoal Sejati has implemented occupational safety and health (K3) in its mining activities, but the implementation is still not optimal. This is due to the lack of signs and K3 posters in every branch of the mining tunnel, the use of personal protective equipment (PPE) is not optimal, some workers do not comply with company regulations resulting in work accidents, the need for revision of job safety analysis (JSA) and operational standards. existing procedures (SOP), as well as making the required JSAs and SOPs. The K3 evaluation that has been implemented uses a questionnaire with a knowledge value of 66.2, an attitude value of 66.3, and an action value of 58.1. Where the overall results of the questionnaire with an average value of 63.5. If the value is adjusted based on the Likert scale, it is in a good range (49-64). Revised and made JSA and SOP on gas checking activities in the work area, jack hammer operation, production activities, buffer maintenance, and coal transportation to the stockpile.

Abstract

CV. Tekad Jaya has a Production Operation Mining Business Permit (IUP) for limestone excavation on an area of 6.5 hectares located in Jorong Bulakan, Nagari Tanjung Gadang, Lareh Sago Halaban District, Limapuluh Kota Regency, West Sumatra Province. On CV. Tekad Jaya there is an avalanche that occurs on the slopes of the disposal heap. The avalanche is assumed to be an arc avalanche with the initial slope geometry before the avalanche is 72o and a height of 44 meters. The landslide resulted in disruption of production activities due to the position of the disposal area being above the production area. To avoid landslides in the future and to get the ideal slope geometry, a thorough geotechnical study is needed and what method will be used. Based on the results of research and analysis conducted at the research location, the value of geotechnical parameters after the parameters of the physical and mechanical properties of the slope material were tested, namely the natural bulk weight of 11,94 kN/m3, the dry weight of 10,24 kN/m3, and the saturated weight of 13,48 kN/m3. While the cohesion value is 52.147 kN/m3, and the internal shear angle is 24.45o. The FK value based on the parameter values of the physical-mechanical properties of soil samples in the laboratory is the slope safety factor value in dry conditions is 1.171 and in saturated conditions is 1.002. The results of the study obtained that the safety factor (SF) value of the overall slope geometry recommendation with a slope height of  44 meters and a slope angle of 48o for dry conditions according to the Bishop Simplified method was 1,49, while according to the Hoek and Bray method was 1,89. And for the saturated condition, the safety factor (SF) value obtained according to the Bishop Simplified method is 1.304, while according to the Hoek and Bray method, it is 1.19.

Abstract

Abstract. In 2018 the slope in the exisiting front II area will experience rocky weathering where the landslide that has been identified is in the form of an avalanche. The method used in this research is the bishop method and the hoek & bray method. As a result of the study, the following conclusions are made. First Results FK values are based on parameter values of physical-mechanical properties with slope geometry. With a safety factor value in dry conditions of 1.947, in the half-saturated condition of 1.793 and in the saturation condition of 1,514 . second landslides that occurred were bow avalanches. The three results of the analysis behind the landslide are cohesion value of 124 kN / m2 and shear angle in 24 °. Third during dry conditions with fk by using methods bishop 1.471 single slope and fk overall slope 1,339 by using Hoek and Bray 2,34. with saturated conditions fk value using the bishop 1.416  single slope and fk overall slope 1,337 and the hoek and bray method 2,34. in a half-saturated condition fk value using the bishop method fk value 1,391 single slope and fk overall slope 1,398  and by using the hoek and bray method fk value 2,34.

Abstract

Abstract. Natural disasters in recent years are very common and need preparedness, awareness and vigilance in the face of disaster, especially in the city of Solok, starting from earthquakes, landslides and other. To reduce the risk of disaster management is required in accordance with law number 24 year 2007 about disaster management.The absence of disaster mitigation training provided for students in particular SMA N 3 Solok and less optimal students ' role/young generation in disaster mitigation because students have not had the knowledge to mitigate make the dedication to conduct training mitigation and preparedness of disaster to them so that the participants understand about how mitigation and preparedness. This training is provided in the form of lectures, discussions, and field practices.After training was obtained the increase of knowledge about the mitigation of natural disasters by the students SMAN 3 Solok. At pre-training (before training) only 65.8% of students who understand the mitigation of natural disasters and at the time of post-training increased to 96.2% of students understand the mitigation of natural disasters..Keywords: Natural disasters, disaster management, mitigation and preparedness

Abstract

abstrack .This study aims to obtain an effort to increase the effective working time to achieve production targets and to obtain the need for loading and unloading equipment and transportation equipment needed to reduce waiting time by using queue theory at PT Bakapindo mining. Mining at PT Bakapindo is carried out using the quarry method, PT Bakapindo's production in May was 11837 tons/month and this did not meet the set target of 25,000 tons/month, digging tools used in PT Bakapindo 1 unit CAT 320 excavator and 2 units Mitsubishi Fuso 220 Ps, the productivity obtained from this tool is 15769.35 tons/month. By improving the efficiency of work time which can be increased to 84% and improving the composition of the tool, 1 unit of CAT 320 equipment can serve 3 units of Mitsubishi Fuso 220 Ps, so the productivity is 33028.67 tons/month. The results of this study indicate that the effective working time and working compatibility of mechanical tools are actually not maximized.

Abstract

Abstract. One of the biggest financing components in mining companies, especially coal mining, is production costs, while have contribution of> 20% in total mining costs. On the other hand the production process is the main process in mining, becaus this activity will produce commodities. Heavy equipment is a major component in the production process, the selection of heavy equipment is a determining factor in the calculation of production costs. Methods of procurement of heavy equipment are important in the calculation of production costs, in general there are 3 commonly used heavy equipment procurement methods, namely the direct purchase method (cash), the credit method (leasing), and the rental method. Each method requires a different investment value from each other. In the principle of investment, which is considered as a profitable investment is an investment that provides the greatest returns, it can be in the form of the net present value (NPV) and the largest interest rate ratio (IRR) which is greater than the bank interest rate. Changing commodity values, and rising and falling fuel prices, will affect the investment value of the heavy equipment procurement process, sensitivity analysis is important to know in which conditions the investment is still profitable. Based on the deterministic sensitivity analysis, it can be seen that commodity prices are the most influential parameter on investment returns, while fuel prices do not significantly affect investment returns. The procurement method used is also not affected by changes in investment parameters, the method of procurement of cash is the best option, with a large initial investment value.Keywords: Deterministic Sensivity Analysis, Net Preset Value (NPV), Heavy Equipment, Investment, Coal Mining, Spider Web

Abstract

PT. Bakapindo is a private mining company engaged in limestone mining, currently planning a new land clearing called Pit 2 Nambalau. This area has an area of 15 hectares, with a total exploration reserve of 10,315,455.50 tons and a production target of 300,000 tons per year. However, from the results of field observations, it was found that there was no grouping of cash in and cash out budgets and there was no investment feasibility study at Pit 2 Nambalau, therefore, NPV, BCR and PP methods were used to obtain an investment feasibility study. The method used in conducting this research uses the type of quantitative research. This is because in future research, data will be used in the form of numbers. The research was conducted by grouping cash flows both with tables and graphics, calculating the NPV value, calculating the BCR value, calculating the PP value, and calculating the MF of the digging and loading equipment. Based on the results of the research that the author did using 3 cash flow designs, the NPV value was Rp. 671.112.469.799,- with BCR of 3.561 and PBP for 1.12 years on cash flow A, which is cash flow with gradient costs and gradient benefits increasing. Meanwhile, in cash flow B with an increasing gradient of benefits, the NPV value is Rp. 766.820.708.490,- with a BCR of 5.63 and a PBP of 1.09 years. Meanwhile, in cash flow C with an increasing cost gradient, the NPV value is Rp. 261.459.829.799, - with a BCR of 2.00 and a PBP of 1.24 years. So based on the calculations that have been done, it can be concluded that pit 2 Nambalau is economically feasible to mine. And for the MF value obtained 0.88 with the need for 1 unit of excavator and 2 units of dumptruck.
