Abstract

Small and medium enterprises or commonly referred to as SMEs in Indonesia are business activities that are in great demand after the economic crisis which resulted in the termination of employment (PHK) experienced by most companies. The role of SMEs in the Indonesian economy has now been recognized by the wider community. However, many SMEs in Indonesia are still running their business processes separately, especially in the accounting system, so that the business processes are running poorly, financial transactions that are still recorded and reported manually and separately, sales/purchase account items that are still recorded manually, and there's no system that supports the accounting process for SMEs.The output from this research is an Open Source ERP-based Smart SME system design in the accounting module by embedding the "smart" feature, namely analytic accounting. This design expected to be the standard and best practice in the SME accounting system so that SME's actors can create and get more structured financial reports and can design an integrated system that supports a real-time data management system. The research method used in this research uses the Service Oriented Architecture (SOA) approach. This method also refers to certain services on one platform such as services for making payments, transferring payments, and checking the status of a bank account in one application. In general, all the research processes carried out refer to the step by step of SOA and there must be input and output in designing the business model. This method is used to design business process models and services based on the accounting system problems experienced by SMEs.

Abstract

Benchmarking is a method to improve performance and improve company competitiveness. Thismethod has been commonly practiced by large companies and has recently been extended tosmall and medium enterprises (SMEs). However, the implementation between large and SMEsis very different. These differences are debated as an impact of company characteristics, specifically differences in the ability to develop and improve business. Typical SMEs face toughchallenges to overcome their resource constraints. This limitation affects the decisions of SMEsin choosing their comparison partners. This research was conducted to fill the research gapregarding the use of the Benchmarking method and the AHP approach to SMEs, especially indetermining Benchmark partners using the AHP approach. The use of benchmarking and AHPis illustrated by using SME objects that are engaged in the fashion sector, namely UKMCotton.Go. The problem faced by UKM Cotton.Go is marketing communication that is noteffective in creating sales so it needs to be determined benchmarking partner in makingimprovements to marketing communication. The use of AHP in determining benchmark partnershelps SMEs to find out which benchmark partners have the best marketing communicationperformance.

Abstract

PT.XYZ is a company in the Telecommunication Industry. Due to increase theproduct sales, PT.XYZ performed an annual project to build network infrastructureto the uncovered network areas, called the STTF project. As a project owner, conducting a high performance of scope validation is very crucial to make sure thequality of the result meets requirements. However, the previous project result hasshown to the unsatisfactory result, i.e. titled pole resulting in high cable attenuationand over budget. To see the extent of the performance and effectiveness of thevalidation process, an evaluation of the current validate scope process is necessary. One of the methods is by comparing the operational implementation in the currentSTTF project against the project management standard to ensure the processperformed effectively. Data collected using a questionnaire based on PMBOK 6thed. standard processes using a self-assessment survey, and two project locations arechosen as a comparative sample. Abstract

Competition in the textile industry is very high. Companies must be able to meet market needs byproducing goods according to demand. In producing an item, it is necessary to design the amount ofraw material required. This study aims to publish geographic information system (GIS) basedapplication design as a tool in resource management. This application is named ManTool. ManToolcan provide a reminder when raw material stocks run out. With this system, the company can orderraw materials, and the production system continues to run well. This system is designed based on aGeographical Information System (GIS), it is easier for companies to determine which supplier ofraw materials to choose. The method of making this system is by using the waterfall method. Thismethod produces the right system because each stage is identified sequentially. The result of thisresearch is a geographic information system-based application. With this application, the companywill get a notification when the raw material runs out, and the company will get the right supplier'srecommendation to buy raw material.

Abstract

Wedding organizers, as one of the creative industries, often participate in a trade show as one of themarketing mediums. Many wedding-related trades show events are held every year. But the cost toparticipate in one trade show event is quite expensive and increases from time to time. Thus, beforedeciding to participate in a trade show, it is important to evaluate whether the trade show events arerecommended to join or not. The purpose of this study is to design a decision support system thatwill help the wedding organizer to decide their participation in a trade show. The decision modelwas constructed using AHP and TOPSIS methods. There are seven factors considered in the model,i.e., tradeshow location, reputation and professionalism of the organizer, cost estimation, trade showprestige, tenant reputation, time of the event, the attractiveness of the event. By using the AHPmethod, the priority weight of each factor was calculated. Moreover, the weight obtained will beused in developing a decision model combined with the TOPSIS method. The decision supportsystem was developed afterward by using the SCRUM method. The feature of the system isdiscussed in the paper

Abstract

Since a few years ago, blended learning has been implemented by UNUSA. However, until now, theimplementation is still not optimal. Various obstacles, such as network access, availability ofdevices, and unclear rules in implementing online learning, still occur. Readiness analysis is one ofthe critical success in online learning implementation. The main objective of this research is toconduct online learning readiness studies at UNUSA. This research was carried out in three mainstages: the preparation of measurement instruments, data collection, and analysis of readiness level. The method used is descriptive research method with quantitative and qualitative approaches. TheSeakow & Samson e-learning readiness model with five dimensions of readiness, namely policy, technology, financial, human resource, and infrastructure, is used in this study. The result of thisstudy shows that that UNUSA's level of readiness in implementing online learning is in the Readycategory, requiring improvement to implement it with a readiness score of 3.68. The dimension withthe highest score is technology, which is 3.84. Meanwhile, infrastructure and policy scored 3.77 and3.72, respectively. The human resources dimension has a readiness score of 3.6. In contrast, thedimension with the lowest score is the financial dimension.

Abstract

The number of competitors that have sprung up in the field of fashion especially in men'sclothing, has caused Cotton.Go need to evaluate its e-commerce services to compete withthem. Therefore, this research was conducted to evaluate the attributes of Cotton.Go’s ecommerce services by integrating the dimensions of Electronic Service Quality andImportance Performance Competitor Analysis (IPCA) method. According to researchresult, seven attributes of services in Cotton.Go’s e-commerce is needed for furtherresearch, which are web design, reliability, efficiency, responsiveness, security, flexibility, and fulfillment. This research produced that all of the attributes need urgentaction to improve by looking at the negative performance differences value with itscompetitor. All attributes that need to be improved indicated that the performances areconsidered to be lower compared to the competitor and need immediate action to improve.
