Abstract

Based on the results of the observation, it was found that there is no definite benchmark for employee performance evaluation, especially in the production department at PT Meidoh Indonesia. Therefore, this research aims to identify and design performance assessments in the production department of PT Meidoh Indonesia. The method used is the Balance Scorecard method based on Key Performance Indicators (KPI). Essentially, the use of the balance scorecard method has 4 perspectives that will be structured into Key Performance Indicators (KPI). The result in this research, only 3 perspectives are used according to the company's conditions at that time. These 3 perspectives consist of the financial perspective with the Key Performance Indicator (KPI) of reducing purchases and production costs, the customer perspective with the Key Performance Indicator (KPI) of reducing the delay process, and the internal process perspective of improving workforce productivity, reducing scrap, and eliminating abnormal occurrences.

Abstract

Stock-taking is an important process in stock management to ensure a match between the mechanism data and the physical amount in the warehouse, but many companies still use manual methods that are prone to errors and inefficiencies. This research aims to create and build a Java-based stock-taking program to improve the accuracy and efficiency of stock data collection. The methods used include mechanism requirements analysis, design with Entity-Relationship Diagram (ERD) and Unified Modeling Language (UML), and implication using Java and MySQL database, with testing through Black Box Testing method. The results show that this program is able to assist users in recording, managing, and verifying stock more accurately and efficiently than manual methods, with key features such as automatic recording, fast stock search, and real-time report generation that support the effectiveness of the stock-taking process in the company.

Abstract

Lavrins is an online shop that sells various kinds of fashion products, especially women's shirts. Lavrins markets his products to various digital marketplaces such as Shopee, TikTok, Tokopedia and Instagram. The resulting product is a t-shirt which is very popular among teenagers. The shirt production process is carried out by vendors who collaborate with Lavrins, but in this process not all products produced are of good quality. This results in products experiencing several problems in the form of product defects such as incorrect stitching patterns, sloppy stitching and button defects. The aim of the research is to reduce errors in defective products produced by relevant vendors in order to improve the quality of products marketed. This research uses the static process control (SPC) method, this method analyzes the possible causes that occur in the resulting defective products and appropriate decisions will be made based on the analysis results obtained. The results of the research carried out show that there are three types of defects, namely sloppy stitching, wrong patterns, and button defects, with the most dominant or highest defect being sloppy stitching at 51.06%, followed by wrong patterns at 44.68%, and the last one is button defects of 4.62%. There are other defects in the products sold by Lavrins which are caused by machine, worker and material factors.

Abstract

Distribution Requirement Planning (DRP) is a method used in the planning process that utilizes customer demand information, inventory stock, and production capacity to plan and schedule product distribution more accurately. This research aims to delve deeper into the issues faced by Warehousing Service Companies in distribution scheduling and how the DRP method can be an effective solution. With a deep understanding of this issue, it is expected that the company can improve their distribution performance, reduce operational costs, and enhance customer satisfaction. This research uses the Distribution Requirement Planning (DRP) method and utilizes data obtained from a health product warehousing service company. Based on the research conducted, the forecast of health product demand for the next 3 months was obtained as the standard requirement that the company must meet. In addition, the use of the Distribution Requirement Planning (DRP) method was able to reduce warehousing service costs by 29% compared to the method previously used by the company.

Abstract

PT XYZ is a company engaged in manufacturing automotive components. The company produces and distributes car body parts by performing stamping, welding, assembling, and tooling processes. In the production process, there is a die setting activity as one of the processes that must be passed to produce a part. From the results of observations made on the 200 TON AIDA Press machine die setting activity in accordance with the existing Work Instruction, the average time obtained in the die setting activity is 21 minutes/order. This is one of the shortcomings that creates a 10-minute gap from the target set by the company. So that increasing productivity between workers and machines is needed to achieve these targets. The purpose of this research is to find out, analyze, process, and provide suggestions for improvements to the problem of the long die setting time of the 200 TON AIDA Press machine.  The method used to make improvements is Single Minute Exchange of Dies (SMED). SMED succeeded in reducing die setting time quite significantly with an initial die setting duration of 21.56 minutes to 10.46 minutes, normal time from 24 minutes to 12 minutes, standard time from 32 minutes to 16 minutes, and the percentage reduction obtained was 51.48%.

Abstract

SQL injection is one of the serious threats in website security that can jeopardize the integrity of the database. This research focuses on using Sqlmap integrated in Kali Linux operating system to analyze website database vulnerability. Kali Linux was chosen because it is a Linux distribution specifically designed for penetration testing and has been equipped with various cybersecurity tools, including Sqlmap as a reliable open-source framework to detect and analyze SQL injection vulnerabilities automatically. The main objective of the research is to develop a systematic methodology in analyzing website database vulnerabilities through SQL injection techniques. The methodology includes the installation and configuration of Sqlmap on Kali Linux, implementation of penetration testing, and comprehensive analysis of the vulnerability findings. This research also emphasizes the importance of implementing security mechanisms and mitigation strategies to protect data integrity from SQL injection attacks. The results of this research are expected to contribute to the development of better cybersecurity practice.

Abstract

Occupational safety and health are important factors at this time for employees so that they can do their work productively. This is done to reduce the impact of the risk of work accidents on employees and the company. The problem faced by the company is that there are work accidents that occur in mixer machines and production room areas that have an impact on employee safety and health. The HIRARC method is used in this study as a tool to identify work accidents that occur, assess how much impact is caused by work accidents, and provide control to handle so that work accidents do not occur. The purpose of this study is to reduce the occurrence of work accidents in the company to achieve zero accidents. The results of the PT ABC study showed that the activities carried out had a fairly high risk so that they could cause disorders in the human body to cause death and could be prevented by actions such as adding air ventilation and tightening the use of PPE (Personal Protective Equipment).

Abstract

In the manufacturing industry, product quality is the main benchmark that determines the competitiveness of a company. PT XYZ Industri as one of the main suppliers of national automotive components, faces the problem of high numbers of reject products, especially in the Panel Wheel House part in the E-Line production line. This study aims to analyze the main causes of these reject products and provide suggestions for improvement through the application of the Seven Tools method as a quality control tool. The study was conducted using a case study approach using production data from January to March 2024. Data collection methods include direct observation, interviews with related parties, and documentation studies of daily production reports. There are two dominant types of defects in the Pnl Wheel House part, namely neck and crack, which are identified through the Pareto Chart and Check Sheet. Furthermore, Fishbone Diagram analysis is used to determine the root of the problem involving machine, method, and material factors. The results of the study show that neck defects dominate with a proportion of 98%, which is caused by unstable cushion pressure and die design that is prone to causing imperfect pulling in the drawing process. The application of the Control Chart shows process inconsistencies, which are then corrected by revising the control limits. Improvement strategies are formulated using the 5W+1H method, such as standardization of cushion pressure and routine inspection of die conditions and raw material quality. By implementing this approach, PT XYZ can significantly improve production quality, reduce reject rates, and increase efficiency and customer satisfaction. This study proves that Seven Tools is an effective method in identifying and handling quality problems in the manufacturing process

Abstract

In this connected digital era, the need to have a secure and trusted digital identity is becoming increasingly important. One of the major steps taken by Indonesia in achieving this is by utilizing the NIK (Population Identification Number) as a single citizen identity data. NIK is a unique number given to every Indonesian citizen since their birth. Not only that, the utilization of NIK as single data also allows the government to conduct data analysis more effectively. With centralized data, the government can make decisions and make policies that are more targeted and in accordance with the needs of the community. In this research, the author applies data mining techniques using the K-Means algorithm. The approach is used to group data based on the distance between data, which organizes data into a predetermined number of clusters. The research stages start from data preparation, data transformation, data modeling and data evaluation. The results of the K-mean algorithm testing research using Altair AI-Studio can be concluded that the distribution of new Indraprasta PGRI University students for the 2023/2024 academic year based on NIK is spread across 32 of the 37 provinces in Indonesia with the largest population from DKI Jakarta province, namely 4,630 students and West Java as many as 4,219 students who are included in the Cluster0 category.

Abstract

The main problem that customers often face in choosing eyeglass lenses is the lack of information that suits the user's specific needs, such as eye complaints, daily activities, and lens feature preferences. This study aims to build a recommendation system for selecting eyeglass lenses using the Knowledge-Based Recommendation approach with the Constraint-Based method. The system development methodology uses the Agile Software Development model, with iterative stages that allow for periodic system evaluation. Data were obtained through interviews with customers and staff of Optik Wiratama Kacamata 2, as well as direct observation of user needs. This system was built web-based with the PHP programming language and the Laravel framework. The system test results showed a level of recommendation accuracy with a recall value of 100% and an average precision of 89.16%, indicating that the system is able to provide relevant lens recommendations that suit user needs. This study contributes to providing digital solutions that help decision-making in selecting eyeglass lenses in a personal and efficient manner.
