Abstract

Student achievement is found apda initial survey is still much under KKM while individuals who have high self-control can direct and manage his behavior, not easily tempted by changes that occur and can avoid the deviant behavior, This study aims to analyze the relationship control self with student achievement with the strength of the relationship is quite strong in students at SMA Negeri 7 Padang. This type of research is quantitative research with the type of research is descriptive correlational research. The population of this study class XI and class XII SMA Negeri 7 Padang 2017/2018 as many as 596 students and a sample of 240 students. Sampling using simple random sampling technique. Instrument used for research in the form of closed questionnaire to know the relationship of self control with student achievement by using correlation test. The results revealed: 1) students' overall self-control was in the moderate category with the percentage of 38.8% 2) the overall student learning achievement (26.7%) with the learning achievement score 62-67, and there was a significant relationship between self-control with learning achievement at SMA Negeri 7 Padang.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh pembelajaran matematika SD belum mengaitkan dengan kehidupan sehari-hari siswa. Sehingga siswa kurang mengetahui manfaat mempelajari matematika. Untuk mengatasi hal tersebut digunakan pendekatan matematika realistic. Tujuan penelitian ini mendapatkan gambaran pembelajaran matematika menggunakan pendekatan matematika realistik. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pembelajaran matematika menggunakan pendekatan matematika realistik  dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar, kompetensi afektif dan psikomotor siswa. Guru yang ingin menerapkan pembelajaran dengan menggunakan pendekatan realistik, disarankan memperhatikan (1) materi pembelajaran disesuaikan dengan konteks sehari-hari siswa. (2) perlu lebih kreatif dalam merancang pembelajaran yang sesuai dengan situasi dunia nyata. (3) perlu memberikan perhatian, bimbingan dan motivasi belajar secara sungguh-sungguh kepada siswa yang berkemampuan kurang dan pasif dalam kelompok, karena siswa yang demikian sering menggantungkan diri pada temannya.

Abstract

AbstrakPerceraian dapat diartikan dengan putusnya hubungan perkawinan, sehingga menyebabkan hubungan suami isteri berakhir. Kondisi ini disebabkan munculnya konflik yang menyebabkan tidak tercapainya keharmonisan dan kebahagiaan keluarga. Perceraian diakibatkan beberapa faktor seperti pasangan yang bersifat egois, kurangnya komunikasi, ketidak siapan menikah, serta tidak tercapainya fungsi-fungsi dari pernikahan atau keluarga. Perceraian dapat menimbulkan dampak psikologis anak menjadi terganggu, ketidak stabilan perekonomian dan lain sebagainya. Untuk meminimalisir atau bahkan meniadakan kondisi perceraian dan menghindari dampaknya perlu pelayanan upaya bimbingan dan bahkan teraputik melalui berbagai pendekatan dan terapi termasuk pelayanan konseling. Pelayanan Konseling untuk melayani hubungan dalam rumahtangga dinamakan dengan konseling keluarga. Naskah ini mencoba untuk memaparkan lebih lanjut konsep perkawinan, perceraian dan upaya pelayanmemalui pelayanan konseling keluarga.

Abstract

Problem is a situation that does not like it is, something you want removed, and something that can hinder or result in losses. The problems revealed in this study wanted the students to the issues presented BK teacher/counselor. This study aimed to describe the problems presented to the student teacher BK /counselors in high schools in the city of Padang can be seen from personal problems, learning problems, social problems, and career problems and the factors that encourage students and the results obtained. This type of research considered in a descriptive study using the questionnaire research instruments. 2430 samples of a total of 147 students study subjects that matter to teachers convey BK/counselor. Both students who come alone, students who were called and students recommendation.

Abstract

The study was conducted on third-grade students of SD Negeri 12 Api - Api Kecamatan Bayang in the lesson of 2016/2017 using classroom action research (PTK). The study was conducted in two cycles. The instruments used to collect data are test sheets and observation sheets. The results showed an increase in cycles, I and II, so it can be concluded that paper manipulative media can increase student activity and learning outcomes about fractions.

Abstract

The background of this class research are the studying result and student’s motivation of mathematic lesson of grade II students in SDN 05 Nan Sabaris, Nan Sabaris District, Padang Pariaman Regency is low because the studying activity there is not maximal. Studying mathematic in class is still boring. In other hand, there is no precise studying strategy in this case and the method that used is still conventional. Teacher is the only one who active in the studying activity, so teacher cannot see the student’s ability in reasoning. The students only listening to what the teacher is explaining about, without involving in that studying activity, so the students are hard to understand of what they have learned.Generally, the goal of this research is to recognize the increasing of student’s motivation and the studying result by using Lidi Perkalian application. This research is to answer the existing problems how Lidi Perkalian application can improve the motivation and the result of mathematic studying activity in grade II SDN 05 Nan Sabaris.The result of this research shows that the studying activity by using Lidi Perkalian application is giving positive impact to increase the motivation and studying result. It can be seen from the student’s understanding that going better in mathematic lesson, it that has been told by the teacher (the studying result is increased from first cycle to second cycle) both are 77.27% and 90.91%. On the second cycle, the students studying result is reached.

Abstract

Based on initial observation, it was known that the first grade students at SDN 08 IV Koto Aur Malintang were not confident to  speak in front of class because of feeling shy and afraid. It was caused by learning that focus only on reading and writing skill. Meanwhile, speaking skill had not been concerned yet. This research was aimed to improve the speaking skill of the first grade students at I SDN 08 IV Koto Aur Malintang Kabupaten Padang Pariaman by using media of serial pictures. Data of research were obtained through observing these following aspects: (1) courageous in telling story; (2) fluency in telling story; (3) appropriateness between story and serial pictures; and (4) pronunciation and intonation. Data of research were analyzed qualitatively. Researcher set the mean percentage of four aspects of speaking skill as 80%. In cycle I, the mean percentage of four aspects of speaking skill is 73,8%. Meanwhile, in cycle II, the mean percentage of four aspects of speaking skill is 82,5%. The research result shows that the use of serial pictures can improve the speaking skill of the first grade students at I SDN 08 IV Koto Aur Malintang Kabupaten Padang Pariaman.

Abstract

This study is encouraged by the low marks of grade VIa students at SDN 21 Batang Anai in Sport subject, especially in playing volley ball. Students used to face difficulties in doing basic technique like upper passing. This study is aimed to improve students’ learning achievement in doing upper passing by implementing playing balloon model. This is a class action research with two cycles. Data were collected through observation and test. Result of this study shows that paying balloon model can improve students’ learning achievement in doing upper passing in volley ball learning. In cycle I, average score of students is 69.2 and increase in cycle II with average score of 80.5.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatar belakangi oleh keinginan untuk memperbaiki proses pembelajaran yang telah dilakukan dengan tujuan menjelaskan  hasil belajar peserta didik dengan menerapkan model cooperative learning pada mata pelajaran Seni Budaya (seni musik). Metodologi penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian tindakan kelas (PTK). Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan observasi, wawancara  dan studi pustaka. PTK ini terdiri atas 2 siklus. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pembelajaran dengan model  Cooperative  Learning pada materi praktek rekorder pada musik ansabel dapat meningkatkan keterampilan siswa bermain musik. Saran yang dapat diberikan berkaitan dengan penelitian ini adalah guru harus jeli dalam memilih anggota kelompok dan guru harus menjadi motivator bagi siswa dalam mempelajari penggunaan rekorder pada music ansambel.

Abstract

The communication skills in counseling sessions can support the success of counseling. One of the basic counseling skills is listening skills. Through listening skills, the counselor can understand and interpret the message conveyed by the counselee. In addition, through listening to the counselor, it can provide an appropriate and proper response, hence, it increases trust, comfort, and provide support to the counselee to tell more about the problems they experienced.Listening is effective to help counselors display empathy built in the counseling process. In practice, listening to the counselor has some potential hindrances to listening, it includes 1) having preconceived notions about the client that interfere with the counselor's abil­ity to hear the client, (2) anticipating what the client is about to say and not actually hear­ing the client, (3) thinking about what you are going to say and therefore blocking what the client is saying, (4) having personal issues that interfere with your ability to listen, (5) having a strong emotional reaction to your client's content and therefore not being able to hear the client accurately, and (6) being distracted by such things as noises, tem­perature of the office, or hunger pains. In counselling skills, effective listening is one of the important skills to be developed as a basic ability to build throughout the counseling relationships and help to show empathy and provide the right respons.
