Abstract

The research was motivated by problems that occur in SLB N 1 Padang that mentally retarded child X third graders were aged 17 years old who have difficulties in terms of self help  especially toilet training in performing urination. This aim of this study was to improve the ability of toilet training for mentally retarded child going through a task analysis. The research methodology is Single Subject Research (SSR) a research design is A-B, which the design of study was comparing the ability of toilet training mentally retarded child X on the baseline and the intervention condition. The results were analyzed include the number of observations in the baseline condition as much as eight times and the intervention condition as many as fifty-two sessions per week. Results of this study aimed at the data analysis in conditions and the data analysis between conditions indicate a change in the ability of toilet training X to better direction, which is proven from the data obtained during the baseline condition, was only 37, 5% whereas the data obtained during the intervention conditions at fifty to fifty-two sessions the children's ability to toilet training was 100%.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the problems faced by children with Down syndrome in recognizing numbers. The approach used in this study is the experimental approach in the form of single-subject research (single-subject study), using the A-B design and data analysis techniques using visual analysis chart. Thus the hypothesis can be accepted. It means power point media effectively to improve the ability to know the rate for Down syndrome child in SLB Luki Padang. It can be concluded that media power point effectively to improve the ability to know the numbers 1 through 5 on Down syndrome.

Abstract

The researcher begins with the observation in Indonesian learning in class IV Elementary School 05 Bandar Buat Padang about reading comprehension, the student’s having difficulty in reding comprehension. Thus giving researchers an alternative cloze technique to improve reading comprehension ability for children with lerarning  difficulties. This research uses a approach Quasi Ekperiment with design Pre-test and post-test group design. The subjects were totaling four people. Collecting data in this research using a written essay test as many as 15 pieces. And the data obtained were analyzed using the Mann Whitney U test. These results Uhit> Utab at the 95% significance level or alpha = 0.05 obtained Utab = 0 at n = 4. Meaning that Ha is accepted and Ho is rejected, it is proved that the cloze technique effective for improving reading comprehension for children learning difficulties in class IV Elementary School 05 Bandar Buat Padang.

Abstract

The background research is the lack of english vocabulary in deaf student majoring in Special Need Education (PLB) FIP UNP Padang. Thus, the author helps to improve English vocabulary that is specific to the noun vocabulary through Flash Cards. This study used a single subject research approach (SSR) with the A-B design and data analysis techniques using visual graphical analysis. The subjects were students with hearing impairment, given the intervention by using the flash cards. From the results of this research results show English vocabulary (noun) an increase controlled subjects. In the analysis between conditions showed a tendency towards a positive (+) change of variable to variable rendt stability, trend and level changes increased from 15% to 90%, and 0% Percentage Overlap of data meaningful research results accepted. Based on the results of data analysis it can be concluded that the Treasury Vocabulary English (Noun) The Deaf Students Can Enhanced Media Flash Card. The authors suggest to students that English vocabulary is lacking, could use a media card in increasing vocabulary words and no exception to teachers who want to apply the word cards to students in improving the vocabulary of the students.

Abstract

The research was background by the problems that researcher found in the special senior high school level (SMLB) in Padang. The use of this study is to teach students with Reading guide to operate software CorelDraw. Approache of the study was using research and development. The result of this study shows that Reading Guide has successfull in student’s learning to operate software CorelDraw. Suggestions in this study is teachers can use the Reading Guide in providing computer materials for students with hearing impairment.

Abstract

This research was bacground by the problem that the researcher found at SLB Amal Bhakti, a child mental retaldation mild class II at SLB that have problem in diagnose number from. This research was usool single subjet research, wirh A-B-A design, and technique of data analysis wasused visual graphics analysis, the result gf this research shown that puzzle home numbers media efective toword numbers comprehensior from number one unni ten for the chilld mental retardation mild in mathematic learning class II SLB Amal Bhakti. Observation did in 3 sechon, they were the first, baseline sechon, before given intervensi (A1) that did as many as five times observation, persentase ability to diagnose number from at this condition reside at 0%, second, satirvensi sechon (B) by using puzzle home numbers media, observation did as many as 12 times, persentase ability to diagnose number from at this condition reside at 10%, 30%, 35%, 25%, 25%, 40%, 50%, 65%, 70%, 90% and 90%. Third, at baseline section (A2) did as many as 4 timer observation, and the researcher get the ability of the child in diagnose number from at high persentase reside at 55%, 80%, until 90%, based on the result of this research con tondude that puzzle home number efecctive to improve number comprehensior from number one until ten at child mental retaldation mild in SLB Amal Bhakti Kec. 2x11 enam lingkung. And singgerted from the teacher at the fuhave to use puzzle home number media in number from comprehension at child mental retaldation mild.

Abstract

The background this research was, there is a child who can not read the word dual vocals at SD N 18 Koto Luar Padang. Jarikubaca Techniques is manner a child for happy reading, the purpose of this study is to prove the effectiveness of jarikubaca in improving the reading skills for dyslexic child at 18 Koto Luar Padang. Type of study is a Single Subject Research with A-B-A desaign. The results of this study is jarikubaca techniques effective to go up of read the word dual vocals for a dyslexic child at SDN 18 Koto Luar Padang.

Abstract

This research background in the background by the findings in the field are special-ed students tunagrahita Bina Bangsa, Padang. Have problems writing, the results tulisanya not resemble the actual form letter. Helped to improve his writing skills using Magic Witheboard. This research Single Subject Research shaped with AB design. Analysis of the data using a visual chart to record the frequency of the number of letters in the letter written by the actual pattern. Observations concluded that the use of Magic Witheboard permulaaan can improve writing skills.

Abstract

The research find the problems of a slow learning child the difficulty in reading the beginning. Based on assessment children still have difficulties in combining some consonants (b, d, g, p, q, r) into syllables and words. Researchers using the method abacaga. The baseline with percentage of 10%-17% and  intervention percentage to 50%-100%. Thus, the hypothesis in  acceptable. Abacaga method can improve the child's ability to read the beginning of a slow learning.

Abstract

Research early from problems which is writer find in second grade at Min Koto Luar Padang. Child write the letter with imprecise form, size measure and not consistence distance of letter, the article fluctuate at paper mark with lines, and add, lessening, changing and also invert letter at a word. So we need a special method to solve this problems, one of them is method of VAKT. This research use experiment type with single subject and A-B-A design. Acquirement of data analysed to use analyse visual data technique. Result of data analysis percentage of overlap equal to 0% and 22%. And it’s mean Ha accepted. VAKT method effective to increase write ability to Learning Disabilities Children in second grade MIN Koto Luar Padang. So writer suggest to teacher to use  VAKT method in lesson process specially write lesson.
