Abstract

Abstrack: This research was conducted as a student with totally hearing impairment got obstacles to make sequin embroidery. He could get the thread into the needle hole, sewed straightly with the help of the line, and cut the thread. But he had not been able yet to tie the ends of the thread, sewed straightly without a pattern and without the help of sequins, sewed an archway with pattern and without patterns, sewed archway with the help of sequins and without sequins, smoothed the stitching, tied the ends of the thread after stitching is complete, and the results are not neat. This was a single subject research which used A-B-A design. The baseline condition (A1) was the student’s previously ability in making sequin embroidery. This session consisted of seven observations. In the intervention condition (B), a treatment through which a ram was used, thirteen observations were done and the data was 100%. In the baseline condition (A2), the treatment was no longer given. This session consisted of sixteen observations and the data was 100%. The result of data analysis in and inter-condition showed that the estimation of way tendency, the stability tendency, data record, and the level of changes improved positively. The number of the data overlapped was 7,7%. Hence, it was concluded that the use of ram was effective to help the student with hearing impairment in making sequin embroidery. It was suggested to the school to apply this media to make useful for hearing impairment students. Kata kunci: Keterampilan Sulam Payet, Ram, Anak Tunarungu.

Abstract

Abstract : This research is motivated by the problems that appear in the field that is a mild mental retardation child class DIII/C in SLB Limas Padang who have difficulty in doing the sum of numbers that the result is less than 20. Under these conditions, this study aims to demonstrate the use of media in the slats board increase ability summation of numbers that the result is less than 20 for mild mental retardation child class DIII/C in SLB Limas Padang. This study uses the Single Subject Research approach with ABA design. Subjects were mild mental retardation child class DIII / C. Baseline conditions (A1) is the ability of a child early in the sum of numbers that the result is less than 20 before being given treatment, intervention condition (B) is a condition in which a child is given the treatment by the media board slats, while the baseline condition (A2) is not given the ability of the child after treatment again. Target behaviors in this study is the child able to work on the problems that result is the sum of numbers less than 20, as measured by percentage. Techniques of data analysis in this study is the use of visual analysis chart. Kata Kunci: Anak Tunagrahita Ringan; Penjumlahan Bilangan yang hasilnya 20 kebawah ; Media Papan Bilah.

Abstract

Abstract: This research is motivated by being retarded children who are not familiar with color. This study aims to improve understanding about colors red, yellow and blue with the right and see if the media realia can be applied to increase understanding about colors.This research uses experimental research in the form of Single Subject Research (SSR) with ABA design. Subjects were retarded children were X-class DII / C. Target behavior in this study is the ability of the child to know the color of the states, shows and, classifying colors, assessment is provided in the form of a percentage (%). This research was first seen on the baseline condition (A1) the child's ability to recognize colors beginning. After that proceed in the intervention condition further condition to be treated. And further on the baseline condition (A2) that the child's condition after being given treatment without the use of realia media. The data obtained were processed with graphs. So that the results of this research can be clearly defined.  Having analyzed the data obtained the following results at baseline phase (A1) that the child is not able to recognize the colors red, blue and yellow. In the intervention phase that is doing the learning using realia media with a nine-day observation that children can recognize red and blue and yellow color grouping (a value of 77%). And the baseline phase (A2) for five days observation that children are able to recognize the colors red and blue and yellow color grouping (a value of 77%) by not using realia media. It means that learning to use realia media effectively applied to improve understanding about colors for children with intellectual challenges are. Researchers suggest to teachers and researchers in order to provide further learning using realia media to recognize colors in further learning. Abstract

Abstract : This study was motivated by the problems that researchers have found in SDLB 20 cottage Duo Pariaman, a deaf child class BV is having problems in the preparation of sentence structure. The ability of the child is still very low, children are not able to resolve the subject matter of structuring sentences, prediket, Object (SPO). Under these conditions, this study aims to prove whether said card game on deaf children can improve the ability of structuring sentences.This research uses experimental research by the method of Single Subject Research (SSR), with ABA design and data analysis techniques using visual analysis chart. Subjects were deaf children BV class. Assessment in this research is by recording data about the number of correctly answered by the child. Measurement of variables by using a percentage, which divides the correct answer scores with a total score of questions, and then multiplied by 100%.The results of this study indicate that, the ability of deaf children in structuring sentences increased. At the beginning of the baseline conditions (A1) observations performed 6 times with a mean level of 33.3%, in the intervention condition observations were made as much as nine times the mean level of 85.6, and the baseline condition (A2) observations were made as much as 6 times the mean level obtained 96%. The results of data analysis data showed a tendency toward an increase in the ability to solve problems of structuring sentences better. Changes in the level of data on baseline conditions (A1) is 10%, in the intervention condition (B) is 50%, and the baseline condition (A2) is 10%. Overlap of data that occurs in the baseline condition (A1) and intervention is 0%, and the overlap of data on baseline phase (A2) and the intervention was 11.1%. Based on these results we can conclude word card game effectively to improve the ability to structure a sentence of deaf children in SDLB 20 cottage Duo Pariaman. Researchers suggest the teacher should be able to use the word card game to learn sentence structure the subject, prediket, Object. Keyword: permainan kartu kata

Abstract

This research was conducted based on the problem found in the field indicating that a student with light mental retardation X got problem to wash his clothes. The purpouse of this  research was to increase the student’s ability to wash clothes though task analysis in class IV C1 of SLB Fanredha Padang. This was a Single Subject Research which used  A-B design. A condition (baseline condition) was the  initial contion showing  the student’s ability to wash  clothes before the treatment given. B condition ( intervention condition) was the  condition through which the task analysis was applied. The result of the research indicated that the ability of the studen with light mental reterdation to wash clothes increased after the  task analysis given. In the  baseline condition, six observasions were  conducted. In this  condition the highest score was 35%. In the intervention condition that consited of ten  observations, the  highest score of the student was 90%. Thus, it was revealed that  task analysis could  increase the ability of the student  with light mental  retardation X to wash clothes in class IV/C1 of SLB Fanredha Padang. The researcher suggested to  the teachers to use  task analysis to help the students to wash their own clothes. Kata kunci: analysis tasks; Washing Clothes.

Abstract

Abstract: This study was motivated by the problems that researchers have found in SLB C Payakumbuh, a retarded child were sitting in class DIII / C1 are not familiar with numbers. This type of research is experimental approach in the form of Single Subject Research (SSR) with ABA design. baseline conditions before being given a treatment of data collected using the data collection tool the ability to know numbers 1-10 that is by counting the number of numbers mentioned ditujuk and children show the percentage of 10%. the intervention condition when given treatment with hopscotch game the ability to know numbers can be mentioned the child shows the percentage of 100% .. then on baselineII condition after being given treatment using child hopscotch game could mention numbers without the aid shows the percentage of 80% .. Data were analyzed with using visual data analysis is illustrated through a graph. Analysis of the data showed an increased ability to recognize numbers through a hopscotch game in which this game in every box is numbered. Based on data analysis that has been done, it can be concluded that through the hopscotch game can improve the ability to know the number of children with intellectual challenges being X.
