Abstract

                          This research in the wake of the problems that researchers have found in SD N 15 Ulu Gadut Padang, a third grade children learning disability who are having problems in reading the word. The ability to read the children is still very low, children are often wrong in reading the words contained digraphs letters "ng". Under these conditions, this study aims to prove the effectiveness of the scientific approach to improve the ability to read the word, in which the word is contained in the letter digraphs in children learning disability  X.   This research uses experimental approach in the form of Single Subject Research (SSR) with multiple baseline design cross variables. subjects were children learning disability class III. Results of the analysis of the conditions and showed a tendency towards inter-state, the tendency of stability, the tendency of trace data and increased levels of positive changes, as well as the percentage of overlap (overlapped data) on an analysis of conditions in the target behavior 1 is 0% and 50.1%, on the target behavior 2 is 0% and 50.1%, and the target behavior 3 0% and 50.1%. Overlape the smaller the percentage, the better the effective of interventions to change treatment. So it can be concluded that the scientific approach is effective in improving reading skills in children learning disability said X class III in SD N 15 Ulu Gadut Padang.         Keyword: Children learning disability : reading the word : scientific approach

Abstract

AbstractThis research derived from the problems was found in the class D.VI.C1 of SLB N 01 Padang showing that a student with medium mental retardation got difficulties to brush teeth. This was an experimental research which used Single Subject Research method and A-B design. Results of study it was conclude that the hypothesis was accepted indicating that the use of video could increase the ability of student with medium mental retardation to brush teeth.Keyword : Medium mental retardation: Video: Brushing teeth skill

Abstract

Abstract : This research based on the problems which researcher found in the blind children which named SLB A Payakumbuh City. In this school, the children who do not know about braille letters start from a to z letters. It can be seen from the observation that researcher do where children can not demonstrate braille. In this research, the researcher uses experiment method which is pre-experimental design or often named quasi experiment with one group pretest-posttest design type. In this research the observation done twice; they are before experiment and after experiment. The observation which is done before the experiment (01) called pretest, and the observation which is done after experiment (02) called posttest.  The pretest is given to the subject of the research to find out the initial condition of the comprehension of Braille letters, after that they given the treatment with Braille board, and the continue by giving posttest to see the result of treatment which has given. The point of pretest and posttest are processed and compare by using mann Whitney test. The result of this research shows that the ability of children comprehension of Braille letters after analyzed by looking at the average result in the pretest is 17,69% meanwhile in the posttest there is an increasing which about 73,84%.  The data is processed in order to make it more scientific by using Mann Whitney test. The result are Uhit= 2,5 and Utab= 2 with n=5 in the significant level 95% and α= 0,05. The alternative hypothesis is accepted because Uhit > Utab, so it is proven that braille board is effective to increase the comprehension of braille letters to the blind children. Abstract

ABSTRACK Orin Oktorima. 2015. Learning Assessment for the Students with Spesial Needs at Inclusive School SDN 01 Limau Manis ( a Case Study in Class I, II, and IV of SD Negeri 01 Limau Manis Kecamatan Pauh, Sumatera Barat. Thesis. Special Education Department of the Education of State University of Padang. This research was derived from the problems founds on learning assessment for the students with special needs in class I, II, and IV of SD N 01 Limau manis. In completing the tasks assigned, the students’ average score was always below the Minimum Standard Score. Meanwhile their final scores in the learning report did not indicate that they had learning problems as their average score was above the Minimum Standard Score. Therefore, this research was intended to reveal the learning assessment for the students with special needs in inclusive school. This research applied case study approach emphasizing on the criteria of learning assessment for the students with special need, the process of learning assessment for the students with special needs in inclusive school, the problems found in conducting learning assessment for the students with special needs, and the efforts done to overcome the problems found in conducting learning assessment for the students with special needs. The subject of the research was the teachers teaching in class I, II and IV of SD N 01 Limau Manis. The data were collected through observation and interview. The results of the research indicated that in conducting learning assessment, the teachers had lack of understanding on learning assessment for the students with special needs, and there were several aspects that had not been run as they should be. Therefore, it was suggested to the teachers to enhance their knowledge about learning assessment for the students with special needs. Key Terms: Learning Assessment, Students With Special Needs, Inclusive Education

Abstract

ABSTRAK Nabila Muti Tanjung. 2015. “Meningkatkan Kemampuan Perkalian Melalui Media Flip Chart Bagi Anak Kesulitan Belajar Kelas V Di SD Negeri 01 Limau manis” Single Subject Research. Padang: Jurusan Pendidikan Luar Biasa Fakultas Ilmu Pendidikan Universitas Negeri Padang Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh permasalahan yang peneliti temukan di SD Negeri 01 Limau Manis Padang. Anak ini mengalami kesulitan dalam mengoperasikan perkalian dua digit kali dua digit deret ke bawah. Sedangkan pelajaran di kelas V sangat membutuhkan pengetahuan perkalian yang berhubungan dengan pelajaran lain seperti pembagian, pemfaktoran dan pengukuran. Untuk itu peneliti ingin meningkatkan kemampuan mengoperasikan perkalian dua digit kali dua digit deret ke bawah dengan menggunakan media Flip Chart.Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan eksperimen dalam bentuk Single Subject Research dengan desain A-B-A dan teknik analisis datanya menggunakan analisis visual grafis. Subjek penelitian ini adalah siswa kesulitan belajar. Penilaian dalam penelitian ini dengan mengukur skor kemampuan siswa dalam mengoperasikan perkalian dua digit kali dua digit deret ke bawah.Berdasarkan hasil penelitian ini terlihat bahwa mengoperasikan perkalian dua digit kali dua digit deret ke bawah siswa dapat meningkat dengan menggunakan media Flip Chart. Pada kondisi baseline yang dilakukan delapan kali pertemuan anak mendapat skor 0, dan pada kondisi intervensi sepuluh kali pertemuan skor kemampuan anak mulai meningkat perlahan sampai pada skor 17, dan pada kondisi baseline 2  anak sudah mampu mengerjakan soal perkalian dua digit kali dua digit deret ke bawah secara mandiri dengan skor akhir 16. Dengan demikian hipotesis (Ha) yang diajukan dapat diterima. Abstract

ABSTRACT This research discussed  about the social relation.  This researc h was intended to describe the process of social relation in the preparation class covering sveral indicators such as the process, obstracles, and the efforts done. This research was conducted at PSBN Tuah Sakato Padang. This research applied descriptive qualitative approach   focusing on the process of social relation for the clients with visual impairment. The subject of the research was the head of the institution, the teachers  handling  skill classes,  the subject teachers,  the Guidance and  and  Counseling teachers, the psychology teachers, and the clients in the preparation class. The data were collected through observation, interview and documentation study. The results of the research showed that  the social relation in the preparation class existed  in  all  of subject,  while  the  implementation  was  more  significant  in  mobility orientation subject. The guidance was given only 3 hours in a single meeting a week. The evaluation was done once in three months or four times in a year. The learning materials were taught repeatedly so that the clients had deep  understanding on them. The clients living in the house were those who neither went to regular nor to special school previously, and  they  had  low intelligence.  In the future,  it was expected  to  the  intructors  and the institution fellows to provide more times to the clients to get intensely guidance in mobility orientation subject whose materials required the students to do a lot of practice.

Abstract

This research is motivated by problems in a child's learning difficulties third class in SDN 20 Kalumbuk who have difficulty in writing so that even if the child is in third class he was not able to write well. Under theseconditions, the researchers want to prove that the use of Trigonal Pencil tools can boost children's writing skills in third grade learning difficulties in SDN 20 Kalumbuk. Abstract

Abstract: This research is motivated by the problems that arise in the field that first class C1 retarded children in SLB YPAC West Sumatra Padang, the lack of motivation in learning brushing teeth. Under these conditions, this study aims to prove effective in increasing the motivation of children's films in tooth brushing for retarded children whose classes I YPAC SLB C1 Padang in West Sumatra.This study uses ABA design with a single subject research methods (SSR). Target behavior in this study is the motivation brushing teeth. These results indicate that the films are less effective in increasing motivation tooth brushing for children with intellectual challenges become. Conditions baseline (A) five times observation, intervention condition (B) 6 times observation. At the inter-state analysis of the number of variables analyzed one variable, with the rate of change in the condition B / A 0%. Overlaps percentage on the initial conditions (A) with the condition of intervention 0%. Therefore it is proven that the working hypothesis ( Ha ) is accepted, so  the null hypothesis ( Ho ) is rejected. It can be concluded that the film is effective in increasing motivation brushing teeth .  Key word: Film, motivation learning self help to brushing their teet,; intellectual disorder
