Abstract

This study aims to describe the role and methods of explicit instruction on the skills of making bonsai artificial plant topiary from plastic ropes for deaf children. This type of research is a literature study (Library Research). The data collection method used in this research is the documentation method. The main sources of this research are journals contained in Google Scholar or Google Scholar and journals contained in reputable journals. The data analysis used in this research is literature analysis / content analysis / content analysis. The results of this study indicate that the explicit instruction method plays an important role in learning skills for deaf children, namely applying the appropriate steps to the explicit instruction method which is taught step by step by the teacher so that deaf children understand each step of the skills being taught.

Abstract

Corona virus is a virus transmitted by animals and humans that has been declared a world pandemic by WHO. Washing hands is the most common practice as a form of early prevention of transmission of the corona virus. Children with special needs are children who have abnormalities / deviations from the average condition of normal children, generally in terms of physical, mental and social behavior characteristics. The purpose of this study was to increase the knowledge and ability to wash hands in students with special needs. The activity was carried out on November 22, 2020. The method used in this study is lectures and discussions as well as the practice of washing hands through video conferencing accompanied by special delivery by a sign language interpreter. Participants in this activity totaled 14 Students with Special Needs. The results obtained were increased knowledge of students with special needs and the ability to practice washing hands properly.

Abstract

The research was conducted based on the problems found in SLB Autisma YPPA Padang, there were 5 autistic class X students who had the ability to make handicrafts. But the teacher does not provide variations in the provision of material, the teacher only teaches embroidering material, resulting in children being bored with the material provided by the teacher. The purpose of this study was to prove that the drill method can improve vocational skills in making flower vases from banana leaves for autistic children at SLB Autisma YPPA Padang.The method used is the experimental method in the form of a pre-experiment with the type of one group pretest postest design. The research subjects were 5 children with autism. The pretest and posttest scores were processed using the Wilcoxon sign rank test statistical analysis .The results showed good results, it can be seen from the results of data processing obtained a value of -2.032 b and a probability value or Asymp value . Sig. (2-tailed ) = 0.04 2 is smaller than the probability of yan g has been set at 0, 05. It can be inferred 0.04 2 <0.05, which means the method drill is effective in improving vocational skills make a vase of banana for autistic children at SLB Autisma YPPA Padang.

Abstract

Dalam dunia pendidikan, refleksi sangatlah penting dilakukan oleh guru terhadap peserta didiknya. Dengan adanya refleksi yang dilakukan oleh guru terhadap peserta didiknya, maka hal ini akan menambah keakraban dan keterbukaan diantara mereka. Dengan adanya rasa keakraban dan keterbukaan diantara mereka, maka dengan sendirinya rasa untuk menguasai materi pelajaran yang diberikan oleh guru terhadap peserta didiknya, akan begitu muda untuk dicerna dan dikuasai oleh peserta didiknya
