This pop-up book can be an interactive, communicative and effective media in the effort to preserve manners in this globalization era. Users0of this0pop-up book can have a positive effect on children, because this book is designed so that it can attract the attention0of children in comprehension0manners easily. Not0only that the design of this book can help children to learn while playing. Abstract

Sign system at the Regional General Hospital Dr. Muhammad Zein Painan not functioning properly because it has not provided the information needed, so that not informative and functional. Size of sign system is too small so that patients and visitors find it difficult to see and read the contents, Placement of sign system that are not right so that the sign system does not appear and becomes malfunctioning. The purpose of the design is so that the sign system designed can be informative and functional. Design methodology in designing a sign system through descriptive qualitative methods with a 5W + 1H analysis approach (what, where, when, who, why, how) that can answer and solve existing problems and develop creative design ideas. Data obtained from direct observation to the main source place and using documentation techniques. The results of the design sign system consists of several main media, namely identification sign, direction sign and mapping who has the main concept of being friendly. Supporting media in designing a sign system consists of ID cards, stickers, stamps, pins, welcome signs, and notebooks.Keywords: Hospital, Sign System

Abstract

The development of learning media for the education of blindchildren are still very constrained by the small number of reading references. The common books found were books that only written  on braille letters. The use of Tactile book as media that can attract attention for blind childrens  because of the visual presentation with textures that touched on each objects.The pupose of designing tactile book media in this case is the introduction of pet as the main thing  explained for education. Blind children that who have limited vision will know and recognize pet  animals through this book. By using this tactile book, blind children can get to know its shapes, its  textutres by using the touching technique that explained.The method used in this design by using observation methodes, interviews and documentation. The method of analizing data was used the 5W+1H technique (what, where, who, when, why and how).The result achieved is this tactile book using Braille can attract the attention of the instructor or  parent to teach blind children so that they can get to know and learn and know the scope of learning education.Keywords : Tactile Book , Pet , Braille

Abstract

Kurangnya remaja kreatif memiliki imajinasi dan motivasi untuk mengembangkan suatu karya yang dapat diakui oleh banyak peminat dan berpotensi menjadi karya yang dapat dikenang sepanjang tahun, demi mensejarahkan perkembangan suatu negara khususnya Indonesia. perkembangan zaman teknologi dari luar negara membuat remaja kreatif cenderung mengisi waktu luang dengan kegiatan yang tidak teratur. Salah satu faktor yang menjadi penyebabnya yaitu media hiburan yang kurang bermakna dan mendidik, membuat remaja kreatif yang ingin memulai menciptakan suatu karya hanya mendapatkan sedikit dukungan dari peminat sekitar negara. Fokus, waktu dan tenaga remaja kreatif menjadi teralihkan dari perihal yang penting seperti kualitas diri dan masa depan.Dalam perancangan komik Nigrum Rosis, penulis mengumpulkan data melalui metode BrainStorming dengan menerima berbagai masukan dari narasumber serta ditunjang oleh referensi dan komik oleh penulis lain. Data diolah melalui metode Glass Box. Komik dikerjakan secara manual dan dibantu melalui digital mengunakan komputer dengan aplikasi CorelDraw dan Adobe Photoshop.Komik Nigrum Rosis dicetak dalam bentuk buku komik berwarna hitam putih dengan total 34 halaman berukuran A5 dengan kertas art paper. Perancangan ini juga didukung oleh media pendukung seperti baju kaos, mug, gantungan kunci, pin, stiker, poster dan x-banner.Kata Kunci: Edukasi, Imajinasi, Motivasi, Komik, Teknologi

Abstract

The community is a group of people who care for each other more than theyshould, where in a community there is a close personal relationship betweenmembers of the community because of the similarity of interest or values. Theprocess of formation is horizontal because it is done by individuals of equalstanding. Community is a social identification and interaction built with variousdimensions of functional needs.White Raven (白 い カ ラ ス Shiroi Karasu) is a community of Japanese cultureand pop-culture lovers founded on the common vision and mission of its members who like various things related to Japan to create a media and container for the JFans.The lack of understanding of the target audience and the lack of optimum mediain delivering information about the Japanese Community's White Raven becamethe main factor of the authors designing the Japanese Community Video Profile of White Raven. The White Raven community promotional media created in theform of audio visual aims to make it easier for people to understand informationabout the Japanese White Raven Community. In addition to this informationdelivery video profile is also supported by several other media that help the main media to introduce the subject to the target audience of posters, stickers, shirts, pins, mugs, x-banners and wall clocks.The methodology used is the 5w + 1h approach of what, who, who, where, why, Using the 5w + 1h theory, all aspects summarized in the Japanese Rural Community Video Profile procession can be packed into audio visual media, Japanese community video profile White Raven can be a medium that has factual information that is effective and communicative to the target audience.Keywords: Video Profile, Japanese Community White Raven.

Abstract

The incident of resistanc kenagarian Manggopoh and vicinity in 1908 what is called the Manggopoh War whose against Dutch economic policy money tax “belasting” and other factors. The Manggopoh War led by a brave woman named Siti who succeeded in defeating 53 people Dutch troops, but she had to surrender later for his people at Manggopoh. The purpose of this design produced an illustrated story book to symbolize a struggle being fought with tittled “Siti Manggopoh Pahlawan yang Terlupakan”. The purpose of this illustrated story book is to identify as female warrior in West Sumatera, engendered a reading interest in children, and can take a good lessons from heroes’ stories.This theory is used as a supporter in the refining of the illustrated story book Siti Manggopoh pahlawan yang terlupakan. The design method used is the glass box method of rational, optimistic thingking without sentiment factors. This illustrated story book was created to reintroduce this heroic figure to children and also to inspire children to make changes, either in the form of leadership or in the attitude of achieving a goal. Abstract

Promotion of Islamic SD Khaira Ummah that has been done through print media such as banners, brochures, calendars and banners. However, over the times and technology, the promotion can be done anywhere and anytime. So SD Islam Khaira Ummah need a media that will reach a wider audience and make it easier to access audience. Therefore it is necessary to design a media campaign SD Islam Khaira Ummah through audio-visual media where output or outcome happens in the form of a video company profile. Video company profile selected for the presence of these media can facilitate audience in knowing and understanding what is promoted by Islamic SD Khaira Ummah.In designing the company profile Islamic SD Khaira Ummah, the authors collected data through interviews, observation and documentation. After getting the data from SD Islam Khaira Ummah to solve the problems that exist, from the data above, the writer using the SWOT (strenght, Weakness, Opportunity, Threat Because by using the SWOT analysis can compare the strengths and weaknesses of existing on the SD Islam Khaira Ummah. Abstract

The not yet optimal visual identity of Ale-Ale Pak In's business is based on observations of the current conditions, so it has not shown a visual identity that can be recognized by the public or consumers. Besides the competitors of the Ale-Ale business that developed in Sawahlunto itself. The purpose of this design is to create a brand in the form of logogram and logotype information.The design method used is the Glass Box method, the design carried out rationally and logically, starting from data collection, interviews and observations.The analytical approach used is the 5W + 1H analysis method (what, who, where, when, why, how) to find a solution to the problem at hand.The design of the main visual media identity ale-ale Pak In is the manual book as the main media, as well as supporting media namely, sign board, business cards, letters, envelopes, packaging, invoices, clothes, aprons, posters, x-banners, paper bags, mugs , stickers, pins and stamps, which aim to strengthen the application of the main media.Keywords: Designing Visual Identity, Brands, and Ale-Ale Pak In.

The design of this brochure describes the information products and ser-vices Randang One Sungai Pua, excellent products from Randang One sungai Pua include Randang Dagiang, Randang Rabu (Paru), Randang Dendeng and Randang Suir (Randang the meat in smooth flat), as well as some catering cuisine services , akikah cuisine and traditional cuisine. The purpose of this promotional brochure design is to provide information about products and services, to be bet-ter known to the public and tourists. The method used in data gathering is by con-ducting interviews, observation, documentation, and literature study. While the method used to analyse data is SWOT analysis method (Strenght, Weakness, Op-portunity, and Threat). The purpose of designing this website as a media promotion of Golf Course Wirabraja Castle Gardena to provide information directly and visualization about the Golf Course Wirabraja Puri Gardena. In order to attract the heart and facilitate the visitors, to play or exercise golf and can affect the target audience and market segmentation because the majority of people now more access the internet in everyday life.The design of this website is done through several stages of data collection, data analysis and design. The process of collecting data through interviews with the manager and the cady at the Golf Course Wirabraja Castle Gardena.
