Abstract

The devolopment of small and medium industries is one of the backbone of national economic development. One of the home industries is “Usaha Murni” onion cake, snack food from Batusangkar, Tanah datar Regency has a delicious and tasty taste. The purpose of designing “Usaha Murni” onion cake packaging is to produce attractive and efficient packaging and brand designs in the hope of attracting the attention of buyers so that they can increase sales. The method used in data collection is by conducting observations, interviews, and documentation. While the method used to analyze the data is a SWOT analysis. Abstract

The times now it makes the taste of the public who need furniture items has been changed, the current society tends to be more interested in the more modern furniture items and unique. Rattan wicker products industry had raised the name of West Sumatra as a manufacturer of first-class rattan weave the present nationwide. In recent years the potential of rattan handicraft has decreased due to the decline in demand from consumers and compete with similar products from other regions.The purpose of this website is the design as media promotion of Adid Furniture are expected to reach a broader maket so that it can enter the global market and also provide consumer convenience in getting information or new products, promotional media provide more easily in the system of sales promotion with marketing or selling a product in a virtual world and also to increase the formation about the existence of the company. In designing this website author using the method of 5W1H (what, where, who, why, how). The advantages of media website in this promotion can also be carried faster more clear by looking at the components that are on the website.The existence of this Furniture Adid website is expected to push the company expanded rapidly in increasing sales with promotional media so that it can enter the global market and lifting the industry’s potential to come back into the wicker industry the flagship. Abstract

The purpose of the business guide book Café Coffe Robusta Perahu Depo Resto, based on observations on current conditions, so as not to show a manual book that can be known by the public or consumers, in addition to business competitors Cafe Coffe Robusta Boat Depo Resto that developed in Pagaralam Palembang. The purpose of this design is to create a manual book in the form of logogram and logotype information on Café Coffe Robusta Perahu Depo Resto products.The design method used is the Glass Box method, the design is done rationally and logically, starting from data collection, interviews and observation. The analytical approach used is the 5W + 1H analysis method (what, who, where, when, why, how) to find a solution to the problem at hand.The results of the design of the main media Café Coffe Robusta Perahu Depo Resto are manual books, as well as supporting media namely, sign boards, menu lists, clothes, aprons, posters, x-banners, mugs, stickers, pins, which aim to strengthen the application of the main media.Keywords : Manual Book, Brand, and Café Coffe Robusta Perahu Depo Resto.

Abstract

Not everyone knows how to make traditional cakes, especially West Sumatra local cakes made from rice  and glutinous rice flour which often appear in traditional events or family events. Meanwhile, a recipe book that specifically contains recipes from West Sumatra-based sticky rice cakes is still hard to find.The book "Cooking Traditional Cakes" Divided into three parts, namely the photo section that displays  photos of recipe-guided cakes, illustrations of baking ingredients and illustrations of how to make  cookies. Photos and illustrations are chosen to have an attractive appearance that is different from recipe books in general and aims to make information more easily and memorable. The purpose of designing  the book "Cooking Traditional Cake" is to make it easier for people to find information about the recipe for West Sumatra cakes, especially those made from sticky rice.In the problem solving process, 5W + 1H analysis is used (what, who, where, when, why, how) to find  solutions to the problems faced. In compiling prescription information, interviews and literature studies were carried out on the teachers of SMKN 9 Padang and the lecturers of the UNP Tata Boga Study  Program, then the results of the studies and observations were arranged in a simple layout and did not  confuse the user with a simple language style. To support the main media, supporting media are made, namely posters, Instagram accounts, aprons, spoons, post cards, bookmarks and stickers.Keyword : Books. recipes, illustrasion, cake, local.

Abstract

Community Learning Center is a social institution in educational field. One of community learning center in Padang is Suka Maju Sejahtera Community Learning Center, it held Equality Education Program Packet A, B, and C that is equal with Elementary School/Junior High School/and Senior High School. This Community Learning Center just move to Tepian Danau Cimpago. The impact of this movement is registrant decreased. Community also have less respond in this Equality Education. So, it is necessary to make a promotion through audio visual media which can make community interested and convinced, especially for droput people. The right promotion media is promotion video through social media.The Suka Maju Sejahtera Community Learning Center promotion video concept is cinematic video. This concept is choosen because it will be able to attract people emotion to animate that video. So people will be currious about Equality Education Program Packet A, B, and C that is held by Suka Maju Sejahtera Community Learning Center.The designing method used SWOT analysis aproach to find strength, weakness, oppurtunity, and threat in Suka Maju Sejahtera Community Learning Center promotion. Creative program used is AISAS (Attention, Interest, Search, Action, Share). AISAS is used because the people habit nowadays can not be separated with internet. The Suka Maju Sejahtera Community Learning Center promotion video designing was aplicated in promotion video main media through. Supporting media are poster, sticker, shirt, pin, brochure, clock, name card, and banner. Abstract

Pop-up books are usually presented with the purpose of providingeducation to children in the form of children's stories, such as fairy tales or inIndonesia itself called folklore or stories that come from the community. Ingeneral, folklore in Indonesia is full of educational elements. One is the story ofthe people of Si Bujang: Asal Mula Burung Punai originating from the Pelalawanarea, Riau Province which tells of a boy named Bujang who is rebellious to hisparents, so Bujang is cursed into a bird of punai. Abstract

Sakti Sungai Janiah Fish Pond is a tourist attraction in West Sumatra Province. Sakti fish attraction has long been famous, the fish in the pond according to legend originated from humans, but in recent years visitors who have arrived have begun to decrease due to the many new tourist objects opened, this situation makes the authors interested in improving returning the number of visitors in the magical fish attraction by making a promotional video entitled "Sungai Janiah sakti fish tour".The approach methodology in designing this promotional video uses a qualitative approach, namely by understanding the information in a problem. So that the selection of promotional media is more effective, the message to be conveyed is easily understood by the target audience.The result of designing a promotional video for the Sungai Janiah sakti fish pond is a work in the form of videos that will be packed in full HD format and diburning on DVD discs, and for supporting media produced are DVD labels, DVD disc covers, shirts, stickers, key chain, pin, totebag and poster.Keywords: media promotion, nature tourism, legendary tourism, Sungai Janiah magic fish.

Abstract

The goal of this research is to make a draft of cinnamon syrup promotion media in the form of Highlight Video which is used as the main media as well as supporting media that support the main media. The design of audio-visual media as a medium for rebranding alfafa cinnamon syrup through highlight videos is felt to explain about cinnamon syrup which is a typical souvenir of Kerinci so that it can be used as information material to increase knowledge for the Kerinci community on cinnamon syrup, so as to increase the amount connoisseurs of cinnamon syrup itself. The selection of Highlight Video tools is a great way to promote cinnamon syrup. How to deliver information through Highlight Video is expected to be responded well by many groups, ranging from the public to tourists. Through Highlight Video, it is hoped that it can be used as a tool to explain things about Kerinci cinnamon syrup. Rebranding alfafa cinnamon syrup through video highlights trying to convey all things related to cinnamon syrup, namely how to display the freshness contained in cinnamon syrup so that alfafa cinnamon syrup can be enjoyed by anyone, anytime and anywhere.The design of alfafa cinnamon syrup rebranding through video highlights was carried out through a research process in the form of collecting data by observing, interviewing and studying literature. Abstract

Abstract—The use of information plays an important technology role in supporting the dissemination  information about promotions. The rise of the world of advertising using social media is one strategy that is considered effective and efficient to promote and publish tourism. It is undeniable that audio-visual media in the form of video is now often used to promote tourism objects. The selection of video promotion as this final work aims to design informative and communicative Audio Visual Media in building tourism in Tanah Datar Regency. In addition, the presence of this promotional video can later introduce Bukit Aua Sarumpun as one of the favorite tourist destinations for tourists. This design method is through qualitative descriptive method. This means that the data collected is not in the form of numbers, but rather data derived from interviews, field notes, documentation, and official documents. SWOT analysis (strenght, weakness, opportunities, threats).
