<![CDATA[Desa Gili Timur Kecamatan Kamal Kabupaten Bangkalan secara geografis berketinggian 5 m dari permukaan laut, topografi rendah dan berbatasan langsung wilayah kampus Universitas Trunojoyo Madura; Sebelah utara dengan Desa Telang, sebelah timur dengan Desa Kebun, sebelah selatan dengan Desa Banyuajuh, sebelah barat dengan Desa Gili Anyar. Pemerintah Kabupaten Bangkalan pada tahun 2013 membantu masyarakat Desa Gili Timur membangun instalasi Biogas dari kotoran sapi. Instalasi biogas tersebut dibangun sebanyak 25 buah dan diletakkan di setiap keluarga yang mempunyai peternakan sapi. Pada awal tahun pertama biogas berjalan dengan baik dan lancar, akan tetapi memasuki tahun kedua muncul banyak permasalahan, antara lain; tersumbatnya output pembuangan, melubernya pembuangan sisa proses biogas, gas tidak keluar, sedikitnya gas metan yang keluar, gas keluar tidak teratur. Semua permasalahan tersebut mengakibatkan masyarakat mulai enggan memanfaatkan biogas, sehingga lambat laun pemanfaatan instalasi biogas yang telah dibangun menurun sampai banyak yang tidak digunakan lagi. Berdasarkan hasil diskusi dengan kedua mitra, maka masalah prioritas yang harus segera diselesaikan adalah melakukan perbaikan pembuangan kotoran sisa proses digester sehingga permasalahan ketersumbatan sisa proses dapat teratasi. Hasil dari kegiatan ini adalah melakukan optimalisasi biogas dengan menggunakan screw pump untuk mempermudah pengeluaran sisa proses digester. Screw pump mempunyai kemampuan memindahkan slury yang ada dalam lubang pembuangan dengan lebih mudah, dengan sistem operasi manual dapat menghemat dan mempermudah dalam proses operasinya. Sehingga masyarakat Desa Gili Timur mampu mengoperasikan kembali biogas yang telah dibangun serta menggunakan biogas tersebut dalam memasak setiap hari. Sedangkan cairan sisa digester ditampung dengan menggunakan bak biopori, sehingga tidak meluber dan dapat digunakan sebagai pupuk.]]>

<![CDATA[The purpose of Science, technology, dam art for Society are to (1) build skilled and professional Buring society in planting passion fruit; (2) to produce high quality, high quality juice, syrup and dodol passion fruit; (3) building entrepreneur spirit and improving economy of Buring society through passion cultivation, and (4) creation of Micro small and Medium Enterprises in Buring Area. To achieve these objectives, there will be activities such as: (1) counseling of planters, fertilizers, and maintenance of passion fruit trees; (2) training of juice making, syrup and passion fruit dodol; and (3) socialization and training on how to market products produced from passion fruit either directly with consumers or online. <![CDATA[Dusun Brige’en Desa Paras Kecamatan Tegal Siwalan Kabupaten Probolinggo is a settlement located in a hilly area. The soil structure that is rocky causes the people difficult to dig the groundwater to fulfil their clean water needs. The flow of PDAM service cannot be used by the people because the location is far from the center of water flow. Daily, the people use the water from the water springs of Paras River that is located under Dusun Brige’en directly or binging it with water container. To solve the problem, it is offered the IbM program entitled ‘IbM Dongki: the Solution of Clean Water Supplying for the Hilly Area. The installation of the hydram pump is hoped to be able to solve the people problem for their difficulty to supply clean water. The machine is suitable to apply because it can flow the water from the springs into the people settlement located about 1 km above it. Besides, it is so economic, it does not need fuel or electricity. It uses only water falls power from the water flow of the springs. The maintenance of the machine is simple also.]]>

<![CDATA[IbM Program for Shoes & Bags Leather Manufacturers in Malang aims to increase the capacity of them who are economically productive community groups. Their problems are (1) lack of ability in managing production schedule so often can not serve the consumer on time, lack of ability to determine the cost of product so that the selling price is not standard, lack of ability to market product which only relies on buyer/reseller, and limited production capacity. The method of implementing the program to solve partner problems is to provide various training, then proceed with mentoring. Sewing machine equipment is provided to increase production capacity. The output target of the program is to increase total sales and partner's revenue. Impacts of program execution have increased production capacity, increased sales and earnings turnover, enhanced communication capabilities of partners, diversity of marketing media and successful to compete overseas market.]]>

<![CDATA[In Curahmalang Village, Rambipuji District, there are 2 Household Industries (IRT) that is IRT tofu and IRT tempe. The amount of soybeans spent in 1 day to make tempeh 15 kg and know 6 kg. Both IRTs in their production use the traditional way. Some of the problems faced by business partners include: dependence on wood fuel, soybean peeling, pressing and packaging that still using manual tools, soybean milling must be milled to others, financial management has not been handled properly. The methods offered to overcome these problems are: (1) Human Resources Training, (2) Procurement of machines for production improvement, as for machines needed: soybean peeler machine, Pedal Sealer machine, soybean machine, presto and gas stove , manual press machine, (3) financial management training. The result of community service is a partner able to increase the number of tofu production, in a day spent 9 kg soybean and tempe 19 kg soybeans, business partners are able to record bookkeeping and financial reporting well, the partner is able to operate the machine well, training and mentoring activities responded well, as evidenced by partner involvement and active partner participation during the activity and partners understand the importance of making good and healthy tempe and tofu.]]>

<![CDATA[The development of batik business in Bangil sub-district of Pasuruan Regency is still very promising, due to the increasing demand of batik products and its derivatives, there are many batik craftsmen, the existence of local government policies that encourage the growth of batik business, and the opportunity to utilize information technology to expand the marketing area . But these factors can not be optimized, because the process of producing batik takes a long time, the amount of batik equipment is very limited, marketing is still limited due to the number of small and conventional production; and have not applied good business management for business development. Based on this, the purpose of this activity is to help improve the status of business partners from household business to micro business. The solutions include: (1) providing equipment and production process improvement training such as (a) the use of batik motif, wok and table cap to accelerate the process of printing motifs to fabrics; and (b) use of dyed bags, lorod stoves and lantern pans for staining processes; (2) utilization of online media for marketing system development; (3) business management training includes: (a) improvement of raw material procurement planning system; (b) improvement of production system and quality control, and (c) improvement of accounting system. Activities undertaken can improve the quality and quantity of batik production of partners.]]>

<![CDATA[Creative industries supported by the government one of them is the culinary industry that is currently expected not only able to increase revenue for industrial owners, but also a character of tourism in a region. Two industrial partners who became the object IbM is including the culinary industry that is precisely the cake industry. The industry is owned by Susana and Ling and is located in Lumajang District. Both partners are known to have utilized the potential to increase their production so that they can be better known in the Lumajang community by way of entrusting products in certain locations such as in the school cafeteria or market. The partner's effort to improve the variety of products also looks like a dry cake product with a selection of cheeses and corned beef and oatmeal with a selection of beans, cheeses and chocolates in which this variety is the result of partner creations. Traditional marketing methods as mentioned above also need to be improved in order to expand the product marketing network. solutions for such problems through trademark registration for partner products, enhancement of online-based marketing methods through the creation of web-based marketing applications and ongoing assistance in the form of post-grant community service cooperation as well as the procurement of more adequate means of production.]]>

<![CDATA[One of the typical traditional snacks in Java is rangginang. This snack is made from sticky rice. There are two types of glutinous rice commonly used as raw materials rangginang, namely black and white rice sticky rice. There is no difference about the taste of the two ingredients. The most striking difference lies only in the color of its appearance that refers to the color of raw materials, ie black and white. The underlying goals for developing this business are (1) Want to lift the traditional food to the community, so as not to be displaced by the types of modern food. (2) To create business opportunities for Tempursari people in particular and Donomulyo District community in general. (3) To increase income so that people can fulfill their life needs thus it will be able to improve their welfare. (4) Creating rural economic growth so as to prevent migration from rural to urban. Problems faced by partners in terms of production are low productivity, product quality, capital and packing while in terms of management is related to financial bookkeeping, marketing knowledge and entrepreneurship. Solutions are given to solve problems faced by partners by providing rengginang printing production tools and tools for glutinous cooking to improve productivity and quality as well as training (entrepreneurship, marketing and bookkeeping).]]>

<![CDATA[The purpose of this community service is giving knowledge and ability for the employee so that it could increased their work motivation. The material of work motivation is delivered to give intensity, direction, and individual perseverance for the employee to reach the goal of the company. This community service was held in 2 SMEs, which is Raffal Craft and Syifa Handicraft. Both of this SMEs is handicraft SME that is export-oriented and hopefully is able to push and increased export realization of craft industry on Bantul Regency. The method used is giving material within presentation accompanied with simple cases and film screening about work motivation. It is caused by the various education level of the participant, start from Junior High School until Senior High School. Target of this community service is the implementation of community service as expected, which is the increased production of this two SMEs accompanied with improvement quality of the product and good services and also able to compete both in local or global world.]]>

<![CDATA[The purpose of science, technology, and art for the community are to overcome the problems faced by teachers in Elementary School, Junior High School in the hinterland Tengger Village Ngadas and Junior High School PGRI in the District Poncokusumo Malang Regency, namely; (1) the quality of learning is still below the standard (2) the mastery of teachers in the field of computer programs such as Microsoft word and excel is still low, and (3) Teachers found difficulty in drafting proposal of Classroom Action Research and writing scientific articles. To overcome these problems, then the training: 1) the computer applications with Microsoft Office and Excel programs, (2) the preparation proposal of Classroom Action Research, and (3) the writing of scientific articles. The expected target is teachers able to master information technology, writing scientific papers in the form of Classroom Action Research and scientific articles that can be published so as to improve the professional quality of teachers in the quality of education in the interior Tengger Tribe in particular and District Poncokusumo generally. The results that have been achieved from science, technology, and art are (1) The teachers are able to operate Microsoft Word and Excel well and understand the type and function of Microsoft Word and Excel icons, (2) The teachers can prepare the proposal of Classroom Action Research and scientific articles that can be published.]]>
