Abstract

Cesarean section gives effects to the mother, including post-surgical pain. The pain cause physical and psychological reactions for the postpartum mother such as impaired mobilization, lazy activity, sleeplessness, loss of appetite, and lack of care for the baby. To overcome this, there are need for a way to control pain with non-pharmacological therapy, one of which is handheld finger relaxation technique. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of handheld relaxation technique on the intensity of pain in post-cesarean section patients in Camar I Room of Arifin Achmad Hospital in Riau Province. This pre-experimental study used one group pretest-posttest design. This study was conducted from March to June 2018. The population was all post-cesarean section mothers with a sample of 20 people. Data were analyzed using the Wilcoxon test. The result showed that the mean pain intensity before handheld relaxation techniques was 6.05 while after was 1.50. The result was affects of handheld relaxation techniques on the intensity of pain in this study with a p value of 0.000 (α <0.05). The results of this research can be used as a method for reducing pain in post-cesarean section patients at Arifin Achmad Hospital in Riau Province.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effectiveness of prenatal yoga in reducing the discomfort of third-semester pregnant women. Method: This type of research is the analytic and cross-sectional design. The number of samples is 50 pregnant women who meet the inclusion criteria by using a purposive sampling technique. The instrument data collection using a questionnaire that has been tested for validity and reliability. Bivariate analysis using chi-square correlation test and multivariate analysis using multiple logistic regression. Result: The result of the data shows that prenatal yoga is effective in reducing the discomfort of third-trimester pregnant women routinely by > 6 times. Chi-square test results show a significant effect of p-value <0.05. The multivariate result shows the most effective factor in reducing discomfort pregnant women was cramping with OR by 118.58 (95% CI: 6.01-2340.20), so it can be interpreted that prenatal yoga> 6 times effective in reducing cramps in pregnant women. Abstract

Anemia is a problem of MMR in Indonesia. based on the global prevention of Anemia, the prevalence of anemia in pregnant women is 28.3%. The anemia rate in Rangkap Jaya Health Center is 64.3%. Anemia occurs due to physiological changes and is aggravated by malnutrition. Efforts that can be done so that pregnant women do not experience anemia are consumption of Fe tablets, improve diet and add vitamin C-rich food substances such as those found in red guava fruit and beets. This study aims to determine the differences in the administration of red guava fruit juice (Psidium Guajava) and beet juice (Beta Vulgaris) to hemoglobin levels in anemic pregnant women at Puskesmas Rangkapan Jaya Depok. Methodology this study uses a Quasy Experiment design with a Two Group Pretest Posttest Design. The population in this study are all trimester III pregnant women. The samples of this study arev30 people with the intervention of red guava juice and beet juice. Given for 14 days which are 250 cc. The sampling technique used is purposive sampling. Results: That there are differences in the provision of red guava juice and beet juice on hemoglobin levels in pregnant women. With the average value before and after administration of red guava fruit juice is 8.4 g / dl to 11.5 g / dl and the average value before and after beet juice is 8.5 g / dl to 10.2 g / dl. p-value of 0.001. The conclusions is Red guava juice is more effective against changes in hemoglobin levels.

Abstract

Breech pregnancy is a pregnancy with fetal abnormalities where this condition puts the mother and fetus at high risk of morbidity and mortality. The risk of breech delivery makes caesarean sections the safest way to help with childbirth. Based on Riskesdas data (2010), WHO sets the indicator of caesarean delivery 5–15% for each country, where in Indonesia 10% of Caesarean sections are performed on pregnant women with breech location. Normal labor is the desire of every pregnant woman, therefore some kind of maneuver is promoted in changing the breech position into the location of the head. Moxa therapy is a therapy done by burning mugwort potions that are compacted and rolled cylindrical and placed near the bladder acupuncture point (BL) 67 located on the outside of the little finger of the foot until it produces hyperemi from local vasodilatation, the goal of which is to help the fetal playback version. Hypnobirthing can suggest and reprogram the subconscious mind that can be directed to make changes in the mother's body. The release of fear in hypnobirthing helps the mother relax and allow her baby to spin. The purpose of this study is to find out the effectiveness of moxa and hypnobirthing therapy and the most effective methods for improving breech location in Trimester III pregnant women. The research method used is pure experimentation with post test control group design. Samples in this study as many as 33 pregnant women with gestational age of 32-37 weeks. The data analysis used is kruskall-wallis test. The results of the study found that moxa therapy and hypnobirthing are effective in improving breech location with a value of p 0.001 (p<0.05). Moxa therapy is the most effective method with a mean value (25.50). Moxa therapy recommendations are effective and safe to help the fetal screening version with breech location.

Abstract

Breast milk is breast milk that contains optimal nutrition, both in quantity and quality, however, in fact, the coverage of breast milk in Indonesia is not in accordance with the expected target, namely 80%, like in 2011 the coverage of breast milk in Indonesia was 61.50%. Young papaya is a natural plant acts as a lactogum because it can increase and facilitate the production of breast milk. The purpose of this research is to determine the effectiveness of young papaya (carica papaya L) on the smooth production of mother's milk breastfeeding. This type of research used quantitative with quasi experiments. This research conducted in The working area of Puskesmas Sentajo Raya Teluk Kuantan in 2020. The population in this study were all mothers 81 breastfeeding children under 6 months of age who are in the Work Area Sentajo Raya Puskesmas and a sample of 15 people. The sampling technique used consecutive sampling. Univariate and bivariate data analysis Bivariate analysis was performed using thetest Wilcoxon. Research result It was found that the effectiveness of young papaya on the smooth production of breast milk, with a p value <α, namely 0.001 <(0.05). It is recommended to health workers at the Sentajo Raya puskesmas to increase knowledge regarding non-pharmacological therapy in increasing breast milk production, especially the effectiveness of young papaya against smoothness of breast milk in nursing mothers.

Abstract

Background: Serum glutamic oxaloacetic transaminase (SGOT) and serum glutamic pyruvic transaminase (SGPT) are increased in tissue damage. Ashitaba contains many compounds that can reduce serum SGOT and SGPT levels. Objective: This study was proposed to prove that giving Ashitaba extract could reduce serum SGOT and SGPT levels in rats exposed to burn injury. Methods: This study used a posttest only control group design with 20 rats as samples. All research samples were treated with second-degree burns and were divided into 2 different groups, the treatment group (given Ashitaba extract 300 mg /kg BW) and the control group. The blood serum was analyzed for SGOT and SGPT test on the 2nd, 8th, and 14th days. For statistical analysis, the Wilcoxon test used to analyze the levels of serum SGOT and SGPT. Results: There was no significant difference in serum SGOT and SGPT levels between the control and treatment groups on the 2nd, 8th, and 14th days Conclusion: Ashitaba extract could not reduce serum SGOT and SGPT levels in rats exposed to burn injury.
