Abstract

The purpose of this study was to identify information about the satisfaction of teaching and learning online at home due to the Covid-19 pandemic. The research method used is the survey method, with the instrument used is a questionnaire through a Google form that is distributed to elementary school students. In this study, respondents were elementary school students in the city of Surabaya. Word has circulated that online learning is less effective, because there is no maximum preparation in terms of regulation, field implementation and also students, as well as supporting infrastructure for online learning, therefore researchers have a desire to test the satisfaction level of online learning. Because there can be no learning content lost in the middle of this pandemic. The results of this study there are several obstacles experienced by students, teachers and parents in online learning activities, namely lack of technology mastery, additional internet quota fees, additional work for parents in assisting children's learning, communication and socialization between students, teachers and parents become less.

Abstract

21st century in education demands that every classroom learning must be based on HOTS which can be applied to teacher learning tools such as lesson plans. HOTS-based learning can be integrated into the curriculum, one of which is in science learning, with the aim of finding out how the results of HOTS-based learning tools are in the form of making and implementing HOTS in the implementation of science learning for class IV odd semesters at SDN Bugangan 01 Semarang. This type of research is descriptive qualitative research. The subject of this research is the fourth grade teacher. The data in this study were obtained through interviews, observation and documentation. Findings Based on the overall discussion and discussion, it proves that the teacher has implemented HOTS in the lesson plans, made in accordance with the standards for preparing curriculum learning tools. However, there are still some parts of the preparation of the lesson plans that must be improved because they are not in accordance with the guidelines for preparing the correct lesson plans but overall they are good.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the feasibility of developing a traditional engklek 'opersia' game with the theme of healthy food. The type of research used by the researcher is research and development. The data analysis technique used is descriptive qualitative. The instruments used are media validation assessment questionnaires, material validation, initial field trials. Data collection was obtained from the results of the media validation assessment and, material validation, initial field trials at SD Negeri 03 Majalang. The results of the first stage of media expert validation obtained an average validity of 86%, the second stage obtained an average validity value of 96% with a very feasible category. Material validation in the first stage obtained an average validity of 86.7%, the second stage obtained an average validity of 92.2% with the criteria very suitable to be used. In the initial field trial, the opera engklek media got a teacher response with media and material validation of 92% and 94.4%, respectively. In conclusion, the Opera Engklek media that has been developed is very valid and suitable for use in student learning at the fifth grade teacher of SD Negeri 03 Majalgu.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to analyze students' learning difficulties in retelling stories and find out the factors that influence students' difficulties in retelling stories. This study uses a qualitative research method with a descriptive approach. In this study, researchers used several methods to collect data, including: observation, interviews, questionnaires (questionnaires), and documentation. The results of this study indicate that the highest student error is found in retelling the contents of the story that has been read, while the lowest student error is in student understanding. From the percentage of student errors, it shows that most students still have difficulty in retelling the content of the story, do not know the intrinsic and extrinsic elements of the story, the applied teacher learning style, lack of student response, and lack of student focus in learning. In addition, student difficulties can be influenced by internal factors and external factors.

Abstract

Drawing is one of the activities favored by elementary school students to develop creativity and the need for the right method in teaching it. The focus of this research is how the drawing ability of third grade students of State Elementary School 02 Manggungmangu is using the technique of drawing with numbers. This study aims to determine and analyze the drawing ability of third grade students of State Elementary School 02 Manggungmangu. This type of descriptive qualitative research with research subjects third grade students of State Elementary School 02 Manggungmangu. The data in the study were obtained through interviews, observation and documentation. The results showed that the third grade students of State Elementary School 02 Manggungmangu had good abilities after being given drawing treatment using number drawing techniques. It can be seen from the results of students' drawings using indicators of lancae aspects, detailed aspects, and original aspects. So this shows an increase in students' creative abilities in producing images using number drawing techniques.

Abstract

The aim of this study was to find out how the practice learning from home for class VI SDN Gayamsari 02 Semarang during COVID-19 pandemic could be implemented. The type of research used is a qualitative method with descriptive approach. This study uses several methods to collect data, including: interviews, observations, questionnaires and documentation. The data analysis technique used is triangulation technique. Results of this study indicate that Class VI students SDN Gayamsari 02 carry out learning at home accompanied by parents/family members/tutors.  In one week students study from home 5-6 days with an average of 1-2 hours every day. Implementing learning from home that is taught by teachers to students is by communicating via WhatsApp, providing learning videos, assignments, making projects/creativity practices, and online learning through zoom/google meet application. Social media that are most often used to help by students during learning are whatsapp and youtube. Obstacles experienced by students are lack of concentration, difficulty understanding lesson, students feel bored and cannot ask questions directly to teacher. Support provided by the school while studying from home is by providing internet data packages and lending books. Internet facilities and student devices are also available and can be used properly.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the relationship between parenting styles and interest in learning elementary school age children in the Excellent Course. This research was carried out at the Excellent Course in November of the 2020/2021 academic year. This research is a quantitative research using correlation method with parenting style variable as independent variable and children's learning interest as dependent variable. Sampling was done using a saturated sampling technique where all members of the population were used as samples. The number of samples in this study were 20 children. Data collection using questionnaires and interviews. Data analysis used Pearson product moment correlation test. In the correlation test, the correlation coefficient is -1.9656 with of 2.101. Then is -1.9656 <2.101. This shows that there is no significant relationship between parenting styles and interest in learning for elementary school age children in the Excellent Course.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is knowing how to succes the example non example method can improve students result ability in Learning IPS. Second purpose is to get the evidence the example non example method can improve students lerarning result and students learning activity. Based on the question of this study is how to improve students learning result and students learning activity using the example and non example leraning method. This study has four stage, there are planning, implementing, acting, observating and reflecting. There are two cycle in this study. Based on the result of this study from the cycle one and two using the test showed the cycle one is 17 students from 36 students who get more than 70 score, it showed the study success is (51,42%) while in cycle two the student who get more than 70 score is 30 students, it showed the study success is (80,22%)

Abstract

The problem in this research is the lack of understanding of students in reading texts in Indonesian subjects so that it has an impact on student learning outcomes. This research is a descriptive quantitative research with an experimental model with the aim of knowing the effect of the model using the picture and picture model on the learning outcomes of fourth grade Indonesian students. The results showed that there was a significant effect of using the picture and picture model on the learning outcomes of fourth grade students with a t-count value (5.931) greater than t-table 2.02439, which means H0 is rejected and H1 is accepted. Based on the results of the analysis above, it can be concluded that the picture and picture model has an impact on students in understanding Indonesian reading texts so that they can improve their learning outcomes. From these conclusions, the impact resulting from this study is known that the use of the picture and picture model can improve the learning outcomes of fourth grade Indonesian students.

Abstract

The problem in this study is the lack of parental motivation for student learning outcomes which makes students have no desire to learn.  This study is a quantitative study with a correlation design that aims to determine the relationship between parental motivation and learning outcomes in mathematics for fifth grade elementary school students, cluster XVIII.  Based on the results of inferential statistical analysis, the value of tcount () is greater (>) the value of ttable (1.67252) at a significance level of 5%.  Thus H0 is rejected and H1 is accepted.  Based on the analysis above, it can be concluded that giving parents motivation has an impact on students' enthusiasm for learning in participating in the learning process so that they can improve their learning outcomes.  From these conclusions, the impact of this study is known that the provision of high parental motivation can improve student learning outcomes.
