Abstract

This study aims to describe: (1) the relationship between the characters with the natural environment in the novel Api Awan Asap by Korrie Layun Rampan, (2) the form of damage to the natural environment in the novel Api Awan Asap by Korrie Layun Rampan, and (3) the relevance of research results to literary learning in high school. The method used in this research is descriptive qualitative method with Greg Garrard's ecocritical approach. Research data sources are the results of interviews and the novel Api Awan Asap by Korrie Layun Rampan. Data collection techniques use library techniques, see and note. Researchers play a direct role as the main instrument of research. Data validation is obtained through triangulation of data sources, methods, and theories. Data analysis used by the research is an interactive analysis analysis model by collecting data, reducing data, presenting data, and verifying data. The results of the study obtained a number of 26 citations which described in accordance with the two formulations of the problem in the study. 14 data that describes the form of relationship between characters and the natural environment and 12 data illustrate the form of natural environmental havoc. The results of this study have a suitability if relevant to literary learning in high school. Keywords: Ecocriticism, Fire of Smoke, Learning Relevance

Abstract

This study aims to describe: (1) Error writing letters (2) Wrong writing, (3) misuse of punctuation, (4) writing errors of absorption elements, (5) Relevance of EBI in Indonesian Language Learning in Senior High Schools.The method used in this study is a descriptive qualitative method with a discourse analysis approach. The subjects used in this study were written data or literature, namely in the form of Mojokerto Newspaper Articles. The object of this study is in the form of text on Radar Mojokerto Articles in the study of Language Errors. Data collection techniques use observation, interview, and documentation techniques. Researchers play the role of using reading, notes and literature study techniques. Validation of the data was obtained through triangulation of data sources, methods, and theories. Data analysis used was the interactive analysis model by collecting data, reducing data, displaying data, and verifying data. The results obtained from the study showed that: (1) Errors in letter writing in health articles and entertainment articles of Radar Mojokerto in total amounted to 16 data, including misuse of italics and incorrect use of bold letters (2) Error writing words in health articles and entertainment articles Radar Mojokerto in total amounted to 4 data which included writing errors in front and particle words, (3) misuse of punctuation in health articles and Radar Mojokerto entertainment articles in total totaling 5 data which included the use of punctuation points (.), comma (,) punctuation marks and hyphens (-), (4) writing errors of absorption elements in health articles and Radar Mojokerto entertainment articles in total totaling 2 which include writing errors of positive word absorption elements and ornament, (5) EBI relevance in learning Indonesian in high school in accordance with KI 4, KD 3.1. Abstract

This study aims to describe the implementation of the tradition of Geret Sapu in Jambuwok Village, the lexical and cultural meaning of Geret Sapu, as well as the relevance of Geret Sapu's traditional study of Indonesian Language and Literature learning in Senior High Schools. In this study took the tradition of Geret Sapu in Jambuwok Village, Mojokerto Regency. Research data can be obtained using documentation and interview methods. The subjects in this study were the Jambuwok Village community. The type of research used in this study uses qualitative descriptive research methods. Data validation techniques used are triangulation of data sources and methods. There are three data analysis techniques used, namely, data reduction, data verification, and data display. The results of the study indicate that there are two processes in the implementation of Geret Sapu tradition in Jambuwok Village. The first process is preparation and the second process is implementation. The form of goods in Geret Sapu carried out in Jambuwok Village has six forms which include broom sticks, jugs, mats, pillows, bolsters, and soil. The meaning of semantic aspects is analyzed using lexical meaning and cultural meaning. Geret Sapu tradition studies can be used as a relevance to the learning of Indonesian Language and Literature in High School, namely as a reference for teaching materials. Abstract

This research was conducted to study the error of using prepositions in class XI A 6 N SMK Padang. This study uses a qualitative method. The data source is 30 short stories students of class XI A. The data of this study consisted of prepositions in class XI students. Data collection was done by document, read, and note. The results of this study indicate that there were nine prepositional errors. There are repetitions of errors in the same word. From these errors can be drawn conclusions about students who are still confused using prepositions in accordance with the correct language rules. The use of prepositions can be found in other studios. Related materials in all subjects are related to each other. Keywords: errors, prepositions di and to, short stories.

Abstract

Language is the main means of communication in human life in this world, both in oral, written, or only in the form of certain symbols. As social human beings cannot communicate without language, humans inevitably have to interact with other humans. This research is a case study related to the acquisition of children's language in verb word classes in early childhood. Related to that, mastery of a language can be learned formally through understanding how the language is formed and created. Extensive knowledge about the process and nature of language acquisition can greatly help children in the success of language learning in children. Abstract

Language is a tool used by humans and speaking is a process used by human compilations. The age of children is a very fast age in English. Intake of this language must be transferred with various factors to prevent interference with children. Disorders that are divided into two namely wernicke aphasia and broca aphasia. To see the problem in this study using descriptive qualitative methods. The aim is to see the disorder in children aged 6-7 years. The findings obtained from this study are disorders experienced by Wernicke's aphasia or motor aphasia, regulating the use of devices in children and practicing speaking and speaking skills in children. Abstract

Implications of conversation are pragmatic implications that arise as a result of violating the principle of conversation in a speech. Implications of conversation often occur in a speech, one of them in the film. Laskar Pelangi is the fourth best-selling film with a total audience of 4.6 million people. As a film that is still often screened, there may be conversational implicature in the film's utterances. This study aims to describe the form of conversational implicature in the Laskar Pelangi film and explain the process of establishing conversational implicature as a result of violating the principle of cooperation in the Laskar Pelangi film. The research approach is a pragmatic approach and a qualitative descriptive approach. Research data in the form of fragments of speech are categorized in the form of conversational implicature and occur due to violations of the principle of cooperation. The data source of this research is a fragment of speech in the film Laskar Pelangi. In this study, the method used, namely refer to the method. The technique used is observation and note taking. The data that has been collected is then analyzed through three stages of the flow model, namely data reduction, data presentation, and data verification. Presentation of the results of data analysis in an informal form. From 9 data found, including 3 violations of quantity maxim, 1 violation of quality maxim, 4 violations of relevance maxim, and 1 violation of maxim of manner. From this research, it is expected to find implicit meaning in a film related to real life.

Abstract

This mini research aims to: (1) describe speech acts contained in the writing of the book "Legenda Cerita Rakyat Nusantara", (2) explain the meaning of speech acts contained in the reading book. This mini research uses descriptive qualitative research type. To analyze the data through several stages, namely the stage of reading, identifying, categorizing, describing, and concluding. Data sourced from the book reading "Legenda Cerita Rakyat Nusantara" by Cahaya Fadilah published by Pustaka Anak Bangsa. The results obtained from this mini research are as follows: (1) the speech acts contained in the reading book "Legenda Cerita Rakyat Nusantara" are localized acts of speech, illocution and perlocution, (2) the speech acts contained in the reading book are meaningful for ask / pray, declare, decide, rule, and invite. Abstract

Literary works are part of works commonly referred to as works of fiction that have links to topics that support life. A writer is free to pour pleasure and live it into fiction. This Beneficial Object uses the novel Chased by Shadow by Djawastin Hasugian. The novel "Chased Shadow" in terms of the psychology of literature. The purpose of this study is to describe the facts of the id, the ego, the superego which are considered the main characters in the novel Chased Shadow. The method in this research is descriptive qualitative. The analysis used in this study uses heuristic and hermeneutic reading methods. Sigmund Freud. The technique of collecting data is reading and taking notes. The results of this study are the Mufti characters in the novel Chased Shadow have aspects of internal conflict that contain Sigmund Freud's theories namely id, ego, superego. Abstract

Short stories are reading material that tells short stories, are interesting, and arouse the emotions of readers. Describe the story of the highlighted figure with fictional cohesiveness. In a short story, the characters are raised and subject to a problem until the completion stage. The purpose of this study is to analyze how the hierarchy of Abraham Maslow's multilevel needs theory, represented by figures in the collection of the storyline Surau Kami by A.A Navis. The object of this study is the short story Surau Kami. This type of research uses descriptive qualitative methods with a psychological psychology approach. Content content analysis model. Use reading techniques and note things related to the purpose of the study. Based on the results of the analysis in the story of Robohya Surau Kami by A.A Navis, it can be concluded that the author has synchronously presented an extraordinary story in the story of Roboh Surau Kami. There are five hierarchical needs of Abraham Maslow's theory, namely: physiological needs represented by the figures Grandfather and Mr. Kari. The needs of love and possessions from the representation of the figures Indra Budiman and Mr. O.M, The need for security is represented by the figures Grandfather and Lena. The need to be respected is represented by Misri and the mother. The highest need is self-actualization represented by a nurse figure. Keywords: Hierarchy of needs, and short stories.
