Abstract

This study aimed to investigate the effect of motivation, work stress, and self-esteem on employee performance through locus of control at PT. Procity Surabaya. The population of this study were employees of PT. Procity that involves several divisions, such as: marketing, accountants, tax, legal, and public relations. The sampling technique was purposive sampling that observed 90 employees as samples. Moreover, the analysis technique applied a data processing application, i.e., the SmartPLS 3.0 As the results of data analysis, this study indicated that the motivation had significant effect on employee performance; the work stress had insignificant effect on employee performance; the self-esteem had significant effect on employee performance, the motivation had insignificant effect on employee performance through locus of control; the work stress had insignificant effect and on employee performance through locus of control; and the self-esteem had significant effect on employee performance through locus of control.

Abstract

The main development of a country can be measured by the education progress. It is allbased on people’s awareness to continue their study until college level. That’s why thegovernment must continue their development in the field of education by providingadditional college indicated by the significant growth of state universities. It requires thecollege to compete by improving brand equity to the people’s mind especially forprospective students or students. The strong brand equity in the people’s mind willaccelerate decision related enrolled in college. Most state universities in Indonesia are inSurabaya with four public universities. This study aims to determine the effect of brandawareness, brand associations, and the perceived quality of decision to choose stateuniversities in Surabaya. The method used quantitative by multistage sampling in 2012students of state universities in Surabaya. The results of this study showed that brandawareness has directly effect on the decision to choose state universities in Surabaya. Butbrand association has no effect on the decision to choose. Those happen on perceivedquality which only ITS respondents do not have effect on decision to choose stateuniversity in Surabaya. This is due to the differences of strategies used by each stateuniversity on students association.Pembangunan utama sebuah Negara dapat diukur melalui perkembangan pendidikan. Haltersebut ditunjukkan oleh kesadaran masyarakat untuk melanjutkan pendidikannya hinggatingkat perguruan tinggi. Merupakan keharusan bagi pemerintah untuk melanjutkanpembangunan di sector pendidikan dengan indikasi pertumbuhan jumlah perguruan tinggiditunjukkan oleh pertumbuhan perguruan tinggi negeri yang signifikan. Kondisi inimenuntut perguruan tinggi harus bersaing dengan membangun ekuitas mereknya di benakmasyarakat khususnya bagi calon mahasiswa ataupun mahasiswa itu sendiri. Ekuitasmerek yang lebih kuat dibenak masyarakat akan mempercepat keputusan memilihperguruan tinggi. Perguruan tinggi negeri terbanyak di Indonesia adalah di Surabayasebanyak 4 perguruan tinggi negeri. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruhkesadaran merek, asosiasi merek, dan kesan kualitas terhadap keputusan memilihperguruan tinggi negeri di Surabaya. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah kuantitatifdengan sampling bertahap pada mahasiswa angkatan 2012 perguruan tinggi negeri diSurabaya. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa kesadaran merek berpengaruh langsungterhadap keputusan memilih perguruan tinggi negeri di Surabaya. Namun asosiasi merektidak berpengaruh terhadap keputusan memilih. Pada kesan kualitas hanya responden ITSyang tidak memiliki pengaruhnya untuk memutuskan memilih perguruan tinggi negeri di Surabaya. Hal ini dikarenakan perbedaan strategi yang diterapkan di masing-masingperguruan tinggi negeri untuk mengasosiasikannya di benak mahasiswa.

Abstract

This study aims to understand the implementation of marketing strategies for murabahah products in BPR Sharia in Lamongan. The research method used is a case study by interviewing the head and account officer of BPR Sharia Lamongan Branch as interviewees. The results showed that murabahah products in the implementation of marketing strategies applying a service marketing mix that has been adapted to the environment where BPR Sharia Lamongan Branch was located, including: (1) murabahah products that are sharia-based, (2) promotion using socialization strategies as well as sharia banking education programs, (3) an easy process, and (4) employees (human resources) who have honesty, trusteeship, and politeness, and can establish a family-like relationship with customers. The implementation of marketing strategies is interpreted as keeping trust entrusted to the welfare of the people.

Abstract

The organizational performance has not achieved its optimum yet in Private Higher Education inCentral Java due to several factors both the external factors and internal factors. The externalfactors are intense competition going on competition is among private university itself,competition with State University, as well as the possibility of competition with foreignuniversities. The internal factors are derived from the behavior of its own human resources, suchas the tendency of low organizational commitment, ineffective leadership, organizational cultureand career development that is not performing well. The purposes of this study are to describethe organizational culture, transformational leadership, career development, organizationalcommitment and organizational performance, to analyze the influence organization culture,transformational leadership and career development on organizational commitment andorganizational performance, to analyze the influence of organizational culture, transformationalleadership and career development to organizational performance through organizationalcommitment. The study population numbered 396 head of course. Sample of 130 respondentsassigned, according to recommendation of Hair, et al. (1998) that the sample for SEM analysisbetween 100-200 respondents. The data analysis is using SEM (Structural Equation Modelling).The results of this study show that organizational culture, transformational leadership and careerdevelopment are statistically positive and significant impact on organizational commitment; andorganizational performance. Organizational commitment mediates the effect of organizationalculture, transformational leadership and career development to organizational performance.Thus, organizational commitment is very important and needs to be improved as early aspossible so that human resources in universities in Central Java have better responsibility andloyalty to their institutions.Belum maksimalnya kinerja organisasi pada Perguruan Tinggi Swasta di Jawa Tengahdisebabkan oleh beberapa faktor di antaranya adalah faktor eksternal dan faktor internal. Faktoreksternal yaitu ketatnya persaingan yang terjadi, yakni persaingan antar Perguruan Tinggi Swastasendiri, persaingan dengan Perguruan Tinggi Negeri, maupun kemungkinan persaingan denganperguruan tinggi asing. Faktor internal yaitu bersumber dari perilaku sumber daya manusiasendiri, seperti kecenderungan rendahnya komitmen organisasional, kepemimpinan belumberjalan efektif, budaya organisasi dan pengembangan karir belum terlaksana denganbaik.Tujuan penelitian ini adalah: mendiskripsikan budaya organisasi, kepemimpinantransformasional, pengembangan karir, komitmen organisasional dan kinerja organisasi,menganalisis pengaruh budaya organisasi, kepemimpinan transformasional, penegembangankarir terhadap komitmen organisasional dan kinerja organisasi, serta menganalisis pengaruhbudaya organisasi, kepemimpinan transformasional, pengembangan karir terhadap kinerjaorganisasi melalui komitmen organisasional. Populasi penelitian berjumlah 396 ketua programstudi. Sampel ditetapkan 130 responden, sesuai rekomendasi Hair, et al. (1998) bahwa sampeluntuk analisis SEM antara 100-200 responden. Analisis data menggunakan SEM (StructuralEquation Modeling). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa budaya organisasi, kepemimpinantransformasional dan pengembangan karir berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap komitmen organisasional dan kinerja organisasi. Komitmen organisasional memediasi pengaruh budayaorganisasi, kepemimpinan transformasional dan pengembangan karir terhadap kinerja organisasi.Dengan demikian membangun komitmen organisasional sangat penting dan perlu dilakukansedini mungkin agar SDM di Perguruan Tinggi Swasta Jawa Tengah mempunyai tanggungjawab dan loyal terhadap lembaga dan tidak mudah meninggalkan lembaganya sehingga kinerjaorganisasi dapat meningkat.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of emotional intelligence, sociodemographic factors on investment decisions, and financial literacy as moderating variables of emotional intelligence and sociodemographic factors on investment decisions. The research population is investor saham pemula (ISP) community, a sample of 106 investors. The analysis technique used in this research uses the help of the Smart PLS 3.0 data processing application. the results of the study indicate that Emotional Intelligence has a positive and significant effect on investment decisions; Sociodemography has no effect on investment decisions; Emotional intelligence is positive and significant to investment decisions moderated by financial literacy; positive and significant sociodemography on investment decisions moderated by financial literacy

Abstract

This research explains the effect of learning capability to work experience and employee loyality: Moderation effect resilience to change. This research is survey research using to the technique of distributing questionnaires to the sample used in this research of 85 pouple, the hypothesis was tested using Partial Least Square with SmartPLS 4.0 Software. Variable measurement uses a Likert scale of 1 to 5. Thaat results of this study show that: (1) tihere is a significanti positiive influence of learning capabilitiy on work experience. (2) tihere is a significanti positiive influence of learning capability on employee loyality. (3) tihere is a significanti positiive influence of work experience in employee loyality. (4) tihere is a significanti influence of resilience to change on work experience. (5) tihere is a significanti positiive influence of resilience to change o employee loyality.(6) there is a insignificant negative influence of resilence to change on learning capability and work experience.(7) there is a insignificant negative effect of resilience to change on learning capability and employee loyality.

Abstract

Tax Volunteers are college students assigned by the Directorate General of Taxes to assist in reporting Tax Returns (SPT) using the electronic Tax Return (e-SPT). Regarding to the services provided by tax volunteers, it is necessary to evaluate their performance. This study aims to analyze the factors that influence the service quality performed by the Tax Volunteers whether they have met the service quality and taxpayer satisfaction. The data obtained was processed using Importance Performance Analysis (IPA) with the help of Cartesian diagrams for service quality and to determine the level of taxpayer satisfaction using a Tao diagram on Customer Satisfaction Index analysis. Based on the findings, the service quality provided by Tax Volunteers in Surabaya is influenced by factors consisting of courtesy and reliabilities factors, while tangibles and serviceability still need to be improved. Meanwhile, the factors of reliability, competence, courtesy, security, accessibility, communication, and customer understanding are considered as good service quality, while the tangible and serviceability factors don’t affect service quality. The following analysis relates to taxpayer satisfaction, it was found that in general taxpayer satisfaction has been fulfilled because the interests or expectations of taxpayers are lower than the perception of performance obtained.

Abstract

Tourism is an important economic sector in Indonesia and has developed rapidly into the tourism industry in each province, especially the Special Region of Yogyakarta province which is thick with culture and history. This study aims to determine the influence of destination image of Yogyakarta on behavioral intentions of domestic tourists. The data used in this study are primary data obtained from questionnaires. The sampling technique of this study is non probability sampling. The results of the study showed that the destination image of Yogyakarta has a direct influence on the behavioral intentions of domestic tourists. Destination image assessment can be measured through the variable infrastructure, attraction, value of money, and enjoyment. Because the four variables have high average values, it can be interpreted that destination image of Yogyakarta as a tourist destination has a good influence on domestic tourists.

Abstract

This study explores the pivotal role of trust in mediating the impact of perceived usefulness and ease of use on the adoption of QRIS (Quick Response Code Indonesian Standard) among the residents of Banjarmasin. Employing a purposive sampling method, the research gathered data from 353 QRIS users, predominantly women, across various districts and demographic backgrounds. The results of this research showed that both perceived usefulness and perceived ease of use strongly influence trust, which in turn significantly affects the usage decision. The research corroborates similar studies, emphasizing the necessity of enhancing system usability and trust to foster higher adoption rates. This study provides crucial insights for stakeholders aiming to optimize QRIS as a widely accepted payment platform in Banjarmasin, highlighting the importance of focusing on user-centric design and trust enhancement to drive technological adoption and usage.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of financial rewards, interpersonal rewards and promotions on employee performance. The population in this study were employees in the textile industry company. The sample used was 30 respondents. Respondent sampling method used in this research is saturated sampling. Methods of data collection using survey methods, with the research instrument is a questionnaire. The data analysis method uses statistical analysis in the form of multiple linear regression tests. The analysis tool uses the SPSS version 26 application. The results of this study indicate that the variable financial rewards, interpersonal rewards and promotions have a positive and significant effect on employee performance variables.
