Abstract

This study aimed to identify both internal factors and external that determined the food basedSMEs performance, to know the role of SMEs in the supply of food-based products for thecommunity, and to formulate strategies to improve the food based SMEs performance inMakassar. The population of this study was 119 firms. The number of respondents was 60entrepreneurs. Sample selection used simple random technique. Data were analyzed usingdescriptive analysis method, and analitical Hierarchy Processes (AHP). Processing the data usingboth SPSS 16.00 and Super Decision 1.60. The results showed that market availability, long ofbusiness, quality control, business management, and sales promotion as internal factors thataffected SMEs performance, and then access to capital, access to information market, probusinessgovernment policies, interest rate loans and technical assistance as external factors.Role of SMEs in providing food-based products for the community was included in goodcategories with an average value (mean) = 3.55. Entrepreneurs should maintain the importantfactors in determining the performance, with constant improvements in the factors that are lessimplementation, in order to obtain best performance.Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi faktor-faktor eksternal dan internal yangmenentukan kinerja usaha kecil dan menengah (UKM) pengolah produk berbasis pangan,mengetahui perannya dalam menyediakan produk-produk berbasis pangan bagi masyarakat, danmerumuskan strategi untuk meningkatkan kinerja UKM pengolah produk berbasis pangan diKota Makassar. Populasi penelitian sebesar 119 perusahaan. Jumlah sampel responden sebesar60 orang pengusaha. Penentuan besarnya sampel menggunakan teknik acak sederhana. Datadianalisis dengan menggunakan metode Analisis Deskriptif, dan Analitical Hierarchy Processes(AHP). Pengolahan data menggunakan program SPSS 16.00, dan Super Decision 1.60. Hasilpenelitian menunjukkan bahwa faktor-faktor penting dan prioritas yang menentukan kinerjaUKM adalah ketersediaan pasar, lama berusaha, pengendalian kualitas, manajemen usaha, danpromosi penjualan sebagai faktor-faktor internal, dan akses permodalan, akses informasi pasar,kebijakan pemerintah yang pro bisnis, tingkat bunga pinjaman dan bimbingan teknis sebagaifaktor-faktor eksternal. Peran UKM dalam menyediakan produk-produk berbasis pangan bagimasyarakat termasuk dalam kategori baik dengan nilai rata-rata (mean)= 3,55. Pengusaha UKMharus mempertahankan pelaksanaan faktor-faktor penting penentu kinerja usahanya, dengantetap melakukan perbaikan pada faktor-faktor yang masih kurang pelaksanaannya, agarmendapatkan kinerja yang lebih baik.

Abstract

The adoption of cashless economies has become a popular trend globally. Cashless transactions provide convenience, security, and faster processing times compared to traditional cash payments. This review intends to provide an overview of the adopted literature on cashless economies, including their drivers and barriers. The review highlights the role of technology, government policies, and social factors in shaping the adoption of cashless economies. Additionally, the review discusses the implications of the adoption of cashless economies for businesses and consumers, including potential risks such as cybersecurity threats and the exclusion of individuals without access to digital payment systems. The review concludes with recommendations for stakeholders in promoting the adoption of cashless economies while addressing the challenges associated with this transition. Overall, this review provides valuable insights into the current state of the adoption of cashless economies and the factors that influence it.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of intellectual intelligence on the level of understanding of Islamic financial management with interest in learning as a mediating variable in students of the Management Study Program, Faculty of Economics, University of Semarang. This study used primary data in the form of a questionnaire measured using a Likert scale. This study uses the census method. Data was obtained by distributing questionnaires to 97 students. Statistical method for testing the hypothesis using PLS. The results of testing the hypothesis show that intellectual intelligence and learning interest have a significant influence in a positive direction on the level of understanding of Islamic financial management in students of the Management Study Program, Faculty of Economics, University of Semarang. Interest in learning mam[u mediates the influence of intellectual intelligence on the level of understanding of Islamic financial management in undergraduate students of Management Faculty of Economics, University of Semarang.

Abstract

One of Indonesia's leading exports from the manufacturing industry is the furniture sector. Yogyakarta is one of the regions with the largest furniture exports in Indonesia. CV. CA is one of the creative economy actors in the craft sub-sector who has succeeded in creating a variety of simple and elegant products with quality and certified wood raw materials. This research method uses qualitative and quantitative approaches. CV CA develops products and carries out a level of readiness for innovation and competes with similar competitors. Based on the results of this study, CV CA's business processes are proven in the field and pass the competency. Therefore, through this research, we can find out what CV CA has implemented so that it can penetrate the export market and revive the SME’s of the creative economy industry.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to examine the effects of demographic and social characteristics, investment criteria, perceptions and investors awareness of investment behavior on mutual funds in Indonesia. Analysis in this research using logistic regression or logit regression. The object of this study is investors and non-investors of mutual funds in Indonesia, as many as 126 people. Data processing uses SPSS PASW software version 18 for the Windows operating system. The results of this study show that demographic and social characteristics, investment criteria, and awareness of investors simultaneously have a significant effect on investment behavior on mutual funds in Indonesia.

Abstract

This study aims to investigate the impact of the concept of “bandarmology” or herd behavior (HB) on the investment decisions of millennial stock investors in Indonesia who are influenced by influencer Anton Swandana. The research adopts a quantitative approach with an ex post facto method and uses the Partial Least Square (PLS) analysis technique to test the hypothesis. Data was collected through a questionnaire distributed via Google Form to 100 respondents selected by the quota sampling technique. The results indicate that source credibility, herd behavior, risk perception, and emotional response have a significant effect on investment behavior intention. This research contributes to the field of stock investment in Indonesia by providing a deeper understanding of the behavior of millennial stock investors and the factors that influence their investment decisions.

Abstract

This research proves empirically that the mechanism of corporate governance and sustainability report as a predictor of financial performance and its impact on market performance. The research model is built on the basis of stakeholder theory. This research uses purposive sampling method in sampling technique. The sample used in this study are non-financial companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange in 2017-2019 which publish annual reports and sustainability reports, respectively. The results of this study indicate that both the disclosure of the sustainability report and the corporate governance mechanism have a positive and significant effect on financial performance. Financial performance has a positive and significant effect on market performance. Further findings indicate that corporate governance mechanisms affect market performance through financial performance. On the other hand, the disclosure of the sustainability report has no effect on market performance through financial performance.

Abstract

Tourist can voluntarily do sacrifice in order to get experience when during travel. The important in knowing the tour visitor behaviour can easily push the forming of tourist interest to revisit by minimizing marketing cost. This research aims to test the trust moderation role towards tourist revisit interest in Bangsring Underwater Tour Banyuwangi. Analysis technique used in this research is Moderated Regression Analysis (MRA) with data collection technique through questioner distribution and in-depth interview.This research done by taking respondent of 120 by purposive sampling method. This research result shows that there is no trust variable moderation effect that strengthen the connection between visitor experience with revisit interest. With multiple regression analysis testing proven that trust is predictor factor and together tourist experience and trust have significance impact toward tourist revisit interest Bangsring Underwater Tour increasing.

Abstract

The purpose of this research was to examine the effect of sustainability reporting economic, environment, and social aspect on corporate value mediated by earnings persistence, and earnings timeliness. This research used purposive sampling method that was the selected samples that meet predetermined criteria, so the number of samples that meet the criteria was 16 companies for each period from the entire population of non-financial companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange in 2016 – 2019. The data analytical method used in this research was path analysis and mediation hypothesis analysed by using sobel test. The result of analysis shows that sustainability reporting economic aspect has negative but not significant, environment aspect has negative and significant, and social aspect has positive and significant relationship on the earnings persistence. While sustainability reporting economic, environment, and social aspect have positive but not significant effect on the earnings timeliness. Then, sustainability reporting economic aspect has positive but not significant relationship on the corporate value, environment and social aspect have negative and significant effect on the corporate value. Accordingly with earnings persistence has negative but not significant effect on corporate value. While earnings timeliness has positive and significant effect on the corporate value. This research also shows that earnings persistence and earnings timeliness do not mediate the effect of sustainability reporting economic, environment, and social aspect on corporate value. Abstract

This research aims to determine whether the financial performance as measured by Debt to Equity Ratio, Current Ration and Return on Assets and institutional ownership have a significant effect on the disclosure of Corporate Social Responsibility. This research used corporate social disclosure index (CSDI) as an indicator of Corporate Social Responsibility disclosure by using the Global Reporting Initaatives (GRI). Research method used is descriptive and verification method. Population in this research was categorized as high-profile companies that were listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange in 2012 totaling 189 companies. The sampling technique used was random sampling technique with iteration. The result was a company that became the research sample as many as 46 companies. The data used in this study was a secondary data obtained through the study of the documentation to get a company's annual report data form samples, idx statistics and Indonesian Capital Market Directory (ICMD) in 2012. Data analysis used multiple regressions. Classical assumption test used before regression of that includes normality test, heteroscedasticity, multicollinearity and autocorrelation. It also examined the hypothesis with the t-test and F-test to examine the influence of independent variables to the dependent variable. The result of data anlaysis indicated that Debt to Equity Ratio and Current Assets were partially no significant effect on the disclosure of Corporate Social Responsibility. Return on Assets and Institutional Ownership partially significant effect on the disclosure of Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR). And Debt to Equity Ratio, Current Assets, Return On Assset and Institutional Ownership simultaneously significant effected on the disclosure of Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR).Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui apakah kinerja keuangan yang diukur dengan Debt to Equity Ratio, Current Ration and Return on Assets dan institutional ownership berpengaruh signifikan terhadap pengungkapan Corporate Social Responsibility. Penelitian ini menggunakan corporate social disclosure index (CSDI) sebagai indikator pengungkapan Corporate Social Responsibility dengan menggunakan Global Reporting Initiatives (GRI). Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode deskriptif dan verifikatif. Populasi dalam penelitian ini dikategorikan sebagai perusahaan high-profile yang terdaftar di Bursa Efek Indonesia pada tahun 2012 sebanyak 189 perusahaan. Teknik sampling yang digunakan adalah teknik pengambilan sampel acak dengan iterasi. Hasilnya adalah perusahaan-perusahaan yang menjadi sampel penelitian adalah sebanyak 46 perusahaan. Data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah data sekunder yang diperoleh melalui dokumen laporan tahunan perusahaan public di IDX statistik dan Direktori Pasar Modal Indonesia (ICMD) tahun 2012. Analisis data yang digunakan regresi berganda. Uji asumsi klasik yang digunakan sebelum regresi yang meliputi uji normalitas, heteroskedastisitas, multikolinearitas dan autokorelasi. Selain itu juga meneliti hipotesis dengan t-test dan F-test untuk menguji pengaruh variabel independen terhadap variabel dependen. Hasil data anlaysis menunjukkan bahwa Debt to Equity Ratio dan Aktiva Lancar secara parsial tidak berpengaruh signifikan terhadap pengungkapan Corporate Social Responsibility. Return on Assets dan Kepemilikan Institusional secara parsial berpengaruh signifikan terhadap pengungkapan Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR). Selain itu Debt to Equity Ratio, Aktiva Lancar, Return on Assset dan Kepemilikan Institusional secara bersamaan signifikan berpengaruh terhadap pengungkapan Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR).
