AbstractThe research method used in this final assignment is the desktiptif method with direct observation and interviews with traditional coffee product entrepreneurs and the community in Nagari Koto Baru Solok district. Based on data analysis, it can be concluded that the steps in making repackaging of traditional information on coffee products in Nagari Koto Baru, Solok Regency are as follows: First, identify user needs, namely identifying the needs of the community. Based on the results of the interviews that have been conducted to the community in Nagari Koto Baru, Solok Regency, the community needs more information about the traditional coffee processing process in Nagari Koto Baru, Solok Regency. Besides that the community is also interested in knowing how to process traditional coffee because the coffee has a distinctive taste. Not only that, people who like to consume coffee consume sachet coffee more often than traditional coffee. This is due to the lack of attention to traditional coffee information or limited information about traditional coffee. Second, gathering information and selecting information sources by recording knowledge and collecting data from traditional coffee product entrepreneurs in Nagari Koto Baru, Solok Regency. Third, evaluating information validation, after collecting data sourced from the community and traditional coffee entrepreneurs in Nagari Koto Baru Solok Regency. Fourth, packaging information that has been obtained from the previous process into more effective and efficient information by repackaging information into the form of repackaged information products that are in line with user needs.Keywords:Â Repack the product; coffee; Solok

This paper discuss about the beneficial of government publication at DPRD West Sumatera. This study were purpose to describe: (1) the beneficial of government publication within the office of DPRD West Sumatera; (2) the constraints which faced in process of beneficial of government publication at the office of DPRD West Sumatera. The data were collected by direct monitoring and interview with Kabag and Kasubag of the office ofÂ DPRD West Sumatera. The analyzing of data by descriptive way. Based on the analyzing of data, that can concluded the things such as. First, the beneficial of government publication at the office of DPRD West Sumatera was unfulfill resembled. Second, the constrain which faced in process of beneficial of government publication at the office of DPRD West Sumatera; (1) the collection of government publication is not on good arrangement yet; (2) the source of human power (SDM) which is less; (3) the responsibility of librarian, and (4) there is no input of data of government publication to computer. This article discusses Fulfillment pemustaka Information Library and Archives in West Sumatra province. Preparation of this article aims to describe: (1) the type of information needs of the visitors, and (2) the relevance of library materials to the needs of the visitors information. Relevance in the context of this study is defined as suitability, linkage or alignment between the library materials available to the needs of the visitors who use it. Based on analyzing the data summarized as follows: (1) the information needs of the visitors have not been fulfilled to the fullest because library materials are not required to follow the development of information and the latest updates or not. (2). based on the type of the visitors to the information needs of library materials available are less relevant to the information needs of the visitors. The purposes of this article are to describe about: the design of database records retention schedule in depreciation archives with the use of Microsoft Access at the Faculty of Economics, University of Padang. The method used in this paper is descriptive method. Data were collected through observation, interviews, and literature at the Faculty of Economics, University of Padang. Based on the discussion, it can be concluded that: (1) a general description of the archive in the depreciation schedule retenasi archives with the use of Microsoft Access at the Faculty of Economics, University of Padang as follows: Invitation Letter archive list, Snail Mail, Mail Important, SK. Rector, SK. Dean, Rector's Report, Report of the Dean, Employee Performance Report, Report of Activities, Academic Handbook, Handbook for Student Activities, Books Graduation, MOU (agreement / MoU), MOA (agreement), SK. Establishment of the Faculty, and SK. Establishment Program stored in the room administration; (2) the design process database retention schedule archives in depreciation archives with the use of Microsoft Access at the Faculty of Economics, University of Padang as follows: run Microsoft Access, create a table in Microsoft Access, queries, forms, reports and swithboard on Microsoft Access as the final display or The main menu database records retention schedule.Keyword: database, electronic archive.

AbstractThis paper discusses the community's response to the services in the ummi nagari mosque in Alahan Panjang, Kabupaten Solok. The purpose of this study was to describe the community's response to the services at the Ummi Nagari Alahan Panjang Mosque Library Kabupaten Solok. The method used is descriptive method with a quantitative approach, which is collecting data directly and distributing questionnaires at the Ummi Nagari Alahan Panjang Mosque Library Kabupaten Solok. Based on analyzing the data, it can be concluded as follows. First, the community's response to librarians is good, because the services provided by librarians make people very satisfied. Second, the community's response to collections in the library is good, because the collections provided in the library are complete. Third, the community's response to the facilities is also good, this can be seen from the people who visit the library, they feel comfortable with the facilities provided.Keyword:Â services, library.

The purpose of this study was to describe the factors that cause students not to visit Bung Hatta Library. Data was collected through observation and guided interviews.Â Interviews was were given to students.The data was analyzed by (1) describe the results ofthe interview, (2) describe thedirectobservation, (3) obtained in accor dance with the theories discussed, (4) concluded, (5) reporting. Based on analyzing the data it can be concluded: (1) the of the library is very far from the students location studied at campus II Aia Pacah, (2) the collection thatÂ available in the library are obselent and (3) the books which are needed by student are often not available in the library. Bung Hatta University Library should provides a collection as the uders needed. Collections of the library can not meet the needs of the students, and the collection most obselent. The purpose of writing this article is to describe: 1) evaluation of reference services; (2) determine the obstacles encountered in implementing the evaluation of reference services; and (3) determine the efforts to overcome obstacles encountered in the evaluation of reference services at Badan Perpustakaan dan Kearsipan Provinsi Sumatera Barat. Data collected by observation and interviews with librarians and user library in Badan Perpustakaan dan Kearsipan Provinsi Sumatera Barat. Data analysis was done descriptive. Based on the results of the research, concluded as follows: (1) evaluation conducted by the reference services of Library and Archives routine yet, so there are still shortcomings in service; (2) there are still obstacles encountered in implementing the evaluation of reference services, so that the service provided is not maximized; and (3) efforts to be made by Badan Perpustakaan dan Kearsipan Provinsi Sumatera Barat in overcoming these obstacles. The purpose of this paper is to 1) find out an overview of elephant foot disease in Agam. 2) Describe the Information on Elephant Foot Disease (Filariasis). The method that is used a descriptive method, and the data collecting technique throught direct literature study is data collection using books, articles online and printed. Based on analyzing the data, it is concluded: (1) 18 people in Agam Regency have elephantiasis disease, 18 residents are spread in Lubuk Basung, Tanjung Mutiara, Palembayan, AmpekÂ Nagari and others. Elephant foot with leg condition has been enlarged and difficult to be cured. Previously, there were 46 people who suffered from elephantiasis and died as many as 28 people; (2) the steps in making about the re-packing of information about elephantiasis (filariasis) are as follows: (a) topic determination; (b) tracking information in accordance with predetermined topics; (c) processing information, evaluating and tracing information; (d) determine the form of information packaging and packing of information; (e) disseminating information by means of promotion.Keyword: Agam, filariasis, repackaging information.

AbstractThe process of making a Silungkang Songket prototype in Sawahlunto City uses a descriptive method with data collection techniques through interviews with traditional leaders and service offices. The process of making songket silungkang traditional clothing prototypes in Sawahlunto City is as follows: (1) data collection is done by interviewing techniques, (2) making a design in the form of a product to be made, (3) prototype making process in accordance with the work plan -the basic provisions of a topic that must be developed starting from making cover which is the hard skin on the outside of the book containing the title of the book, and accompanied by several supporting images; the preface contains a number of paragraphs which contain the thanksgiving of the author to Allah SWT and those who have helped and always support, a description of the prototype content, the basis and purpose of prototyping, the author's expectations, and the place, month and year when the preface was made ; the introduction contains a brief introduction to the Silungkang Songket and also a little about Sawahlunto City; the main contents of the book contain articles about silungkang songket which include history, motives and types based on the year.Keywords: silungkang songket, prototype

This paper aims to describe the development of the collection at the Library of SMA Negeri 1 Sungayang, analyze visits to the Library with librarian SMA Negeri 1 Sungayang, and to describe the efforts of library staff in increasing interest in a visit to the Library of SMA Negeri 1 Sungayang. From the data analysis it was found that: (1) building a collection of the Library of SMA Negeri 1 Sungayang not running optimally within the meaning of the collection has not been planned development on a regular basis, (2) visits to the Library librarian State sma 1 Sungayang relatively little on average only 21 6% per day during tahun2012, and (3) library staff efforts made to attract visitors to the Library of SMA Negeri 1 Sungayang (2) visits to the Library librarian SMA Negeri 1 Sungayang relatively little on average only 21.6% per day for tahun2012, and (3) library staff efforts made to attract visitors to the Library of SMA Negeri 1 Sungayang is to organize a library building to be attractive and comfortable place to visit, providing a new source of reading and in accordance with the requirements librarian, adequate facilities, and into force profetional library and library staff that is friendly to visitors. Of these findings are expected in future pay more attention to the principal collections of the Library, especially coaching SMA Negeri 1 Sungayang can be done on an ongoing basis and regularly. In addition, the library in order to run basic tasks and fugsion optimally, should libraries be managed by professional librarians library science background.
