Jurnal Ilmu Informasi Perpustakaan dan Kearsipan is a journal of Library and Information Science published by the Information Science, Library and Archival Study Program of Indonesian Language and Literature Department, State University of Padang. The journal covers all issues in information, librarianship and archival studies. The coverage of the discussion in librarianship may be viewed from various perspectives of disciplines. Â Abstract Â The writing of this paper aims to: (1), describe an annotated bibliography of internal medicine subject books for a collection of textbooks at the Andalas University Medical School Library. (2), explain the constraints and efforts faced in preparing an annotated bibliography of internal medicine subjects in the Library of the Faculty of Medicine, Andalas University. The research method used is descriptive method, which is collecting data directly from the source. Data was collected through direct observation at the Andalas University Medical School, the number of books contained in the library subjected to internal diseases as many as 52 book titles. classifying the collection of internal medicine subjects, typing book annotations, typing the name of the author, year of publication, title of the book, and typing the index of keywords and finally compiled sequentially according to the modern language association (MLA) format which can describe quotes more fully and accurately with all sources research printed for example books. The results obtained in the bibliographic preparation stage are First, the determination of the title of the book is done by the availability of clothing collections by visitors. Second, Collection of library materials by searching directly and collecting books one by one. Third, the selection of library materials is done by separating the internal subject books with the surgical subject book. Fourth, grouping library material is done so that it collects with the same subject book by using sequence number numeral notation. Fifth, Making keywords is done by taking words from the title or content in a striking book. Sixth, Index Compilation aims to facilitate the search for information needed. Seventh, Typing a bibliographic text is done in the format of the Modern Language Association (MLA). Eighth, Examination of the final bibliographic text aims to see whether the writing is correct or not.Keywords: bibliography, annotations, internal diseases

This study aims to (1) describe the process of getting the manuscript in West Sumatra West Sumatra to be recorded in the West Sumatra Provincial Library. (2) describe how the storage process in the ancient manuscripts stored in West Sumatra West Sumatra Regional Library and (3) describe the constraints faced by the West Sumatra Provincial Library in getting the manuscript in West Sumatra. The method used is descriptive method of techniques, observation and interviews with librarians manuscripts acquired by the library in the form of media over manuscripts, manuscript copies of the parent, bought the manuscript from aliwaris manuscript. Ancient manuscripts stored in the Library of the West Sumatra Provincial form of media over manuscripts, manuscript copies of the parent. Based on the research results, we can conclude the following: First, the Library of Bank Indonesia Representative Office of West Sumatra province wore cyber library application system. Second, the obstacles encountered on the system design borrowing books home delivery, namely: (1) users (employees of Bank Indonesia) will be reluctant to come to the Library of the Representative Office of Bank Indonesia, (2) Library of the Representative Office of Bank Indonesia's West Sumatra province had to add librarians whose task is to deliver the book; (3) lower costs such as buying a vehicle that is useful for transporting the books borrowed users; and (4) limited collection in Perpustakaaan Bank Indonesia Representative Office of West Sumatra Province. This study aims to describe: (1) a step in obtaining literacy skill information in the library of State Polytechnic Padang; (2) how to use information in the skill of literacy pattern in Library of State Polytechnic of Padang. Based on analyzing the data, the following conclusions are summarized. First, there are some steps in obtaining literacy skill information in Library of State Polytechnic of Padang that is to formulate information requirement is the first step in conducting information searching, librarian will know what information is used for what. Allocate and evaluate the quality of information that can be seen from the use of such information and the credibility of the information to be a lesson for themselves. Saving and rediscovering information, a librarian must be able to store the information which is already obtained and already in the fulfillment of information needs and the inclusion of resources is also done to appreciate the scientific work as well as for easy rediscovery. Secondly, there is a different way of using information in skill of literacy pattern in Library of State Polytechnic of Padang with skill of contracting relevant information. Respondents have been able to estimate relevant information or have been able to combine information. AbstractShearch for information on graduates of Indonesian Language Study Programs a the Faculty of Language and Art. Paper. Library and Archives Information Study Program, Indonesia dan Regional Language and Literature Departement, Language and Art Faculty, Padang State University. In this paper we discuss the search for graduates of the UNP Language and Arts Faculty of Indonesia Language Study Program. The purpose of this study was to determine the profile of Indonesia Education Study Program graduates and to know the competency and employment of these graduation.Â The research method approach used is a qualitatif method. Data was collected using questionnaires. The location of this study was carried out on the application or distributing questionnaires through social media. The object of the search was the Inodesian Language Education alumni who responded to 47 alumni. The data collection technique was by sharing questionnaires through WhatsApp media. Analyze the data used by using the google form application.Â First based on the results of the study, concluded the following matters. Graduates of the Indonesian Language Study program every year do not settle or go up and down, many respondents are among women with the dominant year of entry in 2014, the lenght of the waiting period for employment before graduation 1-3 months while their first job is < 3 months. The two Indonesian Language Education alumni are mostly looking for work through the internet, the level, and they work in the education sector, both private and obtain the first salary of RP. 1.000.000 and the first salary of Rp. 1.000.000- IDR 2.000.000.Keyword: search; education; alumniÂ

The purpose of this study was: (1) describe how the procurement of library materials, (2) the constraints in the procurement of library materials, and (3) efforts to overcome the obstacles faced in the procurement of library materials in the Library of the Faculty of Economics, State University of Padang. Research methodology is a qualitative method, namely by describing the date relating to the procurement of library materials in the Library of the Faculty of Economics, State University of Padang. Date obtained through direct observation and interview techniques with library employees. From the discussion, found three of the following. First, the procurement of library materials: (a) the procurement procedure is to take stock of library books to the library possessed by submitting a letter to Prodi to request a list of what books are needed study program at the Faculty of Economics. After that, the list of books needed by the library are sent to the Assistant Dean (World War I) to be approved procurement of library materials, (b) sources of procurement of library materials only by purchase and gift, (c) the selection of library materials is done by asking syllabus used to teach a course lecturer, view the catalog publisher and is based on a book that is widely used by students. Second, constraints that limited funds to procure, ordered books often have limited stock of books, and employee education background is only one library. Third, efforts to overcome the obstacles that raise funds by collecting fines that students who are late returning books, copy books owned by the lecturers to supplement library materials, and provide training for staff in the field of library educational background is not a library. The purpose of writing this paper are: (1) to describe the implementation of information literacy at the library of SMA Negeri 1 Padang, (2) to describe the barriers found in implementing the information literacy at library SMA Negeri 1 Padang. Collecting data was done interview and direct information to trough the librarian of SMA Negeri 1 Padang based on data analyzing, it can be concluded: First, the student of SMA Negeri 1 Padang had made use the information technology very well, meanwhile the librarian of SMA Negeri 1 Padang was not capable to help the student to find the information properly by not implementing information literacy program, information literacy model, information retrieval, and user education the library of SMA Negeri 1 Padang, so that the optimalization of information did not run well. Second, the cause of the implementing information literacy at the libarary SMA N 1 Padang was that the librarian had not know the information literacy, so that the implementation of information literacy was hard to apply optimally.

AbstractBased on the results of the study, the following is concluded. The attitude of visitors towards library services in the Padang Panjang City Library. 1) the attitude of the librarian in the Padang Panjang City Library has been very positive, seen from the attitude of the librarian who is able to serve users wholeheartedly and help users when needed. 2) the visitor's attitude is very positive towards the collection services available at the Padang Panjang City Library. This can be seen from a collection of collections quickly so it is very easy to find the desired collection. 3) visitors' attitudes towards the facilities are also very positive as seen from the facilities at the Padang Panjang City Library, neat reading tables and reading chairs that allow visitors and make visitors comfortable visiting the Padang Panjang City Library.Keyword:Â Library, Collection, AttitudeÂ

The purpose of writing this paper is to describe the process of indexing journal articles annotated in education as a means of information retrieval. AbstractÂ This article is about making of design application annotated index of the newspaper subject Minangkabau base on website in The Archives and Libraries of West Sumatera. The purpose of this article are: (1 making of design application annotated index of the newspaper subject Minangkabau base on website in The Archives and Libraries of West Sumatera; and (2) using of design application annotated index of the newspaper subject Minangkabau base on website in The Archives and Libraries of West Sumatera. The data is collected by direct observation to the newspaper. The example of this product is taken in Archieves and Library of West Sumatera. Base on the result the conclutions are. First, making of design application annotated index of the newspaper subject Minangkabau base on website in The Archives and Libraries of West Sumatera base on website in The Archives and Libraries of West Sumatera started with make the database at MySQL that use phpMyAdmin. The next step is connected the database with web application used sublime text 3. After that design the display of admin and user with different facilities. The admin display has facilities management data such as added data, deleted data, edited data, showed data, and searched data. The user display just has searched information dat. It aims to keep the data. Second, using of design application annotated index of the newspaper subject Minangkabau base on website in The Archives and Libraries of West Sumatera in The Archives and Libraries of West Sumatera may use with some method, that is: (1) direct search information by viewing the display information data; (2) typing keyword that user know in the search field; (3) searching information based on the form of the newspaper like article, opinion, and news; and (4) searching information based on the sort of the title, author name (article and opinion), date, and keyword.
