Abstract

The purpose of this research is to describe the structure and function of folklore Gadih Basanai in the Surantih society. Furthermore, the problem in this research is focusing to the structure and function of folklore Gadih Basanai in the Surantih society. This research is kind of qualitatife by using descriptive method. Then, the objects of folklore Gadih Basanai in the Surantih society. The data of the research is collected by using interview technique and observator. Base on the discover the results are: first, characterized, incident, channel, beckgraund, the point of view, thema, and moral value. Second, if found that the function of the story as a tool to educate children, it can be an entertainment or a tool to force obey public rule. Third, in the folklore Gadih Basanai there can be found many fuction of the story that many educate children, keep the promise, obey their parents.

Abstract

This article was written that has purpose to (1) describethe form of speech acts at the pasambahan maanta marapulai wedding feast inKenagarian Alahan Panjang Kabupaten Solok, and (2) Strategy tells the pasambahan maanta marapulai wedding feast onKenagarian Alahan Panjang Kabupaten Solok. The data of this research is a form of speech act and the strategy tells the pasambahan maanta marapulai wedding feast onKenagarian Alahan Panjang Kabupaten Solok. Sources of research data from recordings spoken by the speaker (juaro) inKenagarian Alahan Panjang Kabupaten Solok. The findings of this study as follows. First, there are four forms of speech acts are used inpasambahan maanta marapulai, namely (1) representative, (2) directive, (3) expressive, (4) declaration. Second, the strategy used in the recalledpasambahan maanta marapulai, namely (1) tells forthright without further ado, (2) tells forthright with niceties positive politeness, (3) tells forthright with negative politeness, and (4) vaguely recalled vague.

Abstract

This research is aimed to describe religious values in Salawat Dulang lyric including aqidah value, syariah, and akhlak in Kelurahan Koto Pulai Kecamatan Koto Tangah Padang.This research is qualitative research using descriptive method that emphasizes on content analyzing. This research uses writing the script technique or something that is written by selawat dulang player in the interview as the collecting data technique by using analyze data instrument. Every script is written on the interview and it is read again of the lyric, translate it into indonesian language and invent religious values: aqidah, syariah and akhlak. Then, analyze the data based on the classification that is found, make a summary, and report the research result.

Abstract

This article was write with the aim of describing the structure of written text Pamagadiri spell, the supporting aspects of Pamaga diri spells and the process of in heriting Pamagadiri spells in Nagari Panti Kecamatan Panti Kabupaten Pasaman. This research uses descriptive method, which is amethod used to describe the state of something objectively. Data were analyzed through the inventory phase, classification, discussion, inference and reporting stage. The results showed that the structur Pamaga diri spells consists of: the opening, the content and the concluding section. Aspects of support mantra are found: (1) the offender,(2)time, (3)events, (4) where, (5) clothes, (6) fixtures, (7) how to bringspell. Process in heritance mantra Pamaga diri consists of two parts: (1) how the acquisition, (2)how in heritance.

Abstract

The purpose of this article is to describe the process and result the improvement of vocabulary mastery at grade VII A of Junior High School 2 Sungai Penuh through Crossword Game Technique. The Increase vocabulary mastery of the students seen by the mastery of synonyms, antonyms, and the meaning of the term as the indicator. The findings of the study was the technique of crossword puzzles game can increase students vocabulary, it seen from the average of pre-cycle 53.92%, first cycle 69.50% and second cycle 75.25%. It can be concluded that the vocabulary mastery of the students increased significantly with an average increase from cycle I to cycle II 5, 75% with the students completed amount to 36 students (90%) of the total.

Abstract

The purposes of this study were to described the well-manner in of Javaness language in Java teenagers in directive and expressive speech act and to described the bad-manner in Javaness language in Javaness teevagers in Desa Mampun Baru Kecamatan Pamenang Barat Kabupaten Merangin Provinsi Jambi. The data of this study is speech event in Javaness teenagers. This study was the qualitative by descriptive method. The results of this study were the Javaness teenagers in Desa Mampun Baru Kecamatan Pamenang Barat Kabupaten Merangin Provinsi Jambi pretend to used the bad-manner in speech act. There are six kind of bad-manner speech act by Javanesse teenagers, (1) appeal by force so that was unsuitable in generosity maxim, (2) suggested in rough words so that was unsuitable in tact maxim, (3) demand by force so that was unsuitable in generosity maxim, (4) compliment and gracefull in unsincerely so that was unsuitable in modesty maxim, and (6) recalled with parents in ngoko language so that was unsuitable in generosity maxim.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to describtive from of interference morphology of Betawi malay language against Minangkabau languange. The aspect is (1) afiksasi, (2) reduplikasi, (3) komposisi, dan (4) akronimisasi. Methodology of research that used in this research is describtive method subject of this research is indigenous Padang city teenager total amount of Padang city teenager that made as repotrman of cardinal. According to this research result, it can comlude that ther are interference morphology Betawi malay language against Minangkabau language in Padang city teenager community. Interference morphology Betawi malay language against Minangkabau language in Padang city teenager community encompass interference to word a afiksasi and reduplikasi aspect.

Abstract

The purpose of research are the first, describe the structure, meaning, function and educational value expression believe Batu Hampar society, and the last implications for learning Indonesian. The data of this study was sixty-expression. The data source of this study is that oral sources delivered directly by the informant as the original speakers. Data collected using methods and techniques of recording and see my technique as advanced techniques. The findings of the study are two-part structure found fifty-seven expressions, the three parts are found three expressions, meanings found sixty-expression. Functions as an expression of people's expressions educate numbered eleven, twelve tga reminds found expression, found one telling phrase, mengibur found two expressions, and prohibits discovered thirty three expressions. Educational value as an expression of people's social value of education found nineteen expression, the value found three expressions of religious education, physical education values ​​found twelve expressions, and the value of family welfare education found twenty-seven expressions.

Abstract

This research is aimed to describe phatic category of Minangkabau language from its form and usage function in that kaba Si Gadih Ranti. This research uses qualitative research with descriptive method. Data of this research is collected with the collecting technique by reading and understanding the data. Analyzing data technique in this research is done by inventing the described data, classifying data and analyzing it based on the research aim and making the summary. Based on the analyzed data, it can be concluded the invention from the research. They are: first, from the phatic form in Kaba Si Gadih Ranti found that there are four forms: (1) phatic particle, lah, pun, koh: (2) phatic blending: iyolah, disiko, hanyo lai, iyo juo (3) phatic word :iyo, garan, nantun, bana, malah, iko, nangko: and (4) phatic phrase: birawari, adok kapado, lorong kapado. Second, from its function in Kaba Si Gadih Ranti found that there are five phatic function, (1) emphasize, (2) separate, (3) strengthen, (4) convince, and (5) start the new paragraph of the story.

Abstract

The aim of this research is to (1) describe the ability of students class X SMA N 1 Negeri Lubuk Basung in reading literature. (2) Explain the ability of students class X SMA N 1 Negeri Lubuk Basung in writing narrative text. (3) analize the relation between the ability of reading literature and the ability of writing narrative text of students class X SMA N 1 Negeri Lubuk Basung. The method that used in this research is correlation study method. Based on the research result, it can be concluded: first, reading literature ability of students class X SMA N 1 Negeri Lubuk Basung qualified in enough position (61, 48). Second, writing narrative text ability of students class X SMA N 1 Negeri Lubuk Basung qualified in almost enough position (49, 5). Third, there is a significant relation between the reading literature ability and writing narrative text ability of students class X SMA N 1 Negeri Lubuk Basung.
