Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengungkap dan mendeskripsikan kesantunan bertutur dalam melarang dan mengkritik berdasarkan etnis yang meliputi: 1) Mitra lebih tua atau lebih tinggi kedudukannya dan belum akrab; 2) Mitra tutur sama besar atau sama kedudukannya dan belum akrab; 3) Mitra tutur lebih muda atau lebih rendah kedudukannya dan belum akrab; 4) Mitra tutur orang yang disegani; 5) Mitra tutur lebih tua atau tinggi kedudukannya dan sudah akrab; 6) Mitra tutur sama besar atau sama kedudukannya dan sudah akrab; dan 7) Mitra tutur lebih muda atau lebih rendah dan sudah akrab. Jenis penelitian adalah kualitatif dengan metode deskriptif dan data penelitian diperoleh melalui penyebaran angket kepada 100 responden serta teknik analisisnya dilakukan dengan persentase. Dari tujuh konteks kesantunan berbahasa Indonesia dalam tindak tutur melarang didominasi oleh bertutur terus terang tanpa basa basi (TTB) sebanyak 5 strategi bertutur, terus terang dengan basa basi kesantunan positif (TBKP) sebanyak 2 strategi bertutur. Sedangkan pada tindak tutur mengkritik didominasi oleh terus terang dengan basa basi kesantunan positif (TBKP) sebanyak 4 strategi bertutur sedangkan bertutur terus terang tanpa basa basi (TTB) 2 strategi bertutur.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan tujuan untuk mendeskripsikan perbedaan sudut pandang antara media online nasional Indonesia yaitu Vivanew.com Detiknews.com, Kompas.com, Metrotvnes.com dan Sindonews.com dan mendeskripsikan kecenderungan sikap media online tersebut dalam mengonstruksikan kasus tercecernya KTP elektronik. Strategi eksklusi digunakan untuk melihat bagaimana aktor dikeluarkan atau disembunyikan dalam teks berita. Strategi eksklusi maupun inklusi ini melihat bagaimana bentuk pemakaian bahasa yang digunakan untuk menyampaikan pesan kepada khalayak. Data penelitian ini didapatkan dari pemberitaan kasus tercecernya KTP elektronik pada bulan Mei 2018 di media online Vivanews.com Detiknews.com, Kompas.com, Metrotvnews.com dan Sindonews.com dalam rentang waktu 27-29 Mei 2018. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif kualitatif dengan pendekatan analisis wacana kritis dari Theo Van Leeuwen untuk mendeskripsikan bagaimana peristiwa dan aktor digambarkan dalam pemberitaan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa bentuk teori eksklusi Leeuwen yang ditemukan dalam lima berita di media online ini bahwa Vivanews.com Detiknews.com, dan Sindonews.com  dalam berita tentang tercecernya ktp elektronik cenderung menggunakan strategi inkluisi sedangkan, Kompas.com, Metrotvnews.com lebih kearah eksklusi. Detiknews.com, Kompas.com, Metrotvnews.com memiliki kecenderungan membela kemendagri yang disalahkan dalam kasus ini dengan menyembunyikan pelakunya baik dalam menggunakan strategi inklusi maupun eksklusi. This research was conducted with the aim of describing the different perspectives between Indonesian national online media, Vivanew.com Detiknews.com, Kompas.com, Metrotvnes.com and Sindonews.com and describing the attitude tendency of online media in constructing cases of scattered electronic KTPs. Exclusion strategies are used to see how actors are issued or hidden in news texts. This exclusion and inclusion strategy looks at how the language is used to convey messages to the public. The data of this study were obtained from the reporting of cases of electronic KTP scattering in May 2018 in online media Vivanews.com Detiknews.com, Kompas.com, Metrotvnews.com and Sindonews.com in the period of 27-29 May 2018. This study used a qualitative descriptive method with the approach of critical discourse analysis from Theo Van Leeuwen to describe how events and actors are portrayed in the news. The results showed that Leeuwen's exclusion theory found in five news in this online media that Vivanews.com Detiknews.com, and Sindonews.com in the news about the scattering of electronic cards tended to use the inclusion strategy while, Kompas.com, Metrotvnews.com was more exclusion. Detiknews.com, Kompas.com, Metrotvnews.com have a tendency to defend the Ministry of Home Affairs who is blamed in this case by hiding the perpetrators both in using inclusion and exclusion strategies.

Abstract

ABSTRACT The purpose of this study is three. First, describing reading skills understanding the procedural text of class VII students at SMP Negeri 25 Padang. Second, describing the procedure for writing the text skills of Grade VII students in Padang Middle School 25 Third, describing the correlation of reading skills in the text comprehension procedure and the procedure for writing text skills for grade VII students of SMP Negeri 25 Padang. This type of research is quantitative with descriptive method. The design used is correlational design. The study population was grade VII students of SMP Negeri 25 Padang who were enrolled in the 2018/2019 school year, which was 241 students. The study sample was determined by proportional random sampling of 20% of the population, namely 45 students. The research data is in the form of a reading skill test score understanding of the procedure text and the score of the procedure for writing the text procedure. There are two instruments for this research, namely objective tests to measure reading skills, comprehension of text procedures and performance tests to measure the procedure for writing text skills. text comprehension procedures, and procedure writing skills in class VII students of SMP Negeri 25 Padang. at the real level (α) of 95% with n-1 freedom degrees in other words if the reading skills of students 'procedural text comprehension are good, then students' writing skills are also good. Conversely, if the reading skills of students 'procedural text comprehension are bad then the students' writing procedure text skills are also bad. Kata kunci : keterampilan membaca pemahaman, keterampilan menulis                    teks prosedur

Abstract

ABSTRACTThe purpose of this research was to describe things as follows. First, describes the skill level of writing the text explanatory grade VIII SMPN 20 Padang before using the the Discovery Learning model. Second, decsribes the skill level of writing the text explanatory grade VIII SMPN 20 Padang after using the Discovery Learning model. Third, analyzing the influence of use Discovery Learning model ti the skill level of the writing text explanatory grade VIII SMPN 20 Padang. This research used quantitative research which experimental method. This research draft is One Group Pretest and Posttest Design. Based on the reslt of the study, the following three things concluded. First, the explanatory text writing skills before using the Discovery Learning model of grade VIII SMPN 20 Padang are in qualification more than enough (LdC) with an average of 68,55. Second, the explanatory text writing skills after using the Discovery Learning model of eighth grade students of SMPN 20 Padang are in good qualifications (B) with an average of 79,00. Third, besed on t-test, the alternative hypothesis (H1) is aceepted at the 95% significant level and the degree of freedom (dk)= (n1+n2)-2 because tcount>ttable, which is 4,13>1,70.      Kata Kunci: Pengaruh, Model Discovery Learning, Keterampilan  Menulis, Teks Eksplanasi

Abstract

ABSTRACT This study aims to (1) describe the values of character education contained, (2) describe the values of character education that often appear in, (3) describe character education values which rarely appears, and (4) describes the values of character education that are not in the short stories of the Singgalang Daily newspaper. The method used in this research is descriptive method. Based on the results of the study, the values of character education studied in the short story of the Singgalang Daily newspaper were found. First, the short stories contained in the Singgalang Daily newspaper contain eighteen values of character education, namely the value of religious character education, honesty, tolerance, discipline, hard work, creative, democratic, independent, curiosity, national spirit, love for the country , appreciates achievement, is friendly/communicative, loves peace, likes to read, cares about the environment, cares for the social, and takes responsibility. Second, the value of character education that often arises is the value of friendly/ communicative character education. Abstract

ABSTRACT This study has three objectives as follows. First, it describes the level of vocabulary mastery of class X students of SMK Negeri 2 Padang. Second, describe the level of exposition text writing skills of class X students of SMK Negeri 2 Padang. Third, describe the correlation of vocabulary mastery with text writing skills of exposition students of class X SMK Negeri 2 Padang. This type of research is quantitative with descriptive methods. The design of this study is correlational. This study consisted of two variables, namely vocabulary mastery of class X vocational high school students 2 Padang and writing exposition text skills of class X students of vocational high school 2 Padang. The data of this study are the scores on the vocabulary mastery test results and the scores on the exposition text writing skills test results. Data is obtained through two types of tests, namely objective tests to measure vocabulary mastery and performance tests to measure exposition text writing skills. Based on the results of the analysis and discussion, three things are concluded as follows. First, the vocabulary mastery of grade X students of SMK Negeri 2 Padang is in a qualification More Than Enough (72.36). Second, the exposition writing skills of the X grade students of SMK Negeri 2 Padang are in Good qualification (78.68). Third, the mastery of vocabulary correlates with the writing skills of exposition text students of class X SMK Negeri 2 Padang. Abstract

ABSTRACT This is article of research is to description the effects of the using the model of problem based learning towards the skills of writing a text eksposition of the seventh grade students at SMP Negeri 31 Padang. The method used is this research is quasy experiment method. Based on the results of data analysis it was concluded the following three points. First, the skills of writing a text exposition of students of class VII SMP Negeri 31 Padang without using model of problem based learningis located on qualifications is enough (62,38). Second, the skills of writing a text exposition of students of class VII SMP Negeri 31 Padang using model of problem based learning is located on qualifications is good (78,25). Third, based on the result of test-t, there is effects of model of problem based learning towards the skills of writing a text exposition of students of class VII SMP Negeri 31 Padang because taritmatic> t table. Kata kunci : effects, model PBL, text eksposition

Abstract

ABSTRACT The aimed of this researchwas to describe the student’s correlation of comprehension skill on short story text with skil of writing the short story text at class XI SMA Negeri 1 Enam Lingkung. The subject of this research was the second grade students of class XI SMA Negeri 1 Enam Lingkung with sample of 34 people. The kind of this research is the quantitative with descriptive method. The data of this research are gotten by two kind of test. The test are multiple choice test in order to collect  the data of comprehension skill on short story text, the second is the student’s woerksheet test in order to collect the data of writing the short story text. Based on the results of data analysis can be concluded that; first, the student’s comprehension skill on comprehend the text are in good qualifying (85.06). Second, the student’s writing skill in writing the short story text class XI student of class XI SMA Negeri 1 Enam Lingkung are in good qualifying (77.33). Third, there is a significant correlation between student’s comprehension skill an writing skillin comprehending and witing short story text of the second grade students at class XI SMA Negeri 1 Enam Lingkung that is 0.784 it  can be proved by the t-count > t table (7.15> 1.70) in level 95%. Kata kunci: korelasi, memahami teks cerpen, menulis teks cerpen

Abstract

                                                     ABSTRACTThis research aim to know about usage of effective sentence at essay exposition of the eighth grade students of SMP Negeri 15 Kerinci. The type of this research is qualitative research with descriptive method. Based on the results of data analysis and discussion, it was concluded the following three points. Firstly, the ineffectiveness of a sentence in terms of the choice of words. Secondly, the ineffectiveness of a sentence in terms of structure. Third, ineffectiveness sentence in terms of punctuation there are three aspects, namely (1) the use of capital letters, (2) writing words in the form of the writing of prepositions in improper, writing preposition to is not precise, and the writing of the word is not right, and (3) use hyphens. Kata kunci: ketidakefektifan, kalimat, karangan eksposisi

Abstract

ABSTRACT The purpose of the study is to describe the effectiveness the text of the observation report of the students at SMA Negeri 3 Padang Panjang.This research is qualitative research with descriptive method.The result in this research shows that the effectiveness of the text of the observation report of students can be said good, 74% of 312 sentences.Based on the results of research, it was concluded six things: (1) the student is still having an error in standard word, (2) still found an error regarding the completeness of the elements, (3) still found a sentence that is not solid, (4) still found errors in the firmness of the sentence, (5) still found waste of words, (6) still found errors about parallelism. Kata kunci: Keefektifan kalimat,  laporan hasil observasi
