Abstract

Leprosy is an infectious disease that does not cause death directly and can be cured with thetreatment of Multi Drug Treatment (MDT), but the disease will cause lifelong disability for leprosypatients who are not treated properly and will become a public health problem. If the leprosydisease that has experienced disability then the effort that needs to be done is self-care for thedefects suffered do not become more severe and acceptable again in the community. PuskesmasKijang Island with the highest number of leprosy cases in Indragiri Hilir Regency and many peoplewith disabilities. For that we need to do research. This study aims to determine the relationship ofself care with the incidence of leprosy defects in Puskesmas Kijang Island Indragiri Hilir Regency. The research method is done by case control study. Population in this research is all leprosypatients recorded in leprosy registers of Puskesmas counted 47 people. Sampling was done in totalsampling. Data analysis was done by univariate analysis (tendency central) and bivariate analysis(chi square test) and collected data was processed by computerized method. The results of thisstudy found that 47 people with leprosy who did self-care as many as 28 people (59.6%) and whodid not care self as much as 19 people (40.4%). Of the 47 people who suffered from disability, thedisease continued as many as 18 people (38.3%) and who did not experience disability by 29people (61.7%). The result of bivariate test showed that there was a correlation between self-careand leprosy incidence (pvalue = 0.01) and the value of OR 6.3 means that leprosy patients who didnot take care of themselves were at risk for disability 6.3 times higher than those who did not care.It is advisable to prevent leprosy from getting worse alias the occurrence of disability to leprosypatients to understand early disease and take care of themselves regularly.

Abstract

The research has done on the effect of Cu2+, Zn2+, Cd2+ and Cr3+ ions on the absorption ofmetal Pb2+ by using kepok banana peel as biosorbent. The parameters are determined theeffect of concentrations of ions Cu2+, Zn2+, Cd2+ and Cr3+ which can affect the absorptionprocess of metal Pb2+. With variatious concentration of disrupting ions 40 ppm, 80 ppm,160 ppm, 240 ppm, 400 ppm. The result of research has showed the increasing theconcentration of ions Cu2+ and Zn2+ and reduce the absorption of metal Pb2+ with apercentage of reduction in each absorption of 3.126% and 7.274%. Addition of ions Cd2+and Cr3+ to the absorption of metal Pb2+ tends to disrupt at a concentration of 80 ppm, 160ppm and 240 ppm with a percentage of decrease in absorption of 0.344% and 1.594%. Thevariation of concentration in increasing of irritation ions decreases the absorptioncapacity of metal Pb2+ in the biosorbent of kepok banana peel, which is influenced by thelevel of ionic radius. Keywords – biosorption, metal Pb, Kepok Banana Peel

Abstract

Painful is an unpleasant sensory and emotional experience that has relationship with tissue damage actually or ppotentially. In overcome primary dysmenorrhea, many people do not think to do acupressure tehnique to degrade painful in primary dysmenorrhea, but they only use farmakologi medication. The aim of this research is to know the influence of acupressure tehnique to the painful level regradation of primary dysmenorrhea in class X MAN 2 Batusangkar in 2012. This research design was quasy experiment with one group pre-post test design approach. Population in this research is entire of schoolgirl in class X MAN 2 Batusangkar. This research used 10 Juny-26 July 2012. With the taking technique the sample used purposive sampling with 31 respondents. The data collecting used observation pieces with painful measurement scale. Then the data was proccesed with SPSS. To use analisys univariat and bivariat. The result of this research showed that from 31 respondents with primary dismenore, before acupressure tehnique experienced light painful ( 36%), medium painful ( 48%) and heavy painful (16%).After conducted acupressure tehnique which not pain ( 29%), experienced of light painful (32%),medium painful (32%) and heavy painful ( 6%). From the statistic test result, it was got significant 0.000 so Ho rejected. It can be concluded that there was significant difference between painful before and after acupressure technique was done. Based on this research can be concluded that acupressure technique was effective to degrade painful of primary dysmenorrhea. Researcher suggest to the schoolgirl of primary dysmenorrhea so that can conduct acupressure technique if experiencing of painful, and to the health officer can execute acupressure technique to minimization painful. The primary immunization complete if infants receive fifth types of immunization ( HB - 0, BCG, Polio vaccine, DPT / HB, measles vaccine) and the amount of the provision is complete. The completeness of primary immunization at district of Puskesmas Tarusan is 73.47 % with a target of 90% in 2015. The purpose of this study is to determine the factors that related with the completeness of primary immunization in infants at district Puskesmas Tarusan 2016. The type of research is descriptive analytic with Cross Sectional approach . This research is conducted in two Kenagarian at District Puskesmas Tarusan, Pesisir Selatan September 2015 until June 2016. The population in this study are all mothers who have children aged 1-3 years. The samples in this study as many as 80 people and samples are taken by random sampling propotionate . Data analyzed by univariate and bivariate with Chi - Square test. The results of univariate analysis showed that ( 63.8 % ) provision of basic immunization in infants is incomplete , 38 % of families are less supportive in providing complete primary immunization, 56 % less cadre role in the provision of complete primary immunization. The results of the bivariate analysis showed significant relationship between family support, and the role of cadres with a completeness primary immunization in infants at district of Puskesmas Tarusan. Abstract
