Abstract

Lembar Kerja Siswa (LKS) yang selama ini digunakan disekolah belum menuntun siswa untukaktif membangun pemahamannya sendiri. Untuk itu perlu dikembangkan LKS berbasisRealistics Mathematics Education (RME) yang memberikan kesempatan kepada siswa untukmembangun sendiri pengetahuannya serta dapat mengaplikasikan konsep yang telah dipelajaridalam pemecahan masalah. Tujuan yang hendak dicapai dari upaya pengembangan ini adalahmenghasilkan LKS yang efektif. Penelitian pengembangan ini menggunakan model McKennyyang terdiri dari tiga tahap yaitu preliminary, prototyping, dan assessment. Efektivitasdilakukan oleh pakar pendidikan matematika, teknologi pendidikan dan bahasa. Data yangdiperoleh dianalisis secara deskriptif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa LKS berbasispendekatan RME yang dikembangkan sudah efektif, dilihat dari prediksi efektivitas menurutpara ahli dan data empiris. Dalam hal ini, dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa yang lebihdari 70% mencapai KKM.Keywords: Lembar Kerja Siswa (LKS), Realistics Mathematics Education (RME), Efektivitas

Abstract

Mathematics is one of the lessons learned in school to develop the ability to count, measure, and solve problems in everyday life. Math grows due process of thinking, therefore, the logic is the basis for the formation of mathematics. Logic is the infancy of mathematics, mathematics is the opposite of logic adulthood. Given the importance of mathematics in life, we need a learning that is able to develop students' mathematical abilities. through the practice of acting on the premise logical, rational, critical, careful, honest, effective and efficient. And to prepare students to use mathematics and mindset of mathematics in everyday life, and in studying various sciences. Efforts should be made to overcome this problem is by applying active learning strategies that can help the learning process of students that is based on the creativity of the students active learning strategies Listening Team and the type of active learning strategies type Practice Rehearsal Pairs. Abstract

Dalam proses pembelajaran terlihat kurangnya aktivitas siswa dalamkelas, baik dalam hal mengamati, menanya, mencoba, serta menyajikan/mengkomunikasikan. Dalam hal ini suatu cara yang dapat ditempuh untuk menjadikan siswa lebih aktif, kreatif, dan mandiri serta sebagai pusat kegiatan belajar adalah dengan menerapkan pendekatan scientificdiiringi pemberian reward dalam pembelajaran matematika.Rancangan penelitian yang digunakan adalah Randomized Control Group Only Design. Sedangkan instrumen yang digunakan adalah lembar observasi ranah afektif dan ranah psikomotor. Disaat proses pembelajaran peneliti melakukan penerapan pendekatan scientific diiringi pemberian reward sekaligus mengamati siswa dan observer melakukan pengisian lembar observasi tersebut yang meliputi ranah afektif dan psikomotor. Setelah pendekatan diterapkan, peneliti memberikan tes akhir untuk melihat kemampuan siswa. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa: (1)Hasil belajar Matematika siswa kelas XI SMKN 2 Padang Panjang pada ranah afektif dan psikomotor selama pembelajaran dengan penerapan pendekatan scientific diiringi pemberian reward cenderung meningkat.(2) Hasil belajar Matematika siswa yang menerapkan pendekatan scientific diiringi pemberian reward lebih baik dari pada hasil belajar matematika siswa tanpa menerapkan pendekatan scientific diiringi pemberian reward di kelas XI SMKN 2 Padang Panjang. Abstract

Low student learning outcomes are caused by various factors, including the majority of students are less focused and less active during pembelajaan process, which makes difficult students to master the material so that students are lazy for homework given. One effort that can be done is to give teachers some Brain Gym movements (brain exercise) before the learning begins in order to focus more students during the learning process. The hypothesis put forward is the results of students 'mathematics learning that uses the Cooperative Learning Model Numbered Heads Together (NHT) Beginning with the Brain Gym (gymnastics of the brain) in Mathematics Learning is better than the results of students' mathematics learning without the use of Cooperative Learning Model Numbered Heads Together (NHT ) Beginning with brain Gym (gymnastics of the brain) in Mathematics Learning in class VIII SMP N 1 Batipuh.Penelitian done in class VIII SMP N 1 Batipuh. The results of study were taken in this study is the result of learning mathematics in the cognitive, affective and psychomotor. The instrument used was a test result of learning and observation sheet.Analysis of the final test result data by using t-test at 95% confidence level (α = 0.05) and 37 degrees of freedom is obtained t_hitung = 2,73> 1,68 = t _ ((0.95; 37)). which means H_0ditolak and H_1 received thus results of mathematics learning by applying Cooperative Learning Model Numbered Heads Together (NHT) Beginning with the Brain Gym (brain exercise) is better than the result of learning mathematics students who do not apply Cooperative Learning Model Numbered Heads Together ( NHT) Beginning with brain Gym (gymnastics of the brain) in Mathematics Learning in Class VIII SMP N 1 Batipuh. Keywords: Numbered HeadsTogether, Brain Gym

Abstract

The problem that occurs in schools is the teacher-centered learning process, so that the goals of mathematics learning have not been achieved. To improve the learning outcomes of mathematics learning models need to be able to foster motivation and a strong desire for students to want to learn mathematics, one of which is the cooperative learning model Pair Check Type Accompanied by Hand Out. The population in this study was grade IX students of SMP N 1 Padangpanjang in 2016/2017 school year. The sample in this study was class IX D, the number of students was 30 people as the experimental class and class IX F as the control class, the number of students was 30 people. The type of research is the Randomized Control Group Only Design. Data acquisition of student learning outcomes in the cognitive domain is done by conducting tests on students who apply the Cooperative Learning Model Pair Check Type Accompanied by Hand Out with students who do not Apply the Cooperative Learning Model Pair Check Type Accompanied Hand Out. Based on the results of data analysis, the value of tcount = 1.86 and ttable = 1.67. Because tcount> ttable which means the research hypothesis is accepted which states the learning outcomes of students using Pair Check Cooperative Learning Model accompanied by Hand Out is better than student mathematics learning outcomes without using Pair Check Cooperative Learning Model Accompanied by Hand Out.

Abstract

PENGEMBANGAN MODUL BERBASIS PENEMUAN TERBIMBING PADA MATERI FUNGSI PEMBANGKITAbstrakPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan modul berbasis penemuan terbimbing pada materi fungsi pembangkit yang akan digunakan selama perkuliahan mata kuliah matematika diskrit. Sampel penelitian sebanyak 15 mahasiswa pendidikan matematika FKIP UMSB. Penelitian pengembangan ini menggunakan model McKenny yang terdiri atas tiga tahap yaitu preliminary, prototyping, dan assessment. Kegiatan analisis kebutuhan dimulai dengan analisis kurikulum, analisis konsep, dan analisis kebutuhan mahasiswa. Validasi modul dilakukan oleh pakar pendidikan matematika, teknologi pendidikan, dan bahasa. Kepraktisan modul dilihat melalui pengamatan pelaksanaan pembelajaran, pengisian angket prediksi menurut para ahli, pengisian angket menurut mahasiswa, dan melakukan wawancara dengan mahasiswa. Keefektifan modul dilihat dari hasil observasi aktivitas dan hasil belajar mahasiswa. Data dianalisis secara deskriptif. Berdasarkan analisis kebutuhan mahasiswa, modul dibutuhkan untuk menemukan konsep materi secara mandiri. Hasil penelitianmenunjukkan bahwa modul berbasis penemuan terbimbing untuk materi fungsi pembangkit pada matakuliah matematika diskrit sudah memenuhi kriteria valid baik dari segi isi maupun konstruk, praktis dari segi keterlaksanaan, kemudahan, dan waktu yang diperlukan, serta efektivitasnya.Kata kunci: modul, fungsi pembangkit, penemuan terbimbingAbstractThis study was aimed at developing a guided discovery-based module on the generating function learning material used during lectures on discrete mathematics courses. The research sample was 15 students of Mathematics Education, Faculty of Education, West Sumatra Muhammadiyah University. This study used McKenny's model which consists of three stages, namely preliminary, prototyping, and assessment. The needs analysis activity started with curriculum analysis, concept analysis, and need analysis. Module validation was carried out by mathematics, education technology, and language education experts. The practicality of the module was seen through observing the implementation of learning, filling in the prediction questionnaire according to experts, filling out the questionnaire according to students, and conducting interviews with the students. The effectiveness of the module was seen from the results of the observation of the student activities and learning outcomes. The data obtained were analyzed descriptively. Based on an analysis of student needs, a module is needed during the lecture process that requires students to discover material concepts independently. The results show that Guided discovery-based modules for generating function in discrete mathematics courses have met valid criteria both in terms of content and construct, practical in terms of feasibility, ease and time required, and the effectiveness.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the results of cognitive, affective, and psychomotor learning of students with the application of Genius Learning Strategy with Idea Paper Operations. The type of research is experimental research. The research design that will be used is Randomized Control Group Design. Where for the experimental class is the class that feels with the Genius Learning strategy with Operan Kertas Ide Technique, while the control class is a powerless class with the Genius Learning strategy with Operan Kertas Ide Technique. The results of research on cognitive learning outcomes that implemented the Genius Learning strategy with Operan Kertas Ide is better than the result of learning mathematics students without implementing Genius Learning strategy with Operan Kertas Ide on the material set in class VII SMP Padangpanjang. The learning outcomes of students in the affective and psychomotor domains obtained through the observation sheet increased in each meeting during the learning process that implemented the strategy of Genius Learning with Idea Paper Operations in the class VII SMP Padangpanjang. So, it can be concluded that Genius Learning Strategy with Idea Paper Idea can improve students' cognitive, affective and psychomotor learning outcomes.

Abstract

Matematika termasuk salah satu mata pelajaran yang digeluti dari tingkat dasar, menengah hingga perguruan tinggi. Salah satu tuntutan dari pembelajaran matematika adalah kemampuan siswa dalam pemahaman relasional. Dengan dikuasainya kemampuan tersebut, siswa akan mendapatkan cara untuk bergerak dengan mudah dan terampil. Namun sesuai perkembangannya, kebanyakan siswa menghadapi kesulitan dalam menguasai konsep matematika, khususnya materi peluang. Oleh karena itu, peneliti tertarik melakukan penelitian untuk melihat kemampuan pemahaman relasional pada materi peluang. Salah satu upaya yang ditawarkan menggunakan pendekatan matematika realistik. One group pretest-posttest design menjadi pilihan metode penelitiannya. Populasinya adalah siswa kelas VIII MTsM Sulit Air semester II Tahun Ajaran 2020-2021. Sampelnya adalah siswa kelas VIII2 pada tahun pelajaran yang sama. Hasil dari penelitian ini didapatkan nilai N-Gain sebesar 0.57 dalam kategori efek sedang. Berdasarkan kategori tafsiran efektivitas adalah sebesar 56.81% dalam kriteria cukup efektif. Kesimpulannya adalah pembelajaran berorientasi matematika realistik efektif dalam membangun pemahaman relasional untuk materi peluang.

Abstract

The problem formulation in this study is 1). How is the teacher's activity in the application of a scramble type cooperative learning model on Mathematics learning in class XI SMK Cendana Padangpanjang 2017/2018 Academic Year? 2). How is the activity of students in the application of scramble type cooperative learning models in mathematics learning in class XI SMK Cendana Padangpanjang class year 2017/2018, 3). Are students' mathematics learning outcomes using a scramble type cooperative model on effective mathematics learning to improve mathematics learning outcomes in the cognitive domain? To test the validity of the hypothesis the pretest and posttest values were analyzed using the t-test. Obtained then rejected and be accepted . This has the effect of increasing the percentage of good completeness as much as 75% of the mathematics learning outcomes. From the results of data analysis it can be concluded that by applying the Scramble Type Cooperative learning model has a good effect on students' mathematics learning outcomes in class XI TKJ SMK Cendana Padangpanjang
