Abstract

Infrastructure development, especially roads are closely related to geotechnical activities. The difference of contours at construction site forces embankment and excavation work. Embankment is an interesting thing to study more deeply because embankments have characteristics such as slopes that have safety factor and must be handled specifically. Geotextiles as an alternative to handling embankment stability are populary used for embankment construction. Many types of geotextile need to calculate and analyze in determining the type of geotextile that are suitable to the characteristics of the subgrade and embankment construction. Embankment stability analysis in this study was calculated using PLAXIS version 8.2 software and Mohr-Coulomb method as basic for calculation. Base on the result of this studie, use of geotextiles, whether woven, non-woven or geogrid, can increase the safety factor and accelerate consolidation time. There will be secondary consolidation consequence of the plastic adjustment of soil grains and geotextiles. The ideal of stress percentage for geotextile to be suitable for use is 56.957% - 37.194%.

Abstract

Tanjung Gunung tourist area will be used as a Special Economic Zone (SEZ) for tourism. There are three main destinations, namely Tapak Antu Beach, Pan Semujur Beach, and Bukit Angsa Emas. The process of determining this tourism SEZ will have an impact on investment growth in Bangka Belitung. This condition is of course a driving force for investors to invest in developing tourist areas on Bangka Belitung Island. The need for tourist public transportation is important to support the smooth running of the program. With the existence of public transportation, tourist visits, both local and international, are expected to increase. This study aims to develop recommendations related to accessibility and the implementation of tourism transportation to the Tanjung Gunung tourist area. Research Methods while the analytical method uses descriptive qualitative and quantitative to determine access and transportation services to tourist destinations. From the results of the survey in the field, transportation to the area is dominated by private vehicles. Based on the analysis of transportation needs, it can be concluded that the operating time of tourist public transportation (Bus) will be carried out from 09.00 to 19.00 WITA with an average bus speed of 40 km/hour. The bus travel time is 28.5 minutes with a headway of 15 minutes. The tourism bus fleet needs are based on a calculation of 4 fleets with a capacity of 30 people.

Abstract

Tourism is a journey made from one place to another with the intention of doing sightseeing and recreation. The tourism area has a very important role to improve the economy for the local community. Many tourism activities depend on transportation. To support smooth access to tourist attractions, good facilities and infrastructure are needed. Good infrastructure in this case is needed to facilitate accessibility, reduce accident rates and avoid the risk of fatal accident victims. The study was conducted to analyze the level of road risk categories in the Dieng tourism route. The method used in collecting data in this study was to conduct a survey using the Hawkeye 2000 series and the Hawkeye Data Processing Toolkit software was used to analyze the data. From the results of the analysis, it was found that the tourism route section contained an aspect of the road geometric with a moderately dangerous risk category (CB), namely Roughness/IRI and for the aspect of harmonization of road equipment there was a very dangerous category (SB), namely lane width, road shoulder width. , and street lighting which on this route has technical deviations and high accident probability and impact. The road safety risk on the Kajen–Dieng tourism route is Moderately Dangerous (CB) with a risk level of 127.

Abstract

Fly ash waste accumulates from year to year at PLTU in South Sulawesi. The potential of fly ash as an environmentally friendly material to be used as a cement substitute is significant, either partially or entirely. This research aims to analyze the corelation between fly ash substitution as sand substitution and the compressive strength of high-strength concrete treated in seawater and freshwater. Researchers made samples of high-strength concrete with variations in the percentage of fly ash and variations in treatment. Variations in the percentage of fly ash as substitution of sand are 0%, 10%, 20%, and 30%, and variations in curing using fresh water and seawater. Sample treatment was carried out for up to 28 days, after which the compressive strength test according to the Indonesian National Standard (SNI) was carried out. The study results show that the relationship between fly ash substitution and a sand substitution on the compressive strength has a significant correlation. The higher the percentage of fly ash, the higher the compressive strength of the concrete, both fresh and seawater curing. Besides that, the compressive strength of high-strength concrete with freshwater curing treatment is greater than the seawater curing treatment.

Abstract

Public transportation is said to have good performance if the transportation is able to provide effective and efficient services, and is able to meet the demands of passengers as a means of transportation for the implementation of community activities. The research objectives are: 1) To determine the effectiveness of Marisa Terminal's performance in the new normal era, and 2) To determine the level of user satisfaction at Marisa Terminal in the new normal era. The research method used is the analysis of the operational performance assessment of public transport and the Likert Scale. From the results of the analysis, it was found that Marisa Terminal's performance has not been effective. This is due to the implementation of the new normal era. This affects the frequency, load factor, headway, and waiting time. The level of user satisfaction is very strong or very high. The criteria for user satisfaction level consist of physical quality, supporting physical quality, institutional quality, technical quality and interactive quality.

Abstract

The seismic structure based on SNI 1726-2012 has been renewed in SNI 1726-2019 in term of the newest seismic map. This sort of renewal plan is necessary to anticipate the ruin of structure at At-Tauhid building in Surabaya. The plan for reinforced concrete structure was carried out based on SNI 2847-2013. To analyze the quake against the building, the researcher employed structural modeling by SAP 2000 program and eventually yielded the comparisons of spectrum response and structural behavior.The research results demonstrated that the spectrum response of seismic design improved by Sa12.99% and T 7.78%. In terms of control behavior analysis using SNI 1726-2012 and SNI 1726-2019, the structure of building  has met the requirements of time period, mass participation, static and dynamic base shears, interstorey drift, and dual systems. Time period obtained the similar value as Ta SAP by 1.61 second. Meanwhile, the mass participation employing SNI 1726-2019 reached faster diverse number at the 30th mode. Static base shear increased 12.99%, whereas dynamic base shear inclined 32.95%. Interstorey drift improved 34.73% in X direction and 34.54% in Y direction. The dual systems based on SNI 1726-2012 got OMRF retaining the seismic force of design 50.83% in X direction and 43.75% in Y direction, whereas SNI 1726-2019 had OMRF resisting the seismic force of design 50.87% in X direction and 43.77% in Y direction.

Abstract

The development of Tarakan City, there is an increase in terms of growth, activity, and the number of population which is always closely related to the clean water, causing an increase in the need for clean water. The low level of clean water services for the North Tarakan area, which is 54,04%. This study aims to determine the projected need for clean water until 2030. Planning for the provision of clean water in the District of North Tarakan until 2030 with the help of the WaterCAD v8i program is in accordance with population growth and clean water needs. The results of the calculation of the average water demand in 2030 amounted to 51,8676 liters / second, the maximum daily requirement of 59,6477 liters / second, the total water demand obtained at peak hours in 2030 was 80,9135 liters / second. From the simulation results with the help of the WaterCAD V8i program that the piping network system can work well. This is based on the pressure at the junction 0,60-7,96 atm, Headloss Gradient 0-12,27 m / km, and the speed of 0,11-1,23 m / sec. These results are in accordance with planning requirements

Abstract

Daerah Irigasi Rawa (DIR) of Kakap Komplek has a potential land area of 10,725.43 Ha and a functional land area of 2,367.2 Ha. DIR Kakap Komplek is divided into 3 regions, namely Daerah Rawa (DR) Kapuas Kecil 1, DR Kapuas Kecil 2, and DR Kapuas Kecil 3. To make the DIR Kakap Komplek area a rice barn for Kubu Raya Regency, an irrigation system with sufficient water discharge is needed. and suitable irrigation water quality. Good irrigation water quality will increase plant growth and increase production yields. The problem that arises is how the suitability of the quality and status of water quality in DIR Kakap Komplek, Kubu Raya Regency based on Government Regulation of the Republic of Indonesia No. 22 of 2021. The purpose of this study was to determine whether the irrigation water quality of DIR Kakap Komplek Kakap District, Kubu Raya Regency was suitable for irrigation purposes. The research method used is descriptive method with a quantitative approach. The results of the water quality test showed that the values of TDS, TSS, NO3, Faecal Coliform and DHL were below the quality standard. Meanwhile, the values of pH, BOD, DO, COD, PO4, and MBAS are above the required quality standards. So it can be said that the quality of irrigation water in DIR Kakap Komplek still does not meet the overall quality standard parameters that have been set.

Abstract

The problem of soil erosion due to surface runoff entering the Paselloreng Reservoir. To study soil erosion, the HEC-HMS model was applied to simulate soil erosion and sediment yield. To estimate the sediment yield from the HEC-HMS model, a rainfall-runoff model is needed. Therefore, before simulating the erosion model, hydrological analysis was carried out and for the soil erodibility factor (K) of 0.212, the length and slope factor (LS) of 3.725, the vegetation cover factor (C) of 0.175 and the land conservation factor (P) of 1.00. From the calculation of the Universal Soil Loss Equation (USLE) method, the erosion rate is 79.25 tons/ha/yr and the sedimentation rate is 4.50 tons/ha/yr. The simulation results of the precipitation-runoff model obtained a peak discharge of 28.30 m3/s. To simulate the erosion and sediment model in HEC-HMS the Modified Universal Soil Loss Equation (MUSLE) equation was selected based on the land cover of the watertight study area. Manual calculation of the MUSLE method obtained a large erosion rate of 99.96 tons/ha/yr and a sedimentation rate of 5.59 tons/ha/yr, while with the HEC-HMS modeling, the total sediment load during 2021 was 89,688.10 tons with a rate value of 89,688.10 tons. erosion of 98.48 tons/ha/year and sedimentation rate of 5.59 tons/ha/year or 0.23 mm/year with the erosion hazard class is Class III (moderate).

Abstract

Kegagalan bendungan merupakan suatu bencana besar yang dapat menimbulkan kerugian besar dan dapat menimbulkan korban jiwa. Usaha dalam mengidentifikasi kemungkinan kegagalan bendungan dapat dilakukan dengan analisis risiko kegagalan bendungan. Pada penelitian ini, dilakukan analisis risiko untuk menentukan nilai probabilitas kegagalan tahunan pada Bendungan Pacal yang terletak di Kabupaten Bojonegoro. Analisis dilakukan dengan menginventarisasi seluruh mode kegagalan yang mungkin terjadi berdasarkan laporan inspeksi besar yang dilaksanakan di bendungan. Setiap potensi bahaya yang ada dilakukan perhitungan perkiraan risiko dengan menggunakan metode FMECA. Terhadap seluruh potensi bahaya yang memiliki nilai risiko dan kekritisan yang tinggi, dilakukan analisis risiko menggunakan metode pohon kejadian (event tree) sehingga diketahui proses kejadian yang mungkin terjadi. Hasil analisis yaitu probabilitas kumulatif dari beberapa potensi bahaya kegagalan Bendungan Pacal adalah sebesar:  1,29 x 10-5. Probabilitas kegagalan bendungan tertinggi yaitu pada potensi bahaya deformasi tubuh bendungan. Status risiko Bendungan Pacal berada dalam "batas yang ditoleransi untuk bendungan eksisting". Untuk mengurangi risiko bahaya kegagalan bendungan, direkomendasikan untuk dilakukan analisis deformasi lebih lanjut dan dilakukan penanganan pada keretakan pada plat beton untuk menghindari terjadinya perluasan keretakan.
