Abstract

Jalan Jawa merupakan salah satu jalan yang memiliki aktivitas sanggat tinggi di kota Jember. Meskipun memiliki lebar jalur yang cukup lebar, namun masih sering terjadi antrian kendaraan yang cukup panjang. Hal ini disebabkan fasilitas parkir yang tersedia di Jalan Jawa sebagian besar hanya ada di badan jalan (On Street Parking). Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk merencanakan lahan parkir pada Jalan Jawa Jember untuk mengurangi kendaraan yang terparkir pada badan jalan dan menganalisis kelayakan finansial lahan parkir tersebut. Hasil survey menunjukkan volume parkir kendaraan roda dua sebesar 1427 kendaraan dengan kebutuhan petak parkir sebesar 439 kendaran. Untuk roda empat volumenya sebesar 221 kendaraan dengan kebutuhan petak parkir sebesar 84 kendaraan. Lahan parkir direncanakan untuk kendaraan roda dua dengan kapasitas petak parkir sebesar 650 kendaraan. Berdasarkan hasil analisis finansial, didapatkan nilai nilai sebagai berikut, NPV sebesar 0,37% - 0,72%, IRR sebesar 0,71%, BCR sebesar 1,71, dan Payback Period pada bulan ke-8.

Abstract

Tourism as a support for the economy of a region requires special attention to attract tourists both from home and abroad. Nunukan Regency as an area directly adjacent to the State of Malaysia still lacks infrastructure. The need for supporting infrastructure adds to the attractiveness of a tourist area. So to know what are the needs of tourist areas need to be done research by identifying.The research method used is descriptive statistics with respondents from Stakeholders in Nunukan Regency, data obtained by the dissemination of questionnaires and interviews. This research object is a potential tourist area as well as tourist attractions in Nunukan Regency.The results that have been obtained from this study there are 3 variables including Access, accommodation, Facilities with a total of 17 indicators. Where there are 3 invalid indicators such as the existence of roads through land transportation, the existence of places of worship, passive recreational facilities (Seating, campfires). Identification obtained with a percentage value of 85% is available facilities to enjoy the beauty of nature, this is because the dominant tourism in Nunukan Regency is Natural Beauty.

Abstract

The main advantage of castellated beam is the increasing of bending capacity caused by the increasing of inertia moment of steel section due to the increasing of depth of the steel section. In addition, some people argue that the opening section of castellated beam become an additional advantage in terms of aesthetics view. In general, there are three opening variations that are very often used in construction, which are hexagonal opening, circular opening, and diamond opening. Many researches have been done to compare the performance of castellated beam with various opening but only focusing on the behavior of castellated beam subjected to monotonic loading. Therefore, in this research, a review of the behavior of castellated beam with various opening subjected to quasi-static cyclic loading was carried out in order to find out which is better performance from the opening variations. A finite element analysis was conducted to find out the behavior of castellated beam with three variations of opening. A simple beam subjected to quasi-static loading using displacement control technique was considered in this research. The result shows that the castellated beam with diamond opening has a better performance compared to the other openings (hexagonal opening and circular opening).

Abstract

This research contains an analysis of the traffic performance by dint of on-street parking, afterward the results are compared with the traffic performance if a scenario is made that there is no on-street parking activity. The purposes of this research are to determine the impact of on-street parking to road performance also to perceive the road level of service. The method used in this research is a quantitive method by direct field research. The results of this research are on-street parking activity around Jaya Ciracas Market affected the traffic performance with a difference in road capacity about 39,03%. The value of the road level of service when there is on-street parking activity is D, while when on-street parking is abolished, the road level of service can increase to C.

Abstract

Today, Practitioners of Civil Engineering in Indonesia are still using SNI 2847:2013 as code for reinforcement concrete design. As we know that SNI 2847:2019 been published, but practitioners still not yet use it.The point of design and evaluation in SNI 2847 code is reduction factor (ɸ) that could influence strength design of structure base on it behaviour. Load in Column is not just axial load, but flexural and combine of axial and flexural. This behavior makes the column has variate reduction factor and it can shown by interaction diagram. This research is compare between SNI 2847:2013 and SNI 2847:2019 for column with section 400x500, fc’ 20 MPa and reinforcement ratio 1%. Result of this research is compare between SNI 2847:2013 and SNI 2847:2019 for column with variation fy is not too significant. So when the column of SNI 2847:2013 inspected or evaluated by SNI 2847:2019 is not distinction.

Abstract

Coffee Class on Mase Coffee Lab is a business which provides knowledges about coffee industry. The business was founded with basis that there is a growth in interest of coffee and only few similar businesses already exist. With that uniqueness, a research of feasibility study is needed. The aim is to determine the feasibility of the investment that is already ongoing. The data is obtained from either owner and literature study. Then using the data, feasibility study is conducted by analyzing non-financial aspect, financial aspect, continued with further evaluation by doing sensitivity analysis. Non-financial aspect consists of market aspect, technical aspect, management and law aspect also social, economic and environmental aspect. Financial aspect consists of evaluation of Net Present Value (NPV), Payment Back Period (PBP), Benefit to Cost Ratio (BCR) and Internal Rate of Return (IRR). The result obtained are, consecutively, IDR 49,046,768.59, 2 years, 1,21, and 57,84%. Then sensitivity analysis is done for participant numbers, and operational cost. From analysis, it can be concluded that the investment on the business is feasible and it is sensitive to the number of participants.

Abstract

Kelud Volcano is one of the active volcanoes and located in East Java. After the eruption, Kelud Volcano left a number of volcanic materials from the rock, sand and the ash on residential land, plantations and the surrounding area. The main problem is the eruption of Kelud Volcanoes has the potential to experience an increase in the frequency of eruptions and there has been no development of a regional reconstruction model for secondary impacts due to eruptions in the field of water resources infrastructure. Based on these problems, a test of the Sabo and modular hydraulic physical models will be planned. This study discusses the identification of the location and volume of sediments that have the potential to become Kali Putih lava flows from Kelud Volcanoes. The Takahashi analysis method is used to analyze the estimated excess volume of the target sediment which must be controlled by sabo technology. Identification of sediment transport zones is obtained from the classification of slope on existing buildings obtained from satellite imagery. The results of the analysis are as follows: 1.) Sediment transport areas in the Putih Watershed have an area of 863 km2. 2.) The total volume of Kali Putih sediment that has the potential to become cold lava after the eruption is 4,139,414.23 m3. 3.) Sabo and modular hydraulic physical model testing is required. 4) A model of regional reconstruction is needed for secondary impacts due to eruptions in the water resources field. 5) New sabo plan planning is needed

Abstract

The research aimed to determine the characteristics of the 16.9 MPa, using steel fibers (bendrat wire) with lenght variations in the concrete mixture 1% by volume-weight of the concrete. This research is an explanatory research with research questions are: how significant is the difference, and what are the characteristics. The total population of each treatment is 12 specimens with a sample of 5 specimens for compressive strength and 4 specimens for split tensile strength for each given treatment which is a random sample, specifically: A (reference concrete); B, C, D, and E for concrete with length variation an expressed as L/D fiber ratio of 50; 62.5; 75 and 87.5. The concrete material meets the standard. At the level of significance 0,05 indicates that the test data are normal distribution and uniform and the characteristics of concrete between reference concrete and concrete fiber different variance values. The unit weight between the reference concrete and the fiber concrete is slightly identical. The slump value decreases with increasing L/D fiber ratio. The concrete characteristics increase up to an L/D fiber ratio of 75. It generates a compressive strength of 19.47% of the design and 16.60% of the reference concrete (17,316 MPa). The split tensile strength is 2,753 MPa (22.29% higher than the design 2,251 MPa) and 18.83% of the reference concrete (2,317 MPa). The flexural strength was 3.638 MPa (18.01% of the 3.083 MPa design) and 1.97% of the reference concrete (3.144 MPa).

Abstract

This study aims to determine the difference in structural beam design using SNI 2847-2002, SNI 2847-2013 and SNI 2847-2019 by comparing the bending and shear reinforcement in the case study of the Faculty of Health Sciences Building, University of Borneo Tarakan. The results of the comparisons include: the maximum reinforcement ratio at SNI 2847-2013 and 2019 is around 16,667% smaller than SNI 2847-2002, the flexural capacity of the beam design results from SNI 2847-2013 and 2019 increases by about 12.5% compared to SNI 2847-2002, The shear capacity of concrete (Vc) designed with SNI 2847-2013 and 2019 increased by about 2% compared to SNI 2847-2002, as well as the design shear capacity of the accumulated concrete and shear reinforcement designed by SNI 2847-2013 and 2019 increased no more than 1% compared to SNI 2847-2002.

Abstract

Landslides often cause heavy casualties and material losses in Tanggamus Regency. These incidentscontinue to be repeated so that it still requires a landslides risk reduction. Landslides risk mitigation begins with a field survey and soil investigation, followed by analyzing the investigation results and planning the potential mass movements. The results from the geological survey show that the study area has a lithology of constituents in the form of andesite and landslide material in the form of volcanic breaks with a high level of weathering so as to form a thick layer of soil. The basic landslide handling design plan in Pekon Waykerap is to perform the geometry arrangement of the slopes so itprovides a strengthened structure with gabion slopes. The slope design results give the slope height limited to 5 meters, a 1H:1V slope gradient, and 2.5 meter bench. The slope surface is suggested to be covered with a patch of grass and equipped with surface drainage. The slope stability analysis results for Pekon Waykerap landslides using the limit equilibrium method shows that using the combination of control and retrofitting method and increases the static safety factor from 1.092 to 1.298 and the dynamic safety factor from 0.846 to 1.031, which means the groundmass movement risk decreases.
