Abstract

Financial information will have benefits if delivered on time to the wearer who is closely related to the agency theory (agency theory) where in the theory of this agency explained that the owner oversees the agency (employee) to perform more efficient performance. The value of timeliness of financial reporting is important for the level of benefit of the report. This study aims to test the profitability, age of the company and the size of the company to the timeliness of corporate financial reporting. The sample of this study consists of 13 food and beverage companies with 65 financial report data listed on the Stock Exchange 2012-2016. To test the hypothesis, used secondary data with purposive sampling method. Data analysis techniques used logistic regression analysis. After the data in the analysis, found that the profitability variable has a significance value of 0.045 means that the hypothesis X1 positive effect on timeliness of corporate financial reporting due to the significance value less than 0.05. Variable of company age have significance value equal to 0,066 and company size have significance value equal to 0,412 meaning hypothesis X2 and X3 have no effect to variable Y because significance value greater than 0,05.

Abstract

This research aimed to examine the effect of the convergence of International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) on tax avoidance on companies listed in Indonesia Stock Exchange. Tax avoidance that used in this research was Cash Efective Tax Rate (CETR). This research is also use the control variable to get other different influence that different such as CSR, size, and earning management (EM. This research used populations sector of transport service companies that listed in Indonesia Stock Exchange. The data of this research taken from secondary data that was from the Indonesia Stock Exchange in the form of Indonesian Capital Market Directory (ICMD) and the annual report of the company 2011-2015. The method of collecting sample was purposive sampling technique, the population that to be sampling in this research was populations that has the criteria of a particular sample. Companies that has the criteria of the research sample as many as 78 companies. The method of analysis used in this research is multiple regression analysis. Based on regression testing shows that the convergence of International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) has a positive and significant impact on tax evasion. This shows that IFRS convergence actually improves tax evasion practices. The control variables of firm size and earnings management also significantly influence the application of IFRS in improving tax avoidance practices, while CSR control variables have no role in convergence IFRS in improving tax evasion practice.

Abstract

This study aimed to determine the influence of work value and work congruence on organizational citizenship behavior (OCB) and job satisfaction. The study was conducted on non medical staff, nurses and general practitioners of Yogyakarta Islamic Hospital PDHI. This study uses the population as a sample. Cluster sampling method sampling technique. The number of respondents in this study was 119 people consisting of 72 percent of men and 28 percent of women. The data analysis used multiple linear regression analysis with IBM SPSS Statistics 22 as an analytical tool. The result of the research there is significant effect of work value to job satisfaction partially. There was no significant effect on the wark congruence to job satisfaction partially. There was a significant effect on the value of work, work congruence to job satisfaction simultaneously. There was no significant effect of work value to OCB partially. There was a significant effect on the work congruence to OCB partially. There was significant influence of work value, work congruence to OCB simultaneously. There was a significant negative effect of job satisfaction on OCB partially.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of Regional Taxes, Regional Retribution, General Allocation Funds, Special Allocation Funds on the allocation of Capital Expenditures in DI Yogyakarta Region consisting of five Regencies / Cities for the period of 2012-2016. This study is analyzing the variable X against variable Y. Design The study was compiled based on APBD data in the Realization of DI Yogyakarta Regional Revenues and Expenditures in 2012-2016 taken from BPS DI Yogyakarta with a sample data on Regional Taxes, Regional Retribution, General Allocation Funds, Special Allocation Funds, and Capital Expenditures. The variables used are Local Tax (X1), Regional Retribution (X2), General Allocation Fund (X3), Special Allocation Fund (X4), and Capital Expenditure (Y). The analysis for testing in this study used SPSS.20, the techniques used were Multiple Regression Analysis, T Test, F Test, and Determination Coefficient Test. The results of this study indicate that partially Regional Levies and Special Allocation Funds do not have a significant effect on Capital Expenditures, while Regional Taxes and Special Allocation Funds have an influence on Capital Expenditures, simultaneously Regional Taxes, Regional Retribution, General Allocation Funds, and Allocation Funds Specifically has a significant influence on Capital Expenditures. The magnitude of the influence of Regional Taxes, Regional Retibusi, General Allocation Funds, and Special Allocation Funds on Capital Expenditures is 77.8 percent while the remaining 22.2 percent is explained by other factors.

Abstract

The purpose of this study to determine the effect of service quality on customer satisfaction simultaneously. The type of research used in this study is quantitative research. This research uses primary data and secondary data. While the sample technique used is a non-probability sample that uses a total sample of 100 respondents. Based on the results of this study, the quality of service consisting of reliability (reliability) X1, tangible X2, X3 responses, assurance and certainty (assurance) X4, and empathy (empathy) X5 affect customer satisfaction (Y) simultaneously or simultaneously.

Abstract

The research aims to deeply investigate auditee’s perception on the implementation of internal audit function to the Internal Supervisory Unit as the Internal Auditor at Sebelas Maret University viewed from its independence, competence, performance of audit, and added-value. The respondents of the research were auditees which were directly related to finance and asset management in UNS and were directly related to the Internal Supervisory Unit in internal audit activity. The research is intended to give suggestions to the management about the evaluation of the internal audit activity through auditee’s perception which can help management to come to the decision to increase the quality of the Internal Supervisory Unit as the Internal Auditor of Sebelas Maret University.The result of the research shows that the auditee has good perception to the Internal Supervisory Unit function as the Internal Auditor of Sebelas Maret University, viewed from its independence, competence, performance of audit, and added-value. Although it has some shortages in terms of audit planning process, coverage of audit, and intensity of accompaniment to the auditee.

Abstract

The Emotional intelligence, spiritual intelligence and job satisfaction to be part of the factors that influence performance. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of emotional intelligence and spiritual intelligence on the performance through job satisfaction as an intervening variable partially and simultaneously. This study also aimed to determine the effect of emotional intelligence and spiritual intelligence on the performance through job satisfaction as an intervening variable directly and indirectly. This study was conducted to 77 respondents employees of PT. Madu Baru, Yogyakarta. The research method used is quantitative method uses statistical analysis and descriptive. The results of this study are (1) there is a significant effect of emotional intelligence on employee job satisfaction. (2) there is a significant influence of spiritual intelligence on employee job satisfaction. (3) There is a significant relationship between emotional intelligence and spiritual intelligence on job satisfaction. (4) There is a significant relationship between emotional intelligence on employee performance. (5) There is a significant relationship between spiritual intelligence on employee performance. (6) There is a significant relationship between emotional intelligence and spiritual intelligence on employee performance. (7) There is a significant relationship between job satisfaction on employee performance. (8) There is an indirect effect of emotional intelligence on the performance of employees through job satisfaction. (9) There is the indirect influence of spiritual intelligence on the performance of employees through job satisfaction.

Abstract

The capital market has been progressing very rapidly. The annual financial statements of companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange have become one of the investor analysis tools to take a business action. The decision of the investor will affect the value of the company reflected through the stock market price of the company. Financial ratios are still trusted by investors as the basis for analysis in decision making. Methods of Economic Value Added, and Market Value Added emerged as an alternative complement information for investors to analyze and make decisions.This study aims to examine the influence of financial ratios, Economic Value Added, and Market Value Added on stock prices. The sample to be observed are companies that are included in the index PEFINDO 25. The growing of beginner investors and Small and Medium Enterprises that entered the Indonesia Stock Exchange became the basis of interest researchers to conduct this research. Hypothesis testing was performed by using crosssectional regression for each year observation from 2010-2015 and all pooled regression years. This study uses observational company data selected by purposive sampling year 2010-2015 from all companies listed in Indonesia Stock Exchange included in index PEFINDO 25. The results shows that variables of DER, PER, EVA, and MVA affects in the companies.

Abstract

Zakat is a worship that has two dimensions of the vertical and horizontal, which is worship as a form of obedience to God (vertical) and as a duty to fellow human (horizontal). One of the large potential of zakat is zakat income. But so far zakat income has not been well managed including aspects of collection. This study was conducted to determine the effect of the application of the principles of good corporate governance and organizational culture on the motivation to pay zakat income in Yogyakarta Special Region. The result of t test on the variable of good corporate governance has an effect on the motivation of zakat payment of income, it is shown with tcount 3,063 with significance value 0,003. While the organizational culture variable is 2,800 with significance value 0,006. This test shows that the significance value less than0.025. F test results on the concurrent effects of good corporate governance and organizational culture shows F count is 6.673 with a significance value of 0.002. This test shows that the significance value less than0.05. This test shows that there is a positive influence of Good Corporate Governance and organizational culture on the Motivation of Zakat Payment. R square value of 0.126 shows that about 12.6 percent of zakat payment motivation is directly influenced by good corporate governance and organizational culture.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of information asymmetry on earnings management moderated by Good Corporate Governance (GCG). The population in this study are all property and real estate companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange during the period 2012 to 2016. Samples are determined based on Purposive sampling to obtain 6 sample companies. The nature of quantitative data and data type data used is secondary data. Methods of data analysis in research used is linear regression and Moderated Regression Analysis (MRA). Test results showed that information asymmetry has a significant positive effect on earnings management with a significance level of 0.006less than0.05. Good Corporate Governance (GCG) is proxied by factor score able to weaken the relationship between information asymmetry to earnings management with significance level 0,041less than 0,05, so Good Corporate Governance (GCG) is quasi moderate variable.
