Abstract

The research conducted in this article is to apply a method of media-based demonstration of funny pictorial stories in learning to write anecdotal text on students. The purpose of this research is to see the influence of media-based demonstration method of the funny story illustrated in the students. The reason for the implementation of the research because when students write anecdotal text they do not have the experience of a sarcastic story, so they do not find idea or idea. The quasi-experimental research method was chosen because it aims to test the effectiveness of demonstration methods and illustrated storytelling media on students' writing skills in anecdotal text writing lessons. The findings of an increase in writing an anecdotal text of students who initially pre-test value of 69.52 at the time of postest increased to 78.32. Mean value, Kolmogorov-Smirnov data normality test which states that the test score is normally distributed because the significance value (sig) is greater than 0.05 then H1 is accepted.

Abstract

This research is based on research on curiosity towards the use of think writing method in biographical text learning in class X. The formulation of the method can be used to talk about it. in learning biographical texts? Method for learning on biographical texts on class X students from SMK Negeri 1 Cimahi. The method used is the experimental method. This study uses the design of one group pretest-posttest. The research data is quantitative data that is analyzed through statistical analysis techniques. Class X TEI-B with a total of 27 students being used as research samples. The results of the initial test and the final test were compared with the average initial test 38 and the average final test 75. So, it can be concluded that the Think Talk Write method is effectively used in learning to write biographical texts.

Abstract

This research was motivated by the difficulties experienced by students in writing, including writing anecdotal texts. Students still find it difficult to develop ideas and ideas to create humor in the text. The problem in this study is how to use the STAD method for learning to write an anecdotal text? Is there a difference in the ability to write anecdotal text before and after using the STAD method? This study was held to determine the use of the STAD method in learning to write anecdotal texts. Knowing the results of student writing for learning to write anecdotal texts that apply the STAD method. The use of research design is one group pretest-posttest. The sample that the author examined was class X with a total of 25 students. Data collection techniques used in this study were in the form of tests either at the beginning (pretest) or at the end (posttest). According to the data presented, the average results obtained before using the learning method amounted to 43.96 and after using the method, the final average score (posttest) was obtained at 67.44. The result of anecdotal text writing ability increased to 23.48 points. Based on the results of the normality test of 0.200> 0.05 stated normal distribution, the results of the homogeneity test of 0.48> 0.05 have a homogeneous variance, and the results of the t-test sig (2-tailed) of 0,000 <0,05 stated that the hypothesis is accepted.

Abstract

The study aims to find out about the development of language in morphological and syntactic aspects. Research subjects were children aged 2 years 8 months who were in the research environment. The research method is descriptive because the study contains the description in the language pronunciation stages in children. The data collection techniques using recording and recording words spoken child. General conclusions on language acquired children aged 2 to 4 years can be developed with morphological and syntactic stages. Researchers found the process of obtaining the discussion among others is the first at the age of 2 to 4 years of morphology, the emergence of a more free form of free form. Both acquisition of syntax, the child is able to say a few words that can be a word. Third at the age of 2 to 4 years of morphological acquisition and the syntax of the child begins perfectly in the vowel sound and also accompanied by the sound of consonants.

Abstract

Language and Art literature when combined with other arts such as musical instruments, will make a work of art that has a high aesthetic value. Although the work has become mixed art because of the form of poetry sung or song lyrics. By using the media in the form of art, it is expected that the learning objectives can be treated well. Researchers use the object of research in the form of song lyrics. The purpose of this research is to know the language or the selection of words used on the lyrics of the band's shaky receptive band. The reason for taking the title, because the language aspect is one of the most important elements used by poets in literary arts as in the literary works of poetry. This research is a qualitative descriptive study. Assessment of the objects of this study using analytical techniques with data collection techniques, using literature research techniques. The data analysis technique begins by reading all the lyrics of the song to be analyzed, then finding the choice of word or diction choice contained in the lyrics of the song. Next understand the meaning of the song lyrics, then last make a conclusion. The researchers got the result that there are some diction used in the lyrics of the song shrill umbrella shade, including: In the rain and dark night, But I can not see your eyes, Among the deciduous leaves, Wobbles of the wind, waiting for the body.

Abstract

This study is the result of analysis to see the influence of reading and writing about the religious attitude of the students. Subject of the study is a student of IKIP Siliwangi. The data used for the analysis is a questionnaire with guttman scale. Data are analyzed based on instruments that focus on the success and influence of literacy activities of the Quran. The method used is the developmental experimental method with the analysis of quantitative-qualitative approach. From the guttman scale analysis, the point of influence is in the 50% -100% range ie the BTQ program 84.8% and its impact on religious attitudes 89.6%. So that can be said The Influence of Reading Program Al-Quran on Religious Attitude Student IKIP Siliwangi Approaching successfully

Abstract

Writing is one aspect of language skills used by humans to communicate or convey messages indirectly, The purpose of this study is to know: the activities of teachers and students on learning to write a description using CTL (contextual teaching and learning); significant difference between before and after learning write description using CTL method; and student responses to learning to write a description using CTL method. The research method used is experimental method. The sample of research is the fourth grade students of SDN Cengkong 1. The result of this research shows that this can be proven from the value of t arithmetic count (32.2) t table (1.67) with 95% confidence level (0,05). Thus it is true that there is a significant difference, between the students' ability to write the description of the treated method other than the CTL method with the writing ability of the students treated with the CTL method). The results of teacher activity observation can be done 85% and 80% student activity is done. Based on the results of the questionnaire calculation given to the students, showed a positive response that is equal to 76%, meaning that students feel happy and welcomed about the application of CTL approach in learning to write a description. Based on the research data there are differences between  initial and final test results with an average initial test score of 44.13 and a final test of 73.4. Based on hypothesis test results obtained sig value: 0.000 then smaller than 0.05, so there is a significant influence from the use of CTL approach to the ability to write a descriptionKeywords: write description, CTL (Contextual Teaching Learning) AbstrakMenulis merupakan salah satu aspek keterampilan berbahasa yang dipergunakan manusia untuk berkomunikasi atau menyampaikan pesan secara tidak langsung, Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui: aktivitas guru dan siswa pada pembelajaran menulis deskripsi dengan menggunakan metode CTL (contextual teaching and learning) ; perbedaan yang signifikan antara sebelum dan sesudah pembelajaran menulis deskripsi yang menggunakan metode CTL; dan respon siswa terhadap pembelajaran menulis deskripsi dengan menggunakan metode CTL. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode eksperimen. Sampel penelitian yaitu siswa kelas IV SDN Cengkong 1. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa  ini dapat dibuktikan dari nilai t hitung hitung (32,2) t tabel (1,67) dengan taraf kepercayaan 95% (0,05). Dengan demikian benar bahwa terdapat perbedaan yang signifikan, antara kemampuan siswa dalam menulis deskripsi yang diberi perlakuan metode selain metode CTL  dengan kemampuan menulis siswa yang diberi perlakuan metode CTL). Adapun hasil pengamatan aktivitas guru dapat terlaksana 85% dan aktivitas siswa 80% terlaksana. Berdasarkan hasil perhitungan lembar angket yang diberikan kepada siswa, menunjukkan respon yang positif yaitu sebesar 76%, artinya bahwa siswa merasa senang dan menyambut dengan baik tentang penerapan pendekatan CTL dalam pembelajaran menulis deskripsi. Berdasarkan data penelitian adanya perbedaan hasil tes awal dan akhir dengan rata-rata nilai tes awal 44,13 dan tes akhir 73,4. Berdasarkan hasil pengujian hipotesis diperoleh nilai sig: 0,000 maka lebih kecil dari 0,05, sehingga terdapat pengaruh yang signifikan dari penggunaan pendekatan CTL terhadap kemampuan menulis deskripsi.  Kata kunci : menulis deskripsi, CTL (Contextual Teaching Learning)

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to (1) analyze the background in the short story "I Primadona", and (2) describe the court as the atmosphere in the short story "Aku Primadona". Technically, the analysis is qualitative descriptive, with the following research steps: (1) reading the short story "Aku Primadona", (2) analyzing the background of the short story, and (3) describing the court as the atmosphere in the short story "Aku Primadona". The results of the analysis show that Yatti Sadeli created the setting as the atmosphere of my character, the Primadonna, who experienced the ups and downs of feelings in his life. The condition is not far from the human tidal life atmosphere.
