Abstract

The effectiveness of the leader is not easy to achieve by a leader. The leader must build awareness to equip himself and his members for the achievement of objectives. Intrapersonal beliefs in their capabilities to function as leaders are called leader role-efficacy (LRE), their ability to navigate and manage interpersonal relationships with their members is called leader trust in subordinate (LTS), both of which are key elements of leader effectiveness. This study aims to find out whether intentional change model (ICM) training can improve the leader effectiveness of PPGT administrators in the Pajalesang Palopo congregation. The subject of the research was the management of PPGT organization with fifteen people as one group pre and post-test design. The pre-test questionnaire was given a week before treatment and the post-test questionnaire was given two weeks after treatment. Measuring instruments used by researchers are the Leader effectiveness scale from Ladegard and Gjerde (2014) and Psychological Capital Questionnaire (PCQ) from Luthans, Youssef, and Avolio (2015). From the measurements using the t sample t-test analysis technique, it was found that there were significant differences in the values before and after being treated with Intentional change model training with a significance value of p = 0,000 (p?0.05). Abstract

Co-sleeping is an effective short-term solution for children with sleep onset difficulties. Co-sleeping, however, often correlates with a higher likelihood of night waking, shorter sleep duration, higher resistance to sleep, and lower sleep quality. Behaviour modification is the most effective intervention for co-sleeping. This study aims to apply the most commonly used behaviour modification techniques for co-sleeping, namely positive routine, and extinction. Parental education, feedback, and reinforcement were also carried in this program. The participant was a 5-year-old with co-sleeping problems. Results of the study indicate that these techniques are effective in reducing co-sleeping in early childhood. The child was successful in sleeping on her own and showed a reduction in sleep onset and night waking duration. Some factors support the implementation of the interventions: positive routines that well developed since infancy, the child that used regular physical activities, parenting style, and the child’s mastery of relaxation techniques. Keywords: behaviour modification, co-sleeping, graduated extinction, positive routine, sleep training

Abstract

COVID-19 has an impact on society, one of which is panic buying. This study aims to get a comprehensive picture of panic buying behavior and factors that influence it in Indonesia,. The method in this research is a mixed-method which begins by distributing the survey to 418 respondents. The results obtained from the survey were then deepened using qualitative methods through interviews with six subjects. The results showed that panic buying occurred for several items that could potentially be urgently needed during a pandemic. This is in the background by the anxiety that accompanies society. However, for other items, purchases are still made in controlled conditions and as needed. The campaign not to carry out panic buying has not been fully effective. The biggest hope of the majority of the community is not in providing supplies of the goods needed, but rather for the government to increase speed in dealing with the spread of COVID-19.
