Jurnal Sendratasik diterbitkan 4 (empat) kali pada bulan S Maret, Juni, September, dan December denganmemuat artikel / artikel penelitian di bidang musik, tari, dan drama serta pembelajarannya. Memuat teks yang dihasilkan oleh kelompok penyunting, naskah yang digunakan adalah naskah yang lolos dan tidak pernah / tidak akan pindah ke jurnal lain. Jurnal Sendratasik menerima naskah yang memberikan wawasan tentang isu-isu terkini, dan terutama berhubungan dengan studi Seni Pertunjukan dan Pembelajarannya(Seni Drama, Tari dan Musik) dengan menyebar luaskan pengetahuan di bidang-bidang yang muncul dan berkembang. Hasil riset, terdiri dari laporan ilmiah yang meningkatkan pengetahuan tentang seni secara umum, seni pertunjukan, dan pendidikan seni. Baik dalam bentuk artikel yang melaporkan hasil studi penelitian kuantitatif atau kualitatif. Artikel secara konseptual harus relevan untuk memajukan Seni Pertunjukan dan Pembelajarannya, menyajikan teori tentang seni, model, posisi filosofis, dll. Artikel juga dapat mengacu pada teori-teori ataupun materi- materi yang dikembangkan dalam praktik dan pendidikan seni pertunjukan. Bahasa naskah yang dikirimkan dalam bahasa Indonesia. Harus membahas tentang masalah serta kontribusi baru yang signifikan untuk bidang praktik dan pendidikan seni pertunjukan. Artikel dapat berasal dari salah satu bidang berikut: - Drama - Tari - Musik dan / atau Musik Tradisional - dan Pembelajarannya

Abstract

This research aims to describe the implementation of cultural arts learning (music) of traditional gandang tambua in Mts Negeri 4 Padang Pariaman in which the game of gandang tambua in madrasah is an implementation of the local content curriculum used by madrasah in the curriculum 2013. The research method was qualitative research with using a descriptive analysis research approach. The object of research was the learning activity of Tambua traditional music which was carried out at class VIII-1 both of theory and practice learning. The research instruments used were observation, interviews, and documentation studies. Techniques of data collection were done by taking documentation notes, field notes and interviews guideline. The results of the study explain that the implementation of cultural art learning (music) of the gandang tambua in MTs Negeri 4 Padang Pariaman still uses the usual or conventional methods. The use of lecture, question and answer, discussion and training methods by imitating the game gandang tambua that the teacher always demonstrates is applied in theory and practice learning activities. Besides that, in the training activityof gandang tambua, the teacher introduces the activitiy of imitating, remembering and memorizing the model of the punch that the teacher demonstrates. These learning ways raise variety of problems in practice, especially when explaining and practicing the gandang tambua in front of the students, the teacher does not look for methods that are suitable and also the teacher does not use adequate learning media.

Abstract

This study aims to explain two things, about (1) the implementation of giving homework in the field of theory (using LKS) in arts and culture lessons (music) for Class VII students of SMP 3 Painan, Pesisir Selatan Regency; and (2) Implementation of homework assignments in the field of practice (without LKS) on arts and culture lessons (music) for Class VII students of Painan 3 South Pesisir Regency. This type of research is a qualitative research with a descriptive analysis method, the research produced will provide a clear picture of the object under study with various points of view and various explanations. Data collection techniques by observation, interview notes, documentation notes and study literature notes. Data analysis techniques are collecting data, identifying data, classifying data, describing data, and drawing final conclusions. After collecting the data, the results obtained that the results of the study found problems in giving assignments by the teacher to students in music culture and art lessons in class VII, which is less effective, and not balanced. Homework assignments in the form of musical art practice exercises (without worksheets) performed outside the classroom by students have less portions, compared to assigning theoretical work (using worksheets) done by students individually or in groups. However, at the next learning meeting in class, the teacher asked questions and collected the results of the music practice as evidence of homework in the form of practice already carried out. While homework in the form of theory that students do with worksheets has never been asked or questioned by the teacher. So the results of this study show that there are two opposites, where the results of homework without worksheets carried out by students practicing at home are more questioned by the teacher, while homework with worksheets done by students is not discussed more.

Abstract

This study aims to determine whether audiovisual media influences students’ learning outcomes in Cultural Arts (music) at class XI of SMA Negeri 1 2X11 Enam Lingkung. This type of research was an experimental study with a population of students of SMA Negeri 1 2X11 Enam Lingkung Padang Pariaman Regency. The variables in this study are the independentand the dependent variable. This research instrument used were the objective questions for the initial test (pretest) and objective questions for the final test (post-test). The techniques in analyzing data were normality test, homogeneity test, and hypothesis test. The results of the study show that there are differences of musical art learning outcomes between the use of audiovisual media withconventional methodin the learning of Cultural art (Music) in the even semester in SMAN 1 2X11 Enam Lingkung. This is proven through hypothesis testing with tarithmetic= 3.628 and ttable= 2.008. It can be concluded that, trithmetic>ttable in  = 5% thenH0 is rejected and H1is accepted.

Abstract

This research aims to describe and discuss the inheritance of Silek Pauh at the University of Kalumbuk subdistrict, Kuranji, Padang. The method used in this study is a qualitative deskritif method. Research instruments are self-researcher and assisted by supporting instruments such as stationary cameras. The data types in this study are primary data and secondary data. Data collection techniques are conducted by way of library studies, observation, interviews, documentation.  The steps for analyzing data are data collection, describing data and making inferences. The results showed that the inheritance of Silaturahmi in this college was an open devolution system. But still rigid due to some things, among them the trainer currently has not found a candidate who is intact and able to learn the Silek Pauh.  The function of Silek Pauh in addition to martial arts and performance art, Silek Pauh is also used as a means of communication and associating among Pauh people. This seems to be seen in the practice activities Pauh Silek Many students come to Pauh Silaturahmi in this college from several villages outside the village Kalumbuk. Currently, the college has remained a sociable event between youth Kalumbuak. The process of student rektrument at the college is very easy, by coming directly and convey the goodwill to be a student in the College of Hospitality, and will be able to follow every process that is at the time of practice.

Abstract

The "Moans (Rintihan)" artwork aims to elevate personal life into motion elements, create dance artworks, stimulate art performers to increase creativity in art and express the experience of writers as beginner choreographers in the field of dance art creation. The form of presentation in the “Moans (Rintihan)" artwork was representational. The “Moans (Rintihan)" artwork depict family activities that began with a beauty and harmony of the family that end in something not as expected. In this work, the choreographers used movements that have meaning and pure motion that had been distributed with motion techniques adapted to the theme, so that the designs of motion have strenght that could be used as starting points in the work, the most preferred in this work was aesthetic of the motions, full of soul and artistic motions, since the dance is also the choreographer’s priority.

Abstract

This study aimed to describe the learning facilities and infrastructure in the field of arts and culture, describe the students’ achievements of participants studying art and culture, and analyze the influence of learning facilities and infrastructure of art and culture on student learning outcomes at 8th Grade Level of SMP Negeri 4 Kota Pariaman. This type of research was qualitative research using descriptive methods. The object of this study was students of 8th Grade Level of SMP Negeri 4 Kota Pariaman who took part in learning vocal techniques. Techniques of data collection were carried out employing literature study, observation, interviews and documentation studies. Techniques of data analysis were through the process of data collection, data reduction, data presentation, and concluding.The results of the study found that the availability of facilities and infrastructure for learning arts and culture in SMP Negeri 4 Pariaman is still incomplete so that in the learning process, especially when practicing with cultural arts equipment, not all students can have practice experience. The allocation of funds from schools for the completeness of cultural arts learning facilities and infrastructure is still low so that the school approves not all planning for the provision of cultural arts learning infrastructure facilities. Student learning outcomes in arts and culture subjects have not reached the expected target because there are still many students who score below the KKM. To overcome the constraints in the limited availability of facilities and infrastructure for learning arts and culture, teachers have sought to improve the active role of students in adding insight by accessing internet media and also adding additional learning hours to anticipate the limitations of practice time due to inadequate cultural arts equipment available.

Abstract

This study aims to see and describe the students' perceptions of music art learning in SMA 12 Padang. This type of study was a qualitative with using a descriptive approach. The instrument in this study was the researcher. It was also assisted by supporting instruments such as stationery and camera. Types of data used primary and secondary. Techniques of Data collection were carried out by doing observation, interview and literature study. Techniques in analyzing data were done by collecting, classifying, describing and making data conclusion. Based on observations and interviews, there are still many things that must be addressed by the school in order to improve the students learning outcomes. Some of them are as follows: (1) The students' perception of music art learning at class XI IPA 4 in SMA 12 Padang. (2) The students attention towards music art learning. (3) The music art learning material in SMA 12 Padang. (4) The facilities and the infrastructures provided by the school that can be supported by giving invitations to students to pay more attention to the learning of music as a subject that is as important as other subjects.

Abstract

Maarak Bungo Lamang Dance is a result of the creation of dance creations based on the life phenomenon of the Durian River of the South Solok district in order to celebrate the day of the Prophet Maulid. In this regard, the tradition of society that has a sense of gratitude for the day of the Prophet Maulid in a festive way is not separated from the Islamic faith.  The dance work "Maarak Bungo Lamang" is an interpretation of the community tradition of the river Durian in welcoming the Prophet's Maulid by means of a journey around the village along with Shalawat-Shalawat. It is as an expression of gratitude for the Prophet's Maulid day.  The dance works were performed by 7 dancers, 3 male dancers and 4 female dancers as well as 13 Pendukkung dancers for the early dances, expected to be a new form of dance creations. Program artwork is aimed at adding a wealth of dance artwork, as well as an educational platform for new artists.

Abstract

This research aims to determine and describe students' interest in dance extracurricular activity at SMP Negeri 34 Padang. This type of research was a qualitative study with using descriptive method. The instrument in this study was the researcher. The additional instrument used the questionnaire. Techniques of Data collection were carried out by taking observation, questionnaires, documentation and practicing motion. The types of data in this study were primary and secondary data. Data were analyzed by using the percentage formula. The results show that students' interest in dance extracurricular activity at SMP Negeri 34 Padang is relatively good. The percentage of the students feeling happy in dance extracurricular is 52.78% that is classified as moderate, students' interest in dance extracurricular is 48.33% that is moderate, the student’s attention on dance extracurricular is 45.56% that is classified as moderate and the student's interest towards dance extracurricular is 47, 78% that is classified as moderate. It can be concluded that the students' interest in dance extracurricular activity in SMP Negeri 34 Padang is good with an average value is 64.81%. There are several things that need to be organized in this dance extracurricular activity so that students' interest in this activity will increase even more in terms of material and method.

Abstract

 This study aims to determine and describe the implementation of drumband extracurricular activity in SDN 48 Ganting Padang. This type of research was qualitative research with using descriptive method including literature study, observation, interviews and documentation. The research instrument was the researcher. The Supporting instruments used were notebooks and stationery, photo cameras / mobile phones. This study explains that drumband is one of the extracurricular activities in SD Negeri 48 Ganting Padang. Drum Band is used to support flag ceremony. Besides, drumband is used by the community for babako parade events. Based on the results of the study, it is found that the implementation of the drumband begins by designing the principle of activity consisting of determining the participants of the exercise taken fromthe students at class VI, then determining the training time every Monday, Thursday, and Saturday. The material used namely marching exercises and musical exercises training that consisting of the song Indonesia Raya, Independence Day, Bangun Pemuda Pemudi, Bareh Solok, Ayam Den Lapeh, Malam Bainai and Moment of Silence. This extracurricular activitiy runs in accordance with the plans that have been made by the school.
