Memuat teks yang dihasilkan oleh kelompok penyunting, naskah yang digunakan adalah naskah yang lolos dan tidak pernah / tidak akan pindah ke jurnal lain. Jurnal Sendratasik menerima naskah yang memberikan wawasan tentang isu-isu terkini, dan terutama berhubungan dengan studi Seni Pertunjukan dan Pembelajarannya(Seni Drama, Tari dan Musik) dengan menyebar luaskan pengetahuan di bidang-bidang yang muncul dan berkembang. Hasil riset, terdiri dari laporan ilmiah yang meningkatkan pengetahuan tentang seni secara umum, seni pertunjukan, dan pendidikan seni. Baik dalam bentuk artikel yang melaporkan hasil studi penelitian kuantitatif atau kualitatif. Artikel secara konseptual harus relevan untuk memajukan Seni Pertunjukan dan Pembelajarannya, menyajikan teori tentang seni, model, posisi filosofis, dll. Artikel juga dapat mengacu pada teori-teori ataupun materi- materi yang dikembangkan dalam praktik dan pendidikan seni pertunjukan. Bahasa naskah yang dikirimkan dalam bahasa Indonesia. Harus membahas tentang masalah serta kontribusi baru yang signifikan untuk bidang praktik dan pendidikan seni pertunjukan. Artikel dapat berasal dari salah satu bidang berikut: - Drama - Tari - Musik dan / atau Musik Tradisional - dan Pembelajarannya

Abstract

This study aims to describe efforts to improve the learning of playing melodica for students at SMP Negeri 12 in South Solok Regency. The research uses a descriptive qualitative approach. The object of this research was the Efforts to Improve melodica Learning, at SMP Negeri 12 South Solok Regency, which is contained in the implementation of melodica playing instruction. The data sourced from observations and interviews. The interviews used to collect the data were planned interviews and unplanned interviews. After the data were collected through data collection techniques, the next step done was classifying the data based on their importance. Based on the results of research conducted at SMP Negeri 12 in South Solok Regency, in the subject of Music Arts, there is one of the subjects related to playing Nusantara ethnic songs using a melodica. Melodica is a musical instrument which has an important role in learning music in Junior High Schools. Melodica is not only found in learning but in extracurricular activities such as marching band, and melodica also plays an important role in playing song melodies.

Abstract

The research problem is motivated by the existence of teachers’ activities in implementing 2013 Curriculum, especially in the form of implementing curricular activities (learning and non-learning) during Covid-19 pandemic. This is due to the fact that even though the teachers do not teach students face to face, curricular activities at school must be conducted both in the form of online learning and other non-learning activities. This study aims to explain various non-face-to-face curricular activities which can be conducted by music teachers at SMP Negeri 3 Muaro Bungo Jambi during the Covid-19 Pandemic.This is a qualitative research using descriptive analysis approach. The research object was music teachers at SMP Negeri 3 Muaro Bungo Jambi. The research instruments were observation, interview, and documentation study. The results explain that since the government has implemented health protocol rules to prevent Covid-19 transmission in schools, the music teachers at SMP Negeri 3 Muaro Bungo Jambi continue to carry out non-face-to-face curricular activities. The learning activities carried out online by teachers. In addition, the teachers conduct other non-learning curricular activities such as adjusting semester programs, reconstructing lesson plans, simplifying subject matters, making video tutorials for teaching preparation, and so on.

Abstract

This study aims to reveal the values of local wisdom of Ronggeng Sakabek Arek Art in the Simpang Timbo Abu Preparatory Kenagarian, Talamau District, West Pasaman Regency, by using the theory of local wisdom values and the theory of performing arts. This research employed qualitative research using descriptive analytical methods. The main instrument is the researcher himself with primary and secondary data types. Data collection techniques are library reviews, observation, interviews and documentation. The object of research is the Ronggeng Sakabek Arek Art in the Kenagarian Preparation of “Simpang Timbo Abu”, Talamau District, West Pasaman. It found that the Ronggeng Sakabek Arek Art was performed at three events, namely (a) the values of local wisdom contained in the Ronggeng Arts Youth Event, (1) the religious values in which the time of Ronggeng art was held after Isya Prayers, ( 2) the moral value of love for Ronggeng art by teaching Ronggeng art to the community even though it is not part of the Ronggeng Sakabek Arek art group, (3) ethical and moral values, before the implementation of Ronggeng art first ask permission from Niniak Mamak and other traditional leaders. (b) The values of local wisdom found in the Ronggeng Art Show at the mamasak night, (1) the religious values at which the Ronggeng art is held after the Isya prayer, (2) the social values to entertain and accompany tired working mothers in the kitchen preparing food for the wedding the next day and feeling love for Ronggeng art by means of the Ronggeng players giving opportunities to children and people who are not members of the Ronggeng Sakabek Arek art group to appear on stage. (c) The values of local wisdom contained in the Ronggeng performance at Aghak-aghak or marapulai processions in the Baralek event are social values, namely the number of families participating in delivering marapulai to the house of the dagho child or bride, as well as for the Ronggeng players. They are willing to take the time to accompany “marapulai” to the house of dagho children.

Abstract

The problem of this research rises from the Culture and Arts instruction of music at SMP 14 South Solok which is carried out during a Covid-19 pandemic situation, so there is no face-to-face learning except for the implementation of online learning which is indirectly conducted by teachers and students. This research aims to explain the implementation of recording learning with the help of WhatsApp application in learning music at SMP Negeri 14 South Solok during the Covid-19 pandemic. This is a qualitative research using descriptive analysis approach. The research’s object was the teacher and 24 students of class VII-3 who conducted recording learning using the WA application. The learning was guided by the teacher from the school for students studying at home. The research instruments were observation, interview, and documentation study. The results of the study explain that the use of WA application for recording learning in class VII-3 students at SMP Negeri 14 South Solok has advantage and weaknesses. The advantage is the ease of using the applications in learning.  This is due to the fact that it can easily send and receive chats, photos, audio, and videos related to the subject matter. However, the weaknesses exist in the unavailability of cellphone devices, unstable internet connection, and expensive internet loads to facilitate WA usage for learning.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the presentation of TambuaTansaD'palanos Art at a wedding party in LubukBasung, Agam Regency. This study belongs to a qualitative research using descriptive method. The object of this research was the TambuaTansa D palano's Art Group in LubukBasung, Agam Regency. The instrument of this research was the researcheritself and was assisted by supporting instruments such as stationery, laptops, and cellphones. The data were collected through observation, interview, and documentation. In the results of the study, the author concludes that the presentation of TambuaTansa D palano's art at a wedding party in LubukBasung, Agam Regency, is used as welcoming and accompaniment musicof the braid and groom on the way to the location where the wedding ceremony is held.The presentation of Tambua Tansa D Palano's Art is a kind of ensemble which presents several songs: Short Atam and Long Atam. Its form is presented in a performing art / stage in a circular formation.The presentation of Tambua Tansa D Palano's Art at a wedding party is an ensemble whose presentation is in the form of an opposite lined up and leading to each other. It is presented at the wedding location/ in front of the bridal house and on the highway as accompaniment music. The presentation of Tambuatansa D Palano's art at the wedding party is presented with tambua songs that have existedbefore. It is prepared carefully and usually performed around 10in the morning until the procession is over.

Abstract

This study aims to reveal Minangkabau Custom Social Values in Silek Pauhat Perguruan Singo Barantai, Lubuk Lintah, Kuranji Padang. This is a qualitative research using descriptive analytical method. The main instrument used was the researcher itself and was assisted by supporting instruments such as writing instruments, cameras, and cellphones. The data used were primary and secondary data. The data were collected through literature study, observation, interview, and documentation. The data analysis was done byreducing the data, displaying the data, and making conclusion. Based on the results of this research, it is found that there are social values which can shape characters of the next generation, especially for sasian generation in Perguruan Singo Barantai. The Minangkabau social values found in Silek Pauh at Perguruan Singo Barantai, Lubuk Lintah, Kuranji, Padang, can be described as follows: 1) The social values of the step moves is a person can consider other people / be considerate of being Minangkabau people. 2) The social values of attack motion is a person has an accurate consideration in making decisions. 3) The social values of the lockdown moves is a person can adapt to any situation. 4) The social values of defend movesis a person has alertness and capabiltyin reading situations.

Abstract

This study aims to identify and explain the form of Rebana Burdah presentation in a wedding ceremony in Nagari Payo, Lubuak Sikarah district, Tanah Garam village, Solok City. It includes the players, the musical instruments used, the songs presented in Rebana Burdah, the time and place of the performance, the costumes, Rebana Burdah art in the procession, and its supporting community. This is a qualitative researchusing a descriptive method. The object of research was the presentation of Rebana Burdah in NagariPayo, Lubuak Sikarah District, Tanah Garamvillage, Solok City. The data were collected through observation, interview, recording, and shooting. The data were processed by using qualitative analysis. From the data analysis, it is found that the presentation of Rebana Burdah in a wedding ceremony in Nagari Payo, Lubuak Sikarah district, Tanah Garam Village, Solok City, consists of at least four people and six people in maximum. The musical instrument used was a tambourine. The song which accompanies the tambourine is read from a bezanji with radat was made by the Rebana group at Surau Rudah. Meanwhile, the position of Rebana Burdah players in the procession is at the back and there is no rule for what costumes should be worn. Tambourine is onekind of musical instrument. Rebana Burdahuses songs from the zanji book accompanied by rebana. In Nagari Payo community, Lubuak Sikarah District, Tanah GaramVillage, Solok City, Rebana Burdahis presented in every traditional ceremony and Islamic religious holiday, and it is especially performed at wedding ceremony. Rebana Burdah is presented at a wedding ceremony and during the procession. It is presented at night while waiting for the groom at house, and it is presented in the day during the procession.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the use of whatsapp group as a communication tool in dance learning in class VIII.1 at SMP Negeri 2 Bukittinggi. This is a qualitative research with a qualitative descriptive method. The instrument used in this study was a knowledge (cognitive) test. The data used were primary and secondary data. The data were collected through observation, interviews, learning outcomes tests, documentation, and literature study. The data analysis was conducted by reducing the data, presenting the data, and making conclusions. The results show that the implementation of learning method using Whatsapp group in class VIII.1 at SMP N 2 Bukittinggi is quite effective. Judging from the planning, the teacher's learning design remains the same. However, the learning steps conducted is different due tothe fact that it is carried out through WhatsApp group application. Meanwhile, the material is in the form of power points sent into the WhatsApp group chat as the learning media. Judging from the process of learning implementation, the material taught by the teacher is only the basic competence of knowledge, while the basic competence of skills is not. Thus, learning happens just for Basic Competence 3 while Basic Competence 4 is not implemented. In the learning process, the teacher always invites students to interact, but only a few students respond.The students responding are almost always the same while the other students only read the group because they are not familiar with learning using WhatsApp. Related to assignments given, the students always do well even though the materials provided by the teacher are incomplete. Every assignment can be done because students can search for answers by browsing the internet. Thus, students can add information that has not been given by the teacher.

Abstract

The song of the red bridge is a national anthem created by Gesang that contains the story of farewell in the fire of struggle. The purpose of this work is to create works in the form of school music arrangements. In this work the arranger worked on a red bridge song in the form of school music, then combined it with a touch of combo band from several musical components in the middle, thus forming a new arransemen to show. The nuances of the arrangement will later transform the emotions of hope and anticipation into something joyous, reinforced by the progress of jazz chords and combined with the pattern of ska music. This work of "Red Bridge" is a self-expression of the author with a form manifested into three plot sections, based on the development of the song "Red Bridge" as well as brass session patterns, which are appeared in a series of ritems and sentences using composition techniques used as binding of this work.
