Abstract

During this time many people were found to achieve the required high learningachievement intellectual intelligence (IQ) is also high. However, EQ good can determine thesuccess of individuals in learning achievement in building a successful career, and can reducethe aggressiveness, especially among teenagers purpose of this study was to determinewhether there is a relationship of emotional intelligence toward student learning achievementProdi DIII Midwifery Curup Semester II and IV. This research was conducted in the ProdiDIII Midwifery Curup from July to August 2016, with the number of respondents, thisresearch is descriptive analytic, data collection using a scale based on the theory of emotionalintelligence Daniel Goleman; to measure student achievement used methods of examinationof documents by the second half saw the value of IP, IV and population II and IV semesterstudent, taken by total population, the data was analyzed by univariate and bivariate. Theresults of the analysis of experimental data showed correlation coefficient of 0.635 with p0.005 (<0.05), the Ha accepted. This means that there is a significant relationship betweenemotional intelligence and academic achievement of students Prodi DIII Midwifery Curup IIand IV semester of 2016. To develop and optimize the emotional intelligence plays a role instudent success both in school and in the surrounding environment, it is recommended to thecampus, especially the lecturer-dosenagar incorporate elements emosioal intelligence inpresenting the material as well as the emotions involved in the learning process

Abstract

Nurses who have the ability to identify and understand the spiritual aspects of thepatient, will be able to carry out spiritual fulfillment and knowing how spiritual beliefs can affectthe life of every individual. The purpose of this research is the perception of nurses correlationwith the fulfillment of the spiritual care of patients in inpatient hospitals Dr.M. YunusBengkulu. The type of this research is analityc with cross sectional design. The Researchsample is nurses inpatient ward of RSUD Dr. M. Yunus Bengkulu who numbered 83 nursestaken with total sampling technique. Research done at eight wards hospitals Dr. M YunusBengkulu for two months. Collecting data using a questionnaire. Quantitative data analysis isunivariate and bivariate with uji chi-square at α 5%. The results showed that there was a significantrelationship between the perception of nurses and spiritual fulfillment of inpatientcare in hospitals Dr.M.Yunus Bengkulu (p : 0.022) with OR 3.107 (95% CI : 1.265 to 7.630),which means nurses have perceptionless chance three times to apply the spiritual care that isless favorable than that good perception. To the Hospital Dr. M. Yunus Bengkulu expectedfor the provision of facilities and additional skills for nurses in the inpatient room about theimportance of spiritual fulfillment as well as the necessary care program to improve the perceptionof nursing care, especially for spiritual fulfillment inpatients.

Abstract

Schizophrenic patients experience limitations to perform their role as normalhumans. This limitation makes the beliefs of nurses form perceived attributes deviate aspeople with mental disorders that are difficult to cure, unpredictable and discriminatoryoccurrence known as stigmatization. The aim of this research was to identify the relationshipbetween attitudes with the stigma of mental nurses in schizophrenic patients. Descriptiveanalytic research design, cross sectional approach. A sample of 140 nurses, makingthe entire population a subject of research. The result of the research was the attitudeof the nurse's authority to show the negative attitude, the attitude of the virtue, the socialrestriction and the ideology of mental health community showed positive nurse attitude.Most stigma of nurses in schizophrenic patients was high. There was a relationship betweensocial restriction and nurse stigma in schizophrenic patients. While there is no correlationbetween attitude of authority, virtue, and ideology of mental health communitywith stigma of nurse in schizophrenic patient at RSJ Prof.HB Saanin Padang 2015. Suggestionfor institution especially in nursing field conducting education and training onnurse about stigma of nurse in schizophrenia patient so nurse able to reduce the occurrenceof stigma especially discrimination by nurse and patient get more optimal nursingservice.

Abstract

Gluten-free diet and casein one form of therapy that aims to improve the metabolismof the body with a certain intake of children consumed autism. Gluten and casein in children arenot allowed because of increased bowel permeability. The purpose of this research is to knowthe relationship of nutritional knowledge and maternal obedience in applying a casein-free glutenfree diet in autistic children in Bengkulu City. The research design used was observationalwith Cross sectional study approach. The sample of this research is all mothers who have childrenwho have autism in Bengkulu City as much as 42 respondents, sampling technique in totalsampling. This study is from January to February 2016. Data analysis using chi-square. Therewas no correlation between nutritional knowledge and maternal obedience in applying a caseinfreegluten-free diet in autistic children in Bengkulu City (p = 0,534.) It is recommended thatparents pay attention to nutritional adequacy of the respondents and abstinence ie food sourcesof gluten and casein.

Abstract

Air is one important element in the life of living creatures of the earth and a gas mixturecontained in a layer that surrounds the Earth . Air can also act as a means of nosocomial infection .Classrooms III which is the room most at risk of nosocomial infections , where one room within thebed did not qualify and the officer did not use personal protective equipment. The research objectivewas to determine the total number of bacteria in the treatment room air class III special room 1 maleand 2 women’s rooms in room sick DKT Bengkulu city. This type of research is qualitativedescriptive approach a study that describes the number of total number of bacteria in the air in a ClassIII hospital treatment DKT city of Bengkulu. Based on the results of the study the total number of airgerms in the classroom III consists of one room for boys is 511 CFU /m3 and women’s room 2 is 556CFU / m3 . Personal hyigene expected increase for staff and visitors to wash their hands obedientlybefore and after the entrance of the room.

Abstract

Respiratory disorders are human lung function damage due to blockage of therespiratory tract by dust respiratory disorders. The research problem is the high smokingand lack of PPE in cement warehouse workers. The purpose of research known relationshipof smoking habits and personal protective equipment (PPE) with respiratory distresson three wheels cement warehouse worker Bengkulu. Type a descriptive study usingcross sectional approach. Subjects consisted of 35 respondents. Data were collected byquestionnaire directly to the job site. Univariate and bivariate analysis with Chi-squaretest. The results of data analysis showed that the value of ρ = 0.001 (ρ ˂ 0,005) smoking(81.0%) there is a link cigarette smoking with breathing disorders, the value ρ = 0.011 (ρ˃ 0,005) did not wear PPE (72%) there is no relationship APD with respiratory disorders.Suggested workers using PPE in the form of a mask while working or while in the surroundingarea cement storage warehouse. The company also advised medical check up onworkers to control the physical condition of workers so that the worker is known to havesuffered respiratory problems.

Abstract

The lifestyle changes influence to dietary habit, less physical activity, smoking,stress, family’s background and eating foods habit in high natrium, low fiber, low potassiumand low calcium will bring the consequences of developing hypertension. The aim of thisresearch was to find the relation between the consumptions of fiber, natrium, potassium,calcium and physical activity with blood pressure of hypertension patients at Basuki Rahmadlocal medical center working area Bengkulu City on 2016. This research was survey analyticwith cross-sectional approachment. The sample was done by using simple random samplingtechnique. Then the data was analyzed in bivariet by using correlation regression and wasanalyzed through multivariate by using double linier regression. The result of this researchshowed the respondents consumption of fiber, natrium, potassium, calcium was under theaverage normal requirements and the physical activity of hypertension patients was in mildactivity category (p value < 0,05). The dominant factor of blood pressure relation in thisresearch was fiber consumption. It is needed to do socialization and nutrient consultation byusing leaflets about the food that contains high fiber, potassium and calcium and also lownatrium to hypertension patients so that the respondents can keep dietary habit and reduce bloodpressure.

Abstract

Development theory states that toddler children enter the anal stagecharacterized by the development of satisfaction (kateksis) and dissatisfaction(antikateksis) around the elimination function. Failure of toilet training can be caused dueto the use of diapers up to the age of 4 years so as to increase the risk of bladderproblems. This study uses a quantitative research with descriptive design with crosssectional analytic. The sample in this study is the mother and child in early childhoodeducation and early childhood Baitul Izzah Ababil Bengkulu city bumbering 81 people.The collection of data by using a questionnaire sheet. Abstract

The incidence of MTPS is still high, especially on the field workers in theMunicipal Water Company (PDAM) of Bengkulu City with signs and symptoms of painin the biceps and triceps. Isometric exercise is one of the practical and economical waysto reduce pain. The aim of the research was to know the effect of isometric exercisemovement on the decrease of biceps and tricep's biceps BMPS on the field worker inPDAM Kota Bengkulu. This research was an analytic research, which uses one grouppre-test post-test design. The sample in this research was PDAM Bengkulu field workeris 21 people. Data collection by measuring the scale of pain in the biceps and triceps.Data analysis was conducted in quantitative manner ie univariate and bivariate. Based onthe result of the research, it was found that the average value of pain scale beforeperforming gelatik is 3.52 with 95% CI 3,13-3,92. After 2 weeks of gelatik was done asmuch as 6 times got the pain scale of respondent was 3,00 with 95% CI 2,71-3,29Wilcoxon test result got p value <0,05 (0,012). This method is expected to be applied tothe program of PDAM Kota Bengkulu with the implementation of gelatik 3 times a weekto reduce the pain of MTPS.

Abstract

A family is a small unite of society that hold an important role as nation asset.The quality family can be reached by doing a set of good planning. A family needsknowledge about a quality family. One of the approaches that can improve the society’swillingness to maintan of healthy is that by doing health promotion by using leafletmedia. This research aims to know the impact of health promotion toward theknowledge, behaviour, and the action taken by new family to reach a quality family. Thisresearch used quasi experimental by planning of non-equivalent control group design.The samples were the men and women that have just married that were 44 persons. Thefinding of the research showed that there were any impacts of health promotion by usingleaflet media toward the knowledge and the action of new family in reaching a qualityfamily. Therefore, there is a need to increase health promotion using leaflet media, so itcan improve the knowledge and the behaviour of the society about the quality family sothey can make it.
