Abstract

Elderly health care coverage in Public Health Jalan Gedang as much (81.92%)and the number of elderly as many as 686 people. Visit the elderly who come to posyanduranges from 41-53 people per month in 2016. The health center has two IHC GedangWay consists of IHC Elderly Elderly Serayu Mandiri and Posyandu Elderly Peace. IHChas five cadres and participants 44 people. Elderly Posyandu cadre of Peace has fivepeople, participants lansianya 50 people. IHC Elderly Peace has many achievements thanPosyandu Elderly Serayu Mandiri The study design used in this research is descriptivequalitative method. Informants in this study as many as 10 cadres and 1 officer in chargePosyandu program. The study design used in this research is descriptive qualitativemethod. Knowledge Posyandu Elderly Peace found that IHC Elderly for seniors 60 yearsand older age range and Posyandu Elderly Serayu Mandiri that Posyandu Elderly agerange of 40 years and above. Attitude Posyandu Elderly Peace mostly elderly support andintegrated support Serayu Mandiri attitude. Kader Posyandu Elderly Peace and PosyanduElderly Serayu Mandiri mostly not expect incentives. Kader Posyandu Elderly Peacemostly mentioned five systems the table properly and Posyandu Elderly Serayu Mandirino mention of five tables with the right system. Expected to conduct refresher training orvolunteers to knowledge about Posyandu cadres better, could improve the role in theservice of Posyandu.

Abstract

The incidence of child development deviation in Indonesia reached 13% -18%.About 16% of children under five years got neurodevelopmental and brain disorders frommild to severe. This study aimed to determine the effect of brief training by using Pre-Screening Questionnaire Development (KPSP) to improve the knowledge and skills ofparents in detection of child development. This study was quasi experimental with preposttest only. The population in this study were the parents / guardians of children atkinder garten of Baitul Izzah and Al Hasanah Bengkulu City. Samples were parents whohave never participated in training and at least high school education. Number of samples56 (28 intervention and 28 control) taken with concecutive sampling techniques. Datacollection were using questionnaire for knowledge and checklist for skills. Statistical testindependent t-test at the α 5% (one tail). The results showed the average age was 33years, the average income was 2.3 million per month, more mothers working and havehigher education. There were the difference in knowledge after being given brief trainingof 27.5 (p value = 0.000) and the difference in ability between the intervention andcontrol groups (p value = 0.000). Effectiveness of brief training to increase the knowledgeof 35%. factor affecting the mother's knowledge was the age (p 0.001; OR: 2.12). Weconcluded that parents are expected to apply the child development detection according toability at home and it is needed training for other parents.

Abstract

Birth Planning and Complication Prevention (P4K) Program with Stickers isan breakthrough effort in accelerating the decline in the death rate of mother andnewborn baby. The Activity build on potential of the community, to preparation andsave the mothers and newborn baby. Based on preliminary survey at clinic prumnas doresearcher interview not structur to 8 pregnant women including two pregent womenwho have been putting up stickers P4K and 6 pregnant women have not planned andhave not stick to P4K Stiker at home. Objective to know how the class counselingpregnant woment to knowledge and participation of expectant mother with theinstallation of the program on a p4k sticker. This type of research is Experimental designpre one group pretest-posttest . Samples taken by total sampling. The Data analysis doin univariat and bivariat wWilcon test at α 5%. Research Result: that that the avererageKnowledge before to the counseling and after the counseling is There is difference ofknowledge And participation of P4K sticker installation before and after the counselingin rejang lebong prumnas Bengkulu health center (p value = 0,000).

Abstract

The sufferers’ incapable in carried out DM type 2 is one of the most caused it. Diabetic Self-Management Education (DSME) is the method which can stimulate of patients’ knowledge; skill andability in doing the self-care for prevent the ulcers’ diabetic. The aim of this research is to find out theinfluence of DSME toward the risk of consistence of ulcers’ diabetic for path treatment’s patients ofmellitus diabetes (MD) type 2 at Pukesmas Jalan Gedang of Bengkulu’s working area in year 2016.The method of this research is quasi-experimental with pre-test and post-test approach. SimpleRandom Sampling is used to divided the 66 respondent in 2 groups i.e. intervention and controlgroups. The result showed that the influence of DSME toward risk of consistence of ulcers’ diabeticbefore DSME (p=0,329) whereas, after DSME (p=0,020); with improvement of knowledge beforeDSME (p=0,135),after DSME (p=0,027); and leg treatment behavior before DSME (p=0,135)whereas, after DSME (p=0,041); as well as self-confidence before DSME (p=0,454) whereas, afterDSME (p=0,002) by value (≤α=0,05). It can conclude that there is a significant influence of DSMEtoward risk of consistence of ulcers’ diabetic for path treatment’s patients of mellitus diabetes (MD)type 2 at Pukesmas Jalan Gedang Bengkulu’s Working Area in year 2016. This research can be inputinformation for the health’s staff. In order, it can give the knowledge and the health promotion aboutthe influence of DSME toward the risk of consistence of ulcers’ diabetic.

Abstract

Children who experience malnutrition disorder will experience less physicalgrowth and mental disorders. Restore additional feeding program is one of the efforts intackling the problem of poor nutrition and lack of nutrition. This study aims to evaluatethe intake of nutrients, nutritional status and health status in toddlers who get PMTRecoveryin the working area in Bengkulu City Clinics 2016. This research is descriptiveresearch with cross sectional approach. Sampling purposive sampling technique was donewith as many as 43 samples. Data were collected through a questionnaire that has beenfilled by the mother of a toddler through the interview process which was then in theanalysis are univariate and bivariat. The results showed that intake of nutrients (energy,protein, fat and carbohydrates) toddler respondents have earned PMT-P average includescategories less than a number of nutritional adequacy. Toddler health status ofrespondents have earned PMT-P was almost entirely never experienced pain during thelast month. Based on the results of the statistical tests are known that there is ameaningful difference between the nutritional status before and after nutrition status on atoddler who has been getting PMT-P in the city of Bengkulu. P-PMT program that hasbeen running should be more optimized so that nutritional problems in toddlers can behandled. The need for monitoring back on intake of nutrients, nutritional status and healthstatus of toddlers who have been getting PMT-P in an attempt to increase the success ofthe program.

Abstract

Providing clean water to the community has a very important role inimproving the environment or public health, which has a role in reducing the number ofpeople with the disease, especially those related to water, and its role in improving thestandard or level / quality of life. initial survey conducted on February 20, 2016 in RW.03 Village Rawa Makmur Permai Bengkulu City after measurements were obtained Iron(Fe) 0.9 mg / L; Manganese (Mn) of 0.87 mg / L. From the measurement results in theinitial survey is known that water wells RW.03 village residents Rawa Makmur PermaiBengkulu city still exceeds the threshold required by Permenkes RI 416 / Menkes / per /IX / 1990. The purpose of this study was to determine the reduced levels of Fe and Mnbefore and after treatment by using a variation of coal thickness of 20 cm, 30 cm and 50cm as well as to the most effective menegetahui thickness variation to reduce levels of Feand Mn. This research uses experimental methods pure (True Experimental) experimentaldesign with Pre-Post test, the research conducted before and after treatment. Then lookfor the difference between the measurement of both, and the difference is considered as aresult of treatment. Results of the study is the reduction of Fe content using coaldecreased by 42% and decreased levels of Mn using coal decreased by 35%. The resultshowed that the thicker the more effective adsorbent decline.

Abstract

Light Trap is a mosquito catcher by using light to trap mosquito into a research container. The study objective was to find out the relationship between the density of anopheles mosquitoes with malaria incidence in Taba Lagan Village, Central Bengkulu. This research is quasi-experiment with quantitative approach. The population of this study was all of mosquitos breeding place data and all of patients data who got treatment at community health centre of Tabalagan. Samples of the study were selected by using proportional random sampling. The results showed that the density of mosquitoes about 127 in cowshed which had some characteristics such as bigger size than another mosquito and they used to come out about 06.00 to 10.00 PM. There were 96 medium-sized mosquitoes at rubber plantation which had activity around 05.00 AM. While there were 38 small-sized mosquitoes which are living around cluster residents environment and usually bit human about 06.00 to 09.00 PM. In concluding, the largest number of anopheles mosquitoes was in cowshed (0.118%) with malaria cases of 6 people and who are living about 10 to 20 meters nearby cowshed.

Abstract

Hypertension is a condition that shows a person's blood pressure ≥140 mmHg for systolic and / or ≥90 mmHg pressure for diastolic pressure. The purpose of this research is to know the correlation between consumption pattern of macro and micro nutrients to blood pressure of hypertension patient in RSUD dr.M.Yunus Bengkulu Year 2017. Method: This research is an analytic survey, with cross sectional design. The location of this research is in poly disease in RSUD dr.M.Yunus. Samples were hypertension patients who treated in poly disease in RSUD Dr.M.Yunus Bengkulu as many as 50 samples, taken with chi square technique. Data of macro and micro nutrient intake was obtained through form food frequency questioner (FFQ). The data obtained were analyzed using chi square test. There is no association of protein with hypertension, no association of fat with hypertension, no carbohydrate relationship with hypertension, no sodium relationship with hypertension, no calcium relationship with hypertension, no potassium relationship with hypertension, no magnesium relationship with hypertension, no there is correlation of fiber with hypertension, there is no correlation of vitamin D with hypertension in RSUD dr.M.Yunus Kota Bengkulu year 2017. There is no correlation of consumption pattern of macro and micro nutrients with blood pressure in hypertension patient in poly disease in RSUD Dr.M. Yunus bengkulu in 2017. Abstract

Diabetes mellitus (DM) is one of the most common chronic diseases experienced by the world population and ranks fourth cause of death in developing countries. Long-term complications of diabetes mellitus one of them is diabetic ulcer (15%) and is the most cause (85%) of amputation in patients with diabetes mellitus. Currently, more than 5,000 modern types of dressings are reported to be available to treat wounds, especially diabetic ulcers. To know the process of wound healing diabetic ulcer was done with the design of case study research with a sample of 2 people and this study was conducted for 4 weeks. The study was conducted at the Maitis Efrans Wound Care clinic in Bengkulu City. The result was obtained that the assessment of diabetic ulcer wounds before modern wound care on the respondents was a total score of 54 and the respondents two total score of 50 were stated wound regeneration. The healing process of the responder's second ulcers progressed, the total score of one respondent was 30 and the respondent two was 28. Respondents. Progress on the two respondents stated better influenced by wound healing factor that is, age factor.

Abstract

Pneumonia is an infection or inflammation of the lower respiratory tract that involves the alveoli and bronchioles. Risk factors for pneumonia which occurs in boys aged 1-3 years with a skinny body weight. Pneumonia is the leading cause of death of infants and toddlers in Indonesia with a total percentage (23.6%), which is the largest proportion of all-cause mortality in infants and toddlers. This study used a descriptive design, with a population of children aged 1-3 years which amounted to 51 people, technique data sampling was used Total Sampling, data collection secondary techniques, data obtained by existing records in health centers (patient registers). The results showed that the majority (60.8%) children aged 13-24 months, the majority (72.5%) child-sex male, and most (56.9%) children were in the category of lean body weight. It is recommended to parents, especially mothers to be able to take precautions against the occurrence of pneumonia, such as providing adequate nutrition to children so that children are not malnourished which can increase the risk of pneumonia
