Abstract

This thesis examines how student participation and perception in learning in school. As still found the problem of lack of student participation in the task and the lack of participation in bringing materials for the task of art subjects, as well as the perception of some students who consider that the subjects of art is not too important than other subjects.The purpose of this thesis is to find out how the participation and perception of students in art learning. This research method using quantitative research type, with data collection method through research questionnaire, in data processing researcher using SPSS version 16 application.The results of research conducted at SMPN 4 Lembah Gumanti to the participation and perceptions of students in art learning have good participation and good perception.Keywords: partispasi, perception, art learning.

Abstract

This Final Project aims to visualize uninhabitable homes in the formo of post impressionist paintings. As well as showing the importance of the role of the government in overcoming poverty in the middle and lower classes of society in order to alleviate the burden of their suffering and get a better life. The method in making this work, through several stages, namely: Preparation, Elaboration, Synthesis, Realist concepts and Resolutions are then exhibited. The works presented are depictions of uninhabitable homes in the lives of the poor, ten titles are as follows: My neighbor's house, Neglected, Disadvantaged, Shack, Old house, Ground floor house, Their suffering, Life Lantern ?, Their porch and Palace.Keywords: Houses, Uninhabitable, Painting, Post-Impressionism.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is 1) to improve students activity in learning through cooperative learning STAD in art lesson at SMP N 6 Pariaman, 2) to improve the the result of learning in art lesson through the using of cooperative learning STAD type at SMP N 6 Pariaman. Type of this research is classroom action research. Subject of this research is students of VIII 1 SMP N 6 Pariaman. Total of students are 19 students. This research is hel in VIII 1 SMP N 6 Pariaman, Jln Gondoriah No 70 K, Pariaman, West Sumatera. This research is held of two cycle, technique of collecting data through observation form, result observation. Technique of analysis data use percentage formula. The result of this research conclude that the using of cooperative learning STAD can improve students activity in learning art lesson. This method also can improve the achievement of students in learning art lesson, VIII 1 class at SMP N 6 Pariman. At the pre- cycle, the mean of students ability is 62,47 then at the first cycle 68,89 and rised at the second cycle, 86,84.

Abstract

Roses are ornamental plantswith stems that have thorns. Many planted in the garden and most sold in the flower shop as cut flowers or sow flowers. This flower is valuable because of its beauty and aroma, as well as useful and has manybenefits. Roses can almost be found in all countries around the world, so dubbed as the “Queen of all flowers”. The beauty of the rose is expressive make the author interestedto visualize it in the form of wall decoration. The metod of creating this work is made through three stages through lace, embroidery and embroidery techniques. Sketches made manually with roses as the main object, the material used is black and red velvet fabric, yarn used are lace thread, embroidery thread, and embroidery thread, with various colors. Roses are made with lace techniques, leaves with embroidery techniques, while the background embroidered with a drag technique. The seven works produced are titled respectively ie Gentleness, Complement, Joy, Hope, Passion, Tranquility and Purity.Keywords: Roses, lace, hand embroidered, embroidery.

Abstract

This study aims to: Describe 1) forms the motif carving 2) placement of the motif carving 3) the shape and placement of the motif carving in the rumah gadang Alang Babega and Dt. Rajo Bagindo Malano. The research method using qualitative research with descriptive approach. The results showed that the shape of the motif carving on the both namely the form of plants, animals and geometric. Placement motif carving on the papan banyak, singok and dinding hari. The shape and placement of the motif carving on both the Rumah Gadang is different, only some a few motif carving are same.Keywords: Form, placement, comparation

Abstract

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui kemampuan guru dalam merancang perencanaan pembelajaran Seni di kelas XI jurusan Lukis SMK N 4 Padang. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuantitatif deskriptif. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian deskriptif. Data diperoleh menggunakan teknik populasi dan sampel. Data yang diperoleh diolah dengan cara mendeskripsikan dan menganalisis data. Penganalisisan dilakukan pada perencanaan pembelajaran yang dibuat oleh guru mata pelajaran di jurusan Seni kelas XI.. Dari hasil penelitian yang dilakukan diketahui bahwa perencanaan pembelajaran seni di kelas XI SMK mencapai kriteria sedang (2.00 - 2,99) untuk indikator, tujuan pembelajaran, alokasi waktu, metode pembelajaran, kegiatan pembelajaran, penilaian hasil belajar, dan sumber belajar. Kata Kunci : Analisis, Perencanaan, Seni.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to describe the Welcome Statue at Air Tawar Area in Padang. This research is a descriptive qualitative research. Sources of data in this study of foam welcome statue (primary data), informants and literature(secondary data). Data collection procedures done through observation, interviews and documentation study. Based on the results of the study, concluded the following. The conclusions of the study: Welcome Statue at Air Tawar Area in Padang is asclupture that serve as icon that serves as a symbol of welcoming guests who enter the city of Padang, especially at Air Tawar area. Advice to future researchers to investigate further, so that the information about Welcome Statue at Air Tawar Area in Padang more complete.Keyword: welcome statue, foam, function

Abstract

This research was designed for revealing the difference betweenlearning achievement of the students taught by using peer tutor strategyand those taught by using conventional strategy in the learning process ofshapes in class X DPIL of SMK Negeri 4 Padang. The data gotten wasanalyzed throught descriptive analysis and inductive analysis. Based onthe result of hypothesis test it was figured out that the value of tcalculated(3.60) was bigger than ttable (2.00). this result signified that Ho was rejected and H1 was accepted indicating that there was a significant difference between learning achievement of the students taught by using peer tutor strategy and those taught by using conventional strategy in the learning process of shapes in class X DPIL of SMK Negeri 4 Padang.Kata kunci: hasil belajar, mata pelajaran menggambar bentuk, strategitutor sebaya
