This work aims to visualize anxiety as an expression in abstract painting. Humans in living life can not be separated from the problems both with individuals and groups, from some problems that occur there are cause anxiety.In realizing this work requires a brilliant idea and certainly can not be separated from the stage or process of creation. In this case the stages of the process of creating paintings of self-anxiety is through the process of preparation, elaboration, synthesis, concept realization, and completion.The works are displayed with abstract painting style, to visualize the feeling arising from the anxiety that the author feels in the life of society. This research is purposed to describe the form and meaning of motive, and also function of woven cloth from Ampalu Lareh Sago Halaban. Research method that used here was qualitative research with descriptive approach. Research finding shows that the form and meaning of motive of woven cloth from Ampalu Lareh Sago Halaban come from natural objects, and the meaning is taken from Minangkabau philosophy that is “Alam Takambang Jadi Guru/Learning from Nature”. The form of woven cloth motive from Ampalu Lareh Sago Halaban was based on 8 floral motives, 2 fauna motives, and 5 geometric motives. Functions of woven cloth in Nagari Ampalu Lareh Sago Halaban were clothing and cultural functions.Keywords: form, meaning, and functions of woven cloth of Nagari Ampalu Lareh Sago Halaban

The purpose of this research to determine the effect of the use of learning learners sebujects prakarya with the focus of the results of learning learners on the class experiment with the class control of the material craft in the VII Junior High School 22 Padang. This type of research is quantitative research.The research conducted in Junior High School 22 Padang on 09 – 30 January 2019. The research instrument is the test of the student learning outcomes. Test result learn of leraners become instrument research. The results of research show the results of leraning learners who taught using the drill method of significantly different with the results of learning learners taught by the provosion of the task (recitation). Basaed on the hypothesis test conducted that the t value = 4.442 and t table = 2.000 then the hypothesis is accepted with a significance value 0,000 < 0,05.Keywords: Drill,excercise, significant

This study aims to determine the relationship of preparedness to teach students PPLK Arts with student learning outcomes in Arts subjects in SMP Negeri Padang. This type of research is correlational, this study tries to lift and analyze the situation on the ground. Retrieving data using random sampling techniques. Data were collected by questionnaire and learning outcomes. The findings in this study show that: the readiness to teach students PPLK Arts has a high correlation value to student learning outcomes. That is relationship readiness to teach students PPLK Arts has a significant relationship with student learning outcomes in Arts subjects in SMP Negeri Padang. It can be concluded that the readiness to teach art students in performing PPLK very important role in improving student learning hasi.Keywords: Readiness PPLK student teaching and learning outcomes

The purpose this final work is to visualize AsmaulHusna'scaligraphy in graphic art with stencil print technique. The method used there are five stages: preparation, elaboration, synthesis, concept realization and completion. At the end of the stages writer held exhibitions. Media used in the creating of graphic works art is watercolors on canvas. The 10 works include al-Malik, al-'Aziz, al-Mutakabir, al-Qahar, al-'Azhim, al-'Aliy, al-Kabir, al-Qawiy, al-Muqtadir, al-Baqiy representing themes who was raised about the greatness of God. The purpose of this final work is to represent the phenomena and effects of physical warfare to humans through real digital painting.This method of art creation, using five stages of preparation stage, elaboration stage, synthesis stage, realization stage and completion of concepts, and holding digital painting exhibition. In the creation of painting digital artwork writers using hardware and software, in hardware using laptops and pen tablets while in the software the author uses Adobe Photoshop.War is a phenomenon that is very difficult to remove from human life, although people are aware and know that it can cause a lot of harm to all parties, including those who started the war. In this work is a picture of the author's anxiety about the phenomenon of war which resulted in many losses in humans, the resulting loss is very complex both physically and psychologically, the author hopes with this work, can be a reminder of how important it is to maintain peace. In representing the phenomenon of war, the author presents 10 works namely : Immortal, Survival, Sembunyi, Gray, Menunggu, Harapan, Pengungsi, Menyesal, Berurat-berakar and just watching.Keywords: Imajinasi perang, Digital painting, and Surrealist

Abstract Nowadays, Minangkabunese starts to forget their own culture,especially the young generation of Minang who gets influenced by many cultures.This works is aimed to remind young generation of Minang abauat the custm of Minang culture, and also to give new horizon or new idea metal skill chasing repose and engraving technigue final project there are ten works produced,entitlet, 1) alam takambang jadi guru, 2) aia janiah salangko landai, ikan jinak sulik dijangkau, 3) kalawik riak mahampeh, kapulau riak mamutuih, 4) mati samuik karano manisan, 5) aia didaun keladi, 6) itiak pulang patang, 7) kalau talia kaia panjang sajangka, lawik dalam susah diduga, 8) kuek dari paga basi, kokoh nan dari paga tembok, 9) managakkan banang basah, 10) pasa jalan dek batampuah. While working on these works, the writer finds some obstacles, they art : 1) in working process, while combining the two technicues used, the writer has to think abaout part of work seriously. 2) in finishing the work, writer often changes the materialin coloring the metal skill in order o get an appoprate color and agreed by the adusors. This thesis aims to visualize the moral message of folklore in Riau through ontemporary realist paintingto be used aspreservation of cultural and moral education for human life. The porpoes of this research are: 1) to desribe of the sulaman bayang’s design in Panampuang Village Ampek Angkek District, 2) to desribe of the sulaman bayang’s technics in Panampuang Village Ampek Angkek District, 3) to desribe of the placement of sulaman bayang’s in Panampuang Village Ampek Angkek District.This is qualititatif research which is use descriptive approach in Panampuang Village Ampek Angkek District. The data resources taken the craftsman and the entrepreneurs in sulaman bayang’s in Panampuang Village. The data resources is collecting from observation, interview and documentation, such as photographs and references related to the variable of the reseources. The technics of this data analisis this descriptive approach are: 1) the data reduction, 2) arrenging/presenting the data, 3) the verification/conclusion.The result of this study found some names of sulaman bayang’s design in Village Panampuang, they are bungo mawar, bungo melati, bungo kacumbuang, ros pacah, kupu-kupu, relung, bungo M and trompet design. The design of sulaman bayang’s taken from plants and animal in Panampuang Village use tikam jejak for line shaped design such as stem and sticks flannel for design as the shape of leaves and flower.
