Abstract

This study reports the synthesis of soluble polyaniline by the oxidation polymerization method with various dopants HCl, H2SO4, and Fumaric acid (FA). This dopant variation is carried out to obtain polyaniline with optimum solubility and electrical conductivity. The results of FTIR characterization showed several characteristic polyaniline bonds from the samples that had been synthesized. PANi/FA with a concentration of 1M has the best solubility compared to PANi/HCl and PANi/H2SO4, with a solubility value of 5.7% in NMP solvents. The electrical conductivity of all samples was measured by the two-point probe method. PANi / HCl with a concentration of 1M has the best conductivity than PANi/FA and PANi/H2SO4 with a value of 48 x10-4 S/cm. The morphology of the oxidized polyaniline powder was observed using SEM. SEM results showed the morphology of polyaniline in the form of an interconnected sponge.

Abstract

This study aimed to prove the concept of diffraction by determining the wavelength of green (532 ± 10) nm and purple (405 ± 10) nm laser pointers using transmission diffraction gratings of light interference patterns. The wavelength measurement results are then compared with the wavelength indicated on the laser. In this study, the distance between the grid and the screen (L) was varied by 100 cm, 75 cm, and 50 cm while the distance between the gaps (d) was varied by 100 lines/mm, 300 lines/mm, and 600 lines/mm. The method used in this study is an experimental method using a transmission diffraction grid and the interference results are displayed on the screen. The results showed data on brightspot distances of order n-1, 2, and 3 from the center of the pattern with variations in laser green and purple, variations in screen distance with grids (L) 100 cm, 75 cm, and 100 cm, and variations in gap width (d) 100 lines/mm, 300 lines/mm, and 600 lines/mm. The data is then analyzed using the bright-pattern constructive interference equation to determine the wavelength. Based on wavelength measurement data, at the same lattice distance with the screen (L) and lattice width (d), the green laser has a brighter distance that is farther apart than the purple laser. The conclusion of this study is that when the gap width is smaller, the distance between the brights will be farther apart or the x value is larger, the results of measuring the wavelength are appropriate on the green laser (532 ± 11) nm, and close to the purple laser (412 ± 23).   Keywords: Wavelength, Laser, Transmission grating, Diffraction, Interference.

Abstract

Polycrystalline La0.7Ba0.3Mn(1-x)FexO3 (x=0, 0.1, 0.2, 0.25) has been successfully synthesized using the sol-gel citrate-nitrate auto combustion method, with the high purity basic materials of La2O3, Ba(NO3)2, Mn(NO3)2.4H2O, Fe2O3, and C₆H₈O₇.H₂O as reaction fuel. After the gel was formed, the sample was heated at 180oC for 2.5 hours. Calcination was carried out at 800oC for 2 hours. Then the sample was compressed with a pressure of 10 tons, the sample was sintered at a temperature of 900oC for 2 hours. X-Ray Diffraction (XRD) analysis data shows a single phase in the four samples. SEM analysis data shows that the morphology of the particle diameter becomes smaller as the Fe is being added to the Mn site. EDS analysis data shows the element content in the four samples which is in accordance with stoichiometric calculations, and confirms that the product resulting from the sol-gel synthesis is homogeneous. The calculation of Goldschmidt tolerance factor has confirmed that the crystal structure is rhombohedral perovskite structure (0.929, 0.934, 0.939, and 0.941). Abstract

The bilinear interpolation method is generally used to improve images that have noise. However, in this research the bilinear interpolation method will be used to determine the weight value of a digital scale designed with four load cell sensors. Data collection was carried out by placing loads at nine different points. The loads used are 2kg and 5kg. The results of this research are that the value of the point in the center or on the axis of the four load cells, namely points B, D, E, F, and H, has the same voltage as the actual value, namely for a 2kg weight of 4.31 mV. and for a weight of 5 kg it is 5.87 mV. Meanwhile, the other points, namely points A, C, G and I, have values that deviate from the actual value by 0.36 mV or an error of 36%.   Keywords: Bilinear Interpolation, Digital Scales, Load Cell Sensors.
