Abstract

Fixer solution is a chemical substance in the form of a concentrated liquid that is used to wash radiographic films. The Fixer Solution functions to dissolve the silver halide layer on unexposed radiographic films. This research aims to design a waste fixer solution processing device using the electrolysis method and to regulate the voltage to the optimal point to produce a large electrolysis rate. Design an electrolysis device using stainless steel electrodes with a trapezoidal cathode with parallel sides of the cathode with lengths of 170 mm, 145 mm and a cathode height of 155 mm. The anode is rectangular with a length of 30 mm and a height of 169 mm. The method for making tools goes through several stages, namely making tool designs, testing tools, and testing waste fixer solution. The fixer waste used comes from Betesdha Wonosari Hospital. In this research, each test used 5 liters of fixer waste at each voltage which was regulated for 3 hours. The higher the mass voltage produced, the higher the electrolysis rate will be. However, the higher the voltage, the faster the sulfidation process will be. In the design of this fixer waste management tool, it can work optimally at a voltage of 4 V with a speed of 4.87 g/hour.

Abstract

Abstract. Research has been carried out on the effect of the concentration of Kepok banana peel extract as an inhibitor on API 5L carbon steel in 3% NaCl corrosive medium. API 5L carbon steel immersion was carried out for 7 hours with two variations of immersion temperature, namely 40 and 80 oC and five variations in the concentration of corrosion inhibitors, namely 0%, 2%, 4%, 6%, 8%. Corrosion rate testing was carried out using the weight loss method. The results showed that the largest corrosion rates at immersion temperatures of 40 and 80 oC were at 0% inhibitor concentrations, namely 60.91 mm / y and 86.91 mm / y. Meanwhile, the lowest corrosion rate was at the inhibitor concentration of 8% at immersion temperatures of 40 and 80 oC, namely 32.51 mm / y and 63.92 mm / y. The greatest effectiveness of corrosion inhibitors occurred at a concentration of 8% at immersion temperatures of 40 and 80 oC of 56.63%, and 26.44%. The results of the X-Ray Diffraction (XRD) characterization showed that the phase formed was pure Fe. Scanning Electron Microscopy (SEM) characterization showed uneven clusters and smaller size, holes and cracks were also less in 8% inhibitor at immersion temperature of 40 and 80 oC compared to inhibitor 0% at immersion temperature 40 and 80 oC.

Abstract

Telah dilakukan penelitian dengan pengaplikasian sensor gas TGS 2620 dan MQ 138 untuk mendeteksi kematangan buah durian berbasis Raspberry Pi 3b. Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk menghasilkan alat deteksi tingkat kematangan buah durian. Durian diletakkan ke dalam ruang sampel yang berisi sensor gas. Metode klasifikasi yang digunakan untuk menentukan kematangan buah menggunakan K-Nearest Neighbor (KNN). Pengujian KNN dalam klasifikasi kematangan durian menggunakan sensor gas memiliki akurasi keseluruhan 91,07%.

Abstract

Hasil perancangan prototipe instrumen pengukuran gradien termal yang telah dilakukan sebelumnya membutuhkan pengujian lapangan. Pengujian ini bertujuan untuk melihat kemampuan instrumen prototipe dalam uji pengukuran langsung di lapangan panas bumi. Metode yang digunakan dalam pengujian adalah dengan membandingkan hasil pengukuran suhu pada instrumen prototipe dengan hasil pengukuran suhu menggunakan instrumen MAE A5000T penelitian sebelumnya di Padang Cermin. Penghitungan gradien termal dilakukan secara otomatis oleh sistem dalam prototipe menggunakan teknik kuadrat terkecil (Least Squares Method). Hasil pengukuran menunjukkan adanya keselarasan suhu khususnya pada area manifestasi. Peta sebaran suhu mengindikasikan pola klasterisasi yang menunjukkan hubungan aliran fluida panas, khususnya pada arah barat-timur. Adanya konektivitas fluida panas ini diinterpretasikan sebagai struktur geologi atau zona permeable pada area manifestasi. Hasil pengukuran gradien termal juga menunjukkan pola gradien tinggi di area manifestasi panas bumi. Selain itu, sebaran nilai suhu rendah pada ketiga layer juga mengindikasikan sumber aliran fluida air permukaan yang selaras dengan arah puncak gunung. Hal ini memperkuat indikasi bahwa sumber recharge atau resapan air meteorik didominasi oleh puncak Gunung Ratai. Temuan ini mengindikasikan bahwa prototipe instrumen pengukuran gradien termal ini mampu digunakan di lapangan panas bumi.
