Abstract

The research of the effect of liquid organic fertilizer to the soybean growth on podzolik merah kuning soil has been held. The aim of the research is to know the effect of fluid organic fertilizer to he growth of soybean on podzolik merah kuning soil. This research is complete randomized design (RAL) about this research in 6 treatment and 4 repetation. Those are A = 0 ml/polibag, B = 60 ml/polibag, C = 120 ml/polibag, D = 180 ml/polibag, E = 260 ml/polibag, F = 300 ml/polibag. The data is analyzed by various investigation and continued test with DMRT. The result of research shows that it’s giving the positive effect of soil’s pH, the plant’s heigh, plants aged 7, 14, 21, 28, nd 35 days number of leaves, total wet weight’s plant, dried weight’s plant and number of nodule of these plants shows positive effect of the soybean’s growth. Abstract

Has been design program to determine efesiensi radiation of black body through method Simpson applies programming language Borland Delphi. To know level of black body radiant energy is required [by] mathematical calculation of which is complicated enough and requires time sufficiently long, this thing would many generating error in calculation and data processing. Calculation program designed able to calculate efesiensi radiation of black body easily and quickly with level of a real small error that is 0219%. Abstract

The energy crisis has stimulated scientists to begin developing the concept of zero energy building through residual energy conservation and turn it into something useful, One of them is the use of ethanol in PEM fuel cells are obtained through distillation. To change the temperature Ethanol and can be destilled, will be designed heat exchanger that has a function : raising the temperature of ethanol in order to evaporates with intermediate high temperature water, and then lowering the temperature back pure ethanol with low-temperature water heat convection. ‘Spiral Tube In Pipe’heat exchanger is designed to transfer heat that brought by ethanol with the temperature  80 C  to the cooling water in a spiral tube wrapped with a pipe. Hopefully, through this method can achieve maximum heat transfer value, with low cost on ethanol output temperature 35 C. The basic principles in the development of this heat exchanger are the achievement of maximum heat transfer, Simple in design  and economic value.Tube material made of copper wich has good conduction coefficient. Water pipes made ​​of PVC plastic gutter is easily available and cheap. Minimum pipe size is designed to be more flexible, easily placed anywhere and is simple to maintain. In this paper also included a CFD simulation to determine the flow characteristics that occur along the copper tube. Mathematical equations of physical phenomena was resolved through a linear regression methods. Keywords: heat transfer, Spiral tube , efficiency, CFD simulation

Abstract

The Research we propose is to compare watermarking method using Discrete Wavelet Transform (DWT) with Discrete Cosinus Transform (DCT). From these two methods, we will see the comparison of image has been given watermarking. By looking at the results of these two methods, the owner of digital image can select the best method to protect his data based to his need.  The watermarked image will be analyzed objectively by means square error (MSE) and peak-to-peak signal to noise ratio (PSNR). Then we will look at its influences after given noise degradation. The simulation results showed the Discrete Wavelet Transform (DWT) methods is the best if it is compare to Discrete Cosinus Transform (DCT). Keywords: DWT, DCT, image processing, noise, MSE, PSNR

Abstract

Irrational drug use such as antibiotic for non pneumonic acute respiratory tract infections is the problems, because reduction in the quality of drug therapy leading to increased morbidity and mortality, increased cost, adverse reactions and bacterial resistance. Antibiotic use for non pneumonic acute respiratory tract infections and non specific diarrhea in Center  Health Padang City, average 28,%. It is  much higher than ideal target of 0% and still hight than province target of less than 20%. The aim of this study to know how much antibiotic proportion use in children under five years with non pneumonic acute respiratory tract infections, and to know about relationship independent variabel such as backgrouns study, knowledge, attitude of standart treatment, skill of dicision diagnosis, patiens demands, supervisition and formal training with dependent variable antibiotic use for children under five years with non pneumonic acute respiratory tract infections. Study with Quantitatif method with cross sectional desain . Result of antibiotic use proportions 24,3%, and relationship analysis in quantitative method result significant relationship between knowledge, attitude of standart treatment, supervision, and formal training with antibiotic use  for children under five years with non pneumonic acute respiratory tract infections. Result study may use to decrease irrational antibiotic to many desease, specially to decision making for antibiotic  interventions use for non pneumonic acute respiratory  tract infections. Abstract

The research about the influence of the difference fiber provider process from the empty stem palm sludge to the fiber board has been done in the laboratory of forestry faculty on the Muhamadyah university, West Sumatera, and the laboratory of agriculture output technology in the agriculture faculty of Andalas University, also in the civil enginering laboratorium of Padang polytechnic. The research done since March until June 2008. the research’s purpose is to understand the influence of the difference fiber provider from the empty stem palm sludge to create the fiber board where the result arranged from the differ components (mass material as same as the treatment) to the fiber board and to evaluate the characteristic from the fiber board that has been created. To understand the influence of the difference fiber provider from the empty stem palm sludge to create the fiber board to distinguish the mass material among others: 100% mass material, 94% mass material, 62% mass material, and 32% mass material. The research use the complex random design with 4 treatment ang 5 times repeatation, then continued by using duncan’s new multiple range test (DNMRT) at the 5% significant extent to test the water content and the fiber board density and continued at the 15% significant extent. The result shows that the fiber provider with 94% has qualified the SNI 1996 except for the absorbtion capability and the development of thick. Althougth the fiber provider with the mass material of 62% and 32% contribute more value but does not effective to be applied in the wood panel industry. The fiber characteristic from the palm’s empty stem with the mass material 94% as follows: 9.59% water content, 4.25% extractive substances, 23.14% lignin content, 65.09% degree holosellulosa, 46.49% degree sellulosa. Physical characteristic of fiberboard with a mass of 94% as follows: 8.70% water content, 0.7477 g/cm3 density, 73.40% the absorption capability of water, and  50.92% the value of the development of thick. While for the mechanical characteristic of fibreboard produced as follows: 80.8720 kg/cm2 broken persistence, 49.1767 kg/cm2 persistence press and 6.4863 kg/cm2 internal fortitude sticking. Abstract

Effect of nitrate salts [NaNO3, KNO3, Mg(NO3)2 and Sr(NO3)2], on the critical micellization concentration (cmc) of  saponin, as  a natural non-ionic surfactant, which isolated from Sapindus Rarak D.C, have been conducted by a tensiometric method. Results showed that (1) the higher of concentration of the added nitrate salts, the lower cmc reached; (2) the more electropositive of added cation of added salts, the lower cmc reached; (3) the salt effect on the decreasing of  cmc and cations binding to micelles becomes more pronounced in the order Na+< K+< Mg2+< Sr2+; and (4) cmc decreasing of nitrat salts Na, K, Mg, dan Sr. were favorable enough, while nitrate salts of Mg and Sr at concentration of  ≥ 0,06M, showed a constant decreasing cmc relatively. Abstract

This research, compiled an alternative of trouble-shooting in the form of archiving management implementation by using technology Lotus Domino Server version of 8.0.5 and Lotus Notes version of 8.0.5. This archiving management information system is very wide and complex on that account in this research to study problem of observation (auditing) done by Internal Control Identity. This study concerning Information systems to based on the literature. Data collecting based on data any kind of which required to design this information systems.
