The research aims at knowing how influence of exports value and the Indonesian rupiah exchange rate to the economic growth in Central Java. This research uses multiple linear regression analysis with annual data year 1984-2013 and uses secondary data from government institution in Central Java. The data collect used a literature review. Partially, the independent variable of the export value give a significant effect on economic growth in Central Java. Partial regression test (t test) showed that H0 accepted and Ha rejected contained in the export value variable (X1). While the variable currency exchange rates also has a significant impact on economic growth in Central Java. Partial regression test (t test) showed that H0 accepted and Ha rejected contained in the export value variable (X2) but the exchange rate have influence negatif to the economic growth in Central Java. Simultaneously, the two independent variables significantly influence the economic growth in the province of Central Java. For the coefficient of determination value R Square (R2) of 0.634, which means 63.4% economic growth in Central Java Province can be explained by two Independent variables export and currency exchange rate While the remaining 36.6% is explained by other causes.

The method of collecting data are interview, observation, and literature review. Analysis of quality control is done by using Statistical Process Control tools such as check sheet, histogram, c chart, pareto chart, and fishbone chart. Check sheet and histogram are used to present data become easier to be understood for further analysis. C chart analysis result indicate that there are 27 days in March 2016 in which the data is out of control limits, it means that quality control in the company needs further improvement. According to pareto analysis, the dominant of defects are Light Filling Bar (45,3%), Miss Pick (28,8%), and Filling Bar (25,9%). From fishbone chart, it can be known that the main causes that trigger the defects are derived from method factor, personnel (man) factor, and machine factor. The company could take preventive and corrective measures to reduce the defect level and improve quality among others, by enhancing supervision, improving work assessment, and regenerating machines.

The result of regression analysis indicated that price perception, trust, quality service had positive influence on customer satisfaction. Based on t test it was indicated that price perception, trust, quality service had positive significant influenced on customer satisfaction. Based on F test, independent variables simutaneuosly influenced the customer satisfaction significantly, with coeficient of determination (R2) of 0,910. This means that 91% of customer satisfaction could be influenced by price perception, trust, quality service while the remaining of 9% was influenced by other variables which were not observed.

Abstract

This study aims to determine how is the implementation of quality control products conducted in PT Apparel One Indonesia by using statistical methods. The data collecting method in this study is direct observation conducted in August 2015. Analysis of quality control is done using statistical methods contained in Statistical Quality Control (SQC) such as check sheets, histograms, p-charts, pareto charts and cause-effect diagram. C Chart analysis results indicate that there are four days which are still experiencing irregularities. Data on the number 14 (August 21th) and 16 (August 25th) has passed the lower limit which means percentage failure is good enough to close to 0. However the data number 13 (August 20th) and 18 (August 27th) the failure has passed the upper limit where the failure is reach 7.60 % and 8.14 % indicates that the process is in a state of uncontrolled or still experiencing irregularities. Based on Pareto diagram, it can be seen that the failure is mostly caused by skip at 30.4% followed by puckering 20.4 % then cleanliness 18.4 %, caused by broken 17.5 % and measure 13.3 %. From the analysis of cause-effect diagram, it is also seen that the factors causing products failure is derived from human factors, machinery production, working methods, materials/ raw materials and work environment. In order to prevent failure, the company can take preventive and corrective measures to reduce the level of product failure and improve product quality, such as training the worker, doing maintenance regularly, and inspection on the material quality.

Abstract

Calculation of the cost of goods at first applied in manufacturing companies, but in its development calculation of the cost of service has been adapted by the service company, which is called the cost of services. The cost service have a very important role in determining the price of services. If calculation the cost of services is too low indeed will attract consumers, but led to the sale of services can not cover the cost of production of services, and otherwise, if the cost of services is too high, then the resulting selling price is too expensive, it will result in product and services less attractive to consumers. This study aims to determine differences in rates Unloading International Container if calculated by the conventional method and the Activity based costing system method, The conventional method imposes a costs arising from rates International loading unloading using the basic costs allocation of volume services production. while the ABC method is a method of determining the cost of using the activity and cost driver as a means to calculate the cost of International loading unloading. The research result for Unloading unloading International Container FCL 20’ and Container 20' using Conventional methods are respectively $ 80.68 and $ 60.69. Whereas calculations using the ABC method has a tariff of $ 74.80 and $ 56.27, while rates by the company is also around $ 80 and $ 60. The results Shows, Terminal Peti Kemas Semarang (TPKS) does not charge rates too far from the cost, which means that although TPKS has been using its own method in determining the service rates loading unloading of containers, but it already covers the entire needs of the cost of loading unloading. However, by using the ABC method, TPKS can appropriately plan budget in detail. ABC method can also provide information of production costs that is more accurate and informative.

This study is counted as research survey, the population in this study is the customer who had used Pos Express more than twice. The technique used for collecting the data is purposive sampling, with obtained sample as many as 100 people. The research instrument used in this study has been tested it’s validity and reliability. The data analysis tools used for research hypotheses is path analysis with helps from multiple linear regression and sobel test. The result of first regression model shows that there are two independent variables which is significant on customers’ satisfaction partially and one was not. Price perception variable has the most influence on Pos Express customers’ satisfaction. The value of coefficient determination R2 is 0.205, which means that all independent variables ability to explain the variance on Pos Express customers’ satisfaction variable is 20.5%, and the rest can be explained by other variables that not included in this research. The result of second regression model shows that there are four independent variables affect customer’s loyalty partially and simultaneously. Price perception has the most influence on Pos Express customer’s loyalty. The value of coefficient detemintion R2 is 0.579, which means that all independent variables ability to explain the variations on Pos Express customer’s loyalty variable is 57.9%, and the rest can be explained by other variables that not included in this study. According to the result of sobel test, partially price perception and service quality have significant indirect effect on customer’s loyalty of Pos Express through customers’ satisfaction. This research used secondary data in the form of annual and monthly report of sales, production volume, and exchange rate used during transaction for the period of May 2015 – May 2018, so there are 37 samples for this research. Data analysis technique used in this research is multiple linear regression. The result shows that there is a simultaneous effect of product price, production volume, and exchange rate toward export volume of “Nagai”. Partially, product price has negatively effect on “Nagai” export volume. Production volume and exchange rate both give possitive effect on “Nagai” export volume. Production volume is the most influential independent variable compared to product price and exchange rate. Suggestion to increase the export volume of “Nagai” product in short term period is to give an extra attention to production factors and stock opname that will affect directly to production volume.
