Abstract

Jatuhnya perekonomian Indonesia akibat COVID-19 mengakibatkan angka kriminalitas meningkat dimana salah satunya adalah pencurian rumah. Hal ini membuat kecemasan pemilik rumah ketika meninggalkan rumah. Salah satu solusi yang dapat digunakan adalah penggunaan sistem smart home. Smart home adalah sistem dimana pemilik rumah dapat memantau rumah dan mengendalikan alat-alat listrik baik dilakukan di dalam maupun di luar rumah. Smart home yang sekarang masih belum bersifat multiple platform sehingga menggunakan banyak program aplikasi. Oleh karena itu, penelitian ini mencoba untuk membuat sistem smart home yang berbasis internet of things (IoT). NodeMCU digunakan sebagai upload data ke server dan membaca sensor pintu dimana jika rumah ditinggalkan oleh pemiliknya dan pintu terbuka maka sistem akan mengirimkan data ke web serta sirine dan lampu akan menyala sebagai tanda bahaya. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa sistem dapat bekerja dengan baik dimana akses data dapat dilakukan baik di dalam dan di luar rumah.

Abstract

Soil moisture is one of the most influencing factors on the growth and development of a plant. Watering plants manually is considered quite long and time consuming, so by using technological innovations and information, a system is made that can monitor soil moisture and can automatically water plants. By using a soil moisture sensor that was built using the Arduino Uno microcontroller and added with a timer and date sensor, you can do watering 2 times a day. Based on the test results show the value of soil moisture with wet soil conditions by getting an output value below 750 then the machine automatically turns off and does not water the plants and the value of soil moisture with dry soil conditions by getting an output value above 750 then the machine will automatically turn on and water plant. This research is expected to be a solution to existing problems by providing convenience in the process of watering plants regularly.

Abstract

The development of the world of technology has made storing and sending digital images easier and more efficient. Problems that arise are issues of information security such as privacy and confidentiality. Images that are stored or distributed in their original form are very vulnerable to wiretapping, theft, and access by unauthorized parties. Image security is carried out using a combination of the vigenere cipher algorithm and the one time pad algorithm, both algorithms are included in symmetric cryptography where the encryption key process is the same as the decryption process. Randomization is done by crossing the process of the two algorithms on the image color pixel row using different keys in each algorithm. The randomization results show that the combination of these two algorithms works well because it will be difficult to break the key compared to using only one algorithm, but the larger the image size, the security system will be the slower the encryption and decryption process will be. The implementation of the security system uses Microsoft Visual Basic 2010 software. The results of this system are in the form of an encrypted image file (ciphercitra) that cannot be understood, then the image file returns to normal after being decrypted.

Abstract

Flood is a natural phenomenon that usually occurs in an area that is often flowed by rivers. The impact of flooding can be reduced if the community is better prepared to face the coming flood. One of the solution is to create a flood early warning system. In this study, the concept of early warning system is a river water level sensor that consist of 2 conductor plates that will produce a capacitance value when drowned into the water with a certain depth. These water level measurement values will use 3 different methods. Furthermore, those three methods will be compared to determine the best method that produces a small measurement error. The three methods are linear regression, polynomial regression, and neuro fuzzy. The results show that the measurement error which generated by linear regression was 25.45%, the measurement error that generated by polynomial regression was 13.61%, and the measurement error that generated by neuro fuzzy was 3.76%. According to these error values, the study finds that neuro fuzzy is the best method for water level measurement.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan tujuan untuk membuat prediksi prestasi belajar siswa atribut yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini diantaranya status sosial ekonomi orang tua, motivasi, kedisiplinan siswa dan prestasi masa lalu menggunakan metode pohon keputusan dengan algoritma C4.5. Pendekatan penelitian yang digunakan adalah kuantitatif.Subyek penelitian ini adalah siswa tingkat X SMK Negeri 3 Parepare berjumlah 349 siswa. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah dokumentasi dan angket. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa evaluasi dari data test set, di dapatkan bahwa nilai keakuratan dalam memprediksi prestasi siswa menunjukkan hasil yaitu 98,85% dan error 1.15% tingginya tingkat akurasi dapat disimpulkan bahwa algoritma C4.5 memiliki kinerja yang cukup baik dalam membentuk Aturan-aturan. Dengan kata lain algoritma C4.5 bekerja dengan baik dan bisa di terapkan untuk memprediksi prestasi siswa.

Abstract

Multiplatform application development is an unavoidable technological demand. Startup industries are increasingly emerging by offering convenience from various aspects of life, retail, finance, green life, artificial intelligence to the Internet of Things. This is in line with the increasing growth of innovation both systemically and technically, it does not rule out the possibility that these innovations include ways to use the minimum resources possible to produce the maximum possible output. The use of the Restfull API is a good solution to solve this problem, the output, which can be a JSON file, can be communicated with various application platforms. This study will review the use of popular applications such as Google Spreadsheets to become a media provider for web services. This method is implemented in the process of updating student data at the Nurdin Hamzah University in the Dikti Feeder.

Abstract

Currently, various techniques for measuring the proximity between two objects in the internet network are continuously being developed. The objects in question are in the form of concepts, e-mails, words, and so on. Normalized Web Distance (NWD) has proven to be a simple, yet powerful measure of the semantic linkages between the two concepts. NWD has several approaches according to the object being measured, such as Normalized Google Distance (NGD) and Normalized Compression Distance (NCD). NGD and NCD have a way of determining similarity and calculating the distance to find the similarity of two different measuring objects. This paper shows and provides information on the performance of the two NWD approaches, namely NGD and NCD to facilitate understanding of the use of NGD and NCD on various problems. Correct understanding can put the NGD and the NCD in the right case.

Abstract

Humans to be able to communicate with themselves and others are required to have the ability to read. Reading interest will grow if it is supported by adequate reading materials and is of interest to the reader, because it is from reading material that a person will encounter various things that have never been known before. The SMART method is a method for multi-attribute decision making. This multi-criteria decision-making technique is based on the theory that each alternative consists of a number of criteria that have values and each criterion has a weight that describes how important it is compared to other criteria. This weighting is used to assess each alternative in order to obtain the best alternative. For that the writer tries to make a Decision Support System to Determine the Reading Interest of students in Borrowing Books. In making this Decision Support System the author uses MS. Visual Basic 2010 for data processing. Thus, a manual work process using the SMART method can be distinguished. From the calculation results of the 20 data that have been carried out, the ranking results with the highest score are Fahira Rambe (A7) with a value of 0.83, which means that they have the highest reading interest among other students.

Abstract

To maintain security, encryption techniques are used so that the confidentiality of the data is guaranteed. One of the encryption algorithms that is often used is the RSA (Rivest Shamir Adleman) algorithm. On this occasion the author is interested in studying the sql server database security application. In this study, the RSA (Rivest Shamir Adleman) algorithm is used to protect the PKH (Family Hope Program) database. The system will generate public keys and private keys. To secure the PKH database is encrypted with a public key. All data will be encrypted, while the private key will decrypt or restore the original state with the RSA algorithm. The application of the RSA cryptographic algorithm is a good solution for the sql server database security system that will be used to secure the PKH database. To ensure the confidentiality of PKH data stored in the database, by using the RSA algorithm into the system, the data is stored in the database so that the contents of the data cannot be understood by other parties.

Abstract

The information technology accelerates so fast. The computer is a device that was created to facilitate human work and help achieving good progress in the manufacture of hardware and software. Dinas Kependudukan dan Catatan Sipil Kota Pontianak does need an existence of an information system that supports and provides satisfactory service for society. For that reason the writer tries to make the final task about The Web-Based Application of Population’s Archives Management in Dinas Kependudukan dan Catatan Sipil Kota Pontianak, which until now has not been computerized. At this time Dinas Kependudukan dan Catatan Sipil Kota Pontianak is a service in charge of serving the community in terms of stewardship of letters that are private or state documents. The existing system in Dinas Kependudukan dan Catatan Sipil Kota Pontianak is still done manually, starting from keeping, arranging and searching the archives, it is possible for the workers to search archives using the numbers in every storage rack and it will spend a lot of time and energy especially when the archives are needed quickly. The Web-Based Application of Population’s Archives Management is the best solution to solve these kind of problems - the problems that exist in this company will be solved by using a computerized system, this company will also gain an effective and efficient activities. By any means this computerized system will help the run of this company in the future. The computerized system is better than the manual system to run more effectively and efficiently and now managing population’s archives will be more conducive than ever before.
